This study was to investigate purchase of women for commercial kimchi. Survey was carried out by questionnaire method that is target on 322 female over 20 age in Seoul area. The results of the study was that the way they get kimchi of women answered that they make it by themselves(63.3%). The reason of purchasing is they do not have enough time to make it at their home(43.8%) and its good taste(56.8%) result in their purchase. In the degree of preference about package material, prefer polyethylene(39.6%). Also respondents prefer purchasing poggi kimchi(63.4%) among other different types of kimchi. The promotion facts of purchasing commercial kimchi shows a high score in cold chain system package and specific kimchi development.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationships between variables related to skin health and skin health behavior of female university students in seoul, and to plan effective educational programs for skin health. 322 university women attending women's universities and 363 university women attending co-educational universities were selected to conduct a questionnaire survey; the total number of examines was 685, and the examination period was from October 23rd to November 6th, 2002. The study results are as follows; 1. The score distributions of skin health behavior were as follows; 8.7% of examniees got 20-40 points, 51.6% got 41-60 points, 36.7% got 61-80 points, 0.4% got 81-100 points. The maximum score was 100 points; the lowest score was 22 points and the highest score was 97 points, the average score was 56.9 points. 2. The general characters were as follows; the older subjects were and the higher subjects income levels were : the higher their scores of skin health behavior were. Scores of skin health behavior of students who temporarily stay out of school were higher than those who were enrolled full time. Scores of skin health behavior of university women attending women's universities were higher than those of university women attending co-educational universities. The greater subjects were satisfied with their appearances, the better their health states were, the more subjects were concerned about health problems, the higher their health states were, the more subjects were concerned about health problems, the higher their scores of skin health behavior were. 3. Characters related to skin were as follows; the better subjects skin conditions were, the higher their scores of skin health behavior were. Scores of skin health behavior of university women whose skin types were 'sensitive' were higher than those of university women whose skin was "not sensitive". Scores of skin health behavior of university women who worry about their skin wrinkles or skin color were higher than those of university women who have different kinds of skin troubles. Scores of skin health behavior of university women who get skin-relate information through dermatology clinics or beauty salonspecialists in this area were higher than those of university women who get the information through other sources. Scores of skin health behavior of university women who have experienced adverse effects of beauty products were higher than those of university women who have not experienced adverse effects of beauty products. 4. The relationships between variables related with skin health and skin health behavior were as follow; Skin states, health status and health concerns all had statistically significant correlation with skin health behavior.
A person's external image is a non-verbal form of communication, through which the person's tastes, mode of thought, preferences, and overall personality is expressed. The dominant factor in building an external image is clothing, since clothing-images provide the most information about a person in the least amount of time. This study aims to investigate the relationship between the clothing- images of women politicians and the improvement of women's social status in Korea, by focusing on changes in clothing-image of female politicians at public functions throughout modern Korean history, and inquiring into the method of classification concerning aforementioned images. The time period of this study starts from 1945, when the first female political party was established, to the 2008 presidential elections. The methodology of this study consists of literature study of related books, theses and journals, which was jointly conducted with empirical study consisting of the research of news photographs of major daily newspapers. This study confirmed the clothing images of women politicians since liberation till 2000's reflects the directions of women's movement and their status in return. It is especially meaningful that the sudden increase of romantic and feminine images among the women politician in Korea is the reflection of the ideas of postmodern feminism which emphasize the acknowledgement of womanhood and the enjoyment of being a woman as its core.
This research is intended to explore the adaptation process for immigrant women and their Korean spouses through a qualitative method. It is aimed at understanding how immigrant women and their Korean spouses have adjusted to their lives in Korea over the last 10 years and how they have dealt with difficulties in the adaptation process. The participants were 15 intermarried couples consisting of a Southeast Asian wife and a Korean husband. They got married through matchmakers and have children between the ages of 8 and 13. The study carried out in-depth interviews. To analyze the interview data, the qualitative software program Nvivo8 was used. The results showed that immigrant women and their Korean spouses experienced confusion at first. They struggled adapting to each other's lifestyles and made efforts to establish harmony. In the end, they made their own family identity as a multicultural family. The study widens the understanding of multicultural families by focusing on both wives and husbands. Also, the use of the Nvivo8 software strengthens the reliability of the data analysis. The results will contribute to providing interracial couples with the adaptive strategies.
This study conducted a survey with 203 single households among men and women in their 20s to 40s who were living in metropolitan areas from October 6 to November 4, 2012 in order to investigate the dietary attitude of the single households. The ratio of single households who had three meals a day regularly was 2.85 points, which was lower than the normal level, and it turned out that those in their 20s and 30s had meals more regularly than those in their 40s did (p<0.001). As for the irregular meal time, most were breakfast (85.9%), and it turned out that they often skipped meals mostly because they did not have time to eat and (41.7%) or because that bothered them (26.0%). 62.6% of the single households did overeating and most of them (39.4%) did overeating because of their irregular meals. Of the single households, women or persons who had lived alone for less than 3 years or more than 7 years cooked at home, more often (p<0.05), and most of them (42%) cooked noodles, easy to cook, but women cooked Korean food-based homemade food such as rice (31.7%) or soup and stew (21.2%), often (p<0.05). It turned out that 36.9% of the single households often ate out about two to three times a day, and as for their favorite eating-out menus, 39.4% were Korean food, followed by Western food (23.8%), flour-based food (13.5%), fast food (9.8%), Chinese food (7.3%) and Japanese food (6.2%). Lastly, as for inconveniences when they ate out, most were the 'price' (22.8%), followed by 'too much amount of food for one person' (20.2%) and 'limitations in menu selection' (19.2%). As a result of this study, it appeared that the single households had an irregular dietary life, often did overeating and often ate out, so it is judged that it would be necessary to develop a variety of nutritionally-balanced HMR food and eating-out menus in a reasonable price range for their healthy dietary life.

This study categorized and analyzed the body types of adult women in their 20s and 30s using 3D human measurement data from the 8th Size Korea, and intended to construct body shape and dimension data necessary for modeling Korean standard avatars. Data analysis considered data from 1302 adult women in their 20s and 30s, and a total of 49 index values, drop values, and angle items were subjected to factor analysis and one-way ANOVA to categorize the body type, and Duncan test to post-verify significant differences by type. As a result of conducting factor analysis, 13 factors were extracted and were categorized into 4 body types. Type 1 is short in the upper torso, long in the lower torso, long in the arms and legs, and has a upright body shape and sagging shoulder. Type 2 is short in the torso, arms and legs, and has large torso flexion and lower body circumference. Type 3 has abdominal obesity with small torso flexion and lower body circumference. Type 4 is a small body bending forward type. For the distribution of body types by age among those in their 20s and 30s, the highest appearance rate was Type 1 and was therefore selected as the represntative body type. The body type information of this study will be used as basic data for developing standard avatars.

This study aims to investigate the differences in blue jean styles and the visual images associated with them. To achieve this, literature reviews, case studies, and surveys were conducted. The results are as follows. 1) Based on previous studies, it was found that the design elements influencing the style of blue jeans and their visual images include waistline position, silhouette, details, decorations, and color. Additionally, differences in the preferences and visual evaluations of Korean and Chinese individuals regarding the style of blue jeans were confirmed. 2) Skinny blue jeans are typically characterized by a high waistline and a length that reaches the ankles, featuring a snug fit with stretchy fabric. Straight blue jeans, on the other hand, usually have a natural or high waistline and cover the instep, with a straight silhouette descending from the thigh to the hem. Bell-bottom blue jeans are primarily high-waisted and cover the instep with a silhouette forming a bell shape from the knee to the hem. 3) Korean and Chinese women in their 20s evaluated skinny, straight, and bell-bottom styles of blue jeans as having a 'casual' image. However, they also associated bell-bottom style blue jeans with 'unique' and 'attractive' images. Interestingly, Korean women described skinny-style blue jeans as making someone look 'youthful', while Chinese women perceived them as 'sophisticated', 'making the waist look thicker', and 'unassuming'. As for straight-style blue jeans, Korean women saw them as 'well-fitting', while Chinese women described them as 'making one appear taller', 'desirable', and 'free-spirited'.

To design a beautiful hood fitting an unspecific individual, focusing on body parts such as the head, neck and shoulder requires body size and type information, which applied by physical factors like size, types, and movements, etc. These parts consist of complicated types and structures. Accurate information should be a priority due to great individual differences and low correlation with other body parts. However, there is not a lot of detailed physical information nor design methods for hood design. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to select a study sample "hood" which is a recently emerging fashion item and to expand the necessary physical information for pattern design and draw body size of wearing part on Hood like head, cerbical portion and shoulder. Extract factors to consist on types and after divided into several types, a study comparing each type's physical characteristics was conducted. In order to do that, body measurement data have been collected by statistical treatment and analyzed reference with statistical treatment. The results of the study are predicted to be important data to develop various hood designs for the recent fashion trend. Factor analysis was conducted through main composition analysis about direct measured item on human body and index items. The results of factor analysis, composed factors of body type in this research object were extracted in total of 3 factors. To categorize the head, neck and shoulders of women in their early 20s women and determine their characteristics, variances with factor analysis became operative for Cluster analysis. With these clusters, women in their early 20s were categorized into three types. The results of this study are considered to affect largely for higher physical suitability on unspecified individuals when allowed absence of reference and the fact that body size only limited to item 'head circumstance' in terms of making hat and hood in the case of recent Korea. For the future, an experimental study of hood production should be conducted by using basic data from this study.

This study examined bag purchase behaviors for male consumers based on fashion attitudes. Data research were conducted on 304 males in their 20s and 30s located in Seoul & Gyeonggi province. The SPSS 17.0 software program was used to conduct data analyses such descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, $X^2$-test, t-test, ANOVA, and Scheffe's test as a post-hoc analysis. The results of this study were as follows: Fashion attitude was identified with four factors personality, social recognition, practicality, and dignity. Customers were segmented into three subdivisions: conspicuous, recognition of individual style, and practicality of clothing. The factors derived from the factor analysis of selection criteria included intrinsic attributes and extrinsic attributes. Males in their 30s valued the intrinsic attributes and males in their 20s valued extrinsic attributes. The group of conspicuous of clothing, valued both intrinsic and extrinsic attributes as important. The factors derived from the factor analysis of bag pursuit benefit included pursuit of fashion/economic, famous brand, quality/convenience. Males in their 20s and 30s pursued famous luxury brands and fashion attitudes had a positive relevance to the bag pursuit benefit.
The purpose of this study is to examine factors that affect the bone mineral density of pre-menopause women by using the dual energy x-ray absorptionmetry, ultimately contributing to preventing women's osteoporosis that tends to be aggravated since menopause. Out of the subjects, 20.2% were suffering osteopenia. Age was found most important in estimating the level of bone mineral density. Meanwhile, the older women were, the significantly lower their bone mineral density was. It was found that taking exercise has a more positive effect on boss mineral density than not taking. Exercising in a suitable amount was helping women keep their bone mineral density better. Preferring meat to vegetarian diets were significantly affecting women's bone mineral density. Meanwhile, it was found that the shorter menstrual cycle is, the significantly lower bone mineral density is. A multi=regression analysis of bone mineral density and its related factors showed that the older women were, the significantly lower their bone mineral density was. In other words, age was found as the most risk factor of osteoporosis.
