To find research that concentrated on the use of augmented reality to address issues with teaching abstract concepts, several international databases were examined. Thirty research, published between the years (2013-2022), were analyzed to determine the many functions of augmented reality in resolving issues with abstract notions. These studies discovered numerous roles, which are listed below. The use of augmented reality in the following areas: the simplification of abstract ideas, the embodiment of abstract ideas, the enrichment of examples of abstract ideas, the resolution of conceptual misunderstandings, the stimulation of interest in learning abstract ideas, and more, and the research ended with the presentation of the conclusions.

The purpose of the study was to find out design problems of grand chapel of the Protestant church and to set analysis frame based on theoretical study on abstract symbolism and investigate cases and to give reference of abstract symbolism expression of design of the chapel. The findings were as follow: Introduction of the light was found to be the most outstanding among abstract symbolic factors, and metaphor was commonly used to express abstract symbols. First, 1) Introduction of the light was found to be the most outstanding at application of abstract symbolic factor of modern Protestant church to be the highest among pastors, office bearers, believers and non-Christians. 2) The metaphor was found to be the most noticeable among abstract symbolic expressions. Second, the findings of questionnaire survey was: The findings of questionnaire of not only abstract symbolic expression factor but also symbolic expression method was not to cognize ideas of pastor, office bearers, believers and designers often. This was because abstract symbolism was made from point of view of designers. Therefore, abstract symbolic expression factors of grand chapel of modern Protestant church, for instance, effective introduction of the light, light quoting the Bible sayings, material, color and shapes, etc should be used with metaphor and symmetry to give Christians value of symbol and to hide meaning of symbolic values to non-Christians who do not know contents of the Bible.

Algebra is one of the important subjects that not only mathematics but many science major students should know at least at the elementary level. Unfortunately abstract algebra, specially, is seen as an extremely difficult course to learn. One reason of difficulties is because of its very abstract nature, and the other is due to the lecture method that simply telling students about mathematical contents. In this paper we study about the teaching and learning abstract algebra in universities in corporation of a programming language such as ISETL. ISETL is a language whose syntax closely imitates that of mathematics. In asking students to read and write code in ISETL before they learn in class, we observe that students can much understand and construct formal statements that express a precise idea. We discuss about the classroom activities that may help students to construct and internalize mathematical ideas, and also discuss about some barriers we might overcome.

The plastic arts is used when designers draw inspirations to create fashion design. The author referred to fashion magazines for designing ideas of Mondrian＇s geometrical abstract painting in practical applications used by designers in Paris, Italy, London and New York during the 10-year period(1991-2000). The collections of data were analyzed as following: ◇ Fashion Designing Idea 1. Matching Idea The art is reproduced in the design as how it is with no transformation. First, the painting＇s complete figure is reproduced on the entire or parts of clothing. Second, the painting＇s partial figure is reproduced on the entire or parts of clothing. 2. Contrasting Ideas The composition elements in Mondrian＇s geometrical abstract painting, for example, structures of shapes, vertical and horizontal lines and different colors are applied in the design. First, one particular shape in painting is transformed into different shape of square, circle or triangle and reproduced in designing. Second, one particular shape in painting is disassembled and then reshaped into different form in reproduction. Third, additional lines are put in to create different look from the original painting. Forth, existing lines are extended over the boundary to create different look from the original painting. Fifth, achromatic colors: black and white, and three basic colors: red, blue and yellow in the original painting are modified into different shades or color scheme is increased in broad range.

Korean students in English novel class read presentable papers about a novel, but if asked about some parts of the novel, they are helpless. How do they know the whole novel without knowing its parts? Because most Korean students cannot read through an English novel in a short time, they are awfully pressed with preparation for papers to be presented in the class. That makes their papers composed entirely of appropriated ideas from references. Being conscious of students' inability to read through a novel, some teachers select and read only some important parts or chapters of the novel. That makes students take a novel not as literary art, but as a prose work for abstract ideas. In order to solve the problem, I propose chapter analysis. Attentive reading new critics applied to poetry and short story is applicable to the chapter of a novel. Because no critic or scholar analyzes a novel chapter by chapter in his/her articles or books, students cannot wholly mosaic their papers with ideas from references. Chapter analysis will enable Korean students to interpret a novel with their own view point. This paper includes such sections as the theoretical background of fictional chapters, some items to be considered for chapter analysis in the class, and examples of analysis of a short story and two chapters from a novel.

Sophus Lie's research is regarded as one of the most important mathematical advancements in the $19^{th}$ century. His pioneering research in the field of differential equations resulted in an invaluable consolidation of calculus and group theory. Lie's group theory has been investigated and constantly modified by various mathematicians which resulted in a beautifully abstract yet concrete theory. However Lie's early intentions and ideas are lost in the mists of modern transfiguration. In this paper we explore Lie's early academic years and his object of studies which clarify the ground breaking ideas behind his theory.

In the 20th century, The artistic world was constantly producing new ideas and movements and the world of fashion responded to and reflected them all in greater of lesser degree. Dress designers have always been aware of what is happening In the arts and have always been able to use the discoveries and ideas of the artist to help them solve design problems and create fashion which are new, inventive and reflective of thier time. Up to the present, other researchers have investigated the connections between the fine arts and the Modern Fashion. In this respect, the objective of this research was to clarify the characteristics of painting of the Impressionism on the Modern Fashion. In order to investigate the relationship between the trend of painting and Modern Fashion. Especially, Impressionism's light and color affected both 20th's painting and other sorts of art. That is, the trend of the modern painting, Fauvism, Cubism, Surrealism, Abstract art, Abstract Expressionism, was influenced by Impressionism painting. Similarly, in the sihouette, line, color, fabric pattern of the Modem Fashion was represented characteristics of the Impressionism Painting. The fashion's Fauve, Paul Poiret was excited by the power of color in the same intense way as the 'wild beasts' of art. The color of his clothes during that period was bold and brilliant. Gabrielle Chanel simplified the shape of women's clothes to a square cardigan and rectangular skirt. This was a cubist concept. Art and fashion probably held hands closest in the 1930s, when Elsa Schiaparelli was creating clothes directly influenced by the Surrealist thinking of Salvador Dali. And she burst upon the fashion world with a sweater that had a trompe I'oeil bow. Soma Delaunay was one of great pioneers of Abstract in. She proceeded to mix strong and bright colors into her art and created the geometric and abstract patterns of the clothes and fabrics with her strong color. The influence of Abstract Expressionism was expressed the fabrics of the Modern Fashion. Some fabrics used in Modern Fashion are printed in a dripping pouring and splashing style. For the future, some futher research to investigate the art-fashion connection might involve establishing systematic classifications for silhouette, line, texture, color of the fashion. Moreover, in order to study the influence of fine art on the fashion, a broader approach might wish to analyze the relationship between painting and other plastic arts.

Since the greater part of mathematical concepts have been developed in the direction of “from the concrete and realistic aspects to the abstract level”, children should be secured to learn mathematics genetically with various manipulative materials. The aim of this study is to instigate the active use of geoboards in mathematics classroom. To achieve this arm, we first embodied the several significances on the use of geoboards in mathematics instruction. And we then performed an instruction that children discover and justify the formula related to the area of trapezoid by exploring with geoboards, and analyzed the instructional episode to support our assertion about some secure merit accompanied by using geoboards. From this study, we obtained the conclusion that geoboard activity contains many significances such as children can explore congruence, symmetry, similarity, fundamental properties of figures, and pattern. Futhermore, geoboard activity enable children to transform a figure into other equivalently, develop spatial sense, have basic experiences for coordinate geometry, build a concrete model to explain abstract ideas, and foster the ability of problem solving and mathematical thinking.

The purpose of this study is to present the suitable material that can be a real help to make the creativity development teaching method for creative inspirations of fashion design. To achieve these goals, researched and analyzed the creativity studies in the fields of psychology, education, and design (visual design, product design, fashion design, etc.) published in the national journal. Through this analysis, were extracted the characteristics of creativity, teaching methods for creativity learning, and expression methods. Based on this, intend to provide the creativity characteristic, the expression method, and the problem solving process in teaching methods for promoting fashion design ability. After the analysis, the results are as follows; First, the classical 4P (Place, Person, Process, Product) is important to a creativity development teaching method for fashion design. The elements of creativity of a creativity development teaching method for fashion design are 5elements; curiosity, openness, originality, patience, and synthetic ability. Second, the typical method is a drawing (such as a sketch) when visually express and embody ideas in fashion design. Drawing is an important activity that is working with the right brain and the left brain. Drawing exercises will reduce the burden of expressing ideas, providing pleasure and fulfillment in the development of creative ideas. Third, offered 5stages to solve problems of a creativity development teaching method for fashion design; understanding stage, idea stage, visualization stage, evaluation stage, and verification stage. Abstract intangible ideas are concreted and elaborated through stages of visual manifestation such as language, symbol, and drawing.

In this study, the use of abstraction has been considered, focusing on the abstract metaphoric expressions presented in Animatrix and it has a purpose as the case study in the use of abstraction as a unique element of animation in which imaginative ideas and stimuli are significantly important and the pioneering works of abstract animations were produced in the early 20th century. The abstract metaphors expressed in The Second Renaissance Part1 & Part2 and Matriculated among the episodes of Animatrix, the animation produced in the omnibus form directed by Wachowski Brothers and great Master in the world, can be analyzed into Anima of Abstraction abstractively expressing organic vital power, Extensity of Abstraction which 4D space is realized possibly recognizing the human emotions as well as 3D space, and Conceptualization of Abstraction directly presenting the human mentality and imaginary world.
