Dendrobium speciosum 에탄올 추출물의 melanin 생성 억제 효능 및 주름개선 효과 (Anti-melanogenesis and Anti-wrinkle Properties of Korean Native Dendrobium speciosum Ethanol Extract)

  • 본 연구에서는 Dendrobium speciosum 에탄올추출물의 티로시나아제 억제를 통한 멜라닌형성 저해 효과 및 주름개선효과에 대해 연구하였다. Dendrobium speciosum추출물은 α-MSH만 처리한 군에 비해 티로시나아제 활성을 농도 의존적으로 저해시킴으로서 멜라닌 함량을 감소시켰다. 더 자세한 메카니즘을 알아보기 위하여 멜라닌 합성 관련 유전자인 Tyrosinase-related protein-1, tyrosinase-related protein-2, Microphthalmia-associated transcription factor 발현을 확인하였을 때 Dendrobium speciosum처리군에서 유전자 발현이 농도 의존적으로 감소하였다. 또한 Dendrobium speciosum처리 시 type I procollagen 합성이 증가함으로써 Dendrobium speciosum처리가 collagen 생합성을 증대시킬 것으로 사료된다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 Dendrobium speciosum에탄올 추출물 처리 시 멜라닌합성 관련 유전자의 발현 및 티로시나아제 활성을 저해시켜 멜라닌 합성이 감소됨에 따라 효과적인 미백활성을 가지며 collagen합성을 증대시킴으로서 주름개선에 탁월한 효과를 가지는 것으로 사료되며 이는 기능성 화장품 소재로 사용가능할 것으로 사료된다.

  • Background: The study reports the effect of Korean medicine treatment on a patient with left facial palsy caused by Wegener's granulomatosis. Case information: The patient was receiving steroid treatment for facial palsy and was hospitalized for 21 days. He received acupuncture, electroacupuncture, bee venom pharmacopuncture, and moxibustion treatment along with Ssanghwa-tang and Cheongansohabwon herbal medicine treatment. During hospitalization, the Sunnybrook facial grading scale, House-Brackmann scale and length of time for the eye to completely close were evaluated at 11/16, 11/21, 11/27, 12/1, and 12/6. Post treatment, the degree of the movement in the left eyelid was improved, it took less time for the eye to close completely, the movement of the forehead wrinkle muscles improved, but that of the facial muscles under the eyes and left orbicularis oculi muscle showed little improvement. Conclusion: Korean medicine treatment for facial palsy caused by Wegener's Granulomatosis helps restore mobility of the forehead and orbicularis oculi muscles.

키토산 처리한 폴리에스테르 편평사 직물의 고기능화 가공에 관한 연구 (A Study on the High Functional Finishing of Polyester Flat Fabrics Treated with Chitosan)

  • The polyester fabrics were treated with the chitosan with various solubility in optimized treatment condition. The treatment method was discussed to be a high functional finishing for the polyester fabric to obtain the high moisture absorption and anti-microorganism property by evaluating the effect of the chitosan purification method on the yield and anti-microorganism property of the chitosan. On the other hand, soluble polyurethane was added to the chitosan treatment solution and/or plasma pretreatment was done. The addition of soluble polyurethane give a high add-on ratio as well as a linen like effect of treated polyester fabric. The results were as follows: 1. In the treatment of polyester fabric by the chitosan solution, a soluble PU resin and low temperature plasma treatment were done to obtain high binding force between the fabrics and the chitosan. The add-on rate and the moisture absorption ratio of the fabrics treated with the chitosan-PU after treated with the plasma slightly increased more than those of the fabrics treated with the chitosan only. 2. Anti-static property of the fabrics treated with the chitosan decreased rapidly with increasing of the chitosan concentration. The washing fastness of the fabrics treated with the chitosan-PU after treated with the plasma was better than those of the fabrics treated with chitosan only. The wrinkle resistance of the treated fabrics decreased constantly with the concentration of the chitosan. The bending rigidity of the treated fabrics increased greatly. On the treatment of polyester fabric under optimum condition, the microorganism reduction rate kept above 90% after 10times launderings. 3. As the polyester fabrics which has flat yam was used as a weft yams were treated with the chitosan-PU as give a functional finishing effects such as durability, moisture absorption, anti-static and anti- microorganism property. Treated polyester fabric showed a good functional finishing effect and a linen like property.

  • The purpose of this article is to review all the wrinkle treatments reported so far, and to introduce a method of dermal subcision, especially localized fine wrinkles. In order to remove wrinkles, laser, ulthera and drug therapy are commonly used in western medicine while Miso facial rejuvenation acupuncture, $Jung-An$ acupuncture and needle-embedding therapy are used in oriental medicine. However, as researches on fine wrinkles have been insufficiently conducted until now. Dermal subcision stated in this study is considered to be a safe and effective way to ameliorate fine linear-shaped wrinkles around or below eyes and mouth by increasing the circulation of qi and blood. also, reproducing dermal layer. More and further related cases and researches are expected in the future.

  • 기존 재료들의 단점인 재료의 전이성, 염증 유발, 효과의 단기 지속 등의 문제를 해결하기 위하여 PLGA 미립구를 주 재료로 하는 주사 충전재를 개발하였다. 생쥐 실험 결과 염증 반응이 적고 장기 이동성이 없으며 부피 유지 효과가 우수하다는 결론을 내렸으며 추가적으로 장기 추가 보완 실험을 실시하여 비뇨기과, 성형외과적 주사용 충전재로써의 적합성을 조사하겠다.

셀룰로오스 재생 인조섬유의 화학개질에 관한 연구 (Chemical Modifications of Regenerated Cellulose Fiber)

  • In this paper, a new regenerated celluosic fiber, "Tencel" was treated with cellulase enzyme. Also Tencel fabrics were pretreated with NaOH and dyed with various reactive dyes, and subsequently finished with DMDHEU. $\Delta{E}^*_{ab}$ value was calculated by measuring color difference before and after wet abrasion test to rubbing. The fibrillation propensity was estimated on Tencel by means of weight loss, $\Delta{E}^*_{ab}$ value, and SEM observation. Weight loss of NaOH pretreated Tencel fabric is more lower than that of original fabric. The cellulase treatment decreased tensile strength but improved wet abrasion strength, wrinkle recovery, and bending properties. Tendency of fibrillation for Tencel fabric was reduced by NaOH-pretreatment, dyeing with multifunctional reactive dyes, and afterfinishing by DMDHEU.by DMDHEU.

  • Since the 1930's, a rapid development of resin processing has contributed to making our clothing life convenient and rich. Wrinkle considered as the largest defect of cellulose fiber is generated from fixation of molecules which are divided by compression or crookedness. It can be protected by building a bridge between the molecules the joint combination of the inside of the fiber. The formaldehyde reactive resin which is used in processing resin is a chemical compound with more than 2 N-methylol or N-alkoxymethylol group and a chemical compound with N-methylol shows the property of W.W and D.P through the very complex bridge-bonding reaction under the OH group of cellulose and acid catalyst. However, if the processing is excessively carried out, resin-processed textile emits the formaldehyde when the bridge bonding agent reacts to amine type under the acid condition or the formaldehyde remains in the condition of non-reaction or the resin combinates by itself, or the methylol group of non-reactive resin is hydrolyzed due to the insufficient themomagnetic treatment.

초음파 처리 인삼화뢰 추출물의 콜라겐 합성작용 및 MMP-1 발현저해 (Inhibition of MMP-1 Expression and Collagen Synthesis Activity of Ultrasonication Processed Ginseng Flower Buds Extract)

  • This study was to evaluate the effect of isopropyl alcohol fraction of ultrasonication processed ginseng flower buds(GFB-IF) on the collagen synthesis activity and inhibition of MMP-1 suppression in UV-irradiated human dermal fibroblasts. The higher contents of ginsenoside Rg2(8.234%), Rh1(5.749%), F4(3.881%) in isopropyl alcohol fraction of ginseng flower buds obtained by ultrasonication process at 600W(100℃) for 16 hours. GFB-IF had collagen synthesis effect. GFB-IF induced a significant dose-dependent decrease in the expression for MMP-1 protein. These results suggest that GFB-IF is a potential candidate for the prevention and treatment of wrinkle improving.

액체암모니아 처리 면직물의 물성 및 염색성 (Physical Properties and Dyeability of Cotton Fabrics Treated with Liquid Ammonia)

  • It is generally known that cotton treated with liquid ammonia has better soft handle, wrinkle recoveries and stability of appearance as compared with the alkali mercerized cotton. In this study, the various cotton fabrics treated with liquid ammonia$(NH_3)$, sodium hydroxide(NaOH) and sodium hydroxide(NaOH)/liquid ammonia$(NH_3)$ and untreated cotton fabric were investigated and compared in terms of physical properties and dyeing behavior. As the result, the strength of four kinds of cotton fabrics were similar. But the elongation of cotton treated with liquid ammonia increased slightly. Liquid ammonia treatment reduced the crystallinity of cotton and the crystalline structure of cotton transformed from cellulose 1 to mixed structure of celluloseIand III. In dyeing, dyeing rate decreased but equilibrium dye uptake increased by liquid ammonia treatment of cotton fabrics.
