Ferroelectric Properties of PZT Thin Films by RF-Magnetron sputtering (RF 마그네트론 스퍼터링 법을 이용한 PZT 박막의 강유전 특성)

  • The effects of post annealing treatments of ferroelectrlclty in PZT(P $b_{1.05}$(Z $r_{0.52}$, $Ti_{0.48}$) $O_3$ thin film deposited on Pt/ $SiO_2$/Si substrate by RF-Magnetron sputtering methode was Investigated. Analyses by RTA(Rapid Thermal Annealing) treatments reveled that the crystallization process strongly depend on the healing temperature. The Perovskite structure with strong PZT (101) plan was obtained by RTA treatments at 75$0^{\circ}C$ With increasing RTA temperature of PZI thin films, the coercive field and remanent Polarization decreased, while saturation polarization( $P_{r}$) was decreased. P-E curves of Pt/PZT/Pt capacitor structures demonstrate typical hysteresiss loops. The measure values of $P_{r}$,. $E_{c}$ and dielectric constants by post annealed at 75$0^{\circ}C$ were 38 $\mu$C/$\textrm{cm}^2$ 35KV/cm and 974, respectively. Switching polarization versus fatigue characteristic showed 12% degradation up to 10$^{7}$ cycles.s.s.s.s.s.s.

  • (P $b_{1-x}$L $a_{x}$)[(S $b_{1}$2/S $n_{1}$2/) $Ti_{y}$ Z $r_{1-y}$] $O_{3}$(0.leq.x.leq.0.04, 0.25.leq.y.leq.0.40) 세라믹을 1250[.deg.C]에서 2시간동안 유지시켜 일반 소성법으로 제작하였으며 조성 및 L $a_{2}$ $O_{3}$첨가량에 따른 구조적, 압전적 특성을 관찰하였다. L $a_{2}$ $O_{3}$의 첨가량이 3-4[mol%]인 경우 La-rich의 pyrochlore상이 형성되었다. 시편의 평균결정립 크기는 1-2[.mu.n]의 크기를 나타내었으며 PbTi $O_{3}$조성이 증가함에 따라 다소 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 각 조성의 시편에 대해 PbTi $O_{3}$ 및 L $a_{2}$ $O_{3}$의 첨가량이 증가할수록 유전상수는 증가하는 경향을 나타내었으며 상전이 온도인 큐리온도는 PbTi $O_{3}$조성이 감소할수록 L $a_{2}$ $O_{3}$첨가량이 증가할수록 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 압전 전하계수 및 전기기계 결합계수는 L $a_{2}$ $O_{3}$첨가량 및 PbTi $O_{3}$조성에 따라 증가하였으며 L $a_{2}$ $O_{3}$가 4[mol%]첨가된 0.10PSS-0.40PT-0.50PZ 시편에서 각각 250x$10^{-12}$[C/N], 29.7[%]의 최대값을 나타내었다. 기계적 품질계수는 L $a_{2}$ $O_{3}$첨가량 및 PbTi $O_{3}$조성이 증가할수록 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으며 0.10PSS-0.25PT-0.65PZ 시편에서 138의 최대값을 나타내었다.다.

  • ZnO($Zn_{1+x}O$)는 n-type 반도성 세라믹스로 우수한 전기적, 광학적, 화학적 특성을 갖고 있어 바리스터, 투명 전도막, 화학 및 바이오 센서, UV light emitter 등 다양한 용도로 사용되고 있다. 또한 ZnO에 각종 천이 금속 산화물을 일정량 첨가함에 따라 발생하는 결함준위와 입계 특성의 변화에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 다양한 천이 금속 산화물의 첨가에 따른 전기적 광학적 특성의 변화에 대한 결과들이 많이 보고되고 있지만 서로 상충되거나 해석상 다소 어려운 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 ZnO에 $Cr_2O_3$를 2.0 at% 첨가하여 Cr 첨가에 따른 ZnO의 결함준위와 입계 특성 변화에 대하여 각종 유전함수($Z^*$, $Y^*$, $M^*$, $\varepsilon^*$, and $tan{\delta}$)를 이용하여 고찰하였다 ZnO에 Cr을 첨가할 경우 결함 중 장범위 쿨롱 인력에 의한 결함(0.13~0.18 eV)이 ~100K 영역에서 나타났으며, ZnO 내 결함 중 대표적인 $Zn_j$$V_o$는 서로 겹쳐서 나타났다. 이들 중첩된 결함에 대하여 각종 유전함수를 이용할 경우 서로 분리해 낼 수 있는 강점이 있음을 논하였다. 또한 각 결함준위가 강는 정전용랑(C)과 저항(R)을 impedance-modulus spectroscopy를 이용하여 구한 결과, 소결온도가 높아질수록 정전용량은 증가하였으며, 측정온도가 놓아질수록 높아지는 경향을 나타내었다. 입계의 정전용량은 소결온도가 높아질수록 높아 지지만 측정온도가 높아질수록 낮아지는 경향을 나타내었다. 각 저항값은 소결온도 및 측정온도가 높아질수록 지수적으로 감소하였다. 또한 분포함수를 이용하여 입계 안정성에 대하여 고찰하였다.

  • In this discussion, as a way to verify the existence of the system to regulate Zhou dynasty's $z{\bar{o}}ng-mi{\grave{a}}o$(宗廟) numbers, the discussion was focused on '$mi{\grave{a}}o$ (廟)' and '$g{\bar{o}}ng$(宮)' in the records of "$Ch{\bar{u}}n-qi{\bar{u}}$(春秋)". As for the parts where the contents of scripture sentences were not specific, the context of the case was investigated through the writings in "$Zu{\breve{o}}-zhu{\grave{a}}n$(左傳)" and other materials. In the cases of the usage of the letter, '$mi{\grave{a}}o$(廟 : a ruler's house, a nation's royal court)', in the scripture sentences in "$Ch{\bar{u}}n-qi{\bar{u}}$(春秋)", the followings need to be noticed. In $t{\grave{a}}i-mi{\grave{a}}o$(太廟) of State $L{\check{u}}$(魯), nationwide events and a ruler's political ancestral rite, $d{\grave{i}}$(?) ritual, were performed, and fancy tools for ancestral rites used in those rituals were equipped. As for the $z{\bar{o}}ng-mi{\grave{a}}o$(宗廟) of a ruler of those times, a ritual of royal court, $ch{\acute{a}}o$(朝) rite, was performed. The usage case of the letter, '$g{\bar{o}}ng$(宮 : house)', is as the following. In $g{\bar{o}}ng$(宮) where a ruler's personal family lived was a family ancestral rite for them carried out. The record about the ornate decorating for the $hu{\acute{a}}n-g{\bar{o}}ng$ house(桓宮), which can be said to have been the political base of $s{\bar{a}}n-hu{\acute{a}}n-sh{\grave{i}}$(三桓氏), three politically noble families of State $L{\check{u}}$(魯), is outstanding. The $x{\bar{i}}-g{\bar{o}}ng$ house(西宮) during $X{\bar{i}}-g{\bar{o}}ng$(魯 僖公)'s reign and a $x{\bar{i}}n-g{\bar{o}}ng$ house(新宮 : a newly built house) destroyed by fire at the third year of $Ch{\acute{e}}ng-g{\bar{o}}ng$(魯 成公), are assumed to have been a ruler's another house, such as the $ch{\check{u}}-g{\bar{o}}ng$ house(楚宮) in which $Xi{\bar{a}}ng-g{\bar{o}}ng$(魯 襄公) used to enjoy staying, which is different from the viewpoint that it might be a $m{\acute{i}}-g{\bar{o}}ng$ shrine(?宮 : a house constructed as a shrine for the deceased father or the deceased grand father) that had been formed since Han dynasty. It has been discussed that, regarding the records that the '$w{\check{u}}-g{\bar{o}}ng$ house(武宮) was built' and that the '$y{\acute{a}}ng-g{\bar{o}}ng$ house(煬宮) was built', certain buildings were established with the symbols of '$w{\check{u}}$(武 : martial arts and force of arms)' and '$y{\acute{a}}ng$(煬 : to burn and get rid of everything)', and the events that a lord stood as its lord continued. Therefore, its main goal was not the performance of a dutiful ancestral rite by a ruler of those times for deceased rulers, for instance, $W{\check{u}}-g{\bar{o}}ng$(魯 武公) or $Y{\acute{a}}ng-g{\bar{o}}ng$(魯 煬公), but display of certain political symbolism through the ritual. This symbolism is most obvious with the $hu{\acute{a}}n-g{\bar{o}}ng$ house(桓宮) and the $x{\bar{i}}-g{\bar{o}}ng$ house(僖宮). As a consequence, all $mi{\grave{a}}os$(廟) and $g{\bar{o}}ngs$(宮) in scripture sentences had the functions of a shrine in some part, but it has been verified that they were not the buildings set up as a shrine to follow '$z{\bar{o}}ng-mi{\grave{a}}o$(宗廟)'s number regulation system' of '$ti{\bar{a}}nz{\check{i}}-7-mi{\grave{a}}o$(天子七廟 : an emperor owns seven $mi{\grave{a}}os$(廟))' or '$zh{\bar{u}}h{\acute{o}}u-5-mi{\grave{a}}o$(諸侯五廟 : a lord owns five $mi{\grave{a}}os$(廟))'.

Effect of abutment types and resin cements on the esthetics of implant-supported restorations

  • PURPOSE. The aim of the study was to evaluate the optical properties of new generation (3Y-TZP) monolithic zirconia (MZ) with different abutment types and resin cement shades. MATERIALS AND METHODS. A1/LT MZ specimens were prepared (10 × 12 × 1 mm, N = 30) and divided into 3 groups according to cement shades as transparent (Tr), yellow (Y) and opaque (O). Abutment specimens were obtained from 4 different materials including zirconia (Group Z), hybrid (Group H), titanium (Group T) and anodized yellow titanium (Group AT). MZ and abutment specimens were then cemented. L*, a*, and b* parameters were obtained from MZ, MZ + abutment, and MZ + abutment + cement. ∆E001* (between MZ and MZ + abutment), ∆E002* (between MZ and MZ + abutment + cement) and ∆E003* (between MZ + abutment and MZ + abutment + cement) values were calculated. Statistical analyses included 2-way ANOVA, Bonferroni, and Paired Sample t-Tests (P < .05). RESULTS. Abutment types and resin cements had significant effect on L*, a*, b*, ∆E001*, ∆E002*, and ∆E003* values (P < .001). Without cementation, whereas zirconia abutment resulted in the least discoloration (∆E001* = 0.68), titanium abutment caused the most discoloration (∆E001* = 4.99). The least ∆E002* = 0.68 value was seen using zirconia abutment after cementation with yellow shaded cement. Opaque shaded cement caused the most color change (∆E003* = 5.24). Cement application increased the L* values in all groups. CONCLUSION. The least color change with/without cement was observed in crown configurations created with zirconia abutments. Zirconia and hybrid abutments produced significantly lower ∆E002* and ∆E003* values in combination with yellow shaded cement. The usage of opaque shaded cement in titanium/anodized titanium groups may enable the clinically unacceptable ∆E00* value to reach the acceptable level.

The Limited Impact of AGN Outflows: IFU study of 20 local AGNs

  • To investigate AGN outflows as a tracer of AGN feedback on the host galaxies, we perform integral-field spectroscopy of 20 type 2 AGNs at z<0.1 using the Magellan/IMACS and the VLT/VIMOS. The observed objects are luminous AGNs with the [O III] luminosity >$10^{41.5}erg/s$, and exhibit strong outflow signatures in the [O III] kinematics. We obtain the maps of the narrow and broad components of [O III] and $H{\alpha}$ lines by decomposing the emission-line profile. The broad components in both [O III] and $H{\alpha}$ represent the non-gravitational kinematics, (i.e., gas outflows), while the narrow components represent the gravitational kinematics (i.e., rotational disks), especially in $H{\alpha}$. By using the spatially integrated spectra within the flux-weighted size of the narrow-line region, we estimate the outflow energetics. The ionized gas mass is $(1.0-38.5){\times}10^5M_{\odot}$, and the mean mass outflow rate is $4.6{\pm}4.3M_{\odot}/yr$, which is a factor of ~260 higher than the mean mass accretion rate $0.02{\pm}0.01M_{\odot}/yr$. The mean energy injection rate is $0.8{\pm}0.6%$ of the AGN bolometric luminosity Lbol, while the mean momentum flux is $(5.4{\pm}3.6){\times}L_{bol}/c$, except for two most kinematically energetic AGNs. The estimated energetics are consistent with the expectations for energy-conserving outflows from AGNs, yet we do not find any supporting evidence of instantaneous star-formation quenching due to the outflows.

Sprachkontakt und $Lehnw\"{o}rter$ (IV) - Deutsche $Einfl\"{u}sse$ auf den englischen Wortschatz - (언어접촉과 차용어(IV) -영어어휘에 미친 독일어의 영향-)

  • In meiner Arbeit habe ich versucht zu untersuchen, welche deutschen $W\"{o}rter$ historisch in die englische Sprache entlehnt wurden und welche politischen, sozialen, wirtschaftlichen, kulturellen und $milit\"{a}rischen\;Hintergr\"{u}nde$ in der jeweiligen Zeit bei dem Entlehnungsprozess eine Rolle gespielt hatten. Durch meine Untersuchung habe ich bemerkt, dass die deutschen $W\"{o}rter$ von der Altenglischen Zeit bis jetzt $st\"{a}ndig\;Einfl\"{u}sse$ auf die englische Sprache $ausge\"{u}bt$ haben: In der Altenglischen Zeit wurde zwar nur ein paar $W\"{o}rter$ aus der christlichen Kirche aus dem Althochdeutschen ins Altenglische entlehnt, aber $allm\"{a}hlich$ wurden die deutschen $W\"{o}rter$ aus vielen verschiedenen Bereichen ins Englische entlehnt, wie z. B. aus dem des Bergbaus, der Seefahrt, der Wissenschaft, der Literatur, der Philosophie, der Musik, des Schulwesens usw. Es ist auch verstandlich, dass $ungef\"{a}hr$ bis zum 16. Jahrhundert die deutschen $Lehnw\"{o}rter$ im Englischen aus geographischen $Gr\"{u}nden$ meistens aus dem $Niederl\"{a}ndischen$ bzw. aus dem Niederdeutschen stammten. Die Zahl der deutschen $Lehnw\"{o}rter$ im Englischen erreicht im 19. Jahrhundert den $h\"{o}chsten$ Stand, weil in dieser Zeit die deutsche Wissenschaft, besonders die Naturwissenschaft, Philosophie, Literatur und Musik weltweit sehr bekannt waren. Die $Lehnw\"{o}rter$ wurden normalerweise zusammen mit kulturellen $Einfl\"{u}ssen$, oder urn eine $L\"{u}cke$ des Wortsystems der heimischen Sprache $auszuf\"{u}llen$, entlehnt. Aber ich habe bei meiner Untersuchung auch bemerkt, dass die kulturellen $Einfl\"{u}sse$ manchmal keinen Einfluss auf die Entlehnung des fremden Wortschatzes $aus\"{u}ben$ und die Entlehnung der $W\"{o}rter$ keinen Zusamenhang mit einer $L\"{u}cke$ im Wortsystem der heimischen Sprache aufweist, d. h. die $W\"{o}rter\;k\"{o}nnen$ auch entlehnt werden, obwohl die entsprechenden $W\"{o}rter$ schon in der heimischen Sprache vorhanden sind. Und manchmal wurden die $ausl\"{a}indische$ Kultur angenommen, ohne ein Wort aus diesem Bereich entlehnt zu haben. Bemerkenswert ist auch, dass die deutschen $Lehnw\"{o}rter$ im Englischen im Vergleich zu den englischen $Lehnw\"{o}rtern$ im Deutschen beziehungsweise den $franz\"{o}sischen\;Lehrw\"{o}]rtern$ im Englischen $zahienma{\ss}ig$ sehr gering sind, weil Deutschland historisch gesehen in Europa eine nicht so $gro{\ss}e$ Rolle gespielt hatte wie England bzw. Frankreich. Aber ich bin sicher, dass in Zukunft mehr deutsche $W\"{o}rter$ als bisher aus verschiedenen Bereichen ins Englische entlehnt werden, weil Deutschland nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg in der Welt wirtschaftlich sehr viel Bedeutung zukommt und besonders in der $Europ\"{a}ischen$ Union politisch, wirtschaftlich und finanziell eine sehr $gro{\ss}e$ Rolle spielt und weiter spielen wird.

WEAKLY DENSE IDEALS IN PRIVALOV SPACES OF HOLOMORPHIC FUNCTIONS

  • In this paper we study the structure of closed weakly dense ideals in Privalov spaces $N^p$ (1 < p < $\infty$) of holomorphic functions on the disk $\mathbb{D}$ : |z| < 1. The space $N^p$ with the topology given by Stoll's metric [21] becomes an F-algebra. N. Mochizuki [16] proved that a closed ideal in $N^p$ is a principal ideal generated by an inner function. Consequently, a closed subspace E of $N^p$ is invariant under multiplication by z if and only if it has the form $IN^p$ for some inner function I. We prove that if $\cal{M}$ is a closed ideal in $N^p$ that is dense in the weak topology of $N^p$, then $\cal{M}$ is generated by a singular inner function. On the other hand, if $S_{\mu}$ is a singular inner function whose associated singular measure $\mu$ has the modulus of continuity $O(t^{(p-1)/p})$, then we prove that the ideal $S_{\mu}N^p$ is weakly dense in $N^p$. Consequently, for such singular inner function $S_{\mu}$, the quotient space $N^p/S_{\mu}N^p$ is an F-space with trivial dual, and hence $N^p$ does not have the separation property.

Molecular Cloning of Bacillus stearothermophilus cdd Gene Encoding Thermostable Cytidine/Deoxycytidine Deaminase (Bacillus stearothermophilus 의 내열성 시티딘/디옥시시티딘 디아미나제를 코드하는 cdd 유전자의 클로닝)

  • The Bacillus stearothermophilus cdd gene encoding cytidine deaminase (cytidine/2'-deoxycytidine aminohydrolase; EC 3.5.4.5) was isolated through shot gun cloning by oomplementation of an E. coli cdd mutation. Primarily 3.0 kbp of the exogenote was cloned into the Pstl site of pBR322 (pJSC101). By subsequent deletion and subcloning from the insert of pJSC101 with cdd$^+$ and tetracycline resistancy, about 1.35 kbp of the EcoRI$_1$/PstI$_2$ fragment containing the cdd gene was isolated as pJSC201. The minicell experiment revealed a molecular mass of 33,000 dalton for polypeptide from the cloned DNA fragment complementing the cdd gene. From the lacZ fusion of 550 bp fragment of the EcoRI$_1$/AuaI as a putative promoter region, the transcription direction of the cdd gene on pJSC201 is from EcoRI towards the PstI sites, When the cdd gene was expressed in B. subtilis ED4O (cdd$^-$, pyr$^-$) by transformation with the E. coli-B. subtilis shuttle vector, the gene expression occured more efficiently than in E. coli and the gene appears to be stably maintained in B. subtitis as well as in E. coli.

A Study on Pyroelectric Properties of PLZT/PVA Composite Material (PLZT/PVA 복합재료의 초전특성에 관한 연구)

  • In Pb1-xLax(Zry, Tiz)1-x/4O3 system, it selects the composition 7/65/35 (x=7, y=65, z=35) that was reported to have eminent Pyroelectric properties, and that is sintered with PbZrO3+0.3wt.% PbO2 atmosphere powder. From the sintered ceramic and Poly Vinyl Alcohol, the thin wafers are fabricated with 0-3connectivity, and they are researched in Pyroelectric properties and the others according to volume ratio between ceramic and polymer. It was possible to fabricate the film containing ceramic up to 80vol% in PVA polymer. The increment of PLZT ceramic volume fraction improve the pyroelectric coefficient of the composite. On Pyroelectric coefficient and the figure of merit, a little inflection caused by glass point(Tg) of PVA appeared. The degree of inflection is proportioned to the amount of PVA.
