H-DISS: Development of Integrated Management System for Healthcare Documents using Web Services and HL7 (H-DISS: 웹서비스와 HL7을 이용한 헬스케어 문서 통합 관리 시스템 개발)

  • Recently, as the technology has been blended with IT, BT or NT and technology in each field has been developed progressively with the people's needs for a healthy and abundance life. In the medical service field as well, related technologies such as medical equipment, medical information system, or medical business application have come to be diversified and advanced. However, most of these medical technologies are being developed independently without an interaction with other medical institutions or related companies, which causes many problems in the integration or interchangeability of them. This paper is intended to solve the problems generated during a direct information sharing between the functional interfaces of the present healthcare information sharing system. This paper develops a repository between the interfaces, which can save all the healthcare information from the institutions, and convert and publish it in various forms of document. In other words, recently HL7 protocol has been used for sharing the healthcare information in order to save the information in XML format, and develops the H-DISS(Healthcare-Documents Integrated Sharing System), a repository to manage and publish the saved document.

  • XML is situating a standard fur data exchange in the Web. Most applications use database to manage XML documents of high-capacity efficiently. Therefore, most applications create label that expresses structure information of XML data and stores with information of XML document. A number of labeling schemes have been designed to label the element nodes such that the relationships between nodes can be easily determined by comparing their labels. With the increased popularity of XML data on the web, finding a labeling scheme that is able to support order-sensitive queries in the presence of dynamic updates becomes urgent. XML documents that most applications use have many properties as their application. So, in the thesis, we present the most efficient updating methods dependent on properties of XML documents in practical application by choosing a representative labeling method and applying these properties. The result of our test is based on XML data management system, so it expect not only used directly in practical application, but a standard to select the most proper methods for environment of application to develop a new exclusive XML database or use XML.

  • Web is greatly contributing in providing a variety of information. Especially, as media for the purpose of development and education of human resources, the role of web is important. Furthermore, E-Learning through web plays an important role for each enterprise and an educational institution. Also, above all, fast and various searches are required in order to manage and search a great number of educational contents in web. Therefore, most of present information is composed in HTML, so there are lots of restrictions. As a solution to such restriction, XML a standard of Web document, and its various search functions is being extended and studied variously. Moreover, any technology, AJAX, and the old and new technology has two sides. The technology already exists, and it was not even considered before, because new technology is combined technologies. AJAX is a lot of Web 2.0 and Web technologies complement are combined. This paper proposes a search system able to search XML, AJAX in E-Learning or various contents of non-XML.

Extracting Maximal Similar Paths between Two XML Documents using Sequential Pattern Mining (순차 패턴 마이닝을 사용한 두 XML 문서간 최대 유사 경로 추출)

  • Some of the current main research areas involving techniques related to XML consist of storing XML documents, optimizing the query, and indexing. As such we may focus on the set of documents that are composed of various structures, but that are not shared with common structure such as the same DTD or XML Schema. In the case, it is essential to analyze structural similarities and differences among many documents. For example, when the documents from the Web or EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) are required to be merged or classified, it is very important to find the common structure for the process of handling documents. In this paper, we transformed sequential pattern mining algorithms(1) to extract maximal similar paths between two XML documents. Experiments with XML documents show that our transformed sequential pattern mining algorithms can exactly find common structures and maximal similar paths between them. For analyzing experimental results, similarity metrics based on maximal similar paths can exactly classify the types of XML documents.

  • This study suggests an accounting information processing model based on internet standard XBRL which applies an extensible business reporting language, the XML technology. Due to the differences in document characteristics among various companies, this is very important with regard to the purpose of accounting that the system should provide useful information to the decision maker. This study develops a data mining model based on XML hierarchy which is stored as XBRL in the X-Hive data base. The data ming analysis is experimented by the data mining association rule. And based on XBRL, the DC-Apriori data mining method is suggested combining Apriori algorithm and X-query together. Finally, the validity and effectiveness of the suggested model is investigated through experiments.

  • Digitalized multimedia contents is changing active digital contents in form passed from manufacturer directly to consumer though digital network of high speed, also face with big problem that is protection of rights to protect digital contents, to protect those and effort to active digital contents process height. Also, in situation that require change to more efficient system, the efficiency of rights document that is basic intermediate to be used in business of digital contents field is emphasized. Therefore, the design of common business model to share contents that have same purpose without depending on specific system to offer contents with another system is required. This paper designed adaptable rights business model to general digital contents, and designed and implemented rights document editing system to editable document for Right management according to designed business model.

  • The purpose of this thesis is to develop a standard for drawing up DTD files and making them about information of students easily. By projecting DTD and embodying a file generator which can generate XML files about information of students, we can have good effects as follows. We can share information about the management of students to correspond to big changes of circumstance in education of school caused by the advent of computers and webs. Teachers can lesson their work and have a chance to devote themselves to teaching. DTD for making XML files about information of students was designed on the basis of the spirit of the 7th school curriculum. We can give and receive same kinds of information about students from school to school.

  • XML has the characteristics of self-describing and uses DTD or XML schema in order to constraint its structure. Even though the XML schema is only at the stage of recommendation yet, it will be prevalently used because DTD is not itself XML and has the limitation on the expression power. The structure defined by the XML schema as well as the data of the XML documents can vary due to complex reasons. Those reasons are errors in the XML schema design, new requirements due to new applications, etc. Thus, we propose XML schema evolution operators that are extracted from the analysis of the XML schema updates. These schema evolution operators enable the XML schema updates that would have been impossible without supporting tools if there are a large number of XML documents complying the U schema. In addition, these operators includes the function of automatically finding the update place in the XML documents which are registered to the XSE system, and maintaining the XML documents valid to the XML schema rather than merely well-formed. This paper is the first attempt to update XML schemas of the XML documents and provides the comprehensive set of schema updating operations. Our work is necessary for the XML application development and maintenance in that it helps to update the structure of the XML documents as well as the data in the easy and precise manner.

A Study on the Design with RDF Authoring Tool for Metadata Management (메타데이터 관리를 위한 RDF 저작도구 설계에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the semantic web stands out in the next generation web. To realize the semantic web, the metadata integration is required between different metadatas on the web for metadata management. Otherwise, the integrated structure is needed to accommodate all of semantic, syntax and structure. RDF is one of the core technology and is more efficient framework for technology and interchange of metadata in the web, In this paper, for metadata management, we designed and implemented the RDF authoring system which converts each of metadata into RDF and makes it easy to manipulate and manage the different metadatas. For this, we researched about the RDF creation using Dublin Core metadata, the conversion of XML document into RDF, the RDF expression by N-Triple form and the integration of WSDL and RDF, and implemented the system on the lava platform. Basically, users using this system can integrate and manage metadatas easily even if they are not expert.

  • 인터넷의 발달로 인하여 웹을 통한 문서 송수신이 많아지면서 종래의 인쇄 매체 상에 기술된 문서들은 점차 전자문서화 되기 시작했다. 이러한 문서들을 서로 다른 시스템 사이에서 상호 교환하기 위해서는 사용자가 원하는 논리적 구조를 태그로 구현할 수 있는 정형화된 문서 형태가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 XML 형식의 메일에 XSL 문서를 임베디드하여 보내는 XSL 메일 전송 기법을 제안하고자 한다. XSL 메일 서버를 통하여 수신된 메일은 XML과 XSL 형식에 따라 XSL 메일 데이터베이스에 따로 저장되기 때문에 분석이 매우 용이하다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 임베디드 XSL 메일은 HTML 형식의 문서와는 달리 얻고자하는 element를 메일로부터 쉽게 분리해 낼 수 있으므로 대량의 메일을 수신한 경우 메일들을 효과적으로 관리할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
