  • In many application, LBLDCM is special-purpose devices in that, unlike their rotary counterparts, LBLDCM is tailored to specific needs. Whereas a rotary machine or a rotary motor interface with the mechanical systm through the shaft, a linear motor often interacts with the moving member(of the "rotor"), which is the mechanical system itself. This paper focuses on the load characteristics of LBLDCM.of LBLDCM.

Criterion for judging seismic failure of suspen-domes based on strain energy density

  • In this paper the strain energy density (SED) model is used to analyze the seismic behavior of suspen-domes and a new criterion is established for judging the seismic failure based on a characteristic point in the SED model. Firstly, a nonlinear time-history response analysis was carried out using the finite-element package ANSYS for typical suspen-domes subjected to different ground motions. The seismic responses including nodal displacements, ratios of yielding members, strain energy density and structural maximum deformation energy were extracted corresponding to the increasing peak ground acceleration (A). Secondly, the SED sum ($I_d$) was calculated which revealed that the $I_d-A$ curve exhibited a relatively large change (called a characteristic point) at a certain value of A with a very small load increment after the structures entered the elastic-plastic state. Thirdly, a SED criterion is proposed to judge the seismic failure load based on the characteristic point. Subsequently, the case study verifies the characteristic point and the proposed SED criterion. Finally, this paper describes the unity and application of the SED criterion. The SED method may open a new way for structural appraisal and the SED criterion might give a unified criterion for predicting the failure loads of various structures subjected to dynamic loads.

철도차량 추진제어장치 성능시험을 위한 관성부하 시험설비의 구조안전성 및 동특성 평가 연구 (A Study on Structural Integrity and Dynamic Characteristic of Inertial Load Test Equipment for Performance Test of Railway Vehicle Propulsion Control System)

  • 본 논문은 철도차량용 추진제어장치의 성능평가를 위한 관성부하 시험설비의 구조안전성 및 동특성 평가를 연구하였다. 추진제어장치는 철도차량의 핵심 부품으로서 차량에 적용하기 전에 안정성 및 신뢰성 검증이 충분히 이루어 져야 한다. 따라서 추진제어장치의 성능시험을 위한 관성부하 시험설비를 이론식을 바탕으로 하여 설계하였다. 설계된 관성부하 시험설비에 대해 Ansys v11.0을 이용하여 구조해석을 수행하였으며, ADAMS를 통해 동특성을 평가하였다. 관성부하 시험설비의 구조안전성은 조합하중하의 베어링에서 안전계수가 10.2로 만족하였다. 또한, 동적 시뮬레이션에 따른 플라이휠은 0.83mm이내의 최대진폭변위로 구조적 안정성이 확보되었다.

대용량 Compact형 로드셀의 기둥형 감지부 설계 및 해석 (Design and Analysis of Column Type Sensing Element for Large Compact Load Cell)

  • The column type is used as the sensing element of the load cell to measure the large force in the range of 10$^4$~ 10$^{7}$ N. However. it is not easy to handle the load with large capacity due to its size. It is, therefore, necessary to design a compact load cell with a low aspect ratio. Thus this paper showed the characteristic evaluation of compact load cell with respect to the shape of supporting plate. The supporting plate of the load cell was an annular type with inner(D$_{i}$) and outer(D$_{o}$) diameters. Using the strain distribution obtained from FEM. the supporting plate was designed to get the stable output voltage of the load cell. The three designed supporting plates were manufactured, and the result of characteristic experiment of the load cell, using the 10 MN hydraulic force standard machine, was compared with FEM.M.M.

굽힘 하중을 받는 복합재 기계적 체결부의 강도예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on Strength Prediction of Mechanical Joint of Composite under Bending Load)

  • 본 논문에서는 특성길이 및 특성 곡선 방법을 굽힘 하중 상태의 복합재 기계적 체결부에 적용하여 강도를 예측하는 연구를 수행하였다. 선행 연구들이 특성길이 및 특성 곡선 방법을 인장과 압축 하중에만 적용한 것과 달리 본 연구에서는 굽힘 하중에 적용하고 그 가능성을 확인했다. 체결부 파손 해석을 위해 ABAQUS를 사용하여 핀과 모재의 접촉 및 마찰을 고려한 비선형 해석을 수행하였다. 해석결과를 이용하여 얻은 특성 곡선상에서 Tsai-Wu 이론을 적용하여 파손 및 파단 양상을 예측하였다. 또한 복합재 시편에 굽힘 하중을 가해 파손하중을 알아보는 실험을 통해 검증한 결과 해석으로 얻은 복합재 체결부의 파손하중이 실험 결과와 매우 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. 결론적으로 특성길이 및 특성 곡선 방법이 굽힘 하중 상태의 복합재 기계적 체결부의 강도를 비교적 잘 예측할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

포스트텐션에 의한 격자 돔형 공간 구조의 거동 특성 (Behaviour Characteristic of Grid Dome Shaped Space Structures by Post-tensioning)

  • This paper is concerned with the erection and ultimate load test of dome shaped space structures by post-tensioning. It is a fast and economical method for constructing such a dome by post-tensioning of the cable in bottom chords. This structure consists of uniform pyramids in a flat layouts on the ground, and then the structure is shaped and erected into its final curved space structure. Ultimate load test was performed for dome shaped space structures. The feasibility of the proposed erection method and the reliability of the established geometric model were confirmed with numerical analysis and experimental investigation on a small scale steel model. As a results we can find the most reasonable modeling technique for the prediction of shape formation in practices and we can know the characteristic of the behaviour in ultimate load test for practical design purposes.

  • This paper presents a new algorithm called Quantum-behaved Electromagnetism-like Mechanism Algorithm which is used to solve economic load dispatch of power system. Electromagnetism-like mechanism algorithm simulates attraction and repulsion mechanism for particles in the electromagnetic field. Every solution is a charged particle, and it move to optimum solution according to certain criteria. Quantum-behaved electromagnetism-like mechanism algorithm merges quantum computing theory with electromagnetism-like mechanism algorithm. Superposition characteristic of quantum methodology can make a single particle present several states, and the characteristic potentially increases population diversity. Probability representation of quantum methodology is to make particle state be presented according to a certain probability. And the quantum rotation gates are used to realize update operation of particles. The algorithm is tested for 13-generator system and 40-generator system, which validates it can effectively solve economic load dispatch problem. Through performance comparison, it is obvious the solution is superior to other optimization algorithm.
