공유경제와 소비자의 특성과의 영향 관계 (The Influential Relations on Sharing Economy and Consumer Traits)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to grasp the concept, characteristics and application status of sharing economy, and to derive a research model based on sharing economic service, and to analyze factors and influences of consumers' intention to reuse of sharing economy. Research design, data, and methodology - The questionnaires were created to examine variables for practical and theoretical implications. After pilot survey, conducted for 24 days from March 10th to April 2st in 2017, total numbers were 377. But 330 copies were used for the analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0 and IBM SPSS AMOS 23.0. The structural equation model was applied for this. Results - First, sharing economic services remain at an early stage, but it is meaningful to identify the revenue mechanism of the business model of the sharing economic platform. Second, in this study, it is meaningful that we systematized the theoretical structure by examining existing studies on the characteristics of the sharing economic service and consumer characteristics, and by examining empirically. Third, Satisfaction and Reliability are related to the characteristics of Sharing Economic Service (Security, Convenience, Discount, Sharing, Social Interaction), Consumer Characteristics (Personal Innovation, Word-of-Mouth) It is meaningful to broaden the understanding of the factors by verifying the mediating effect. Fourth, the sharing economy business is meaningful in that it is a new consumption trend that changes the meaning of consumption to consumers. Gradually, more and more people are recalling that purchasing something is not consumption, but sharing and borrowing is also consumption. In other words, through the sharing economy, consumers can experience more products and services, have more choices, and are expected to have a positive impact on economic growth by increasing the utilization of idle resources. Conclusions - Currently, the sharing economy is growing rapidly all over the world. Therefore, in the subsequent study, it is necessary to compare Korea and China's sharing economy and study the cultural and social characteristics of Korea and China. In particular, I think that steady research is necessary for more precise and specific direction on the influence of the shared economy.

확산 모형에 의한 고가 의료기기의 수요 확산의 특성분석 및 중장기 수요예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Long-term Demand Forecasting and Characterization of Diffusion Process for Medical Equipments based on Diffusion Model)

  • In this study, we explore the long-term demand forecasting of high-price medical equipments based on logistic and Bass diffusion model. We analyze the specific pattern of each equipment's diffusion curve by interpreting the parameter estimates of Bass diffusion model. Our findings are as follows. First, ultrasonic imaging system, CT are in the stage of maturity and so, the future demands of them are not too large. Second, medical image processing unit is between growth stage and maturity stage and so, the demand is expected to increase considerably for two or three years. Third, MRI is in the stage of take-off and Mammmography X-ray system is in the stage of maturity but, estimates of the potential number of adopters based on logistic model is considerably different to that based on Bass diffusion model. It means that additional data for these two equipments should be collected and analyzed to obtain the reliable estimates of their demands. Fourth, medical image processing unit have the largest q value. It means that the word-of-mouth effect is important in the diffusion of this equipment. Fifth, for MRI and Ultrasonic system, q/p values have the relatively large value. It means that collective power has an important role in adopting these two equipments.

Cause-Related Marketing in the Fashion Industry: The Role of Consumer Identification

  • Customer-company (C-C) identification is the perceived fit between the identities of a consumer and an organization. If a consumer identifies with a company that places a high priority on being socially responsible, a consumer who also values social responsibility may support and patronize that business because of the link between something that is important to both them and the company. Because C-C identification may explain the success of cause-related marketing (CRM) in the fashion industry, we investigated the effect of an image resulting from CRM on ratings of brand attributes (e.g., distinctiveness, credibility, attractiveness), identification with the brand, attitude toward the brand, and customer loyalty. Participants also responded to open-ended questions reflecting their rationale for their ratings of brand attributes. Data were collected from a convenience sample of undergraduates (n = 228) enrolled at Midwestern University in the U.S. Structural equation modeling revealed that as ratings of the social responsibility of the cause-related marketing effort increased so did perceptions of the brand's distinctiveness, credibility, and attractiveness. Participants identified with a brand when they rated the brand as attractive. Participants' identification with a brand had a significant impact on attitudes toward the brand and customer loyalty (e.g., purchase intention, willingness to spread positive word-of-mouth). Content analyses of open-ended responses supported the idea that brand images stemming from CRM exert an important influence on consumer's ratings of brand attributes. Fashion marketers interested in cause-related marketing will find success with efforts that increase customer identification.

고객세분화를 통한 지방의료원의 의료서비스 전문화 전략 (Medical Services Specialization strategies of the Regional Public Hospital through Customer Segmentation)

  • 본 연구는 지방의료원의 고객세분화를 통하여 향후 전문화된 의료기관으로 진료전문성을 강화하여 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있는 진료전문화 전략을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 조사기간은 2013년 1월부터 12월까지 입원한 환자 26,658명을 연구대상을 선정하였다. 분석방법은 군집분석과 의사결정나무분석을 이용하였다. 결론을 보면, 성별은 여자, 연령은 60세 이상, 질환별로는 근 골격계 및 결합조직의 질환이 충성고객으로 선정되었다. 이들은 지방의료원의 고객관리측면에서 향후 구전의 효과가 높은 고객 군으로 금전적인 소비규모가 높은 점을 고려하여 이들에게 제공된 의료서비스에 대한 모니터링과 커뮤니케이션을 통해 지속적인 관계를 유지하는 것이 중요하다. 앞으로 전문 분야의 전문의와 전문적 시설 확보 등의 적합한 조직구조와 환경을 갖추는 것이 중요하며, 지역 내 개원의, 유관기관간의 전략적 제휴 통한 진료협력 및 의뢰, 의료서비스 범위의 집중화가 필요하다.

온라인 VOD 영상콘텐츠 흥행요인 분석 (Analysis of Factors of Success on Online VOD Contents)

  • 지상파 방송의 드라마 시청률 경쟁이 가속화되고 있는 가운데, 케이블 TV와 인터넷 VOD를 통한 재방송 혹은 다시보기가 늘어나고 있다. 이는 인터넷이 방송의 보조적 배포 수단이 아니라 그 자체로 독립적인 서비스 플랫폼의 지위를 얻고 있음을 보여주는 것이다. 또한 실제 드라마 시청률과 온라인 VOD 이용과도 차이를 보이고 있지만 이에 대한 연구는 전무한 편이다. 원소스 멀티유즈(One Source Multi Use)가 현실화 되는 상황에서 원소스의 1차적인 창구가 2차적 창구 효과에 대한 영향과 시청률 왜곡이 가속화되는 현실에서 온라인에서의 지상파 드라마의 흥행요인이 어떠한지를 총체적으로 조망할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 지상파 드라마를 대상으로 온라인 VOD에서의 흥행 요인을 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 흥행요인을 크게 4가지, 즉 시청률, 구전 및 온라인 정보, 드라마유형, 스타출연으로 분류하여 조사하였으며 분석결과, 온라인 VOD드라마 이용에 어느 정도영향을 미치는 변인으로는 구전(.324, p<.01) 및 온라인 정보(.325, p<.01) 그리고 스타의 출연(.307, p<.01)인 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 시청률이 높은 드라마가 온라인 VOD 이용도 높을 것이라는 가설과 드라마 유형이 온라인 VOD 이용에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설은 증명할 수 없었다. 그러나 시청률과 온라인 VOD 이용과의 관계를 규명함에 있어 본 연구에서는 실제 시청률데이터 활용하지 못한 것이 본 연구의 한계로 지적된다.

외식광고로 인한 인지부조화가 소비자의 구매 만족도 및 구매 후 행동에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Cognitive Dissonance in Franchise Foodservice Advertisement on Customer Satisfaction and Post-purchase Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the post-purchase behavior of customers who experienced cognitive dissonance after exposure to a franchise foodservice advertisement. The study adopted cognitive dissonance theory to explain the dissonance resulting from the combination of advertisements and actual product that consumers received. In detail, the research hypothesized that cognitive dissonance will affect consumers' post-purchase behavior as well as their efforts to reduce dissonance. Exactly 274 questionnaires were used in the analysis. The results showed that more than 80% of respondents were influenced by advertisements when purchasing menus, and 50% were unsatisfied when the provided menu "was not the same as the advertisement shown". It was found that advertisement type did not significantly affect either group that experienced dissonance. In terms of satisfaction, however, the former group showed greater dissatisfaction when dissonance occurred (p<.001). Finally, there was a significant difference between the two groups regarding post-purchase behavior (p<.05). Customers with dissonance were likely to 'express dissatisfaction directly to the store', 'leave negative reviews', and 'participate in negative word-of-mouth'. Thus, the results revealed that cognitive dissonance could significantly influence customer satisfaction and consequently lead to negative post-purchasing behaviors.

Factors Influencing Overall Satisfaction of Middle Eastern Arab Patients in South Korea

  • The number of patients from Middle Eastern Arabic countries is steadily increasing in respect to the South Korean government's medical tourism strategies. Word of mouth is one of the main determinants concerning the Middle Eastern Arab patients' medical tourism destination. Further, patients' satisfaction affects repurchase and revisit intention. This study aimed to measure the level of Middle Eastern Arab patients' satisfaction, and to measure the effect of different medical factors on satisfaction in such patients who are seeking medical attention in South Korea. A 110 Middle Eastern Arab patients who visited South Korea for medical purposes participated in our survey between November, 2016 and April, 2017. All factors had a high mean (${\geq}4.24$; ${\geq}84.8/100$) except for one factor (hospital halal meals (3.82; 76.4)). To identify factors influencing participants' overall satisfaction we used multiple regression analysis. Physicians, interpreters, and halal meals were the main factors influencing overall Middle Eastern Arab patients' satisfaction. Physicians and interpreters in Korea are recommended to be oriented to basic Islamic beliefs and Middle Eastern Arab patients' behavior. Daily communication, such as speaking directly to the patient, limiting important issues to two or three at a time, and translating sentence by sentence, could help to improve Middle Eastern Arab patients' satisfaction. Enlisting Middle Eastern nutrition specialists in medical institutions in South Korea may substantially improve non-medical services satisfaction such as halal food and dietary restrictions.

Increasing Returns to Information and Its Application to the Korean Movie Market

  • Since movies are experience goods, consumers are easily influenced by other consumers' behavior. For moviegoers, box office rank is the most credible and easily accessible information. Many studies have found that the relationship between a movie's box office rank and its revenue departs from the Pareto distribution, and this phenomenon has been named "increasing returns to information." The primary objective of the current research is to apply the empirical model proposed by De Vany and Walls (1996) to the Korean movie market in order to examine whether the same phenomenon prevails in the Korean movie market. The other purpose of the present study is to provide managers with useful implications about the release timing of a movie by finding different curvatures that depend upon seasonality. The empirical test on the Korean movie market shows similar results as prior studies conducted on the U.S., Hong Kong, and U.K. movie markets. The phenomenon of increasing returns is generated by information transmission among consumers, which makes some movies become blockbusters and others bombs. The proposed model can also be interpreted in such a way that a change in the rank has a nonlinear effect on the movie's performance. If a movie climbs up the chart, it would be rewarded more than its proportion. On the other hand, if a movie falls down in the ranks, its performance would drop rapidly. The research result also indicates that the phenomenon of increasing returns occurs differently depending on when the movies are released. Since the tendency of the increasing returns to information is stronger during the peak seasons, movie marketers should decide upon the release timing of a movie based on its competitiveness. If a movie has substantial potential to incur positive word-of-mouth, it would be more reasonable to release the movie during the peak season to enjoy increasing returns. Otherwise, a movie should be released during the low season to minimize the risk of being dropped from the chart.

중국 소비자의 성별 모바일커머스 수용의도에 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 광저우.상하이지역 소비자를 중심으로 (Factors Influencing Mobile Commerce Adoption and the Moderating Effect of Gender: Focused on Shanghai and Guangzhou)

  • 본 연구는 중국의 상하이와 광저우에 거주하는 소비자들을 대상으로 성별에 따라 모바일커머스를 수용하는데 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇이며, 남녀 간 어떠한 차이를 보이는지를 분석하였다. 연구모형은 기존의 합리적 행동이론(TRA), 계획된 행동이론(TPB), 기술수용이론(TAM), 통합기술수용이론(UTAUT) 등과 이후 연구된 후속연구들을 참고한 후 모바일기기의의 속성 중 개별성 및 개인성이 중요하다고 판단하여 감성요인들 위주로 선별하여 설계하였다. 분석결과는 중국 소비자의 모바일커머스 수용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로서 지각된 위험, 개인의 혁신성, 모바일기기에 대한 친밀성, 사회적 영향이 모두 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 남녀 집단 간의 차이는 여성이 남성에 비해 지각된 위험, 사회적 영향에 더 민감하게 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났으며, 남성은 모바일기기의 친밀감과 개인의 혁신성에서 유의적인 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구의 결과는 중국의 소비자에게 있어서 모바일기기가 갖는 개별적이고 개인적 속성으로 인해 어떤 다른 쇼핑채널에서 보다 감성적 요인이 중요하게 작용한다는 것을 의미하는 것이며, 시장세분화의 기본요소로서 남녀 집단 간 차이의 결과는 모바일커머스의 운영에 있어서도 남녀 소비자에게 개별적이고 차별화된 마케팅전략의 수립이 필요하다는 것을 시사하고 있다.

혁신제품 확산과정에 대한 저유량 모형 개발: 친환경 자동차를 대상으로 (Development of a Stock Flow Model on Diffusion Process of Innovative Goods: the Green Car Diffusion Case)

  • As global competition for green car, that is environmentally friendly car, is getting tougher, the governments and the related industries are putting their core efforts in its diffusion. However, the green car sales are disappointing so far. To overcome the gridlock, it is necessary to develop concrete analytical framework to understand the diffusion process. Based on causal loop analysis from the previous work, we have identified main variables and relationships of them in the diffusion process and developed a stock-flow diagram and mathematical formula for the main components. The model would be applied for further quantitative simulation on the diffusion process of green car and other innovative goods as well. Also, we have suggested constructive insights for the policy makers and for the related industries. First, it is important to increase consumers' willingness to consider through marketing and word of mouth to accelerate the diffusion process. Second, in the perspective of the industry, the market share of green car should be increased at the earliest possible stage and this could be done by enhancing each components of green car attractiveness(e.g. price, driving range, social infra). Third, companies should develop a balanced investment between consumer and technology sector through a flexible financial policy. Fourth, the government continuously has the role of investing in the related R&D and social infra building. We expect the green car diffusion model and related formula from the research can provide meaningful tools to analyze the diffusion process of other new and innovative goods based on its deep researched literature review.
