IPM 스위칭 소자를 적용한 AC 전동차 추진제어장치 (Converter/Inverter) 개발 (Development of AC Electric Vehicle Propulsion System (Converter/Inverter) using IPM Switching Device)

  • 본 논문은 현재까지 전적으로 수입에 의존하던 국내 교류 전동차용 추진제어장치(Converter/Inverter)를 대용량 IPM 스위칭 소자를 적용하여 개발된 시스템을 제안한다. 컨버터의 용량을 향상시키기 위해 2대의 PWM 컨버터를 병렬 운전하고 병렬 운전 시 각각의 컨버터 스위칭 각을 다르게 제어하여 고조파 함유를 줄였으며 DC-Link 단의 Beatless 제어를 수행하였다. VVVF 인버터 제어의 경우, 저속의 운전영역에서는 순시 토크 제어가 가능한 백터제어를 적용하고, 고속 운전 영역에서는 슬립 주파수제어를 적용하는 백터 제어와 스칼라 제어의 병용 제어기법을 제시하였다. 제시된 추진제어장치는 4대의 210kW 유도전동기를 이용하여 철도차량용 추진제어장치에 적용되는 관련 규격의 각종 시험을 통해 그 성능을 검증하였다.

  • In the vector controlled induction machine drives, mechanical speed sensors such as shaft encoder and resolver have been used. However, the mechanical speed sensors present some problems and restrict the wide applications of high performance AC drives. This paper describes the vector strategy with the speed estimation algorithm in which motor slip frequency is calculated. Also, the angle deviation of the rotor flux vector is calculated and instantaneously compensated to keep the q axis flux zero in the rotational reference frame.

  • In recent years, a.c servo motors have been gradually replacing d.c sevo motors in various high-performance demanded aplications such as machine tools and industrial robots. In particular, the high-performance slip-frequency control of an induction motor, which is often called the vector control, is considered one of the best a.c drive. In this paper, the transient state equation and vector control algrithms of an induction motor are described mathematically by using the two-axis theory(d-q coordinates). According to the result of these algorithms, we scheme the speed control system for an induction type ac servo motor in which vector control is adopted to give tha a.c motor high performance. Motor drive is a PWM inverter using power MOS-FET, and is controlled in order to let the actual input current of the motor track the current reference obtained from a microcomputer(8086 cpu). Driving experiments are performed in the range of 0 to 3000 rpm, and it is verified that high speed response is possible.

  • In recent years, a.c servomotors have been gradually replacing d.c servomotors in various high-performance applications such as machine tools and industrial robots. Inparticular, the high performance slip-frequency control of an induction motor, which is often called the vector control, is considered ane of th ebest a.c drives.   • In this paper, closed loop V/f control of induction motor has been implemented by the estimated speed. Closed loop V/f control improve the performance of induction motor drive system at low speed compared to open loop V/f control. However, closed loop V/f control need speed sensor. By using the estimated speed, closed loop V/f control is possible without speed sensor. Rotor speed is calculated from the difference between synchronous frequency and slip angular frequency. 3-phase voltage reference is obtained from synchronous frequency. And the PWM technique using space vector PWM is applied in this scheme. In the space vector PWM, effective time of 3-phase voltage reference is used to simplify the calculation of effective voltage time. This scheme is simple to implement and one chip microprocessor was used in experimental system.

  • The induction motor is represented by nonlinear equations whose parameters are changing with respect to the slip-frequency, temperature, etc. The slip-frequency is effected by unknown load which is difficult to estimate on-line. Astable vector controller is designed with direct MRAC to improve the quality of the transient response. The unknown load is considered in this speed controller design, and tested by simulation. Also a flux controller is designed and tested to reduce the audible noise in this paper.

  • This paper proposes a new overmodulation strategy to give a better voltage utilization by tracking voltage vector along hexagon sides. This strategy enables the inverter to control both magnitude and angle of current. Therefore, the vector control using this strategy can lead to better output torque dynamics compared to the conventional slip frequency control with six-step voltage, which is widely used in the traction drive. In this strategy, the d-axis output voltage of a current controller to control the flux is conserved and the q-axis output voltage to control the torque is controlled to place the voltage vector on the hexagon boundary In case of overmodulation. The limited q-axis voltage is used for anti-windup of q-axis current controller. This paper also presents a new field weakening scheme which incorporate the proposed overmodulation strategy. In this scheme, the flux level is selected by both required current limit and the available maximum voltage along hexagon sides. The validity of the proposed overall scheme is confirmed by the computer simulations for a typical traction drive with a 210[㎾] induction motor.

  • 본 논문에서는 TMS320C32 DSP를 사용하여 저속에서 구동되는 반송용 펀측식 전행 유도전동기의 슬립 각 주파수에 의한 벡터제어를 이용하여 추력제어하였다. 먼저, 반송용 편촉식 선형 유도전동기를 설계 및 제작하고, 이를 해석하였다. 저속에서 제풍의 운반시에 안정성있은 구동올 위해서 벡터제어에 의한 추력제어를 하였고, 정위치 제어를 하기 워해서 Ziegles- Nichols법을 이용하여 PiD제어기를 설계하였다. 저속에셔의 종량부하흘 갖는 반송용 선형기기에서 PID제어기에 추력제어가 가능한 벡터제어기법을 부가한 결과는 제품외 운반시에 안정성있는 구동을 하였으며, 정위치제어를 위한빠른 응답특쟁 및 soft start/stop을 이루었으며, 부하 변동시에도 제동시에 정위치제어를 위한 빠른 응탑 특성의 결과를 얻었다.

  • Linear induction motor(LIM) have static and dynamic end effects due to its finite core length, so that per-phase impedances are asymmetric and the air gap flux distribution is distorted. So, this paper propose the d-q axis equivalent circuit and vector control method considering both static and dynamic end effects of the LIM. This vector control method consists of the slip frequency control, the time-invariant control and decoupling control. As a result, it is shown that the results of equivalent circuit method have a goof agreement with the results of finite element method.
