부분방전 패턴을 이용한 가교폴리에틸렌에서의 트리성장에 관한 연구 (The Study on tree growth in XLPE using PD patterns)

  • Exploitation of equipment with cross linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation requires its condition monitoring and diagnostic. Traditionally diagnostics of insulation is carried out by means of partial discharge detection. Many researchers have developed a lot of methods to identify the defect by the PD form. However, such identification of a defect, for example, void, inclusion or treeing, does not say about its danger from a point of view of full insulation gap breakdown and insulation construction failure. The information about the form and size of formed upon high voltage treeing is necessary for prediction of the remained resource of XLPE insulation. For this purpose we carry out experimental research for determination of the dependencies between PD characteristics in XLPE upon time and three dimension PD patterns of corresponding treeing. The investigations were carried out by means of electrical measurement of PD current and simultaneous optical recording of treeing image. Test results show that the PD patterns can be applied for detecting tree growth well.

  • XLPE is used to insulator for Ultra High Voltage power cable. It is easy to processing also has a good insulating property. The study for diagnosis of lifetime and improvement is proceeding continuously. In this paper, it is investigated partial discharge distribution according to slope of needle electrode 0, 20, $40^{\circ}$. Applied voltage is 0.5 [kV/s] by step form for inception voltage. As the result of study, we conformed that increase of slope led to reduce of discharge number and total discharge quantity.

  • In this work, the effects of space charge was analyzed in removal efficiency of pollutant using dielectric barrier discharges. In order to investigate effects of space charge, two dielectrics(XLPE and TR-XLPE) was chosen which are different in space charge distribution. The simultaneously measurement of space charge and discharge current was carried out in XLPE and TR-XLPE with air gap by Pulsed-Electro-Acoustic Method in ac. Also, the removal efficiency is measured by classical ozone generator(von Siemens 1875). From the experimental results, we knew that the space charge distribution affects the discharge patterns. The more space charge is in surface, the quickly discharge initiates and the magnitude of discharge is increased when polarity changes. And these affect the removal efficiency of pollutant.

  • We developed friction welded bimetallic sleeve for 220kV aluminum conductor XLPE cable. Not only friction welded bimetallic sleeve for Termination(EB-A, EB-G) but also friction welded sleeve for Joint of Al to Cu conductor was developed regardless of this project. Generally, friction welded sleeve used to connect Al conductor cable to Cu conductor cable and used for improvement of mechanical property of terminal by offer the copper side of friction welded bimetallic sleeve at the Termination. Connection method for Al-Cu conductor has mainly used friction welding at the solid state, because it is difficult to connect by using conventional welding method. this investigation introduces development of friction welded bimetallic sleeve by friction welding and test result of 220kV Al conductor XLPE cable and accessories using friction welded sleeve.

  • 전 세계적으로 송전 용량의 증대 요구에 따라 송전 시스템이 초고압화 되어 가고 있으며 환경친화성 및 여러 특성에 있어 OF(Oii filled) 케이블에 비하여 우수한 성능을 지닌 XLPE(Crosslinked Polyethylene) 케이블의 사용이 급속하게 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 최근 345kV급 이상의 XLPE 케이블 시스템 개발이 해외 선진업체들에 의해 활발히 진행되고 있으며 이의 평가를 해외공인 인증기관에서 수행하여 개발된 제품의 디자인 검증 및 장기간 신뢰성을 입증하고 있다. 이러한 추세에 맞추어 LG 전선은 400kV 케이블 및 접속함의 사내 개발시험후 해외공인 인증기관인 네덜란드의 KEMA에서 IEC 62067에 따른 인증시험을 완료하여 개발된 제품의 높은 신뢰성을 인증 받았으며, 자사의 초고압 기술을 한 단계 상승시켜 세계 선진업체들과 경쟁할 수 있는 발판을 마련하였다.

  • In this paper, the study of influence of DC voltage and AC voltage on residual voltage of XLPE Cable was presented. In the former case, when the DC voltage of -10.0[kV] was applied to XLPE Cable for 0, 600, 1200, 1800[sec], time constants were 2139, 1416, 939, 488[sec] and resistivities were 930, 615.65, 408.26, 212.17[${\Omega}{\cdot}m$] respectively. In the latter case, when the AC voltage of 4 and 6[kV] was applied to the same Cable for 600[sec] after applying DC voltage of -5.0[kV] for 600[sec], time constants were 215, 275[sec] and resistivities were 93.48, 119.57[${\Omega}{\cdot}m$] respectively. In this experiments, measurement voltage, charging time and measurement time were -8.0[kV], 30[sec], 600[sec] respectively.

  • The objective of this paper is to effectively detect partial discharges in XLPE power cables. In this field, we have been usually applied several sensors for such partial discharges. This study used a type of beyond compare antenna based on the influence of background noises. Also, we designed a new structure that is able to easily apply in the adhesion of planar patch types for XLPE power cables in measurement sensitiveness elevation. A high frequency simulation tool (CST-MWS) was applied to the antenna used in this study, and it was used to evaluate certain characteristics. We fabricated an antenna using the simulation data obtained from a specific test. After checking the sensitivity of this Planar Patch Sensor in the Lab, it was tested in an actual site. This paper analyzed the data as a part of time and frequency domain using an oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer, respectively.

  • 본 논문은 초고압용 XLPE 케이블의 절연/단도전의 계면특성 향상을 위해 계면활성제 부가를 통한 절연파괴전압 향상에 관한 것으로, 계면구조의 변화와 이에 따른 절연파괴전압의 상관성을 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 계면확성제의 함량에 따른 절연/반도전 계면에서의 결정 미세구조(라멜라 밀도와 분자배향)를 스침각 X-ray와 TEM분석을 통해 밝히고, 이를 절연파괴 특성과의 상관성을 밝혔다. 연구결과, 사용되는 기저고분자와 첨가제 간의 정합성과 최적의 첨가제 함량이 절연재료의 파괴강도에 큰 영향이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 과도한 첨가제의 부가로 인하여 계면으로 이동한 계면활성제 간에 인력으로 뭉치게 되고(aggregation), 결국 국부적인 도메인을 형성하여 절연파괴 개시부로 작용할 수 있게 된다. 이를 스침각 X-ray (Gl-SAXS)를 통하여 라멜라 밀도 및 배향을 정량화 할 수 있으며, 이는 XLPE 전력케이블의 반도전 재료의 처방 및 계면특성 정량화 기법으로 유효하게 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

온도 구배열자극측정법의한 XLPE하전입자의 극성판정 (Polarity of Charged Particles n XLPE Measured by Temperature Gradient Thermally Stimulated Surface Potential)

  • This paper temperature gradient thermally stimulated surface potentian (TG-TSSP) in measurements are applied to the study of the polarity of trapped and ionic carriers in cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) filsm. In the thermally stimulated current in uniform temperature (TSC) of XLPE five peaks appear as indicated of the A B C D and E. In this paper A (at about -120$^{\circ}C$) D (at about 70$^{\circ}C$) and E (at about 110$^{\circ}C$) peaks are investigated. A peak is due to the biassing voltage and biassing temperature. Appear in to the glass transition temperature territory and caused in to the polarization of dipole. D peak is due to the depolarization of ionic space charge and E peak due to the detrapping of carriers injected from the electrodes. TG-TSSP and TSSP are measured to study the polarity of ionic carrier (D peak). In the unsatureated region of ionic space charge polarization, TG-TSSP is lower than TSSP during the initial stage of heating. Result of the experiment for E peak, TG-TSSP is higher than TSSP during the initial stage of heating and these results do not depend on the polarity of biassing voltage, and E peak is concerned with positive carriers (Holes).

  • To estimate a electrical performance of the extra high voltage XLPE cable the discharge properties due to shift of void position were investigated. The ${\phi}-q-n$ properties have been measured at room temperature by rising voltage ratio of 0.5[kV]. An obtained data was stored to personal computer through A/D converter. The period of applied wave form and discharge values were divided into 64 parts and discharge values generated during 10 seconds were accumulated by phases. As a result, it was confirmed that the charge, phase angle and counts of discharge changed due to void position.
