직무의 질적 수준이 건강수준과 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 (The impact of job quality on health status and job satisfaction)

  • There are so many definition of good work but generally job quality can be useful to analyze the good work. Good work may include some factors about health or working environment. This paper was planned to investigate the level of job quality in Korean employees. Especially comparison of health status between low an high job quality can be analyzed. Korean Working Conditions Survey was used. The various job characteristics were categorized into 6 component of job quality using factor analysis. Statistically mean difference test and cross-tabulation analysis were used to identify the difference of health status and distribution of the level of job quality. The result has shown the different distribution of the level of job quality by the economic sectors and occupations statistically significant. The positive cases of all of six components of job quality was 2.1% of Korean employees and the negative cases of all six components of job quality was 1.5%. The subjective general health status was correlated with job quality but work-related stress was negatively correlated with the level of job quality. This study was heuristic one, more depth analysis will be needed to identify the relationship and causation of job quality and health status.

주거복지 공적 전달체계 개편방안 연구 - 통합적 지역거점 구축방안을 중심으로 - (A Study for the Reform of Public Housing Welfare Delivery System)

  • In era of lowbirth, aging population, low growth and social polarization, the effective welfare delivery systems are taking on added significance than past years. Public housing welfare resources, such as public rental housing, housing voucher, affordable housing loan, are more diversified and expanded. These programs could work effectively by the comprehensive interlink and community based delivery system. From the standpoint of recipients, how effectively the substantial benefits of welfare resources being delivered to each individual is more important than how much welfare resources being produced totally. This study aimed to explore the reform of public housing welfare delivery system. For this purpose, diagnosed the current states and key issues related to public delivery system, and analyzed what kinds of housing welfare services should be strengthened, and finally suggested the collaboration among the public sectors (local government, LH, HUG, HF etc.) and the partnership with non-profit organizations. Main research implications are as follows. The main housing welfare services which could be categorized as the housing welfare center's role are advice & information offering, several public resources interlink and accessibility improvement, community based network construction, etc. And the most important key for successful delivery system reorganization is the collaborative operation of the public sectors and local government, non-profit organizations.

외국의 건강증진기금 운영실태 고찰 및 시사점 (The Review of the Health Promotion Foundation and Implication for Korea)

  • Objectives: The study aimed at reviewing the organizational values, structures, and activities of the health promotion foundation model as a recently recommended by the World Health Organization, and exploring adequate suggestions to administer the funds in Korea. Methods: The study materials were collected from web-sites and visiting, the ThaiHealth, VicHealth, Healthway, and Health Promotion Switzerland were reviewed as the representative cases of health promotion foundation model. Results: According to the review, the health promotion foundation established based on relevant legal acts had the comprehensive and professional organizational structure with boards and committees as governing and supporting bodies. The foundations had clearly defined vision, mission, and purpose, and pursuit health promotion purpose, independent and professional decision making process, strategies and priorities to initiate broad health promotion activities, balanced funds distribution to various areas and sectors, and networking and collaborating with partners. Conclusions: Health promotion foundation is a recommendable model to lead more effective and efficient health promotion activities and to collaborate with other sectors or other countries. Expanded usages of health promotion fund into the diverse health promotion settings such as communities, work places and schools and health activities including sponsorships as well as health promotion programs need to be considered.

A Study on the Sector Division for Effective Vessel Traffic Service : Focused on Daesan, Pyeongtaek and Inchon Harbour

  • The national VTS was launched in 1993, and has adopted a harbour-oriented control method which is unable to consider enough characteristics of its work. However, for the past 17 years, the characteristics has changed due to increased amount of vessels. Up to now the domestic Vessel Traffic Service has adopted harbour-oriented control method which is unable to consider enough characteristics of its work. However, developed countries have carried out waters-oriented control method, according to the using areas of ships, to be well considered the characteristics of control for increasing efficiency of it. Especially, VTS of Daesan, Pyeongtaek and Inchon harbour can have confusions of control because of overlapped service areas of it. Therefore, in this paper suggested a new Sector Division that the relevants waters is divided into 3 operational Regions and these are divided into nine sectors again, for the purpose of improving the efficiency and the concentration of VTS.

근골격계질환예방을 위한 국내외 제도 (A Study on the Prevention System of Musculoskeletal Disorders in Korea and Other Countries)

  • The presence of musculoskeletal burden tasks and work related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) at Industrial workers was not well-known until 2000 in Korea. Since The Occupational Safety & Health Law was registered a business of proprietor duty in preventing work-related MSDs of workers In July of 2003 WMSDs became a big issue in Korea. A social previous interest was focused on the manufacturing industry just like auto and shipping industry in manufacturing sectors but nowadays it is spreading out to non-manufacturing fields gradually. Nevertheless, we have WMSD prevention Law and System in Korea to reduce WMSDs effectively and systematically we recognized some mistakes and problems of WMSD Law and System. In this paper we study these recent problems in Korea from about 10 years experience and proposed some proposals as discussion.

문화재 감리업무 개선방안 연구 (Improvement of Supervision Work in Cultural Heritage Repair)

  • 문화재청은 문화재수리의 부실방지 및 품질확보를 위하여 상주감리와 비상주감리 제도를 운영하고 있다. 최근 문화재 수리의 감리강화를 위하여 책임감리제도를 도입하였으나, 문화재감리의 운영상 문제점이 발생하여 감리업무의 개선이 필요하게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 문화재의 상주감리, 비상주감리업무 개선과 책임감리의 업무를 개발하였다. 첫째, 문화재 상주감리업무지침서의 불합리한 부문과 문제점을 도출하여, 개선방안을 제안하였다. 둘째, 문화재 비상주감리 업무지침서의 불합리한 부문과 문제점을 도출하여, 비상주 감리업무지침서 개선방안을 제안하였다. 셋째, 문화재 책임감리업무를 수행하기 위한 개발방향 및 감리업무를 제안하였다.

영화 '타이타닉(TITANIC)'의 의상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cinema Costume for the 'TITANIC')

  • This study is to design costumes of each characters, seen in the film of 'TITANIC' directed by James Cameron in 1997, by analyzing various costumes for each roles in the film. The 'TITANIC' has got the 'Oscar Award' in 1998 in 11 sectors for its' high box office record and the finest of the work, based on successful visualization of the costumes for the contemporary characters by historical research. The social background of 'TITANIC' would be presumed in the year of 1912, of which era was also called by 'La Belle Epoque', to say, 'good period'. This study, therefore, traced the representative art trend for the 1910's, together with political, economical and social backgrounds as 1st step. The 2nd step is the consideration of fashion trends of costume affected by the contemporary trends such as Art Nouveau and Art Deco in the period. The 3rd step is the analysis of costumes in the film of 'TITANIC'. Finally, this work has designed the virtual costumes of the characters, in imaginary scenes, which could denote the nature of the personality. Hopefully, this study could help designers show sustainable development in creating cinema costumes and other related projects, based on the understandings of this work.

한국의 보건교육 제공체계 연구 - 보건교육 정책을 중심으로 - (Study on Health Education Providing System in Korea - Health Education Policy-)

  • The method of this study is as follows : First, the interview with the civil servants concerned. Second, the review of the pertinent public ledgers. Third, the review of the existing reference. The results of this study are as follows. 1) The health education system in Korea has only the head. But it does not have the trunk and the limbs that it can move with. 2) Health educator should have the essential work that is the planning and coordinating work of intersectoral health education programs. They should also have the trust works from other sectors. 3) The proposition in the health education policy is as follows: First, the department or section of health education should be made newly in the public health organization. Second, at the level of province(Do) and county(Gun), the health educator should be stationed. Third, most training courses of health care members should involve health education subjects. Fourth, the health center at the level of county(Gun) should have a minimum material and audio-visual equipment of health education. Fifth, regular health education should be put into practice through local broadcast or CATV etc.. Sixth, school health education should be consolidated. Seventh, village health worker(nurse) should be stationed at the level of health center, so that he(she) can work as health educator. 4) The ultimate model of health education system is that of Fig. 5. But it is impossible to change the system synoptically. At first health educator should be stationed at health center. And then the system should be gradually organized.

Long Working Hours in Korea: Based on the 2014 Korean Working Conditions Survey

  • Background: Long working hours adversely affect worker safety and health. In 2004, Korea passed legislation that limited the work week to 40 hours, in an effort to improve quality-of-life and increase business competitiveness. This regulation was implemented in stages, first for large businesses and then for small businesses, from 2004 to 2011. We previously reported that average weekly working hours decreased from 2006 to 2010, based on the Korean Working Conditions Survey. Methods: In the present study, we examine whether average weekly working hours continued to decrease in 2014 based on the 2014 Korean Working Conditions Survey. Results: The results show that average weekly working hours among all groups of workers decreased in 2014 relative to previous years; however, self-employed individuals and employers (who are not covered by the new legislation) in the specific service sectors worked > 60 h/wk in 2014. Conclusion: The Korean government should prohibit employees from working excessive hours and should also attempt to achieve social and public consensus regarding work time reduction to improve the safety, health, and quality-of-life of all citizens, including those who are employers and self-employed.

  • Agile project management is an ongoing method to project completion that actually took place all across length of the project's life cycle. Because loop allows you to adapt as you go rather than maintaining a linear route, iterative methods are mainly applied in software development to ensure velocity and agility. Many pitfalls abound in agile software development adaptations that organizations fail to sidestep. New competitive challenges, fluctuating market dynamics, technological disruption, and the ever-changing demands of empowered customers confront organizations around the world. Organizations are all under tremendous pressure to adapt to change and deliver good products and services to customers more swiftly. Research measured at the challenges that could be encountered and offered advice for how agile development might flourish as it becomes a component of a company's family. Our paper gives a comprehensive review of the most significant obstacles that companies encounter while adopting agile techniques. Adaptability. The agile approach encompasses a variety of techniques, which each have different usage in various sectors. Because certain other standards existing today clash with agile methodology, the adaptation of any of the agile techniques in work environments posed a problem. In this paper, we will cover some of the challenges that firms face in adopting the agile software development life cycle.
