This study aims to present about structural marina floats to yacht enhancement. Yacht marina facilities take long time and huge budget. The current ministry of land, transport and maritime affairs is planning to select an optimal design and spot for marina float base to yacht enhancement using Mokpo harbor. First, this paper focuses on marine floatation system to find requirements of selection. Second it points out sample structural marina floats in practice. Finally, this paper presents some recommendations for developing plan and method.

The aim of this study was to identify the significant factors for deciding yacht marina harbor location, and to use them for policy decision of a yacht marina project of local government. For this purpose, 2 top factors, 11 sub-factors and 50 specific factors were determined through a theoretical review and specialist interviews. This was followed by a questionnaire survey given to residents of Jeju and yacht tourists within the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province only. The results showed that marine safety is significant and the development must be made for local economic growth and by the participation of local residents.

In this paper, we will introduce the predominant case on the marine leisure business of the overseas. Next we will analyze the current situation of the domestic marine leisure and draw up a plan to solve its problem At first, we will introduce the predominant case on the marine leisure business cf the overseas. This study is to determine an optimal yacht mooring location candidate among many alternative candidates in order to obtain the maximized efficiency under the natural conditions using integer programming. To deal with marina's construction location, the optimal construction location is selected using 21 important factors analysis for 4 candidates in the Mokpo city. The development period and the initial investment cost weight are one and half times more than the others among 21 factors. The optimal spiral analysis of weighted linear model shows that the Peace Square sea area is selected as the most optimal place among 4 candidates. This proposed model has not been applied in the optimal marina's facility candidate selection problem yet. This paper will contribute to determine the most reasonable alternative. Also, this proposal model can be applied to other marina's facility candidate selection problem in other regions.

This study was to consider the development strategy of Jeju Marine leisure equipment industry for facilitating marine leisure tourism industry. For achieving this goal, the case studies related to domestic & foreign marine leisure equipment industry, interviews of marine leisure equipment company, the contents of specialist consultation meeting were used in this study. The strategies for promoting were suggested in progress that step 1 was the expansion of maintenance infrastructure as of a port of call, step 2 was the establishing of marie leisure tourism image, step 3 was the integration of marine leisure equipment industry. More specific suggestions were followed. As an aspect of infrastructure, the expansion of management of marine leisure equipment such as yacht, development of marina having similar image of Jeju were suggested. As an aspect of law/institution, the development of financial support system on the marine leisure equipment, promotion of establishment of professional education institutions were suggested. As an aspect of contents/programs, the hosting the exhibition of marine leisure used equipment of international trade, the development of environmental-friendly program associated with cruise were suggested, Finally, as an aspect of promotion/marketing, the promotions linked with drama & movie industry, the strategy of improvement of negative image to the yacht industry were suggested.

We also discuss how to adapt the yacht business on the above area. At first, we analyse the current situation of the domestic marine leisure and draw up a plan to solve its problem. The research developed twin keel yacht for everyone which is able to stand erectly on mud flat without list and intended to commercialize the development product for popularization of west coast's marine leisure industry. Yacht's linear was utilized by "Blue Water21" has superior performance among the existing sailing yachts and twin keel model has been tested by calculation of mono keel's extent and its center of gravity. The result was that only 4 % of difference have been identified between mono keel and twin keel's hydrodynamic resistance which was smaller difference than predicted.

Recently, the development of the Marina port is determined as a national plan, and a variety of leisure boats and facilities on the field has been of critical interest. In particular, yachts are designed and produced mostly at small shipbuilding companies and research institute. The regulation and historic data, however, about the safety of structure are not readily available. Therefore, it is required to evaluate the strength of ship structure. This paper deals with the estimation of local strength of 40 feet sailing yacht by using finite element analysis. The forebody, mast and connection parts of a FRP yacht structure are evaluated. In addition, the results are compared with the regulation of Lloyd's register and Korean register.
