Absolute Lorenz curve plays an important role for measuring absolute income inequality. Properties of absolute Lorenz curve are listed. Asymptotically distribution free and consistent tests have been proposed for comparing two absolute Lorenz curves in the whole interval [P1, P2] where 0 < P1 < P2 < 1. Absolute Lorenz ordering has been discussed for some distributions.

1. Objectives The purpose of study is to find Lee Je-Ma's thoughts about Great Absolute-Mind in his writings. 2. Methods the concept of Lee Je-Ma's Great Absolute-Mind versus preexisted Great Absolute-Mind is compared and analysed in this study. 3. Results and Conclusions (1) Lee Je-Ma composed his Great Absolute-Mind based on its concept of the science of divination, Confucianism and medicine. However his Great Absolute-Mind is rooted in preexisted meaning, it was disputed desides the controversy between the science of divination, Confucianism and medicine. For this reason, Lee Je-Ma's Great Absolute-Mind is such an originative concept unable to be explained with a simple substitution this concept for the preexisted one of the science of divination, Confucianism and medicine. (2) Lee Je-Ma's Great Absolute-Mind is the human being itself and it can include the humanity from human being itself. (3) There are not only physical meaning of heart but also abstract metaphysical concept of heart included in Lee Je-Ma's Great Absolute-Mind. (4) The talent for comprehending principles is organically connected with the ability to attain their will. And the talent and ability is devided into Two Modes(兩儀) like Mind & Body(心身), Perception & Action(知行) and Nature & Emotion(性情). (5) The supervision of Lee Je-Ma’s Great Absolute-Mind affects physical part of body as well as spiritual part and is not devided into two but one. (6) The source of the supervision is rooted on Lungs Spleen liver Kidney(肺脾肝腎), Sasang(四象), even though it exists in the Great Absolute-Mind. So Sasang(四象), which is Lungs Spleen Liver Kidney(肺脾肝腎), is organically related to the Great Absolute-Mind in its effect and origin.

We have confirmed the phototoxicity of orange flower absolute, studied the phototoxic ingredient and developed a method to eliminate it. To confirm the phototoxicity, we tested French orange flower absolute, Moroccan absolute and Egyptian absolute with Hartley strain guinea Pig under UV irradiation ranging from 320400 nm supplied with fluorescent lamps. Using a combination of isolation techniques including HPLC and IR, we were able to confirm that the phototoxic agent was bergapten. The development of a non-phototoxic orange flower absolute using ion exchange chromatography is described.

In the present paper, absolute matrix summability of infinite series is studied. A new theorem concerning absolute matrix summability factors, which generalizes a known theorem dealing with absolute Riesz summability factors of infinite series, is proved using almost increasing and ${\delta}$-quasi-monotone sequences. Also, a result dealing with absolute $Ces{\grave{a}}ro$ summability is given.

For the establishing gravity base station and the improving the precision of exiting gravity network, and getting the gravity acceleration value in Korea, the absolute gravity measurements have been conducted at Daejeon(KRISS) from October 8 to November 8, 1996 with the NIM-II Absolute gravimeter and Suwon(NGI) from December 10 to December 16, 1999 with the FG5 Absolute gravity meter. The each absolute gravity value measured at KRISS and at NGI is 979,829.609${\pm}$0.006 mGal from 353 dropes and 979,918.775${\pm}$0.0001 mGal from a total 14,346 dropes. I think that we need the many base Absolute gravity station for the activation of the Earth science.

The purpose of this paper is to provide two levels of conceptualization of a category such as an absolute category in semantic level and a relative category in pragmatic level on the basis of Aristotelian category theory and prototype category theory. I do not intend to criticize classical category theory and prototype category theory but to show that these two types of category are applied to the different world. Aristotelian categorization is an absolute category because it is based on the possible world called the meta-world and it has an absolute truth value. The members of an absolute category is presented as a set. There is a clear boundary between members and non-members because they are distinguished by the absolute criteria An absolute category is semantic conceptualization. This absolute category is changed into a relative category when it is applied in the real world. A relative category which corresponds to a prototype category is based on the real world called the object world and it has a relative truth value. Here individuals are categorized by the cognition and perception of human beings. A relative category is pragmatic conceptualization. In conclusion, while classical categories which are called absolute categories represent sentence meaning, prototype categories which are called relative categories represent utterance meaning.

Recently a new signal processing algorithm for white light interferometry was presented. In this paper, the proposed signal processing algorithm was applied for absolute temperature measurement using white light interferometry. Stability testing and absolute temperature measurement were demonstrated. Stability test demonstrated the feasibility of absolute temperature measurement with an accuracy of 0.015 fringe. The test also showed that the absolute temperature measurement system using white light interferometry is capable of obtaining the theoretical minimum detectable change (0.0005 fringe), which is consistent with the performance predicted by the proposed signal processing algorithm.

The absolute longitudinal speed of a vehicle is estimated by using vehicle acceleration data from an accelerometer and wheel speed data from standard 50-tooth antiknock braking system wheel speed sensors. An intuitive solution to this problem is, "When wheel slip is low, calculate absolute velocities from the wheel speeds; when wheel slip is high, calculate absolute velocity by integrating the accelerometer." Fuzzy logic is introduced to implement the above idea and a new algorithm of "modified velocities with step integration" is proposed. This algorithm is verified experimentally to estimate speed of a vehicle, and is also shown to estimate absolute longitudinal vehicle speed with a 6% worst-case error during a hard braking maneuver lasting three seconds.

Time-mean and absolute geostrophic velocities of the Kuroshio current south of Japan are derived from TOPEX/Poseidon altimeter data using a Gaussian jet model. When compared with simultaneous measurements from a shipboard acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP) at two intersection points, the altimetric and ADCP absolute velocities correlate well with the correlation of 0.55 to 0.74. The time-mean velocity is accurate to 1 cm s$^{-1}$ to 5 cm s$^{-1}$. The errors in the absolute and the mean velocities are similar to those reported previously far other currents. The comparable performance suggests the Gaussian jet model is a promising methodology for determining absolute geostrophic velocities, noting that in this region the Kuroshio does not meander sufficiently, which provides unfavorable environment for the performance of the Gaussian jet model.
