The distinguished prosperity of information technologies from great progress of e-business during the last decade has unavoidably made software development for active data mining to discovery hidden predictive information regarding business trends and behavior from vary large databases. Therefore this paper develops an active mining object(ADMO) component, which provides real-time predictive information from web databases. The ADMO component is to extended ADO(ActiveX Data Object) component to active data mining component based on COM(Component Object Model) for application program interface(API). ADMO component development made use of window script component(WSC) based on XML(eXtensible Markup Language). For the purpose of investigating the application environments and the practical schemes of the ADMO component, experiments for diverse practical applications were performed in this paper. As a result, ADMO component confirmed that it could effectively extract the analytic information of classification and aggregation from vary large databases for Web services.

Although neoplastic involvement of the pericardium is frequently present postmortem, cardiac manifestations before death are uncommon, and cardiac tamponade as the initial presentation of cancer is rare. We are presenting a metastatic pericardial tumor with cardiac tamponade of unknown primary neoplasm. The patient brought to hospital in a state of unconscious. The chest x-ray film showed cardiomegaly with a globular heart shape and right pleural effusion. We underwent an anterior thoracotomy and pericardial window was created. The histopathologic finding of pericardium, pleural and pericardial effusion show a metastatic adenocarcinoma. The patient subsequently received adjuvent radiotherapy and chemotherapy, but he expired on the postoperative 132 day.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 실현을 위해 센서 네트워크 기반의 다양한 위치인식 연구가 수행되었다. 특히 근거리 위치 인식 분야에서는 RSSI를 이용한 위치 인식에 관한 연구가 활발하였으나 RSSI는 통신 환경에 민감하여 균일한 위치 정보 결과를 획득하기 어려우며, RSSI 값을 기반으로 삼각측량 등의 위치 계산을 소프트웨어적으로 처리하기 때문에 응답 속도가 늦다는 단점이 있다. 따라서 최근 Chipcon에서는 CC243x 시리즈에 위치 계산 엔진(Location Engine)을 탑재하여 응답 속도에 대한 종전의 단점을 보완하였으나 여전히 위치 값이 고르지 못한 부분은 개선되지 않았다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 통신 환경으로 인한 위치 정보의 불균등함을 개선하고자 선형 윈도우 알고리즘을 제안한다. 선형 윈도우는 위치 정보에 대한 스무팅을 수행하며, 이를 통해 응답 속도의 저하를 최소화시키면서 위치 변화를 고르게 한다.

In the large and multifunctional engineering system, the heterogeneous computer system situation is inevitable. Accordingly a lot of integration efforts are being made to comply with the industrial requirement of productivity. In this paper, a practical concept of integration is introduced through the development of a prototype system for ship outfitting design which is a typical example of large/multi-functional application system. On the development of the prototype system, three points are considered as a practical concept-which are integration of database, integration of application programs, and system-user interface. The relation model based commercial database management system(RDBMS) is used to build the project integrated database, and the graphical user interface tool(OSF/Motif) on X-window system is used for the integration of application programs and the user interface.

최근 빠른 응답성과 정확성을 요구하는 임베디드 시스템의 사용이 증가됨에 따라 임베디드 시스템의 시간 정확성을 만족 시키는 경성 실시간성의 중요성이 커지고 있다. 이러한 임베디드 시스템의 운영체제로는 응용프로그램 개발의 편의성을 위해 범용 운영체제인 Linux를 많이 사용하며, Linux에 실시간성 제공을 위해 RT-Linux(Real Time - Linux)를 사용하고 있다. RT-Linux의 경우 경성 실시간성을 제공하지만 어셈블러를 사용해야 하므로 개발자가 다루기 힘들다는 단점이 존재한다. 이에 따라 Linux에 경성 실시간성을 제공하고 개발자에게 개발의 편의성을 제공하는 방법에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 범용운영체제인 Linux에 경성 실시간성을 제공하기 위해 x86기반의 Window에 실시간성을 제공하는 RTiK(Real-Time implanted Kernel)을 Linux에 모듈 형태로 적재하여 실시간성을 제공할 수 있는 방법을 설계 및 구현하였다.

Local area networks(LANs) recently become so large that they exceed their architected limits and users on different LANs may need to talk each other. This trend has led to a growth in the practice of interconnecting many heterogeneous LANs. In this paper, we proposed a method to interconnect Ethernets and token rings, which are widely used today, through a fast FDDI network. We also developed a simulation tool to evaluate the performances of the interconnected networks. We used a simulation language SLAM II for modeling and OSF/MOTIF X-window for user interface. The developed tool can be used to make a decision which interconnecting method is suitable for a given environment before interconnecting many heterogeneous LANs.

We have successfully demonstrated metal-ferroel-ectric-insulator-semiconductor (MFIS) devices using Al/LiNbO$_{3}$/SiN/Si structure. The SiN thin films were made into metal -insulator- semiconductor (MIS) devices by thermal evaporation of aluminum source in a dot away on the surface. The interface property of MFIS from 1MHz & quasistatic C-V is good and the memory window width is about 1.5V at 0.2V/s signal voltage sweep rate. The gate leakage current density of MFIS capacitors using a aluminum electrode showed the least value of 1x10$^{-8}$ A/$\textrm{cm}^2$ order at the electric field of 300㎸/cm. And the XRD patterns shows the probability of applications of LN for MFIS devices for FeRAMs on amorphous SiN buffer layer.

This paper presents a design and implementation of CAD(Computer-Aided Design) system with tools and design environments for IC(Intergrated Circuits)design. The CAD system can be easily installed in various sites with limited resources, since most CAD tools and design environments are available in the public-domain and Unix & X Window-based PC-386 and Workstation is used for the hardware platform. In order to improve the flexibility of the CAD system, objects are defined in the context of tools and environments` and object tables are programmed to describe the integration of CAD tools and design environments. During the execution, tool-objects deal with intertool communication and round-robin mechanism to incrementally control the execution of CAD tools. The IC design of LPC(Linear Predictive Coding) Speech Synthesizer is carried out to find out improvements and bugs of the CAD system.

In this paper, We prepared the thin film Cu-doped CdS Photovoltaic Cell, varying deposition condition by E-beam process and investigated its properties. After the Cu/CdS films were deposited on transparent ITO glass. We heat-treated to diffuse Cu atoms to CdS fi1m at 350[$^{\circ}C$]. With deposited Cu-doped CdS film. We investigated the electrical. optical. X-ray diffraction and junction property. We studied how to prepare the High conversion efficiency Solar cell window layer.

최근 정보 보안에 대한 연구 및 개발이 활발하게 이루어지고 있으며, 그 중 보안 API 는 보안 서비스를 제공하는 인터페이스 규격으로서 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 대표적인 보안 API 로는 MS의 CryptoAPI, Intel 보안 구조인 CDSA 의 CSSM API, IETF의 GSS-API/IDUP-GSS-API, X/Open 그룹의 GCS-API 등이 있다. 보안 API 는 응용 개발자와 보안 장비 개발자의 편리성 및 독립성을 최대한 보장할 수 있어야 하지만, 실제 구현 환경에서 부딪치는 문제는 OS 플랫폼이 기반이 되지 못한 경우 시스템 보안 구조의 계층화가 어렵고, 실제 구현 환경에서 호환성을 보장할 수 없다는 것이다. 이러한 관점에서 MS의 CryptoAPI는 응용 및 보안 장비의 개발 규격 및 절차를 제안하고 있으며, 두 분야의 개발자 사이의 연동은 시스템 OS인 Windows가 담당하고 있다.
