  • XML은 기존의 HTML과 SGML의 단정을 보안한 마크업 언어로써, 큰 대역폭, 많은 메모리 양, 높은 CPU속도를 가지는 유선 환경에서부터 저 대역폭, 적은 메모리 양, 낮은 CPU속도를 가지는 모바일 장치까지 사용이 확대되어 지고 있다. 현재 모바일에서 사용되는 XML 파서중에서는 PULL 모델 기반 Kxml파서[1]만이 모바일 장치를 고려한 파서이다. 모바일 장치에서 XML의 많은 사용을 위해서는 저메모리를 사용하여 빠른 파서에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 piccolo 파서에서 사용한 Parser generator tool 인 JFlex를 사용하고, 파싱 모델 중 가장 빠르고 저 메모리를 사용하는 Pull 모델을 적용함으로써, 빠른 Token 추출과 이벤트 형 정의를 통해 좀더 빠른 XML 파서를 제안하고자 한다.

  • 기존에 사용되고 있는 XML 파싱 모델에는 Object 모델과 Push 모델이 있다. Object 모델은 문서내의 컨텐츠를 트리 구조로 변화하기 때문에 메모리의 사용이 않아지고 Push 모델의 경우 문서 내의 컨텐츠를 이벤트 처리하는 각각의 메서드를 이용함으로써 이벤트 처리의 지연 및 지연을 위한 메모리를 추가로 사용하는 등의 단점이 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 Pull 모델이 등장했으나 DTD를 지원하지 않음으로서 XML 문서의 유효성을 검증할 방법이 없으며 파서의 기능이 미약하다. 본 논문에서는 Visitor 패턴을 이용하여 기존의 Pull 파서들이 가지지 못하던 XML 문서의 유효성 검증문제를 해결하고, 파서에 부가적인 기능을 하는 모듈을 추가하여 Interpreter시스템으로 확장 가능한 파서를 생성해 주는 XML Pull Parser Generator를 제안한다.

  • 현재 XML은 HTML의 대체 마크업 언어로써 그 사용이 확대되어 지고, 또한 XML 데이터를 위한 파서 모델과 파서 구현방식에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그 연구의 결과로 벤치마킹에서 PULL모델이 빠른 파싱 속도를 나타내었고, 파서의 구현 방식에 있어서는 PULL 모델 파서인 piccolo에서 사용한 parser generator tool인 JFlex와 BYacc/J를 사용하는 방법이 기존 파서 구현 방식에서 사용하던 Hand-write 방식보다 파싱이 빠른결과 [1]를 내 놓았다. 또한 이 두 방법을 이용하여 기존의 파서 보다 파싱을 위한 시스템 설계를 제안하였다[2]. 본 논문에서는 JX-PullParser 시스템을 구현하였고, xml 파서 속도 비교 도구인 saxbench 속도 비교 도구를 사용하여 기존 파서보다 빠른 파싱 속도를 보이는 것을 입증하였다.

  • With the increase in the number of smart phone users, smart phones themselves are seeing progress in terms of available functions. Many applications, too, are being developed to increase convenience in daily life. This study issued a list of information on films that the user wishes to see, by using an XML parser to call news articles related to the films in question to the news site RSS. The Android App server was built using Ubuntu and the latest film information was provided through the board that was built. The menu was consisted in a manner so that when the information interested was clicked on, a more detailed set of information became available.

  • The development of the mobile communication has been enlarged gradually and has been changed voice centered services into data centered ones supporting Internet to provide various kinds of mobile internet services. Researches for data transmission have been achieved actively lot the effective approachment of web in the mobile terminal. The users using mobile communication are increasing for its easy handcarried and movement and the information in internet based upon wire communication has been changed into mobile communication fast. The development of mobile internet requires various mobile contents using mobile internet at any time and at any place due to rapid enhance of network capacity and mobile internet according to network expansion. To accept these needs, there are many difficult problems that contents must be remade according to various terminal features and the develoument costs much. To solve these problems, this paper has the pun)me that contents of Web documents are changed and processed through XML palter and design new mobile contents system, providing mobile services rapidly and obtaining the charge reduction result with the enhance of contents development to the shortening of a development Period.

  • The Verilog parser libary for IEEE Verilog 1364-2001 Standard is developed in the paper. The lexer and scanner are developed and tested to handle "Yerilog-2001" which is the first major update to the Verilog language since its inception in 1984. Also the newly developed XML intermediate format for Verilog-2001 is presented. By using the XML intermediate, it allows the portable and scalable development of various kinds of verilog applications that are mainly focused on semantic manipulation.ipulation.

  • A structured XML has been widely used to present services on various Web-services. The XML is also used for digital documents and digital signatures and for the representation of multimedia files in email systems. The XML document should be firstly parsed to access elements in the XML. The parsing is the most compute-instensive task in the use of XML documents. Most of the previous work has focused on hardware based XML parsers in order to improve parsing performance, while a little work has studied parsing techniques. We present the high performance parsing technique which can be used all of XML parsers and design hardware based XML parser using an FPGA. The proposed parsing technique uses element analyzers instead of the state machine and performs multibyte-based element matching. As a result, our parsing technique can reduce the number of clock cycles per byte(CPB) and does not need to require any preprocessing, such as loading XML data into memory. Compared to other parsers, our parser acheives 1.33~1.82 times improvement in the system performance. Therefore, the proposed parsing technique can process XML documents in real time and is suitable for applying to all of XML parsers.

  • With the increasing use of XML, considerable research is being conducted on the XML document management systems for more efficient storage and searching of XML documents. Depending on the base systems, these researches can be classified into object-oriented DBMS (OODBMS) and relational DBMS (RDBMS). OODBMS-based systems are better suited to reflect the structure of XML-documents than RDBMS based ones. However, using an XML parser to map the contents of documents to relational tables is a better way to construct a stable and effective XML document management system. The proposed X-Binder system uses an RDBMS-based inverted index; this guarantees high searching speed but wastes considerable storage space. To avoid this, the proposed system incorporates a path combining module agent that combines paths with sibling relations, and stores them in a single row. Performance evaluation revealed that the proposed system reduces storage wastage and search time.

  • In this paper, we present an equation edition system, which is designed and implemented according to the W3C MathML standard. The system can be used to edit equations for the various web-oriented applications. Various user-friendly interfaces are provided for the easy and efficient edition of equations. The edited equations can be viewed immediately with the representation modules. To improve the processing speed of equations, we upgraded functions of the conventional XML parser. The presented system will contribute to the extensive usage of equations on the web and efficient processing of XML documents with equations.
