감성조명(感性照明, FEELighting : Feeling + Lighting) 디자인 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design Development of FEELighting (Feeling + Lighting))

  • The following research focused on developing a new concept of lighting design with design factors which considered combining common natural objects with feelings. The purpose of this research is to write a thesis that deals with the whole process of developing a design for 'FEELighting' that is applicable to daily life through developing a form of lighting, which prioritizes feelings rather than materials, forms, or functions, and enhance the quality of people's lives. In particular, the process has been materialized by defining a new concept of 'FEELighting' (Feeling + Lighting), researching and analyzing the original and unfamiliar correlation between feeling and lighting, and choosing the embedded acrylics lighting items that can undergo small quantity batch production. As a result, prototypes of various forms of lightings that could be applied to daily lives -ceiling lights, wall light lamps, and table lamps-, which were made by combining numerous common natural objects and surpassed simple function and created to surpass simple lighting function, were presented through every process of design development.

  • To interpret the perception that originates from tactile sensibility during people touch and recognize the object surfaces, this study focuses on the development of a friction model that can describe the interaction of a stylus pen sliding over the counter surfaces. In addition, the study includes several other experimental factors such as the pressure, temperature, and topology of surface, which can have an effect on the emotional user experience concerning various surfaces; this research aims to suggest a method to quantitatively evaluate the relation between these experimental parameters and emotional user experience. Accordingly, the objective of research comprises the friction characteristic technology for measurement of fine tribological behavior and a standard to quantify the emotional feedback. Existing panels or input devices that provide interaction feedback about user actions simply operate with a single frequency vibration or sound response. On the contrary, this research investigates various interaction characteristics including friction force, frequency, and surface topology synthetically. Using the developed model, which can explain the relation between the friction parameters and emotional user experience, developers can design their product in order to provide the user with expected emotional sensibility. Consequently, it can contribute to reduce the development cost about sensitivity model.

Effects of Ongoing Feedback on Students' Attitudes towards Writing

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of ongoing feedback from the professor in students' processes of learning and developing writing skills. Specifically, the researcher was concerned with how ongoing feedback affected students' attitudes towards writing because in EFL contexts, motivating students to write is a first step to engage them in a challenging journey of academic writing. 20 freshmen taking a writing course, "Paragraph & Essay Writing", at A university participated in this study and they were asked to complete the questionnaire at the end of the spring semester 2009. The results revealed that receiving ongoing feedback from the professor had a positive influence on affective domain, was helpful to develop learning strategies, and was valuable in learning outcomes. However, they also expressed negative opinions: feeling a burden, focusing on forms, and feeling confused. To reflect their opinions, the following four suggestions were made to create a more effective learning environment: promoting learner autonomy, facilitating individual writing conferences, giving balanced feedback in between form and content, and using judicious feedback through careful streaming.

간호학생의 분만관찰경험 (The Observational Experience of Labor and Delivery by Student Nurses in the Clinical Setting)

  • The purpose of this study was to use phenomenological perspectives to identify the meaning and structure of the observational experience of labor and delivery by student nurses in the clinical setting. The participants were 115 junior and senior students from Christian College of Nursing in Kwang Ju. The students were asked to write about their observational experience in the delivery room. Colaizzi's method was used for phenomenological analysis. The investigator analysed the data to identify and categorize themes and basic structural elements. Twelve themes and eight basic structure were identified. The process of the observational experience in labor and delivery has three proposed phases : anticipatory, observational and post-observational. In the anticipatory phase, nursing students were related only to the event of anticipated labor and delivery of clients. Structure 1, feeling of expectation and fear, was identified. In the observational phase, students were related to the labor and delivery situation, a woman delivered and a newborn. Structure 2, shock and suffering, was identified in relation to the labor and delivery situation. Structure 3, need for caring and satisfaction, was identified in relation to the woman delivered. Structure 4, feeling of mystery and joy, was identified in relation to the newborn. In the post-observational phase, relations between students and the life of a human being, students and self in the future, students and their mothers and students and women and God appeared. And in these relations 〈structure 5, valuable〉, 〈structure 6, feeling of expectation and fear〉, 〈structure 7, love and appreciation〉 and 〈structure 8, greatness〉 were identified.

간호 대학생의 영적 간호 경험 분석 (A Study of Nursing Students' Spiritual Care Experiences)

  • The purpose: This study was to describe the spiritual nursing care experiences of nursing students who were in a university, Seoul, Korea. Method: This study is based on descriptive analysis of case studies that were submitted by nursing students. Nursing students were 64 person who were sophomores in a university of the year 2000, 2001. Results: 1. The problems that students report for their subjects were: Loss of self-confidence, body image complex, health status problems, maladaptability, economic problems of home, guilty feeling, problems with dating, loneliness, uncertainty of their future, faith problem, accountability, stress and apart from intimate friends. 2. The methods which students use to solve the subjects's problems were: prayer with subjects, use the Scripture, conversation, meet frequently, listening, frequent phone call, explore problem solving methods together, write letters or E-mails, present with books or music CD etc. 3. After the students have experienced spiritual nursing care they feel that: satisfaction, lack of knowledge of spiritual care, understanding the importance of spiritual nursing care make a new resolution for others, understanding the importance of listening, understanding the power of prayer, the need of Bible study. Conclusion: Maintaining spiritual wellness is a important as maintaining physical fitness and essential for optimal well being. Therefore educating nursing students in developing and maintaining spiritual wellness is essential for the patient to achieve holism.

경음화의 심리적 실체 (The Psychological Reality of Intensification)

  • This paper deals with the nature and function of intensification in Korean in a wider scope of intensification which was not paid proper attention including intensification in the initial position as well as middle position. Unobserved new areas of intensification in the initial position are paid more attention like sound split of polysemy e.g. (s'eda), (kyongk'i) by means of intensification and north Korean application of intensification on (wonsu) and intensification of borrowed English. The recent phenomenon of ‘gwua’ intensification is experimented on two groups of people, young students and old people beyond 65 years old by means of sociolinguistic analysis. The result shows that its intensification is a form of student violent power and a mark of extreme solidarity among activist students. Thirty three university students(male 16, female 17) are asked to explained to write the meanings(feelings or when to use, etc.) of the words which have normal form and intensified forms. The results show intensification attaches the meaning of ‘emphasis,’ to bring the extremely polarized emotion: samll to the smallest, exact to the perfect exactness, bad to the worst feeling. Four words are being split to express different meaning with the word intensified. In conclusion, the nature of so called saisiot(t) e.g. intensification is voiceless tensed pause and its functions are the polarization of the original meaning of the word, sound split of polysemy and attachment of social values by intensification.

대학생의 성교육 효과측정을 위한 기초 연구 (A preliminary study for the evaluation of the effects of sex education program on college students)

  • This study was performed to provide preliminary data for the development of a useful instrument to measure the effect of sex education. The study was conducted with the voluntary participation of 155 college students enrolled in the course "Sexuality and Relationship" at Y university in Seoul. At the end of that course, they were asked to write freely about the change they had experienced on sexuality. All meaningful statements were elicited and classified into 7 categories; "Change of Knowledge", "Enlightenment", "Change of Attitude on Sexuality", "Buildup of Ability", "Buildup of. Identity", "Change of Emotion", "Change of Behavior:' There were significant changes in the areas of knowledge(28. 6%), enlightenment(27.4%), and attitudes(20.3%) about sexuality among these 7 categories. The Change of Knowledge category consists of 3 areas: "concretion of knowledge", "increase of information", and "correction of misunderstanding." In the category of Enlightenment, total 12 areas are included: "sex role", "erception of lack of knowledge", "importance of family", "life plan", "parent role", "value of life", "equality", "sexual autonomy", "importance of sexuality", "freedom of sexuality", "perception of sexual problem", and "meaning of love." The Attitude Change category consists of 8 areas. These are "being natural", "being progressive", "being sensitive", "being truthful", "being expressive", "being cautious", "being responsible", and "being confident". The category of Buildup of Ability includes 4 areas: "problem solving", "sex education", "relationship", and "communication". The category of Buildup of Identity includes "sexual identity", and "value of sexuality". The Emotional Change category includes 3 areas: "positive feeling", "negative feeling", and "breaking from negative feeling on sexuality". The Behavior Change category includes "sex-related behavioral change". In conclusion, up to now most researches on sex education effect measures only changes of knowledge, attitude, and behavior. But we believe the changes in "Enlightenment", "Buildup of Ability", "Buildup of Identity", "Change of Emotion", should be included in addition to knowledge, attitude, and behavior in the development of an instrument to measure the sex education effects. And the effect of sex education should measure the degree of learning of autonomy, enlightenment, and ability of behavior and so on rather than studying the simple changes in sexuality.enment", "Buildup of Ability", "Buildup of Identity", "Change of Emotion", should be included in addition to knowledge, attitude, and behavior in the development of an instrument to measure the sex education effects. 악성 댓글의 특성: 한국어와 영어의 인터넷 뉴스 댓글 비교 (The Characteristics of Malicious Comments: Comparisons of the Internet News Comments in Korean and English)

  • 인터넷 뉴스 댓글이 보편화 됨에 따라 악성 댓글이 확산되었고 이는 많은 사회 문제를 일으켜 왔다. 글은 심리 상태나 성격을 반영하기 때문에 악성 댓글을 분석하면 댓글을 작성할 때의 마음 상태를 추론할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 영어권과 한국어권의 악성 댓글을 LIWC와 KLIWC를 사용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 영어와 한국어 공통으로 문장, 어절, 형태소, 문장 당 어절, 문장 당 형태소, 긍정적인 정서, 인지적 과정을 나타내는 단어가 악성 댓글이 일반 댓글보다 적게 사용되었으며, 3인칭 단수, 화, 정서적 과정을 나타내는 단어, 물리적 상태와 기능을 나타내는 단어, 속어가 악성 댓글이 일반 댓글보다 많이 사용되었다. 이는 악성 댓글을 작성할 때 사람들이 분노의 감정을 조절하지 못하고 충분히 생각하지 않은 상태에서 글을 작성하고 있음을 나타낸다. 따라서 댓글 작성 시, 작성 글을 모니터링 하도록 유도하거나 부정적 정서의 어휘가 많이 사용된 글을 다른 이용자에게 노출 시키지 않는 등의 방법을 인터넷 뉴스 서비스 제공자가 고려할 필요가 있다. 한편, 영어의 악성 댓글과 한글의 악성 댓글은 진정성 측면에서 차이가 발생했다. 좀 더 객관적 연구를 위해서 여러 시점의 댓글을 모집할 필요가 있다.

청소년 성교육을 위한 성성(性性)의 재개념화 커리큘럼 모색 : N번방 시대, 여성신학적 관점에서 '몸'과 '성'을 새롭게 이야기하다 (Searching for a Curriculum to Reconceptualize Sexuality for Youth Sex Education : Nth Room Era, New Talk of 'Body' and 'Sex' from a Feminist Theological Point of View)

  • 연구자는 현대 한국 사회에 큰 충격을 던져주었던 N번방 사건을 계기로 한국 청소년성교육을 둘러싼 각종 논쟁들과 시각의 차이를 살펴보았다. 한국 청소년 성교육은 학교 성교육과 및 청소년성문화센터를 통해 이루어지는 공적 성교육과 보수적·전통적 개신교 성교육으로 나누어질 수 있다. 공적 성교육은 여성주의 성윤리 및 해외의 포괄적 성교육의 영향을 일부 받아 성인지 감수성 및 성적 자기 결정권을 기본으로 성희롱, 성매매, 성폭력, 가정폭력 예방의 4가지 예방을 주요 사업으로 실시 중이다. 단, 학교 성교육표준안은 성역할 고정관념 및 성차별적 내용, 성폭력에 대한 왜곡된 통념 강화 및 성적 다양성과 다양한 가족 형태의 배제 등으로 비판받았으며, 청소년성문화센터 교육의 일부 내용 역시 마찬가지의 비판을 받고 있다. 보수적·전통적 개신교는 양성에 의한 결혼 등의 정상 가족 이데올로기와 혼전순결주의, 결혼 관계 안에서만 인정되는 성관계 윤리 등을 기본으로 하여 청소년들에게 피임법을 성에 대한 생물학적이고 의학적 지식을 가르치는 것-피임법 등-에 대해 강하게 반대하면서 공적 성교육과 대치하는 형태를 이루고 있다. 연구자는 한국 청소년 성교육을 위한 커리큘럼을 구성하면서 먼저 공적 성교육, 보수적·전통적 개신교 성윤리와 성교육, 여성주의 성윤리와 성교육, 해외 청소년성교육의 특징을 각각 분석하였다. 그리고 청소년 성교육의 보다 근본적인 해결책으로 금욕주의나 혼전순결주의, 성인지 감수성과 성적 자기결정권 교육으로는 한계가 있음을 지적하면서 이의 대안을 여성신학에서 말하는 몸과 성 개념에서 찾았다. 연구자는 다양한 여성신학자의 연구를 중심으로 왜곡된 성인식과 성문화는 이원론적 성과 몸 이해가 가장 근본적인 원인이라는 인식 하에 몸과 성에 대한 재개념화가 필요하다고 지적하며 이를 통전적 성, 타인과의 관계 속에서 이해되는 상호연대적인 성, 전 지구적인 공동체로 확장되는 영성으로서의 성 개념의 세 가지로 개념화하였다. 그리고 각각의 영역을 위한 교육과정으로 1)통전적 성: 호흡하기, 내러티브, 자신의 몸과 마음의 형태를 만들어보기 2)타인과의 관계성 안에서 이해되어지는 상호연대적인 성: 다른 사람의 호흡 느껴보기, 의식화를 통한 미디어 리터러시, 선한 바람 보내기 3)전 지구적 관심으로 확장되는 영성으로서의 성: 자연에 주의를 기울이고 공동 경작하기, 지구의 신음을 듣고 새로운 삶의 형식 만들어가기, 지구 및 동료 생명체들과 함께 하는 기도문 작성하기로 제안하였다.
