Pb($Zn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3}$)$O_3$-$PbTiO_3$-$PbZrO_3$계 세라믹의 유전특성에 관한 연구 (Study on Dielectric Characteristics of Pb($Zn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3}$)$O_3$-$PbTiO_3$-$PbZrO_3$Ceramics))

  • In this paper, xPb(Zn$_{1/3}Nb_{2/3}$)$O_3$-yPbTiO$_3$-zPbZrO$_3$-(0.5wt%)MnO$_2$ ceramics were fabricated by the mixed oxide method sintered at $1250^{\circ}C$ for 2[hr] and then the deielectric, electromechanical coupling factor($K_{p}$ and mechanical coupling factor(Qm) properties were investigated. In 0.1PZN-0.45PT-0.45PZsample, dielectric properties and electromechanical coupling factor were 829 and 29%. In the case of 0.5PZN-0.45PT-0.50PZ sample, that was 101 according to mechanical quality facotr. molphotropic phase boundary(MPB) certained area which $PbTiO_3$addition quatity 40∼50[㏖%].

  • 본 논문에서는 Pb(Sn$_{1}$7/Mn$_{2}$7/Nb$_{4}$7/)O$_{3}$- Pb(Zr, Ti)O$_{3}$계에 La$_{2}$O$_{3}$를 첨가하여 그양에 따른 압전일 전기력 성질의 변화를 고찰하였다. La$_{2}$O$_{3}$ 첨가량의 증가에 따라 유전상수, 압전 d상수, 유전손실, 비저항 등은 증가하였으나 경시 변화량은 오히려 감소하였다.

  • 본 연구는 Pb( $Co_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/) $O_{3}$-PbTi $O_{3}$-PbZr $O_{3}$계 압전세라믹스의 조성에 따른 착화소자특성과 기계적응력 인가시의 압전열화현상에 대하여 조사하였다. 그 결과 상경계 조성에서 소결밀도, $K_{33}$ 및 출력전압이 최고치를 나타내었으며 능방정계조성에서는 조성의 변화에 따른 소결 및 전기적특성의 변화는 정방정계조성에 비하여 작았다. 기계적 응력 인가시의 압전퇴화현상은 분역의 재배열로 설명할 수 있었다.

  • Research advances in dental implantology have led to the development of several different types of materials and it is anticipated that continued research will lead to advanced dental implant materials. Currently used pure titanium has relatively low hardness and strength which may limit its ability to resist functional loads as a dental implant. Ti-6Al-4V also has potential problems such as corrosion resistance. osseointegration properties and neurologic disorder due to aluminium and vanadium, known as highly toxic elements, contained in Ti-6Al-4V. Newly developed titanium based alloys(Ti-20Zr-3Nb-3Ta-0.2Pd-1In, Ti-20Zr-3Nb-3Ta-0.2Pd) which do not contain toxic metallic components were designed by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) with alloy design techniques using Zr, Nb, Ta, Pd, and In which are known as non-toxic elements. Biocompatibility and osseointegration properties of these newly designed alloys were evaluated after implantation in rabbit femur for 3 months. The conclusions were as follows : 1. Mechanical properties of the new designed Ti based alloys(Ti-20Zr-3Nb-3Ta-0.2Pd-1In, Ti-20Zr-3Nb-3Ta-0.2Pd) demonstrated close hardness and tensile strength values to Ti-6Al-4V. 2. New desinged experimental alloys showed stable corrosion resistance similar to the pure Ti but better than Ti-6Al-4V. However, the corrosion rate was higher for the new alloys. 3. Cell culture test showed that the new alloys have similar cell response compared with pure Ti and Ti-6Al-4V with no cell adverse reaction. 4. New designed alloys showed similar bone-metal contact ratio and osseointegration properties compared to pure Ti and Ti-6Al-4V after 3 months implantation in rabbit femur. 5. Four different surface treatments of the metals did not show any statistical difference of the cell growth and bone-metal contact ratio.

  • 본 연구에서는 (1-x) Pb(Zr0.515Ti0.485)$O_3$ - x Pb$(Sb_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3$ + 0.5wt% $MnO_2$ 조성에 Pb$(Sb_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3$ (PSN) (x=0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08) 변화에 따른 미세구조 및 압전, 유전특성에 관해 고찰하였다. PSN 치환량이 증가함에 따라 정방정 (tetragonal)구조에서 삼방정(rhombohedral)구조로 상전이가 일어났으며, 결정립의 크기가 작아지는 것을 확인하였다. 전기기계결합계수 (kp) 는 PSN이 4 mol % 치환됨에 따라 증가하였으며, 더 이상 치환 시 감소하였다. PSN 치환에 따른 전기적 특성은, 결정구조, 결정립의 크기 및 2 차상 등의 미세구조와 긴밀한 관계가 있는 것으로 보여진다. 상경계(Morphotropic Phase Boundary) 영역인 0.96 Pb(Zr0.515Ti0.485)$O_3$ - 0.04 Pb$(Sb_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3$ + 0.5wt% $MnO_2$ 조성에서 $\varepsilon{^T}_{33}/\varepsilon_o$ = 1109, $k_p$= 70.8 (%), $d_{33}$= 325 (pC/N)의 우수한 특성을 나타내었다.

  • Microstructural evolution of alpha and beta phases during dynamic globularization of near-beta Ti-13Nb-13Zr alloy was investigated to determine the optimum processing conditions. The submicrocrystalline alloy sheet with ${\sim}80%$ of high-angle grain boundaries was produced utilizing dynamic globularization at temperature of $600^{\circ}C$, equivalent strain rate of $10^{-1}\;s^{-1}$ and strain of 1.4. The refined structure with the gain size of ${\sim}0.4{\mu}m$ showed 25-60% enhanced mechanical compatibility as compared to those of the conventional mill-annealed or solution treated and aged microstructures.

  • The dielectric and piezoelectric properties with compositions in Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3-PbZrO3-(PNN-PT-PZ)solid solution ceramics were investigated. In this study, the compsition ranges were 30 PNN 45mole%, 20 PT 50mole% and 50 PZ5mole%. As PT fraction were increased the grain size was increased and the fired density was decreased, but the changes of PNN fraction had no effect on the grain size. The Curie temperature was increased when PT and PNN fraction were increased. The displacement was increased but had a great hysteresis loss when PT fraction was increased. In morphotropic phase boundary, the maximum piezoelectric and electromechanical coupling factor were indicated. Morphotropic phase boundary(MPB) was 34 PT 36mole% in chang of compositions.

  • Effect of PbO addition on sintering and piezoelectric properties at 0.45Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.40PbTiO3-0.15PbZrO3 composition which is tetragonal phase was investigated. In this composition, Porosity and dielectric constant were increased with excess PbO addition, but Kp and d31 was not changed. These variation of physical properties could be interpreted as composition change of solid grains from tetragonal to MPB region due to amount of PbO-rich liquid changing.

투광성 $Ba(La_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3-Pb(Zr_yTi_{1-y})O_3$ 세라믹의 $PbZrO_3$조성에 따른 강유전 특성 (Ferroelectric properties of the $Ba(La_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3-Pb(Zr_yTi_{1-y})O_3$ceramics with $PbZrO_3$ contents)

  • 본 연구에서는 투광성 0.085Ba(L $a_{1}$2/N $b_{1}$2/) $O_{3}$- 0.915Pb(Z $r_{y}$ $Ti_{1-y}$) $O_{3}$(0.45.leq.y.leq.0.70)세라믹을 2단 소성법으로 제작한 후, PbZr $O_{3}$조성 및 온도에 따른 구조적, 강유전적특성을 측정하였다. XRD측정 결과, PbZr $O_{3}$조성이 감소할수록 결자상수 및 단위격자 체적은 감소하였으며 시편의 결정구조는 입방정계에서 능면체정계, 정방정계로 변화되었다. 8.5/60/40시편의 경우 포화분극, 잔류분극 및 항전계가 각각 33.28[.mu.C/$cm^{2}$], 4.15[kV/cm]로 전형적인 메모리 특성을 나타내었으며 PbZr $O_{3}$조성이 증가함에 따라 강유전 이력곡선은 slim loop특성을 나타내었다. 잔류분극은 온도가 증가함에 따라 감소하였으며 특히 PE-FE상경계 부근에 위치한 조성의 경우, 상전이 온도 이하의 온도에서 급격히 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다.다.

Microstructure and Electrical Properties of Pb[(Mg,Mn)Nb]O3-Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 Piezoelectric Ceramics

  • Phase evolution, microstructure and the electrical properties such as $k_p$ and $Q_m$ of $Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3[PMN]-Pb(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O3[PM'N]-PbZrO_3[PZ]-PbTiO_3[PT]$ quaternary system were investigated within the compositional ranges $0{\leq}y{\leq}0.125$, y+z=0.125, and $0.39{\leq}x{\leq}0.54$ of the formula $Pb_{0.97}Sr_{0.03}[Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})_y\;(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})_z\;(Zr_{x}Ti_{1-x})_{1-(y+z)}]O_3$. In the case of increasing Mn/(Mg+Mn) ratio for a fixed Zr/Ti ratio of 47.5/52.5, phase relation remained unchanged but the grain size drastically decreased, and the electrical properties changed as following: both $k_P$ and $Q_m$ reached the peak values at $Mn/(Mg+Mn)\cong0.3l7$ and gradually decreased; $\varepsilon33^T$ showed a monotonic decrease; P-E hysteresis loop gradually changed to asymmetrical one, and $E_i$ increased in correspondence. With increasing Zr/Ti ratio for a fixed Mn/(Mg+Mn) ratio of 0.317, on the contrary, the cell parameter $(\alpha^2c)^{1/3}$ gradually increased, and tetragonal-rhombohedral morphotropic phase boundary appeared in the range of $51/49{\leq}Zr/Ti{\leq}54/46$. the meantime, the grain size substantially increased, and the electrical properties changed as following: $k_P$ and $\varepsilon33^T$ reached peak values at Zr/Ti=51/49 and 48/52, respectively, and then gradually decreased; change of $Q_m$ was adverse to $k_P$; both $E_C\;and\;E_i$ considerably decreased while $P_S$ moderately increased. For the system 0.125(PMN+PM'N)-0.875PZT studied, the composition Mn/(Mg+Mn)=0.3l7 and Zr/Ti=51/49 revealed some promising electrical properties for piezoelectric transformer application such as $k_P=0.58,\;Q_m\cong1000$, and $\varepsilon^T_{33}=970$, as well as dense and fine-grained microstructure.
