The purpose of this paper is the design and implementation of asynchronous remote procedure call (RPC) resource service system using the XML technology. For this purpose, the request information of client is encoded into XML document based on XML-DOM and transferred to server, Server classifies the client requests into general application program and XML-RPC service using the object which can deal with the XML-DOM. In addition, server saves the request result of client in XML-DOM structure not transmitting it immediately in order to support asynchronous service, and makes the client request redirected to another request server in XML-DOM information. As a result, general RPC and XML-RPC services were attained and client request was redirected to servers, and the execution environment was simplified compared to common RPC.

This study is to implement electronic catalog that is necessary for Web-based electronic commerce and one of many application areas in digital libraries technologies. According to development to digitize various type of paper documents that are used at electronic commerce. We demonstrated limitations of HTML and XML that are being used for current electronic catalog, and introduced newly developed cXML. We have also implemented new electronic catalog using cXML in order to develop and research standardized and secured electronic commerce.

OLAP(On-Line Analytical Processing)은 데이터 웨어하우스에 저장된 정보를 다차원적으로 분석하여 그 결과를 온라인으로 사용자에게 제공하는 제반 기술로써, 비즈니스 인텔리젼스의 핵심 기술 중 하나이다. OLAP 애플리케이션을 개발하기 위해서는 OLAP API를 필요로 하며, 주요 API들로는 OLE DB for OLAP, JOLAP, XML for Analysis (XML/A)를 들 수 있다. 이 중에서 XML/A는 XML 웹서비스를 지원하는 API로써 SOAP, XML, HTTP 등 개방형 인터넷 표준을 따른다. XML/A는 데이터를 XML 형태로 전송함으로써 서로 다른 플랫폼을 갖는 클라이언트와 서버간에 통신을 할 수 있도록 해 준다. 반면. OLAP 오브젝트나 분석 데이터를 서버에 요청하기 위해서 클라이언트는 동일한 형식의 XML 데이터를 매번 생성해야 하는 번거로움을 안고 있다. 본 연구에서는 윈도우즈 환경의 애플리케이견 개발자들이 이러한 번거로운 작업을 하지 않고 XML/A Provider의 웹서비스를 통해 편리한 다차원 데이터 분석을 지원하는 XMLMD(XML Multidimensional) API를 설계하고 구현하였다.

XML been using extensively by standard of data exchanging in the Internet is observed by a technology to replace existent document creation language of HTML etc. Biggest characteristic of this XML is that logic information and physical information that express style of document that do that express structural substance of document were detached. Hereupon, W3C advised XSL that oner style function of form similar to HTML for XML's style and data conversion. Also, XSL's conversion function offers function that change XML document to other data format, and can describe style information through conversion of various document format. But, a XML document conversion technology that use XSLT know-how in domestic is unprepared real condition, and necessity about solution that can edit XSLT document efficiently is putting. This paper does XML document so that conversion and output are available in various document format. And offered research of XSLT document editing system that can edit and create XSLT document efficiently under WYSIWYG environment.

정보통신 기술의 발전 및 인터넷의 급속한 발전으로 사회 각 분야에서 인터넷을 통해 전송되는 데이터의 안전성을 위한 보안 기술들이 필요시 되고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위한 기술들의 하나로 XML(extensible Markup Language) 보안 기술들이 많이 활용되고 있다. XML에서 제공되는 많은 보안 기능 중에 XML 서명 기술은 비XML 문서를 서명하거나 필요한 부분에만 서명이 가능하므로 전송되는 데이터의 안전성을 위해 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 PKI 환경에서 강조되는 암호학적으로 안전한 인증 메커니즘을 위해 X.509 인증서를 XML 서명 기술에 활용하여 사용자간에 인증을 하고 사용자 자원 및 공통 자원에 접근 가능한 접근 제어 모델과 이 모델에 적용 가능한 DTD(Document Type Definition)를 정의하는데 목적이 있다.

웹 서비스는 기존 분산 처리기술과 인터넷 기술에 기반한 기술이며, 이기종 시스템간의 데이터를 자연스럽게 공유하고 통신하는 것을 목적으로 등장한 기술이다. 또한 웹서비스 기술로 구현된 프로그램은 필요한 곳에서 proxy object를 생성해서 사용할 수 있으므로, 다른 개발 환경에서 작성된 프로그램이라도 호출해서 사용할 수 있게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 프로그램을 공유하는 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 보안 요구사항을 도출해보고 보안을 위해 XML Signature와 XML Encryption을 적용한 안전한 프로그램 공유 시스템을 제시해 본다.

전자거래기술이 발전되면서 인터넷을 통해 다양한 포맷의 전자문서가 유통되기 시작하였다. 이로 인해 상이한 문서 포맷간의 호환성 결여와 문서 데이터의 교환 등의 문제가 대두되기 시작하였다. 이를 위해 많은 전자문서가 XML 포맷으로 작성, 유통되기 시작하였다. 하지만 대부분의 XML 전자문서는 일정한 형식을 가지면서 분량이 적은 서식문서를 대상으로 개발되고 있으며 분량이 방대하고 비정형 구조를 갖는 기술문서에 대한 XML 전자문서의 연구 개발은 많지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구는 이러한 기술문서를 XML 전자문서로 할 때 공통으로 표현될 수 있는 정보요소와 정보로서 가치가 있는 구성 항목 등을 분석하여 35종의 공통 정보요소에 대한 XML 스키마를 개발하였다.

최근 주목할만한 인터넷 보안기술 중 공개키 암호화 시스템을 이용해 향상된 보안수준을 제공하기 위한 기반 기술인 PKI(Public Key Infrastructure)는 각종 전자상거래 제반기술로 작용한다는 점에서 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 이와 더불어 최근 차세대 웹 표준문서 포맷으로 부상되고 있는 XML(extensible Markup Language)은 B2B 문서교환과 데이터 전송 및 검색 부문에서 광범위하게 활용됨으로써, XML문서에 대한 보안 및 XML을 활용한 PKI 기술적용을 위한 표준화 작업 또한 활발히 연구되고 있다. 그 결과 Microsoft, Verisign 그리고 Webmethods가 주축이 되어 XML기반 파세대 PKI기술인 XKMS(Xml Key Management Specification)를 개발하였으며, XKMS 표준화 작업에 그 외 다수의 주력업체들이 참여하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 XKMS의 표준화를 진행중인 표준화 단체의 동향을 파악하고, PKI의 전반적인 기술 및 XKMS 기술의 내부적인 구조를 분석한다.

본 논문에서는 EDI개념을 간략히 알아보고 인터넷 환경에서의 EDI 기술 동향을 연구하였다. EDIFACT, MIME, XML/EDI, ebXML등의 표준화 작업을 간단히 소개하고 전통적인 VAN EDI, Web EDI, XML/EDI 메시징 시스템 유형 및 특성을 비교 분석하여 EDI 기술 동향을 조망한다.
