This paper describes Four Switch Three-Phase Z-Source rectifier with reduced value capacitors. This configuration has some advantages in term of small size of the circuit. The rectifier has buck-boost function by shoot-through state. Also, the rectifier has the advantage of decreasing inrush current in start-up and transient states. In order to reduce harmonics PWM modulation technique with a variable index has been suggested. Four Switch Three-Phase Z-Source rectifier with reduced value capacitors can output stable DC. Principles and dynamics of the system are discussed in detail.
The purposes of this study were to analyze the work patterns of selected hospital foodservices by Work Sampling methodology, and to investigate the relationship among operational factors affecting productivity. The hospitals were classified into 3 groups by the percentage of patient meals, and the percentage of special patient diet, and the menu items of patients meals. The groups clustered were characterized by productivity. Work Sampling methodology was utilized to analyze the work patterns of hospitals with selected 3 hospitals to investigate the productivity the productivity and labor times used in each work functions. Productivity index analyzed by Work Sampling were 10.36 min/meal, 10.95 min/meal, and 12.19 min/meal, respectively X, Y, Z hospital. Z hospital was significantly different from time used in direct work function and delay. Direct work function time was the highest, delay the lowest in Z hospital. The relation between the results of Work Sampling and the productivities of 3 groups showed not by delay but direct work function in the classification used in this study.
We investigate some polynomial invariants for virtual knots via virtualization moves. We define two types of polynomials WG(t) and S2G(t) from the definition of the index polynomial for virtual knots. And we show that they are invariants for virtual knots on the quotient ring Z[t±1]/I where I is an ideal generated by t2 - 1.
We determine the largest integer i such that $0 and the coefficient of $t^{i}$ is odd in the polynomial $(1+t+t^{2}+{\cdots}+t^{n})^{n+1}$. We apply this to prove that the co-index of the tangent bundle over $FP^{n}$ is stable if $2^{r}{\leq}n<2^{r}+\frac{1}{3}(2^{r}-2)$ for some integer r.
An integral transform with the Bessel function Jv(z) in the kernel is considered. The transform is relatd to a singular Sturm-Liouville problem on a half line. This relation yields a Plancherel's theorem for the transform. A Paley-Wiener-type theorem for the transform is also derived.
The morphological characteristics and genetic relationships among 32 germplasms of Zanthoxylum schinifolium and Zanthoxylum piperitum collected from two farms in Korea were investigated. The traits with the most variability were seed color, leaf size, and spine size. The intraspecific polymorphism of Z. schinifolium and Z. piperitum was 96.5% and 60.3%, respectively. The genetic diversity and Shannon’s information index values ranged from 0.11 to 0.33 and 0.19 to 0.50, with average values of 0.26 and 0.42, respectively. Two ISSR primers (UBC861 and UBC862) were able to distinguish the different species. The genetic similarity matrix (GSM) revealed variability among the accessions ranging from 0.116 to 0.816. The intraspecific GSM for Z. schinifolium and Z. piperitum was 0.177-0.780 and 0.250-0.816, respectively. The GSM findings indicate that Z. schinifolium and Z. piperitum accessions have high genetic diversity and possess germplasms qualifying as good genetic resources for cross breeding. The clustering analysis separated Z. schinifolium and Z. piperitum into independent groups, and all accessions could be classified into three categories. Z. Schinifolium var. nermis belonged to independent groups. Comparison of the clusters based on morphological analysis with those based on ISSR data resulted in an unclear pattern of division among the accessions. The study findings indicate that Z. schinifolium and Z. piperitum accessions have genetic diversity, and ISSR markers were useful for identifying Z. schinifolium and Z. piperitum.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the species composition and the aquatic environment of Jojong Stream and Sudong Stream, which were the original habitats of Zacco koreanus population and restored population re-introduced in Bongseonsa Stream. It also compared and analyzed the states of the growth and reproductive ability of Z. koreanus habiting in each of the three streams. The investigation was conducted in June 2016 which was known as the spawning season of Z. koreanus. The results of the physical aquatic environments showed the slight differences in altitude, width and depth of water among three streams, but the bottom structure was found to be quite different in the composition of the boulder, cobble, and pebble among the streams. The result of the physicochemical aquatic environment analysis showed that there were no significant differences in water temperature, pH, DO, BOD, and EC among the three stream. In the fish fauna investigation, 530 individuals of 11 species of 3 families were collected in Bongseonsa Stream, 293 individuals of 12 species of 4 families were collected in Jojong Stream, and 361 individuals of 11 species of 4 families were collected in Sudong Stream. All three streams were dominated by Z. koreanus and Z. platypus. Six Korean endemic species appeared in each of the three streams, showing the high occurrence rate of indigenous species of 50.0% or more. The aggregation index analysis revealed that the mean dominance index ranged from 0.63 (${\pm}0.05$, BS) to 0.72(${\pm}0.01$, JJ), mean diversity index from 1.55 (${\pm}0.06$, JJ) to 1.78 (${\pm}0.11$, BS), mean evenness index from 0.71 (${\pm}0.03$, JJ) to 0.76 (${\pm}0.02$, BS), and mean richness index from 1.61 (${\pm}0.33$, JJ) to 1.73 (${\pm}0.24$, SD). The result indicated that the observed differences between the stream community indices were statistically nonsignificant. The similarity analysis showed that 75.4% similarity was divided into two groups of A and B and that the fish fauna on each analyzed point was similar. The quantitative habitat evaluation index (QHEI) analysis showed that the average value of QHEI was 151.0 (${\pm}46.0$), which means that it was a suboptimal habitat environment. The result of length-weight analysis of Z. koreanus populations showed that the regression coefficient b of the restoration population and the original habitat population were at 3.0 or higher while the condition factor had a positive slope. Moreover, it was found that the slopes of the regression coefficient b and condition factor of the original habitat population were larger than the restored population. The analysis of the length frequency distribution of the Z. koreanus population revealed that all three streams maintained the stable life cycle although it was found that the growth rate of the original habitat population was faster than the restored population in the one-year-old class. The result of the gonadosomatic index (GSI) analysis showed that the GSI median value of the Z. koreanus population in the restored habitat Bongseonsa Stream was higher than the population in the original habitat Jojong Stream and Sudong Stream for both of males and females.
A double diffusion technique is developed to enhance the effective mode index of optical waveguides in $LiTaO_3$. It consists of Zn diffusion from the vapor phase at relatively low temperatures (750->$800^{\circ}C$), into waveguides initially produced by Ti indiffusion at higher temperature (1150->$1200^{\circ}C$). Both X- and Z-cut substrates are investigated. A model that combines profiles of both diffusion is formulated to calculate the expected effective index values for planar waveguides. Good agreement is found between experimental results and model predictions which assume that the initial Ti profile is not affected by the lower temperature Zn diffusion. Effective index enhancements as high as 0.005 and 0.003 are obtained by this method for the fundamental extraordinary and ordinary modes, respectively.
A Voltage Instability Predictor(VIP) estimates the proximity of a power system to voltage collapse in real time. Voltage Instability Index(Z-index) from VIP algorithm is estimated using LS(Least Square) method. But this method has oscillations and noise of result due to the system's changing conditions. To suppress oscillations, a larger data window needs to be used. In this paper. I propose the new other method which improves that weakness. It uses RLS(Recursive Least Square) to estimate voltage instability index without a large moving data window so this method is suitable for on-line monitor and control in real time. In order to verify effectiveness of the algorithm using RLS method, the method is tested on HydroQuebec system in real time digital simulator(HYPERSIM).

In this paper, we proposes the AC input voltage and current sensorless control scheme to control the input power factor and DC output voltage of the three-phase Z-source PWM rectifier. For DC-link voltage control which is sensitive to the system parameters of the PWM rectifier, fuzzy-PI controller is used. Because the AC input voltage and current are estimated using only the DC-link voltage and current, AC input voltage and current sensors are not required. In addition, the unity input power factor and DC output voltage can be controlled. The phase-angle of the detected AC input voltage and estimated voltage, the response characteristics of the DC output voltage according to the DC voltage references, the FFT results of the estimated voltage and current, efficiency, and the response characteristics of the conventional PI controller and fuzzy-PI controller are verified by PSIM simulation.
