On-Line Fuzzy Auto Tuning for PID Controller (PID 제어기의 On-Line 퍼지 자동동조)

  • In this paper, we proposed a new PID tuning algorithm by the fuzzy set theory to improve the performance of the PID controller. The new tuning algorithm for the PID controller has the initial value of parameter Kc, $\tau$I, $\tau$D by the Ziegler-Nichols formula using the ultimate gain and ultimate period from a relay tuning experiment. We get error and error change of plant output correspond to the initial value and new proportion gain(Kc) and integral time($\tau$I) from fuzzy tunner. This fuzzy tuning algorithm for PID controller considerably reduced overshoot and rise time compare to any other PID controller tuning algorithms. In real parametric uncertainty systems, the PID controller with Fuzzy auto-tuning give appreciable improvement in the performance. The significant properties of this algorithm is shown by simulation In this paper, we proposed a new PID algorithm by the fuzzy set theory to improve the performance of the PID controller.

창원시 대산면 취수 부지의 지하수와 낙동강의 수리화학적 특성 비교

  • Chemical analyses were conducted for Nakdong River water and riverbank filtrate in Daesan-Myeon area, Changwon City in 2005. Chemical components show different trends in wet season (June, July, August and September) and dry season (the other months). The patterns of chemical variation are classified into four types. Chemical components belonging Type I, as Na and $HCO_3$, show decrease in concentration during wet season and increase in concentration during dry season for both Nakdong River water and the riverbank filtrate. Chemical components belonging Type II, as Mg and $SO_4$, show decrease in concentration during wet season and increase in concentration during dry season for Nakdong River water while show the opposite trend for the riverbank filtrate. Chemical components belonging Type III, as Cl and $NO_3$, show increase in concentration from the start of wet season and high concentration during dry season for both Nakdong River water and the riverbank filtrate. Chemical components belonging Type IV, as Fe, show increase in concentration during wet season and decrease in concentration during dry season for both Nakdong River water and the riverbank filtrate.

Immune-Enhancing Effect of Hibiscus syriacus Leaves in RAW264.7 Cells and Cyclophosphamided-induced Immunosuppressed Mice

  • Under the COVID-19 pandemic, interest in immune enhancement is increasing. Although the immune-enhancing activity of plants of the genus Hibiscus has been reported, there is no study on the immune-enhancing activity of H. syriacus. Thus, in this study, we investigated the immune-enhancing activity of Hibiscus syriacus leaves (HSL) in mouse macrophages, RAW264.7 cells, and immunosuppressed mice. HSL increased the production of immunostimulatory factors such as nitric oxide (NO), inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and activated the phagocytosis in RAW264.7 cells. The HSL-mediated production of immunostimulatory factors was dependent on toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), p38, and c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) in RAW264.7 cells. In the immunosuppressed mouse model, HSL increased the spleen index, the levels of the cytokines, and the numbers of lymphocytes, neutrophils, and monocytes. Taken together, HSL may be considered to have immune-enhancing activity and be expected to be used as a potential immune-enhancing agent.

Study on Standardization of Korean Version of Psychiatric Diagnostic Screening Questionnaire(K-PDSQ) (한국판 정신장애 진단 선별 질문지의 표준화 연구)

  • Objective : The PDSQ is a brief and psychometrically strong self-report scale designed to screen for common DSM-IV Axis I disorders in clinical settings. In this study, the K-PDSQ was compared with the M.I.N.I.-Plus (Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview-Plus) for diagnostic validity and availability of the K-PDSQ as a part of standardization of the K-PDSQ. Methods : The 640 patients were evaluated with the K-PDSQ and the M.I.N.I.-Plus. Diagnosing with the M.I.N.I.-Plus, the diagnostic correspondence, administering time, sensitivity, specificity, ROC curve, and AUC of the K-PDSQ were evaluated. Results : For the diagnostic correspondence of the K-PDSQ, Cohen's kappa coefficient was .66 between the K-PDSQ and the M.I.N.I.-Plus. The administering time of the K-PDSQ was $18.2{\pm}11.80$ minutes. Both sensitivity and specificity of the K-PDSQ were higher: the mean sensitivity across 10 subscales of K-PDSQ was 86%; the mean specificity was 84%. All AUCs of each subscale were above .80, which were statistically significant. Conclusion : The K-PDSQ is valid and available as a diagnostic screening tool. It will be widely used in clinical settings for screening DSM-IV Axis I diagnosis because of its simplicity and high reliability.

Lattice Damage Produced during Silicon Etch Process and Its Recovery Phenomena (실리콘 식각 공정시 발생하는 격자결함 관찰 및 제거동향 연구)

  • 차세대 소자고립구조로서 연구되고 있는 trench isolation 공정 등에는 실리콘 식각이 요구되며 실리콘 식각 공정중에는 반응성 이온에 의해 격자결함이 발생할 수 있다. 이와같이 생성된 결함은 소자의 전기적 성질을 열화시키므로 열처리를 통하여 제거하여야만 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 Ar,Ar/H2 플라즈마로 격자결함을 인위적으로 발생시켜 20$0^{\circ}C$-110$0^{\circ}C$ 질소분위기에서 30분간 열처리에 따른 생성된 격자결함의 소거거동을 관찰하였다. 실리콘 표면에 Schottky 다이오드를 제작하여 I-V, C-V 특성을 측정하므로써 잔류하는 전기적인 손상의 정도를 평가하였다. Ar으로 식각한 경우에는 110$0^{\circ}C$ 30분간 열처리한 결과 모든 격자결함이 제거되나 Ar/H2로 식각한 경우에는 격자결함이 완전히 제거되지 않고 (111)적층결함이 남아있었다.

  • Data on the Internet are usually represented and transfered as XML. the XML data is represented as a tree and therefore, object repositories are well-suited to store and query them due to their modeling power. XML queries are represented as regular path expressions and evaluated by traversing each object of the tree in object repositories. Several indexes are proposed to fast evaluate regular path expressions. However, in some cases they may not cover all possible paths because they require a great amount of disk space. In order to efficiently evaluate the queries in such cases, we propose an optimized traversing which combines the signature method and block traversing. The signature approach shrink the search space by using the signature information attached to each object, which hints the existence of a certain label in the sub-tree. The block traversing reduces disk I/O by early evaluating the reachable objects in a page. We conducted diverse experiments to show that the hybrid approach achieves a better performance than the other naive ones.

Prevalence of Zoonotic Trematode Metacercariae in Freshwater Fish from Gangwon-do, Korea

  • The infection status of zoonotic trematode metacercariae was investigated in a total of 2,293 freshwater fish collected from 11 rivers or streams in 9 administrative regions of Gangwon-do, Korea for 5 years (2009-2013). All fish were collected by netting methods and examined using the artificial digestion methods. Clonorchis sinensis metacercariae were detected in 4 fish species, i.e., Pungtungia herzi, Squalidus japonicus coreanus, Acheilognathus rhombeus, and Ladislabia taczanowskii, from only Hantangang in Cheorwon-gun. Metagonimus spp. metacercariae were found in 1,154 (50.3%) fish and their average number per infected fish was 55.8. Among the positive fish species, especially Tribolodon hakonensis from Namdaecheon in Yangyang-gun and Plecoglossus altivelis from Osipcheon in Samcheok-si were most heavily infected. Centrocestus armatus metacercariae were detected in 611 (26.7%) fish and the average metacercarial burden per infected fish was 1,032. Two chub species, Zacco platypus and Zacco temminckii were highly and heavily infected with C. armatus metacercariae in almost all regions surveyed. Echinostoma spp. metacercariae were also found in 24 fish from a few localities, but their numbers per fish infected were very low. From the above results, it is confirmed that the metacercariae of intestinal flukes, especially Metagonimus spp. and C. armatus, were heavily infected, while C. sinensis metacercariae were rarely found in fish from Gangwon-do, Korea.

A Study on the Gungwi Perception of Year, Month, Day and Hour in the East (동양의 연월일시 궁위 인식에 관한 고찰)

  • The purpose of this paper is to restore the academic status of Gungwi perception a little. The symbolism of Gungwi, or Year Month Day Hour, likened to Geun Myo Hwa Sil, is not just a technique of interpretation. Recognizing that it corresponds to Saju's most fundamental Mingli principle, the study was conducted to the effect that more academic research should be conducted in the future. The intrinsic idea that constitutes Saju is the yin-yang and the five elements, the letters recorded are twelve-dimensional, and the elements in charge of the space and time are Cheongan, Jeeji, and Gungwi, which are woven into four pillars. Through this consideration of Gungwi's perception, we presented the "spectrum of time" phenomenon that past time and information pass through the point of time, spread like a spectrum, and lead future time and action at the time when humans are born, that is, the energy of the universe is formatted throughout the brain and body. We discussed the change point of Eight Trigrams used by Lim Cheol Cho as a basis for explaining 'Won Hyong I Jeong' and the assumption that the time change or distortion of the two cones penetrating the present, which is assumed in parallel theory, one of the modern cosmologies, leaves an afterimage in the future universe as Gungwi's deductive basis.

A Study on the Transmission Speed Improvement of Sharing Situation Information by Variable Message Protocol

  • VMP(Variable Message Protocol) is bit-based variable message processing protocol that enables the sharing situation information in real time as a tactical datalink protocol for Korean Army. System A is currently under development and will be operated as an army system when its development is completed. In system A, the VMP processing terminal is mounted and the VMP is utilized for exchanging tactical information. System A can acquire situation information from mounted situation information acquisition system and share situation information with other system A by the VMP. In this paper, we propose a method of sharing situation information with system A and speed improvement methods of sharing situation information using VMP. As speed improvement methods of sharing situation information, this paper studied 'Removing Process of Sending VMP Observation Report', 'Adopting One-time Situation Information Send Button When Sharing A System Situation Information By VMP', 'Combination of Many VMP Messages Using Repeat Function Of Application Header'. And we conducted the experiment, the result was that the transmission speed of equipment to which the research method was applied was improved by 76.8% compared to the existing equipment.
