워라밸 이슈 비교 분석: 한국과 미국 (Comparative Analysis of Work-Life Balance Issues between Korea and the United States)

  • Purpose This study collects the issues about work-life balance in Korea and United States and suggests the specific plans for work-life balance by the comparison and analysis. The objective of this study is to contribute to the improvement of people's life quality by understanding the concept of work-life balance that has become the issue recently and offering the detailed plans to be considered in respect of individual, corporate and governmental level for society of work-life balance. Design/methodology/approach This study collects work-life balance related issues through recruit sites in Korea and United States, compares and analyzes the collected data from the results of three text mining techniques such as LDA topic modeling, term frequency analysis and keyword extraction analysis. Findings According to the text mining results, this study shows that it is important to build corporate culture that support work-life balance in free organizational atmosphere especially in Korea. It also appears that there are the differences against whether work-life balance can be achieved and recognition and satisfaction about work-life balance along type of company or sort of working. In case of United States, it shows that it is important for them to work more efficiently by raising teamwork level among team members who work together as well as the role of the leaders who lead the teams in the organization. It is also significant for the company to provide their employees with the opportunity of education and training that enables them to improve their individual capability or skill. Furthermore, it suggests the roles of individuals, company and government and specific plans based on the analysis of text mining results in both countries.

업무혁신에 대한 조직적 상황과 ERP시스템의 확장이용의도 간의 관계에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Factors Affecting the Relationship between Organizational Context for Work Innovation and Intention of ERP Extension Usage)

  • The purpose of this study is twofold: first, to identify the factors affecting the relationships between the organizational context for work innovation(organizational citizenship behaviors, IS innovation resistance, and user IT capability) and the intention of ERP extension usage, and second, to examine the mediating effect of the ERP performance on the relationships between the ERP adaptation and the intention of ERP extension usage. In order to achieve the goals of this study, data were obtained from 304 members of the seven organizations such as manufacturers, distributors and service industries, and were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 5.0. The study results are as follows. There were positive effects of the organizational citizenship behaviors and the user IT capability on the change management activity. The IS innovation resistance had a negative effects on the change management activity. The change management activity had a positive effect on the ERP adaptation. The ERP adaptation had a positive effect on the ERP performance and the intention of ERP extension usage. The ERP performance had a positive effect on the intention of ERP extension usage. In addition, there was a partial mediating effect of the ERP performance on the relationships between ERP adaptation and intention of ERP extension usage. Based on these findings, the implications and limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.

Effects of Individuals, Leader Relationships, and Groups on Innovative Work Behaviors

  • Purpose - The intent of this research is to discover the factors that enhance innovative work behaviors of group members in order to strengthen the competitiveness of small enterprises. In addition, we verify that employee job characteristic factors have an influence between antecedent variables and dependent variables in the work situations at small companies. Research design, data, and methodology - This study is focused on identifying the factors, such as self-efficacy, leader member exchange (LMX), and collective efficacy, which promote innovative work behaviors. A total of 305 valid questionnaires were collected. Results - The results of a path analysis showed that LMX did not have significant effects on task significance, and autonomy did not have significant effects on innovative work behavior. Conclusions - These findings of the study imply that even though leaders supported the groups in accordance with official procedures by placing group members within or outside certain groups, task identity perceived by group members was not impacted. In addition, autonomy given to those with relatively less capability might be a burden rather than a positive outcome.

  • 오늘날의 도서관은 거의 모든 업무가 자동화 시스템을 중심으로 이루어지는데, 특히 대학도서관은 연구와 학습을 지원하기 위하여 자동화 수준을 높이고 있다. 자동화 시스템을 구성하는 H/W와 S/W에 관련한 전산업무를 수행하는 시스템 라이브러리언은 도서관이 자동화되면서 사서의 전문분야로 새로 생긴 직명이다. 본 연구는 대학도서관 시스템 라이브러리언의 작업성과를 높이는 요인을 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 작업성과는 작업의 질과 양, 개인의 정서적 반응을 의미하며, 개인의 정서적 반응은 작업을 수행한 결과 느끼는 전반적 직무만족, 내적 작업동기 그리고 개인의 성장만족이 포함된다. 연구방법으로는 요인을 직무특성, 조직특성, 개인특성 별로 독립변인으로 작업성과 요소를 종속변인으로 선정하였다. 가설을 설정하고, 질문지를 통하여 입수된 자료를 SPSS for Windows통계 팩키지로 분석하여 이를 검증하였다.

  • 최근 스마트 시대의 도래와 함께 창의적 혁신 역량이 기업 경쟁력의 중요 요소로 된 상황에서 스마트워크 도입에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 국내 중소기업은 스마트워크에 대한 인식 미흡과 구체적인 실행 방법에 대한 이해가 부족하여 대부분의 중소기업은 부분적인 도입에 머무르고 있다. 이러한 환경에서 스마트워크 도입을 촉진하고, 스마트워크 관련 기술에 대한 주도적인 위치를 확보하기 위해서는 스마트워크 시장을 주도할 핵심기술에 대한 표준화 전략 수립 및 체계적인 추진이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국내 중소기업의 스마트워크 도입 현황, 기술 및 표준화 동향 등을 분석하여 우리나라가 선도할 표준화 대상과제를 도출하고 향후 표준화 추진방향을 제시하고자 한다.

사회적기업 경영진의 조직역량이 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Impact of organizational influences of management on organizational performance in social enterprise)

  • 본 연구는 사회적 기업의 조직구성원이 인식하고 있는 경영진의 조직역량(조직관리 역량, 마케팅 역량, 관계형성 역량, 거버넌스 역량)이 조직성과(경제적 사회적)에 미치는 영향요인을 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 사회적 기업 재직자를 대상으로 최종 195부를 IBM SPSS 24.0의 통계프로그램을 활용하여 설정된 연구가설 1(조직역량과 경제적 성과)과 연구가설 2(조직역량과 사회적 성과)에 대한 실증분석 하였다. 가설 1과 가설 2를 검증한 결과 H1-1 H2-1(조직관리 역량과 경제적 성과 사회적 성과), H1-2 H2-2(마케팅 역량과 경제적 성과 사회적 성과), H1-3 H2-3(관계형성 역량과 경제적 성과 사회적 성과), H1-4 H2-4(거버넌스 역량과 경제적 성과 사회적 성과)는 모두 경제적 사회적 성과에 유의한 영향을 미치어 가설1과 가설 2는 채택 되었다. 따라서 사회적 기업의 성공과 발전 및 지속가능 경영을 위해서는 사회적 기업의 실행 주체인 경영진의 조직역량 중요성이 강조되었다. 그러므로 경영진의 조직역량을 전략적으로 향상 강화하기 위한 교육훈련 시스템의 구축과 체계적이며 지속적인 조직역량 향상의 교육체계와 교육이 필요하다.

  • A new UPQC(unified power quality conditioner), which consists of series inverter, shunt inverter, dc/dc converter, and energy storage, is proposed. The proposing UPQC can compensate reactive power, harmonics, voltage sag and swell, voltage unbalance, and voltage interruption. The control strategy for the proposing UPWQC was derived using the instantaneous power method. The performance of proposing system was analyzed by means of the EMTDC/PSCAD simulation and the experimental work with the hardware prototype. The proposing UPQC has the ultimate capability of improving power quality at the point of installation on power distribution systems or industrial power systems and can be utilized for the custom power device in the future distribution system.

고장에 강인한 구형 3자유도 모듈에 관한 기구학적 해석 (Kinematic Analysis of Fault-Tolerant 3 Degree-of-Feedom Spherical Modules)

  • This work deals with kinematic analysis of fault-tolerant 3 degree-of-freedom spherical modules which have force redundancies in its parallel structure. The performance of a redundantly actuated four-legged module with no actuator failure, a single actuator failure, partial and half failure of dual actuator are compared to that of a three-legged module, in terms of maximum force transmission ratio, isotropic characteristics, and fault-tolerant capability. Additionally, a system with an excess number of small floating actuators is considered, and the contribution of these small actuators to the force transmission and fault-tolerant capability is evaluated. This study illustrates that the redundant actuation mode allows significant saving of input actuation effort, and also delivers a fault tolerance.

  • This work describes the effect of conducting composite on the characteristics of electric double layer capacitor. The cell, which was fabricated with conducting composite consisted of 50 wt.% of SPB and 50 wt.% of VGCF, exhibits the higher specific capacitance, the lower resistance and the better rate capability than those of the cells fabricated with each single electronic conductor. These enhanced properties could be related with the dense structure of electrode.

Non-Adiabatic Flamelet Modeling for Combustion Processes of Oxy-Natural Gas Flame

  • In order to realistically predict the combustion characteristics of the oxy-fuel flame, the present study employs the non-adiabatic flame let approach. In this combustion model, the detailed equilibrium chemistry is utilized to accurately account for the thermal dissociation as well as to properly include the radiative cooling effects on the detailed chemistry. Numerical results indicate that the present approach has the capability to correctly capture the essential features and precise structure of the oxy-fuel flames. In this work, the detailed discussion has been made for the characteristics of oxy-fuel flames, the capability and defect of the present approach and also uncertainties of experimental data.
