다층 글라스세라믹 유전체의 결정화특성에 관한 연구 (Properties of Multilayer Glass-Ceramic Dielectrics)

  • Crystallizable glasses with precipitation of celsian were prepared for the purpose of insulating dielectric layers for the devices such as integrated circuit substrates. Crystallization behavior of these glasses were studied by DTA, SEM, XRD analysis and by the measurement of dielectric properties. The base composition of the glass-ceramic consists in weight percent of 30% SiO2, 10% Al2O3, 26% BaO, 10% CaO, 10% ZnO, 8%TiO2 and 6% B2O3. 2-6 wt% Y2O3 were selected as the nucleating agent to promote monoclinic celsian formation. As a result, in barium-rich glasses containing 4~6wt% Y2O3 , monoclinic celsian was developed as major crystalline phase in the temperature range of 850~90$0^{\circ}C$. Also, the dielectric constant and quality factor of these glass-ceramics were about 9 and more than 1000, respectively.

  • $GeO_2$/ormosil organic-inorganic hybrid films doped with neodymium ions and $TiO_2$/Ormosil organic-inorganic hybrid films dispersed with neodymium oxide nanocrystals are prepared by combining an inverse microemulsion technique and a low-temperature sol-gel technique. The effects of $Nd^{3+}$ concentration, $Nd_2O_3$ nanocrystal content, and heat treatment temperature on up-conversion and photoluminescence luminescence properties of the hybrid films are studied.

  • Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were grown on Ni-coated TiN/Si substrate by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition using mixture gas of $H_2/CH_4$ at low temperature of 500 $^{\circ}C$. Average diameter of CNTs could be easily controlled by $H_2$ plasma pretreatment time before CNTs growth. The turn-on voltages of CNT emitters were varied from 3.5 $V/{\mu}m$ to 9 $V/{\mu}m$ according to the hydrogen pretreatment conditions. The close relationship between electron emission characteristics and pretreatment time indicates that pretreatment condition can be a key process parameter in CNTs growth for field emission displays..

  • 본 논문에서는 고속데이터 전송을 위한 CDMA 모뎀를 구현하였다. 데이터율 1Mbps의 트래픽 5채널에 직교부호를 곱하여 채널을 구분한 후 하나의 채널로 처리하였다. I,Q로 입력된 신호는 복소 곱셈기에서 칩 레이트 8Mcps로 OCQPSK(또는 HPSK) 변조하였다. 복조기는 I,Q의 신호를 역확산한 후 직교부호를 다시 곱하여 각 채널의 데이터를 분리한다. 변복조기의 구현은 클럭 속도 167MHz의 부동 소수점형 프로세서인 TI사의 TMS320C6701 DSP(Digital Signal Processor)를 사용하었고, long code 및 I,Q 채널 PN 코드는 IMT-2000 동기방식과 비동기방식의 규격에 정의된 2가지의 PN코드 발생기를 모두 구현하였다.

  • [ $(Ba,Sr,Ca)TiO_3$ ] powders, prepared by the sol-gel method, were mixed with organic vehicle and the BSCT thick films were fabricated by the screen printing techniques on alumina substrates. The dielectric properties were investigated for various composition ratio and $Nb_2O_5$ doping contents. All the BSCT thick films, sintered at $1420^{\circ}C$, showed the typical XRD patterns of a perovskite polycrystalline structure. The Curie temperature and the relative dielectric constant decreased with increasing Ca content and $Nb_2O_5$ doping amount. The relative dielectric constant, dielectric loss and tunability of the BSCT(50/40/10) thick films doped with 1.0wt% $Nb_2O_5$ were 1410, 0.65% and 17.29% respectively.

스트레인게이지법을 이용한 동적응력확대계수 평가 (Evaluation on dynamic stress intensity factor using strain gage method)

  • Strain gage method is used to evaluate the mode I dynamic stress intensity factor of marging steel(18Ni) and titanium alloy(Ti-6A1-4V). To decide the best strain gage position on specimen, static fracture toughness test was performed. Then instrumented charpy impact test and dynamic tensile test was performed by using strain gage method for evlauating dynamic stress intensity factor. Strain gage signals on the crack tip region are used to calculate the stress intensity factors. It is found that strain gage method is more useful than method by using load which is obtained from impact tup to assess dynamic characteristics such as dynamic stress intensity factor.

  • In this study, the reaction at UBM(Under Bump Metallurgy) and solder interface was investigated. The UBM employed in conventional optical packages, Au/Pt/Ti layer, were found to dissolve into molten Au-Sn eutectic solder during reflow soldering. Therefore, the reaction with different diffusion barrier layer such as Fe, Co, Ni were investigated to replace the conventional Pt layer. The reaction behavior was investigated by reflowing the solder on the pad of the metals defined by Cr layer for 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 minutes at $330^{\circ}C$. Among the metals, Co was found to be most suitable for the diffusion barrier layer as the wettability with the solder was reasonable and the reaction rate of intermetallic formation at the interface is relatively slow.

열처리한 합금공구강의 절삭에서 공구파손의 특성 (Fracture Characteristics of Cutting Tools in Machining of Hardened Alloy Steel)

  • The fracture characteristics and tool life of ceramics and WC, CBN cutting tool when turning heat treated steel STD11($H_RC$ 60) were investigated experimentally to clarify the machinability and optimum tool materials in cutting of difficult-to-cut material with high hardness. Forthermore, the behaviors of the tool wear and failure were examined with regard to cutting force. The hardened steel wore the cutting tool edge rapidily and increased the cutting forces, especially radial force. The tool was worn by the abrasive action. Flank Weat of $Al_2O_3-TiC$ ceramic and WC tool become relatively large and CBN & $Al_2O_3$, ceramic tool had a long life among the tool materials tested. The tool fracture patterns were just like minor cutting wear, flank wear, crater wear, notch wear, chipping. Flank wear rate was accelerated by occurrence of chipping. During the proceeding of machining, it was possible to foresee the catastrophic fracture of tool by abrupt increase of radial force.
