도시 저소득층 가족의 제특성과 주부의 스트레스와의 관계 (The Relationship of Socio-Economic, Residential Characteristics, Values, and Social Networks to Stress among Low-Income Family Wives)

  • This study investigated first, socio-economic, residential characteristics, and values for future life among low-income family wives. Second, the relationship of these characteristics to the wives' stress was examined. The subjects were 249 mothers of urban low-income families whose children attended one of 20 daycare centers located in poor residential areas. The instruments included Social Network Scale, Home Stress Scale, and Occupation Stress Scale. Data were analyzed by means, standard deviations, frequencies, paired t-tests, and the stepwise multiple regressions. We found that a majority of the mothers and their husbands had high school educational status and simple labor or sales/service work status. They lived in rental houses or apartments. Their families of origin were a major source of emotional supports. Insufficient income for non-employed wives, long work hours and lack of free time for employed wives were a major stress. Levels of the wives' home-related job-related stress were negatively related to their own and their hudsbands' work status.

  • For optimal injection molding, various molding conditions should be combined well. Therefore, engineers should be thoroughly familiar with mold design, fabrication, and injection molding. The choice of resin among the various molding conditions is closely related to the productivity of the molded part and the deformation after molding, so the engineer must select the appropriate resin. Engineers work on the basis of data provided by resin manufacturers during molding. However, in actual molding work, it is necessary to apply values slightly different from those provided to obtain molded articles of desired performance. In this study, various deformations of molded products were compared with respect to crystalline resin and amorphous resin when molded according to the data provided by the resin maker and molded at the changed values at the work site.

  • Energy and directional distribution of neutrons at the Beloyarsk NPP workplaces is a subject of this study. Measurements of H*(10) rate and neutron energy distribution were taken at 8 workplaces, which can be divided into three categories: work with spent or fresh nuclear fuel, work with radionuclide neutron sources, work at the rooms adjusted to reactors. The Hp(10) measurements were performed only at 6 out of 8 locations, due to the fact that long term placing of an effective neutron moderator in fresh nuclear fuel storage facility is forbidden. As a result of the research energy and direction distribution of the neutron fields at 8 locations of the Beloyarsk NPP workplaces was obtained. To estimate the accuracy of the H*(10) rate and Hp (10) measurements the reference values of dose equivalents were calculated using energy and directional distribution. To take into account the difference between the reference values and the measured results site-specific correction factors were calculated.

일 종합병원 입원 환자의 간호서비스 만족도와 간호사의 간호 행위 특성간의 관계 연구 (The Correlational study of Nursing Service Satisfaction and Nurse's Nursing activity Styles)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship of nursing service satisfaction and nurse's nursing activity styles in a hospital settings. The subjects of this study were 150 admitted patients in a hospital. The data was collected with Nursing Service Satisfaction Scale developed by Tomas(1996) and modified Nurse's Nursing activity styles Scale developed by Coeling(1993). The results were as follows: 1. The mean score for the level of nursing service satisfaction was 65.00(SD=14.10). The mean score for subcategories of nurse's nursing activity styles were as follow; work difficulties management 9.47(SD=2.02), effective work attitude 23.53(SD=3.14), interpersonal relationship 48.82(SD=6.18), keep regulation 23.24(SD=3.62), professional values 48.28(SD=5.27), and professional development 24.41(SD=3.07). 2. The correlations of nursing service satisfaction and subcategories of nurse's nursing activity styles were revealed a positive significant correlation; work difficulties management(r=0.17, p=0.03), effective work attitude(r=0.44, p=0.00), interpersonal relationship(r=0.51, p=0.00), keep regulation(r=0.44, p=0.00), professional values(r=0.31, p=0.00), professional development(r=0.30, p=0.00). 3. Stepwise multiple regression analysis revealed that the most powerful predictor of nursing service satisfaction was effective interpersonal relationship. A combination of effective work attitude, work difficulties management account for 38% of the variance in nursing service satisfaction of the patient in a hospital. In conclusion, this study revealed that the effective work attitude, interpersonal relationship, and work difficulties management in nursing activity were important factors to improve the level of nursing service satisfaction.

치위생 전공 대학생의 직업 가치관과 전공만족도가 진로 결정 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Work Value and Major Satisfaction of Dental Hygiene Students on Career Decision Self-Efficacy)

  • 본 연구는 치위생 전공 대학생의 직업 가치관과 전공만족도가 진로 결정 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 B 지역 내 치위생 전공 대학생을 대상으로 설문 조사 후 SPSS 24.0 및 AMOS 24.0 프로그램을 통해 실증 분석하였다. 외재적 직업 가치관은 진로 결정 자기효능감에 직접적으로 정(+)의 효과와 매개변수인 전공만족도에 부(-)의 효과가, 내재적 직업가치관은 전공만족도에 직접적으로 정(+)의 효과가 있음이 검정되었다. 또한, 외재적 직업 가치관과 내재적 직업 가치관은 전공만족도를 매개로 진로 결정 자기효능감에 간접효과가 있었다. 이는 진로 결정 자기효능감 향상을 위하여 바람직한 직업 가치관 형성과 전공 만족 수준을 높여야 함을 시사하며, 치위생 전공 대학생의 진로 및 교육 방향 설정의 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

Healthcare Workers' Mental Health in Pandemic Times: The Predict Role of Psychosocial Risks

  • Background: Healthcare workers perform an emotionally exhausting daily work activity, making them prone to occupational hazards, namely psychosocial ones. This study aims to assess the impact of psychosocial risk factors on healthcare workers' mental health. Methods: A cross-sectional study was developed between May and June of 2021 with 479 healthcare workers from Portuguese hospitals. The Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale was used to assess mental health, and psychosocial risks were assessed through the Health and Work Survey - INSAT. Statistical analysis was performed to identify the psychosocial risk factors related to anxiety, depression, and stress. Subsequently, a multiple linear regression was performed to identify the models that better explained psychosocial risk factors' relationship with anxiety, depression, and stress. Results: Data showed a strong exposure to psychosocial risks. Work pace and intensity, work relationships, and emotional demands stood out with higher global average percentages for yes answers to "exposure and discomfort." The analysis of the b values and p-values from the multiple linear regression shows that some cross-sectional psychosocial risks are predictors of anxiety and stress dimensions, and other psychosocial risks differ in the two mental health dimensions. However, it is important to highlight that healthcare workers still showed great joy and pleasure in performing their work activities. Conclusion: Support network development in the work environment is needed to prevent healthcare workers' emotional stress and promote their psychological well-being. Therefore, new research is essential to understand the psychosocial risks that affect healthcare workers and assess the less visible effects of work-health relationships.

Pumpkin Seed Oil as a Partial Animal Fat Replacer in Bologna-type Sausages

  • Beef fat was replaced with cold press pumpkin seed oil (PSO; 0%, 5%, 15%, and 20%) in the production of bologna-type sausages. A value of pH, water-holding capacity (WHC), jelly-fat separation, emulsion stability and viscosity values were determined in meat batters. Thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS), color, and textural characteristics (TPA, shear test, penetration test) were determined in end-product at 1, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days of storage at 4℃. The pH values were varied between 6.06 and 6.08. With the increase in the level of PSO in meat batters, there was a significant increase in WHC, jelly-fat separation and viscosity values (p<0.05) while a significant decrease in emulsion stability (p<0.05). TBARS values of sausages were found to be significantly higher than in the control group (p<0.05), and this trend continued during storage. Increasing of PSO level were caused a significant increase in L* and b* values while a decrease in a* value (p<0.05). Hardness, adhesiveness and chewiness values were significantly reduced whereas cohesiveness and resilience values increased (p<0.05). Maximum shear force and work of shear was significantly decreased as the level of PSO increased (p<0.05). Hardness, work of penetration and the resistance during the withdrawal of the probe values (penetration tests) increased significantly with the increase in the level of PSO (p<0.05). These results indicate that PSO has potential to be use as a replacement of animal-based fats in the production of bologna-type sausages.

치위생과 신입생들의 직업가치관 유형에 대한 요인분석 (Factor Analysis in the Work Values Types of Freshmen's in the Dental Hygiene Department)

  • 본 연구는 치위생과 학생들의 새로운 직업가치관 유형을 구명하는데 있으며, 3개 대학 치위생과 신입생 280명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며, 이 중 242매를 분석하였다. 2차에 걸친 요인분석에 의해 직업가치관을 유형화 하였으며, 이 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 치위생과 신입생들의 직업가치관 유형은 (1) 지위 (2) 경제적 보상 (3) 사회 기여 (4) 성취 (5) 능력 (6) 직업흥미 등 6개 유형으로 분류할 수 있다. 2. 사회기여, 성취, 능력, 직업흥미 유형은 내재적 가치관으로, 지위와 경제적 보상 유형은 외재적 직업가치관으로 분류할 수 있다. 3. 치위생과 신입생들의 외재적 가치관(4.24점)은 내재적 가치관(3.86점)보다 다소 높게 나타났다. 4. 치위생과 신입생들이 중요하게 생각하는 직업가치관 유형은 경제적 보상(4.39점), 지위(4.09점), 성취(4.07점), 능력(3.98점), 직업흥미(3.91점), 사회기여(3.46점) 순으로 나타났다.

미취학 자녀를 둔 취업모의 사회적 안녕감에 관한 연구 (Study of the Social Wellbeing of Working Mothers of Preschool Children)

  • This study examined the social wellbeing of working mothers of preschool children with the aim of identifying relationships between social wellbeing and influencing factors, focusing on the individual, relationship, and work environment of the mothers. Data on 390 working mothers were used for this study. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 18.0 program and descriptive statistics. Pearson's correlation analyses and hierarchical regression analyses were performed. The results show that social wellbeing has significantly positive correlations with education, monthly household income, number of children, age of the first child(8 and over), social capital for childcare, division of childcare, maternal role values, spouse's beliefs about paternal parenting involvement, and family-supportive work environment, as well as significantly negative correlations with weekly working hours, sociological ambivalence, spouse's beliefs about father's breadwinner role and gender-role values, job overload, and gender-role attitudes of coworkers. In addition, hierarchical regression revealed that spouse's beliefs about paternal parenting involvement and a family-supportive work environment were significantly positive predictors of working mothers'social wellbeing, whereas working mothers'sociological ambivalence toward their roles, job overload, and gender-role attitudes of coworkers were significantly negative predictors of working mothers'social wellbeing. These results point to ways of changing education and policy to improve the social wellbeing of working mothers.

난류 가진에 의한 증기발생기 전열관의 마모 일률 평가 (Work-rate Estimation for Predicting Fretting-wear in SG Tubes due to Turbulence Excitation)

  • In this study, amplitudes of turbulence excitation are obtained for selected tubes inside the KSNP SG and their normal work-rates are investigated to estimate the magnitude of fretting-wear. From the results of numerical calculation, row 40&41 tubes show the maximum work-rates. Up to this row number, the work-rates inside the row 41 have much larger values than those of outside tubes. This phenomenon reveals the particular central one which has larger normal work-rate than that of outside zone. It turns out that both of the higher local mode at the U-bend region and the larger value of effective mass in the central region Increase the normal work-rate enormously.
