치과위생사의 요통 발생에 관한 연구 (Occurrence of Low Back Pains for Dental Hygienists)

  • The purpose of this study,was to find out health status, characteristics related to working conditions, occurrence of low back pain and its related factors among dental hygienists working in dental clinics, and, thus, to provide basic information necessary to set up some plans for preventing the occurrence of low back pains and improving working conditions for dental hygienists. The data were collected from 310 dental hygienists working at dental clinics in Pusan and Kyungnam area, including Masan, Changwon, Jinhae and Jinju, with a self-administered questionnaire and were analyzed finally for 295 records with SPSS for Windows(7.52K) program. The results were as follows : Working condition was considered to be fair by 562% of dental hygienists were thought to threaten their health in the dental clinics. About seventy percent of dental hygienists worked over ten hours a day and 72.8% were standing while working over 7 hours, 65% considered working hours too long. Health status was thought be more than average for 82.3% while more than half perceived certain degree of stress frequently. The rate of complaining low back pains among dental hygienists was 87.8% with pains more than medium level for 39.3%. The variables significantly related to the degree of low back pains were height, uncomfortable postures, type of working postures and the height of working table, while some variables including height, hours of working on the feet, the presence of hazardous work environment, uncomfortable postures, the presence of hazardous works, the amount of working hours, type of working postures and work-associated stresses, were significantly related to the number of symptoms for low back pains. Multiple regression analysis showed that occurrence of low back pains was significantly influenced by 5 factors such as subjective status of health, work-related stresses, the degree of perception to work environment, the degree of perception to the amount of working hours and age. In conclusion, it might be necessary to manage working conditions effectively by reducing working hours, making good postures while working and removing stressful conditions in order to reduce risk factors for the occurrence of low back pains among dental hygienists. Therefore good working postures, assignment of appropriate rest time and some programs for early detection, care and education of low back pains should be provided for the dental hygienists.

  • 정보기술의 발달에 따라 집에서 근무하는 재택근무제는 조직과 조직원 모두에게 도움이 되는 미래지향적인 근무방식으로 인식되고 있으며, 선진국을 중심으로 재택근무제에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 기업에 요구되는 비용절감 압력 가중에 따라서 재택근무제가 조직 경쟁력 제고의 중요한 수단으로 고려되고 있으나, 재택근무제도에서 발생할 수 있는 조직원의 이탈 및 통제 문제에 대한 연구가 부족한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 기존 연구에서 논의되었던 보상전략들과 조직몰입의 관계를 재택 및 내근의 상이한 근무제도 상황에서 비교하여 제시하였다. 이를 통하여, 상이한 근무제도에서 기업이 선택해야할 보상전략을 찾고자 하였다. 연구의 결과, 기업의 외재적 내재적 보상이 근로자의 지속적 몰입에 미치는 영향요소임을 확인하였으며, 근로자가 지각하는 정서적 몰입이 규범적 몰입을 매개로 지속적 몰입에 영향을 미치는 단계적 과정을 검증하였다. 특히, 보상지원전략이 조직원의 몰입에 미치는 영향이 근무제도(내근직과 재택근무)에 따라 상이하게 발생함이 실증하였다.

한국 근로자의 요통 유병률과 근로환경의 연관성에 관한 연구 (A study on the relations between Low Back Pain and Working Conditions among Korean Employees)

  • Objectives: This study examines the occurrence of disease resulting from low back pain and factors of working environment meaningfully influencing the occurrence of lumbago as well as analyzes '2nd Korean Working Condition Survey (KWCS)' conducted in 2010 so as to establish the prevention and improvement measures. Methods: The analysis method is that it is to compare the prevalence rate of low back pain according to working environment via odds ratio and to implement the test about the factors having the difference in working environment between low back pain group and normal group through weighted t-test. Results: As a result, it indicates that there is a meaningful difference for prevalence rate of low back pain according to age, status in employment and education level which are socio-demographical factors. The analysis in working hours shows that the period of work is a factor raising the prevalence rate of low back pain rather than weekly working hours. The analysis in the work risk factor indicates that the increase in prevalence rate of low back pain takes place to either workers with repetitive movement and continuously standing posture or those with heavy stress and emotional labour. Conclusions: Workers with low back pain have suffered from accident, depression, anxiety disorder and sleep. The factors in which the prevalence rate of low back pain decrease are to provide information on health and safety and working speed, and enough rest.

Association between long working hours and liver enzymes: evidence from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 2007-2017

  • Background: Long working hours causes several health risks, but little is known about its effects on the liver. This study aimed to examine the correlation between working hours and abnormal liver enzyme levels. Methods: We used data from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey IV-VII. For the final 15,316 study participant, the information on working hours was obtained through questionnaires, and liver enzyme levels, consisting of serum levels of aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT), through blood tests. The relationship between weekly working hours and abnormal levels of liver enzymes was analyzed using multiple logistic regression, and a trend test was also conducted. Results: In male, working ≥ 61 hours per week was significantly associated with elevated AST and ALT levels compared with working 35-52 hours per week. Even after adjusting for covariates, the odds ratios (ORs) of abnormal AST and ALT increased by 1.51 (95% confidence interval: 1.20-2.05) and 1.25 (1.03-1.52), respectively, and a dose-response relationship was observed. This association was more prominent among the high-risk group, such as those aged > 40 years, obese individuals, worker on non-standard work schedule, pink-collar workers, or temporary worker. No correlation was observed in female. Conclusions: Long working hours are associated with abnormal liver function test results in male. Strict adherence to statutory working hours is necessary to protect workers' liver health.

문헌정보학과 학생의 도서관 업무 경험에 관한 연구 - B도서관 서포터즈 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Library Working Experience of Students Majoring in Library and Information Science : Focusing on the Case of Supporters at Library B)

  • 본 연구에서는 도서관 업무 경험이 문헌정보학과 대학생의 진로에 대한 인식에 미치는 영향에 대해 탐구하고자 한 질적 사례연구이다. 이를 위하여 경기도 수원의 B도서관에서 도서관 서포터즈로 활동하고 있는 학생 19명을 대상으로 하여 진로 목표와 진로선택, 서포터즈 참여 경험, 서포터즈 프로그램에 대한 인식, 서포터즈 프로그램을 통한 진로에 대한 생각의 변화를 파악하기 위해 개별 심층면담을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 학생들은 도서관 서포터즈 활동이 미래 사서를 위한 준비가 되고 실제 사서업무를 배울 수 있는 매우 의미 있는 활동이라고 인식하고 있었다. 또한 미래 직업을 선택할 때 도서관 업무가 자신과 맞는지 맞지 않은지 미리 판단해 볼 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되는 것으로 나타났다.

WCDMA에서의 IP Security 기술 동향 분석

  • 본 논문은 비동기 방식의 WCDMA 시스템에서 특히 IP Multimedia Subsystem의 도입과 함께 IP Security 기술이 어떤 형식으로 적용되어 표준화되고 있는지 기술동향을 알아보고자 한다. 현재 WCDMA 시스템에서의 IP Security 기술은 일반 네트워크 영역 보안 분야와 WLAN Inter-working 분야 그리고 IMS 보안 분야에 적용되고 있다. 가장 기본이 되는 네트워크 영역 보안은 3GPP 표준화 규격인 TS 33.210에 정의되어 있고, 이를 바탕으로 WLAN Inter-working 분야에서는 IKE version 2가 추가되었으며, IMS 보안 분야에서는 네트워크 영역 보안에서 정의된 Z 인터페이스를 이용하여 해당 트래픽에 대한 보안을 수행한다.

중소기업의 물리적 업무환경이 직무만족 및 직무성과에 미치는 영향 -개인집중업 공간, 협업 공간, 어메니티 공간을 중심으로- (Influences of Physical Work Environment on Job Satisfaction and Job Performance -Focusing on Personal Working, Co-Working and Amenity Space-)

  • 본 연구는 중소기업의 물리적 업무 환경이 업무 만족과 업무 성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하기 위해 이루어졌다. 본 연구를 위해 물리적 업무 환경을 세분화하여 개인집중업무 공간, 협업 공간, 어메니티 공간으로 나누어 연구 모형을 설정하였다. 실증 분석을 위해 중소기업 종사자를 대상으로 설문을 조사하였다. 유효한 250부를 분석의 대상으로 삼았다. SPSS 24를 활용하여 다중회귀방식으로 가설을 검정하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 개인집중업무 공간, 협업 공간, 어메니티 공간 모두 중소기업 종업원의 직무 만족에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 개인집중업무 공간, 협업 공간은 직무 성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 어메니티 공간은 직무 성과에 유의한 영향 관계가 검정되지 않았다. 물리적 업무 환경과 종업원의 직무 만족, 직무 성과간의 관계를 규명한 연구가 부족한 상황에서 이들의 인과관계를 규명한 것이 본 연구의 기여도로 사료된다. 향후 연구에서는 궁극적으로 기업의 경영성과와의 관계 규명이 필요할 것으로 보인다.

EPC 기반의 제조 공정 협업을 위한 중립 데이터 생성 알고리즘 (Neutral Data Generation Algorithm for EPC-based Manufacturing Process Collaboration)

  • 선 해양 분야와 같이 복잡성이 높은 EPC(engineering, procurement, construction) 기반의 제조 공정시에는 협업 업체 간 협업 작업용 데이터가 매우 상세한 수준까지 상호 참조됨으로써 유기적인 현장 업무가 실현될 수 있는 방안이 필수적이다. 그러나 기업 별 고유한 SW의 사용과 현장 관리 체계의 복잡성으로 인하여 업체 상호 간 현장의 작업 정보를 포함한 진행 상태가 실시간 수준으로 공유되지 못하고 있어 이로 인하여 공정 지연 및 자원 투입의 비효율이 초래되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 파일 형태로 존재하는 작업 정보를 협업 형태의 제조 공정에서 적용할 수 있는 중립 데이터 생성 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 또한 개발된 알고리즘을 조선 해양 플랜트 배관의 제조 공정에 적용하고 생성된 중립 데이터를 활용하여 시각화하는 작업 정보 생성용 SW를 개발하고 좌표, 형상 및 치수, BOM의 종류, 개수, spec값을 비교함으로써 알고리즘의 정확도를 검증하였다. 그 결과 중립 데이터 좌표 정확성은 99%, 중립데이터 형상과 치수는 100%, BOM Spec. 은 100% 일치함을 확인하였다. 이 연구는 기업의 다양한 정보화 기반 기술로 인한 정보 공유의 제약을 극복하고, 복잡한 제조 공정의 작업화일 정보 공유를 극대화할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Development of a Tailored Analysis System for Korean Working Conditions Survey

  • Background: Korean Working Conditions Surveys (KWCS), referencing European Working Conditions Surveys, have been conducted three times in order to survey working condition and develop work-related policies. However, we found three limitations for managing the collected KWCS data: (1) there was no computerized system for managing data; (2) statistical KWCS data were provided by limited one-way communication; and (3) the concept of a one-time provision of information was pursued. We suggest a web-based public service system that enables ordinary people to make greater use of the KWCS data, which can be managed constantly in the future. Methods: After considering data characteristics, we designed a database, which was able to have the result of all pairwise combinations with two extracted data to construct an analysis system. Using the data of the social network for each user, the tailored analysis system was developed. This system was developed with three methods: clustering and classification for building a social network, and an infographic method for improving readability through a friendly user interface. Results: We developed a database including one input entity consisting of the sociodemographic characteristics and one output entity consisting of working condition characteristics, such as working pattern and work satisfaction. A web-based public service system to provide tailored contents was completed. Conclusion: This study aimed to present a customized analysis system to use the KWCS data efficiently, provide a large amount of data in a form that can give users a better understanding, and lay the ground for helping researchers and policy makers understand the characteristics.

물리문제해결 실패자(초심자)와 성공자(전문가)의 문제해결 사고과정에 관한 연구 (A Comparative Analysis of Expert's and Novice's Thinking Processess in Solving Physics Problems)

  • This study intended to find the differences between expert's and novice's thinking processes when they solve physics problems. Five physics professors and twenty sophomore students in a physics department were participated in the study. The researcher investigated their thinking processes in solving three physics problems on NEWTON's law of motion. The researcher accepted so called "Thinking Aloud" method. The thinking processes were recorded and transfered into protocols. The protocols were analysised by problem solving process coding system which was developed by the researcher on the basis of Larkin's problem solving process model. The results were as follows: (1) There was no difference of time required in solving physics problem of low difficulty between expert and novices; but, it takes 1.5 times longer for novices than experts in solving physics problems which difficulties are high and average. (2) Novices used working forward strategy and working backward strategy at the similiar rate in solving physics problems which difficulties were average and low. while Novices mo mostly used working backward strategy in solving physic problems which difficulty was high. Experts mostly used working forward strategy in solving physics problems whose difficulties was average and low, however experts used working forward strategy and working backward strategy at the similiar rate in solving physics problem which difficulty was high. (3) Novices usually wrote only a few information on the diagram of figure they drawn, on the other hand experts usually wrote almost all the information which are necessary for solving the problems. (4) Experts spent much time in understand the problem and evaluation stage than novices did, however experts spent less time in plan stage than novices did. (5) Physics problems are solved in sequence of understanding the problem, plan, carrying out the plan, and evaluation steps regardless of problem difficulty.
