한국 청소년의 부모자녀관계와 성취에 대한 종단연구: 자기효능감과 성취동기를 중심으로 (Longitudinal analysis of the influence of parent-child relationship on adolescents' academic achievement: With specific focus on the mediating role of self-efficacy and achievement motivation)

  • 이 연구는 한국 청소년의 학업성취과정에서 부모자녀관계가 어떠한 심리적 역동을 갖는가에 대한 분석을 주된 목적으로 한다. 부모자녀관계는 부모의 사회적 지원, 성취압력, 자녀에 대한 기대, 부모에 대한 죄송함과 존경심 지각을 포함했다. 이러한 부모자녀관계가 자녀의 심리특성으로서 자기조절학습효능감과 성취동기, 그리고 행동특성으로서 공부시간과 학업성적에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 동시에 학업성취과정에서 과거의 성취도가 어떠한 영향력을 갖는지에 대해서도 종단자료를 통해 분석하고자 했다. 1차 표집대상은 2개 초등학교 6학년 전체 961명이었으며, 그들이 중학교 1학년 시기가 되었을 때 7개 중학교에 분산된 856명이 2차 표집되었다. 그들이 중학교 3학년이 되었을 때 830명(남 411명, 여 419명)이 3차 표집되었고, 3차 표집대상 학생의 부모에게도 질문지를 실시하여 아버지 722명과 어머니 767명이 표집되었다. 3차 표집대상 중에서 학생과 아버지 어머니 자료가 모두 수집된 694명의 자료가 이 연구를 위한 최종분석대상이었다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다: 1) 과거의 학업성취도는 현재의 학업성적을 결정하는 가장 영향력있는 변인이었으며, 자기조절학습효능감과 공부시간에도 영향을 미쳤다. 2) 부모에 대한 죄송함은 성취동기를 높였으며, 성취동기는 공부시간에 직접적으로 관련되었다. 3) 부모에 대한 존경심은 자기조절학습효능감을 증진했으며, 높아진 효능감은 학업성적을 향상시켰다. 4) 부모의 사회적 지원은 자녀의 자기조절학습효능감과 성취동기를 증진했으며, 부모의 성취압력은 성취동기를 높였다. 5) 자녀에 대한 부모의 기대는 자녀의 학업성적에 정적인 영향이 있었다. 6) 자기조절학습효능감은 학업성적에 정적인 영향을 주었다. 이러한 결과로부터, 과거 학업성취가 현재 학업성취를 결정하는 가장 중요한 예언변인이며, 부모자녀관계와 자기조절학습효능감도 청소년의 학업성취에 영향을 주는 중요한 변인임이 확인되었다.

초등학생의 진로성숙도 발달궤적과 예측요인 (Career Maturity of Elementary School Students : Trajectories and Predictors of Change)

  • This study investigated trajectories of change in the career maturity of elementary school students and of attachment to parents and academic achievement as predictors of change. The 2844 participants were 1524 boys and 1320 girls in the Korea Youth Panel Survey. They were fourth graders in 2004 and became seventh graders in 2007. Latent growth curve modeling indicated that : (1) Trajectories of change in career maturity from fourth grade to seventh grade modeled quadratic growth. (2) Variance of career maturity in initial levels, linear slope and quadratic slope indicated individual differences intrajectories of change in career maturity. (3) Attachment to parents influenced initial levels of career maturity academic achievement influenced both initial levels and linear slope of career maturity.

초등학교 3학년 '혼합물의 분리' 단원에서 문제해결 과정을 강조한 수업 전략 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of Teaching Strategy Focused on Problem Solving Process in the 'Separation of Mixture' Unit of Third Grade Elementary School)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a teaching strategy focused on problem solving process and explore its effects on science creative problem solving ability, science process skills, science academic achievements and scientific attitudes of students after applying it. Teaching strategy focused on problem solving process employed brainstorming and PMI thinking strategies. The participants were the third grade students of both an experimental class(26 students) and a comparative class(25 students) at the S elementary school located in Goyang-City, Kyonggi Province. The developed strategy was applied to the experimental class for 9 periods of 'Separation of mixture' unit. The results of the tests on the science creative problem solving ability, the science process skills, scientific achievement and scientific attitude were statistically higher in the experimental class.

인기아와 비인기아에 대한 아동의 인식 발달 (Development of Children's Perceptions of Popular and Unpopular Peers)

  • This study examined the development of children's perceptions of popular and unpopular peers. Subjects were 784 children in kindergarten, $2^{nd}$, $4^{th}$, and $6^{th}$ grades. Research findings were that : (1)socio-metric popularity and perceived popularity correlated positively with athletic ability, academic ability, and prosocial behavior. Whereas two subtypes of aggression(physical aggression and relational aggression) correlated negatively with sociometric popularity, perceived popularity correlated positively with relational aggression in 6th grade. (2)Social behaviors consistently emerged across developmental periods as predictors of popularity. (3)Academic ability was an important characteristic of popular children. (4)Teachers' praise and punishment affected popularity in kindergarten and $2^{nd}$grade children, but peer effect was more important for $4^{th}$ and $6^{th}$graders.

초등학생의 스마트폰, 컴퓨터, TV 사용이 학습태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Elementary Students' Usage of Smartphone, Computer and TV on Academic Attitude)

  • This study analyzed the influences of elementary students' usage of smartphone, computer and TV on academic attitude. Of the subjects residing in the U city to target of 10 elementary schools from the fourth grade to sixth grade, 865 students were sampled. This research made a frequency analysis and reliability analysis of the obtained date using SPSS 21.0 program were used. Research results are as follows. First, in the smartphone, computer and TV usage status of elementary school, smartphone, computer and TV were used the high frequency with which almost every commonly used, was found to be necessary to take advantage of the time to less than one hour a day, mostly alone, it has been found that a lot of online games, videos and SNS. Second, the use of smartphone, computer and TV were showed a significant effect on all sub-variables of open, self-concept, initiative, responsibility, learning enthusiasm, future orientation, creativity, self-assessment.

대학도서관 이용자의 도서관불안 측정과 분석 (Measurement and Analysis of the Library Anxiety among Academic Library Users)

  • 대학도서관 이용자의 도서관불안을 측정하여 분석하기 위하여, A대학교 도서관이용자를 체계적으로 표집하여 설문조사(LAS)를 수행하였다. 707명의 도서관이용자로부터 수집된 데이터의 기초통계를 분석하여 불안의 정도를 파악하고 선행연구 결과와 비교하였으며, 성별, 학년, 전공계열, 도서관방문빈도, 도서관이용교육과 도서관불안과의 관계를 분석하였다. 도서관불안을 나타내는 LAS 점수는 2.55점이고, 성별, 학년별, 전공계열별로 차이가 있다. 도서관이용교육은 도서관직원으로 인한 도서관불안을 감소시키며, 도서관방문빈도의 증가에 따라 도서관불안이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 정서적 장벽으로 인한 불안은 학년이 높고, 도서관방문빈도가 증가할수록 감소되는 것으로 나타났다. 분석 결과에 기초하여 도서관불안을 해소할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

5E 순환학습이 초등학생의 과학 학업 성취도와 탐구 능력 및 과학적 태도에 미치는 효과 (Effects of 5E Learning-Cycle Model on Science Academic Achievements, Science Process Skill and Scientific Attitude of Elementary School Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of academic achievements, science process skill and scientific attitude. The subjects of this study were 68 fourth-grade elementary school students who were 33 students for the 5E learning cycle instruction and 35 students for traditional instruction. The control group was taught with traditional teaching method, while the experimental group was taught 'the change to the volume of material due to heat' unit of 4th grade with the developed learning cycle model. The results were as fellows: First, the learning cycle instruction is more effective for understanding of a concept related to the change to the volume of material due to heat. Second, the learning cycle model seems more effective for the expansion of both scientific inquiry ability and scientific attitude.

중ㆍ고 여학생의 교복 만족도와 치수적합성에 관한 연구 - 동복을 중심으로 - (A Study on Middle & High School Girls’ Satisfaction and Appropriateness of the Current Sizing System for Their Fall and Winter School Uniform)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide information on how to improve both the satisfaction and the current sizing system for the school uniform focused on middle and high school girls' students. For the satisfaction of their school uniform, there were statistical significance by the academic year in jacket design, blouse color, and skirt design in the case of middle school girls'. On the other hand, high school girls' evaluation of school uniform was significantly different in jacket color, jacket design, blouse color, textile of blouse, skirt color, and skirt design by the academic year. For the assessment of wearing motion, there was no significant difference by the grade in both middle school and high school girls'. However, it was shown more frequency of discomfort than that of comfort. For the evaluation of sizing fitness, the breadth of sleeve in jacket and the width of blouse were statistical significance in middle school girls' by the grade while the width of jacket, he breadth of sleeve in jacket, the length of blouse, the width of blouse and length of sleeve in blouse were different in high school students by the grade.

진로탐색 프로그램이 간호대학생의 진로탐색효능감과 진로탐색행동 및 진로결정수준에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Career Search Programs on Career Search Efficacy, Career Search Behavior and Career Decision Making in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to test the effect of a Career Search Program on career search efficacy, career search behavior, and career decision making for nursing students. Methods: A non-equivalent pre-post test of a quasi-experimental design was used. Fifty first grade nursing students participated in the study with 22 in the experimental group and 28 in the control group. We used a Career Search Program which was held 6 times over 6 weeks, 90 minutes per session. Descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2$-test, and independent t-test were used for statistical analysis with SPSS 19.0. Results: There were significant increases in career search efficacy (t=2.07, p=.044) and career search behavior(t=2.65, p=.011) in the experimental group compared to the control group. However, career decision making was not significantly changed (t=0.96, p=.342). Conclusion: These results suggest that a Career grade Search Program has an effect on increasing career search efficacy and career search behavior in first grade nursing students. In addition, more programs to impact career decision making should be developed for nursing college students.

초, 중, 고등학생의 성지식에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Influencing Factors on Sexual Knowledge among Elementary, Middle, and High School Students)

  • Purpose: This study investigated sexual knowledge, its related factors, and the needs of sex education among elementary, middle, and high school students in order to develop a sex education program. Method: The participants comprised 721 students in grades 5 through 12, from Seoul and the Kyeonggi-do area, in South Korea. Data was collected from the end of August through the end of September 2014, using an anonymous self-administered questionnaire. SPSS Statistics 21.0 was used for the descriptive analysis, chi-square, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regressions. Results: Higher-grade students had a higher level of sexual knowledge than lower-grade students, but the overall level of sexual knowledge was low. Multivariate analysis showed that gender, grade, school record, and experiences of sex education from family and school were significant predictors of sexual knowledge among adolescents. Coping skills related to sexual crisis situations was the most wanted content of sex education. Conclusion: The results of this study suggested that it is important to develop a sex education program that considers the needs of sex education among adolescents. Also, it is important to periodically perform a survey to identify the need of sex education among elementary, middle, and high school students.
