Knowledge Extraction from Academic Journals Using Data Mining Techniques

  • 최근 우리는 인접학문 간 그리고 학계와 산업계간의 연구협조가 점차 증가하고 있음을 보아오고 있다. 이러한 현상은 특히 학술저널 간 지식의존성을 촉진하는 계기를 제공하고 있다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 관련저널 간 지식상호 의존성을 규명하고 저널지식의 구조화를 위하여 연관성 (association), 군집화, 링크분석 등 데이터마이닝 기법을 적용하는 방법론을 제시하는 것이다. 제시된 방법을 통하여 기대되는 점들은 1) 논문의 기본 속성인 키워드, 저자, 그리고 인용데이터를 통합하는 규칙 집합을 통하여 논문지식검색기능의 향상, 2) 키워드를 기반으로 관련 저널 간 그리고 저널내부의 군집분석으로 지식동향 파악, 3) Kleinberg (1999)의 권위와 허브 개념을 인용데이터 분석에 활용하여 기존의 양적 평가 기준인 영향력지수 (impact factor)의 문제점을 보완하며, 4) 특정 논문이나 저널의 지식파급과 관련한 영향력을 산출하는 잠재적 지식파급 지수를 제안하는 것이다.

The Types and Management of Differentiating Consumption depends on the social class of Korean consumers

  • This paper presents two social and academic studies on the boundary between cultural production and consumption. The first line of the study on cultural omnivore analyzes the choice of heterogeneous audiences in the face of various cultural offerings. The second line is a study of market categories, which analyzes the responses of peer audiences to objects with different levels of category code compliance. As such, this paper developed a heterogeneous audience model to evaluate objects of different types. This allows us to consider two dimensions of cultural preference: diversity and orientation of selection. To this end, this paper proposes a new analytical frame work to map consumption behavior on these two dimensions. The results suggest that one type of target that values diversity and transformation is particularly resistant to those that span boundaries. We test this argument in the analysis of two large data sets on film and restaurant reviews. Overall, our findings can extend beyond cultural consumption. Outline variability of contextual individuals or individuals in the same situation can cross cultural boundaries even if they are not intentionally pursuing such hybridism.

XML-based EDI Document Processing System with Binary Format Mapping Rules

  • Recently, the magnitude of electronic data interchange (EDI) document processing for the handling of port logistics is abruptly being increased. The existing system processes EDI documents in a script mode, but due to a complicated script preparation procedure and low document processing efficiency, it cannot meet the demand as the usage flow of documents increases. In this paper, an EDI electronic document processing system was designed and implemented in a document scanner and mapper, which are binary form electronic document processing tools and do not require script files during the conversion of extensible markup language (XML)-based electronic documents. This new system has the merits of XML features during reading and writing with improved speed, usage convenience, and good portability on systems when compared to the conventional ones.

Design and Implementation of Scratch-based Science Learning Environment Using Non-formal Learning Experience

  • In this paper, we use scratch to design and develop non-formal learning experiences that are linked with contents of secondary science textbook to educational programs. The goal of this paper is to develop a convenient and interesting program for non-formal learning in a learning environment using various smart device. Theoretical approaches to mobile education, such as smartphones, and smart education support policies continue to lead to various research efforts. Although most of the smart education systems developed for students who have difficulty in academic performance are utilized, they are limited to general students. To solve the problem, the learning environment was implanted by combining the scratch, which is an educational programming that can be easily written. The science education program proposed in this paper shows the result of process of programming using ICT device using scratch programming. In the evaluation stage, we were able to display the creations and evaluate each other, so that we could refine them more by sharing the completed ideas.

A Design-Based Research on Application of Artificial Intelligence(AI) Teaching-Learning Model in Elementary School

  • Recently, artificial intelligence(AI) has been used throughout society, and social interest in it is increasing. Accordingly, the necessity of AI education is becoming a big topic in the education field. As a response to this trend, the Korean education authorities have also announced plans for AI education, and various studies have been performed in academic field to revitalize AI education in the future. However, the curriculum research on what differentiates AI education from existing SW education and what and how to train AI is still in its infancy. In this paper, Therefore, we focused on the experiences of elementary school students in solving problems in their own lives, and developed a teaching-learning model based on design-based research so that students can design a problem-solving process and experience the process of feedback. We applied the developed teaching-learning model to the problem-solving process and confirmed that it increased students' understanding and satisfaction with AI education.

Impact of Social Networks in Educational Media

  • This study aims to determine whether student participation on Twitter affects academic performance. The key goals of the training course were to acquire social networking knowledge and skills and to learn how to share information, be productive in discussions, and create an interest-based community. The initial sample comprised 286 students from Jordan universities, 68.4% of whom agreed to participate in the study. Undergraduate students accounted for 73.9%, and graduate students accounted for 26.1%. Only 14.3% of the students chose the Twitter-based learning model. This is a mixed-methods study that integrates quantitative and qualitative approaches. The undergraduate students were found to tweet more and have more likes, while graduate students had more followers and were following more accounts. Moreover, 21% of the participants were the most active. Spearman's correlation analysis revealed a connection between participation in social media and student performance. Therefore, the results of this study may help educational professionals and education managers.

중국관련학과의 경쟁력확보에 관한 연구 - 대학정보공시를 활용한 전국대학의 양적 분석을 중심으로 -

  • The rapid change in the university environment due to the decrease in the school-age population calls for enhancing the competitiveness of China-related departments. In this paper, the university's competitiveness and dropout rate were studied in combination with various factors such as geographical location of Chinese-related departments set up at national universities, convergence with other departments, competition rate for entrance exams, scholarships, and employment rate that have a comprehensive impact on student satisfaction. In particular, the dropout rate presented research results that could help universities strengthen their competitiveness in China-related departments, such as by differentiating customized academic strategies according to the atmosphere of elimination through multiple regression analysis and quantile analysis. We hope this thesis will be the basis for policymaking and judgment in China-related departments.

ACCELERATED HYBRID ALGORITHMS FOR NONEXPANSIVE MAPPINGS IN HILBERT SPACES

  • In this paper, we introduce and study two different iterative hybrid projection algorithms for solving a fixed point problem of nonexpansive mappings. The first algorithm is generated by the combination of the inertial method and the hybrid projection method. On the other hand, the second algorithm is constructed by the convex combination of three updated vectors and the hybrid projection method. The strong convergence of the two proposed algorithms are proved under very mild assumptions on the scalar control. For illustrating the advantages of these two newly invented algorithms, we created some numerical results to compare various numerical performances of our algorithms with the algorithm proposed by Dong and Lu [11].

경기북부 섬유패션산업 혁신을 위한 필요 정책요인 분석연구 (Study on Political Factors for Innovating Textile and Fashion Industry in Northern Gyeonggi Province)

  • 경기북부 지역 내 섬유패션산업은 23개 제조업종 중 가장 큰 비중(17.7%, 10인 이상 사업체 수 기준)을 차지하는 중추 기반산업이다. 하지만 소규모 공정별 임가공 업체가 대다수이고 최근 이 임가공업체에 오더를 주던 중대형 벤더의 해외이탈이 가속화됨에 따라 오더가 급감하고 있고 이로 인해 투자 감소로 이어지는 악순환 고리가 고착화되어 가고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 이러한 악순환 고리를 끊고 경기북부 섬유패션산업의 구조 고도화를 위한 정책요인을 분석하고 구체적 정책 제언을 위해. 각종 산업통계 데이터를 조사, 분석하여 관련 산업규모의 변화추이, 경영환경 변화 등을 파악한 결과와 관련 문헌조사 등의 선행연구결과 및 산 학 연 관 전문가의 의견조사를 바탕으로 AHP 연구모형(4개 계층, 36개 요소)을 설계하였고. 계층 간 및 계층 내 요인(요소)들 간 쌍대비교를 통해 상대적 중요도 및 우선순위를 도출하였다. 또한 이 연구모형 및 그 도출 결과를 반영한 섬유패션산업의 비전, 전략, 핵심과제 및 세부추진과제를 구체적으로 제안하여 본 연구결과의 유용성 및 활용성을 제고하였다.

미래 보건의료융합에 대비한 치과위생사의 4차 산업혁명에 관한 인식도 조사 (Awareness on 4th industrial revolution of dental hygienists for future medical convergence)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 미래 보건의료융합에 대비하여 치과위생사들을 대상으로 4차 산업혁명에 관한 인식도를 조사함으로써 급변하는 치과의료 현장을 대비하고자 한다. 연구대상은 대구지역 치과 병 의원에서 근무 중인 치과위생사 209명을 대상으로 2017년 8월 19일부터 9월 22일까지 설문조사하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 4차 산업혁명에 대한 치과위생사의 인식도 평균은 2.41로 비교적 낮았다. 항목별로 교육의지 2.87, 치과에 미칠 영향력 2.81, 인지정도 2.25이었고, 준비정도가 1.72로 가장 낮았다. 일반적인 특성에 따른 인식도에서 영향력은 연령과 근무기관이 유의한 차이를 보였고(p<0.05, p<0.001), 교육의지는 직급과 학위에서 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<0.05). 4차 산업혁명에 대한 인지정도와 영향력, 준비정도 및 교육의지와 관련성을 알아본 결과 모두 양의 상관관계(p<0.01)를 보여 인지정도가 높을수록 영향력, 준비정도, 교육의지가 높았다. 결론적으로 미래 보건의료융합을 대비하기 위해서는 치과위생사들에게 4차 산업혁명과 관련한 다양한 교육 프로그램 개발과 교육기회를 제공하여 첨단 의료기술에 대한 관심을 유도하고 인식을 변화시키는 것이 필요하다 사료된다.
