  • According to development of Information Technology and generalization of internet, practical use field of geography information became various. Therefor various Geographic Information System (GIS) constructed to manage geography information efficiently. However, geography information data of various form is depending on graphic authorizing tool of various form being not normalized each other. So, OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium) proposed GML (Geography Markup Language) that describe normalized geography information data that can apply mutually and W3C proposed SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) of vector base. In this paper creates GML data of XML base for geography information data processing to vector graphic object. and design and implementation of GML document editing and translation system that define code converter that create GML document through created graphic objects and change vector graphic to logic structure of XML base.

  • The purpose of this paper is developing a PML server which is capable of saving and managing effectively the information of vehicles using RFID technology in the logistical and distributive environment. The PML server logs and manages the real-time static and dynamic information about the vehicles in EPC code format which is represented by XML schema and transmitted by the RFID reader to the server. It receives information from SAVANT the RFID middleware and transmits the data to the traffic information management application The main system we developed consists of the EPC data registry, query processor, data converter, vehicle product and instance data storage, system management tool and application API parts.

  • AS EC is expanded and activated, many message standards, EDI, XML, UDF, etc are defined and is used at various business part. But the existed translator supports only one mapping translation, for example, EDI-to-UDF, UDF-to-EDI. So many user must be introduced a new translation when new business(message standard) is beginning, To solve this problem, we propose XConverter System as registering mapping information which is able to transform to user requested format using same translator even though it is transferred any formatted message in this paper. Also, We design and implement this system which is capable to integrate with existed legacy system, including DB transformation functionality. The .XConverter System supports changing the business message format to the common user used message format. And this system easily migrates with existed legacy system because DB transform module is component. Therefore, The proposed System is more various and flexible than the other translation system that provide just one mapping transformation.

  • JXTA는 중앙 서버를 통한 관리가 필요 없고, 네트워크에 연결되어 있다면 어떤 장치든 다른 장치들과의 통신이 가능하며, 이 기종 P2P시스템이나 커뮤니티들과의 통신이 가능하다는 것 등의 많은 장점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 장점을 최대한 활용하면서 서로 상이한 protocol과 API의 사용으로 인해 상호 운용성 실현이 쉽지 않은 이 기종 P2P 시스템간의 상호 연동을 가능하도록 하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 JXTA를 이용한 InterDinstantP2P라는 시스템을 제안하고, 이의 중요한 두 가지 구성요소로서 XML Converter와 Network JDiner의 구조를 설명한다.

  • This paper describes design and implementation experience of SAS-G2S slotmachine accounting protocol middleware system that converts the legacy binary format SAS (Slot Accounting System) protocol with servers with recent standards G2S protocol. The paper examines the difference of two protocols such as link control, message format, and parameters. The converter architecture uses bridge and connector patterns and implemented in C++ and Python mixed language on Linux environment. The prototype system uses a 1GMHz-512MB linux machine and has passed Korean official protocol compatibility and performance test in 2015.

  • In this paper, we implemented a terrestrial/cable PSIP converting system, so-called a PSIP converter, which is converting a terrestrial PSIP into a cable PSIP for a data broadcasting service in the interoperable network of terrestrial and cable, and define an interface between the PSIP converter and the OOB SI generator by using PMCP messages compliant to ATSC T3/Sl. The exiting PSIP converter just converts a terrestrial PSIP into a cable PSIP compliant to ATSC and OCAP standard and transmits by a MPEG-2 TS format. That is to say, it is not for the digital data broadcasting but for the digital broadcasting. In addition, the PSIP converter can support various types of PSIP information to the OOB SI generator by using PMCP messages defined by a hierarchical structure as per each channel, audio/video event, data event and so on.

Development of IFC Converter Prototype for Applying BIM in the Road Field (도로분야 BIM 적용을 위한 IFC 변환기 프로토타입 시스템 개발)

  • IFC converters and viewers, applicable in the construction field, are being actively developed while, in the civil engineering field, IFC schemata are being developed. To prove the IFC schema grammatically, the existing ISO 10303 30s' pre-processors and post-processors may be used. However, to visually prove the IFC model, the existing commercial 3D modeling software should be converted into the IFC schema of civil engineering field, and a viewer is needed to view it. Thus, this study developed a IFC converter and viewer prototype system to apply BIM in the road field. To express the road line, LandXML was analyzed, and IFC suitable for expressing shapes in the road field was designed. Also, an IFC suitable for bridges with focus on representative bridge structures such as abuts, piers and decks was designed. Further, a converter was developed using AutoCAD's Civil3D and Revit's 3rdp party tools, and software was also developed designed to combine each converted IFC model into one IFC. In addition, a viewer designed to view IFC in the road field was developed to prove the converted IFC. Eight major verification and examination items were selected and used in testing the converted model, and it was confirmed that the viewer normally viewed the IFC schema in the road field. The proposed IFC converter is expected to be used as a visual IFC verification tool in the road field.

  • Motion capture technology is widely used to make a realistic motion in these days. So, motion capture data is required to exchange between many animators in a work group. But different motion capture devices have different motion rapture data formats. Thus it is difficult that a animator reuse and exchange motion capture data in a storage. In this paper, we proposes a standard format for integrating a different motion capture data format. In addition, we proposes a framework of a system that manage motion capture data using our standard format. Our standard format is called MCML(Motion Capture Markup Language). It is a markup language for motion capture data and based on XML(extensable Markup Language). Our system to manage motion capture data consists of a several component - MCML Converter, MCML , MCML Editor, Motion Viewer.

  • Because a quantity wireless internet contents is much less than wired internet contents, it exist high necessities that wired internet contents should be converted into wireless internet contents. The conversion server implemented in this paper, automatically recognizes the type of user agents when they request, retrieves source documents on the web site specified by an URL, generates metaXML documents as an intermediate form, and converts them wireless markup documents appropriate for user agents. The conversion server interoperates with the image converter for image conversion and the clipper which is an authoring tool for clipping existing wired internet documents. We performed experiments about capability of the conversion server transcoding static/dynamic web pages specified by an URL. According to performance results on dynamic web pages, the conversion server showed better throughput when a thread pool in the terror maintains 5 threads compared with 1 and 10 threads.

  • 현재 생물학 연구실에서 시퀀싱 실험을 통해 생성되거나 또는 공개용 생물 데이터베이스로부터 획득된 유전체 및 단백질 정보는 각각 이질적인 데이터형식을 사용하고 있다. 이 때문에, 생물정보를 분석하여 상호간의 정보를 효율적으로 사용하기 위해서는 공통된 형식의 데이터 표준화작업이 필수적이다. 그리고 이러한 이질적 데이터 형식에 대한 표준화 연구의 미비로 인하여 플랫 파일간의 정보공유에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서, 이 논문에서는 다양한 유전체 및 단백질 정보를 관리.공유하기 위해 이질적인 포맷간의 맵핑 과정을 통하여 BSML(Bioinformatic Sequence Markup Language) 형태로 변환하고, 이를 객체관계형 데이터베이스(Object Relational DataBase)에 저장하는 시스템을 개발하였다. 그리고, 개발된 시스템은 생물정보 데이터의 표준화를 위해 개발된 XML(Extend Markup Language) 기반의 BSML을 이용함으로써 효율적으로 생물학 데이터들 간의 정보를 공유할 수 있으며, 개인 생물학 데이터베이스 구축이나 다양한 생물학적 데이터를 통합 관리하는 시스템에서 유용하게 쓰일 수 있다.
