유도결합 플라즈마(ICP) Sputtering에 의한 평판 디스플레이(FPD)용 ITO 박막의 저온 증착 (Low Temperature Deposition of ITO Thin Films for Flat Panel Displays by ICP Assisted DC Magnetron Sputtering)

  • Indium tin oxide (ITO) is widely used to make a transparent conducting film for various display devices and opto-electric devices. In this study, ITO films on glass substrate were fabricated by inductively coupled plasma (ICP) assisted dc magnetron sputtering. A two-turn rf coil was inserted in the process chamber between the substrate and magnetron for the generation of ICP. The substrates were not heated intentionally. Subsequent post-annealing treatment for as-deposited ITO films was not performed. Low-temperature deposition technique is required for ITO films to be used with heat sensitive plastic substrates, such as the polycarbonate and acrylic substrates used in LCD devices. The surface roughness of the ITO films is also an important feature in the application of OLEDs along with the use of a low temperature deposition technique. In order to obtain optimum ITO thin film properties at low temperature, the depositions were carried out at different condition in changing of Ar and $O_2$ gas mixtures, ICP power. The electrical, optical and structural properties of the deposited films were characterized by four-point probe, UV/VIS spectrophotometer, atomic force microscopy(AFM) and x-ray diffraction (XRD). The electrical resistivity of the films was -l0$^{-4}$ $\Omega$cm and the optical transmittance in the visible range was >85%. The surface roughness ( $R_{rms}$) was -20$\AA$.>.

  • 이 논문은 콘콜릭 테스팅을 특화한 목적 지향 테스트 데이터 생성 방법을 제안한다. GCT(Goal-oriented Concolic Testing)라 불리는 제안된한 특정 목표를 실행하는 테스트 입력을 생성한다. 콘콜릭 테스팅은 요구되는 테스트 입력을 발견할 때 까지 모든 가능한 경로 공간을 탐색하는 브루트 포스 방식으로 간주할 수 있다. 대조적으로 GCT는 자료 흐름 정보를 활용하여 목표가 실행되기 위해 먼저 수행되어야 하는 문장들을 식별하여 탐색되는 프로그램 경로의 수를 제한한다. 플래그 변수가 있는 실험을 통해 GCT의 효과성을 보인다.

  • 정보통신 환경의 급변과 더불어 정보 사회의 기반이 되는 네트워크도 다양한 기술의 발전과 더불어 기존의 고정된 형태에서 벗어나 대용량의 다양한 데이터를 유연하게 전송할 수 있는 능동 가변형으로 진화하고 있다. 더불어 다양한 사용자들의 요구사항을 반영하기 위해 차세대 전달망은 DWDM 전송 시스템과 OXC 로 재구성이 쉬운 동적인 망을 형성하고, 이후에 ROADM/PXC를 기반으로 하는 동적으로 망을 관리하고 제어할 수 있는 GMPLS 기술을 도입하여 망을 운용하는 형태로 발전하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 차세대 네트워크에서 경로계산을 위해 IETF 제안한 Path Computation Element (PCE) 프로토콜을 구현하기 위한 전체 S/W 구성 및 기능 블록들을 제안하였고, 상위 계층에서 PCE 프로토콜을 사용할 때 필요한 API를 제안하였다.

초음파를 이용한 초임계 이산화탄소 에멀젼내 Ni 전해도금 (Ni Electroplating in the Emulsions of Supercritical $CO_2$ Formed by Ultrasonar)

  • Emulsions were formed through putting small quantity of nickel electroplating solution into supercritical carbon dioxide, and then electroplating in the $sc-CO_2$ emulsions was conducted. It is an environmental-friendly technology that can solve the treatment of a large quantity of toxic plating wastewater, which is a big problem in the existing wet plating, and also can reduce secondary waste generation fundamentally. Supercritical carbon dioxide emulsions enhanced by ultrasonic horn were formed by non-ionic surfactant and nickel solution. Plating condition within emulsions was set up as 120bar and $55^{\circ}C$ through measurement of electrical conductivity following the pressure change. Experiments were conducted respectively against supercritical carbon dioxide emulsions electroplating and general chemical electroplating, and then their results were compared and analyzed. As the experiment result utilizing emulsions, plating surface was formed very evenly even with a small quantity of electroplating solution, and fine particles were plated compactly without any pinhole or crack due to hydrogenation, which occurs in general electroplating. Used electroplating solution can be reused through recovery process. Therefore, this technology will be able to be applied as new clean technology in electro-plating.

배터리없는 무선 스위치를 위한 에너지 하베스팅 메커니즘의 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of Energy Harvesting Mechanism for Batteryless Wireless Switch)

  • 산업현장에서 사용되는 무선 비상호출 스위치의 성공적인 운영을 위해서는 지속적인 전원의 공급이 이루어져야 한다. 본 논문은 배터리가 필요 없는 무선 스위치에 적용할 수 있는 전자기 유도방식의 초소형 에너지 하베스팅 메커니즘 개발 및 구현된 메커니즘의 성능 실험 결과를 보여주고 있다. 연구결과로 단 방향 누름 동작과 2mm 이동거리의 제한조건 내에서, 유도기전력을 생성하는 새로운 메커니즘이 제시됐다. 또한, 구현된 메커니즘의 전자기 유도 발전 출력 성능 실험결과로 VDC $4.5V{\pm}25%$(도달시간 1.2msec), 2.5V 이상 전압의 발전시간이 65ms가 됨을 보여주고 있다.

  • Water electrolysis technology, which generates hydrogen using renewable energy resources, has recently attracted great attention. Especially, the polymer electrolyte membrane water electrolysis system has several advantages over other water electrolysis technologies, such as high efficiency, low operating temperature, and optimal operating point. Since research that analyzes performance characteristics using test bench have high cost and long test time, however, model based approach is very important. Therefore, in this study, a system model for water electrolysis dynamics of a polymer electrolyte membrane was developed based on MATLAB/Simulink®. The water electrolysis system developed in this study can take into account the heat and mass transfer characteristics in the cell with the load variation. In particular, the performance of the system according to the stack temperature control can be analyzed and evaluated. As a result, the developed water electrolysis system can analyze water pump dynamics and hydrogen generation according to temperature dynamics by reflecting the dynamics of temperature.

암반강도 및 압입깊이에 따른 디스크커터의 최적간격 산정을 위한 개별요소법 기반 수치해석 연구 (A numerical study on the optimum spacing of disc cutters considering rock strength and penetration depth using discrete element method)

  • 디스크커터의 간격을 최적화하는 것은 TBM 커터헤드의 설계의 핵심요소로, TBM의 굴진성능을 좌우한다. 실대형 선형절삭시험은 디스크커터의 간격 산정을 위해 가장 신뢰성 및 정확도가 높은 시험으로 알려져 있으나 실대형 실험을 위해 경제적 및 시간적 비용이 소요되는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 개별요소법 기반의 수치해석 연구를 통해 암반의 일축압축강도 및 압입깊이에 따른 비에너지-S/P비 간의 경향성을 분석하였고, 17인치 디스크커터의 최적 간격을 도출하였다. 수치해석모델의 적정성을 검토하기 위하여 디스크커터에 작용되는 회전력을 CSM 모델과 비교·검토하였다. 선형절삭시험에 대한 수치해석 결과, 디스크커터에 작용되는 회전력은 CSM 모델의 이론식으로부터 도출한 회전력과 유사한 것으로 분석되었다. 5가지(50 MPa, 70 MPa, 100 MPa, 150 MPa, 200 MPa)의 일축압축강도에 대한 수치해석 결과, 암반강도가 증가할수록 디스크커터의 최적간격의 범위는 감소하는 경향을 보였으며 80~100 mm범위에서 최소 비에너지를 보이는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는, 기존에 보고된 디스크커터의 최적 간격과 일치되는 경향으로써, 본 연구를 통해 산정된 디스크커터 간격을 밑받침한다.

두 개의 스튜어트 플랫폼을 이용한 병렬형 신 압연기의 조작성 해석 (Manipulability Analysis of a New Parallel Rolling Mill Based upon Two Stewart Platforms)

  • The manipulability analysis of the parallel-type rolling mill proposed in Hong et al. [1] is re-visited. The parallel rolling mill uses two Stewart platforms in opposite direction for the generation of 6 degree-of-freedom motions of each roll. The objective of this new parallel rolling mill is to permit an integrated control of the strip thickness, strip shape, pair crossing angle, uniform wear of rolls, and tension of the strip. New forward/inverse kinematics problems, in contrast with [1], are formulated. The forward kinematics problem is defined as the problem of finding the roll-gap and the pair-crossing angle of two work rolls for given lengths of twelve legs. On the other hand, the inverse kinematics problem is defined as the problem of finding the lengths of twelve legs when the roll-gap, the pair-crossing angle, and the position and orientation of one work roll are given. The method of manipulability analysis used in this paper follows the spirit of [1]. But, because the rolling force and moment exerted from both upper and lower rolls have been included in the manipulability analysis, more accurate results than the use of a single platform can be achieved. Two. kinematic parameters, the radius of the base and the angle between two neighboring joints, are optimally designed by maximizing the global manipulability measure in the entire workspace.

Wave dispersion analysis of rotating heterogeneous nanobeams in thermal environment

  • In the present article, wave dispersion behavior of a temperature-dependent functionally graded (FG) nanobeam undergoing rotation subjected to thermal loading is investigated according to nonlocal strain gradient theory, in which the stress numerates for both nonlocal stress field and the strain gradient stress field. The small size effects are taken into account by using the nonlocal strain gradient theory which contains two scale parameters. Mori-Tanaka distribution model is considered to express the gradually variation of material properties across the thickness. The governing equations are derived as a function of axial force due to centrifugal stiffening and displacements by applying Hamilton's principle according to Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. By applying an analytical solution, the dispersion relations of rotating FG nanobeam are obtained by solving an eigenvalue problem. Obviously, numerical results indicate that various parameters such as angular velocity, gradient index, temperature change, wave number and nonlocality parameter have significant influences on the wave characteristics of rotating FG nanobeams. Hence, the results of this research can provide useful information for the next generation studies and accurate deigns of nanomachines including nanoscale molecular bearings and nanogears, etc.

Analysis of delay compensation in real-time dynamic hybrid testing with large integration time-step

  • With the sub-stepping technique, the numerical analysis in real-time dynamic hybrid testing is split into the response analysis and signal generation tasks. Two target computers that operate in real-time may be assigned to implement these two tasks, respectively, for fully extending the simulation scale of the numerical substructure. In this case, the integration time-step of solving the dynamic response of the numerical substructure can be dozens of times bigger than the sampling time-step of the controller. The time delay between the real and desired feedback forces becomes more striking, which challenges the well-developed delay compensation methods in real-time dynamic hybrid testing. This paper focuses on displacement prediction and force correction for delay compensation in the real-time dynamic hybrid testing with a large integration time-step. A new displacement prediction scheme is proposed based on recently-developed explicit integration algorithms and compared with several commonly-used prediction procedures. The evaluation of its prediction accuracy is carried out theoretically, numerically and experimentally. Results indicate that the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed prediction method are of significance.
