The objective of this study is to review the role and function of the village health worker in the wake of the recent social changes in Korea. The stud}' also aimed at' elucidating' the characteristics of the village health worker organizations developed through community participation in this country. The study methods employed were: a review of literature and other existing information related to VHW's activities ; the use of Questionnaire and interview with VHW's on their activities in one selected county in 1992. The major findings obtained are as follows: 1. So far the community health care activities have been carried out by medical colleges, foreign aid agencies and religious organizations with a view to improving health care for the population in rural area. 2. The VHWs employed by the local community health services received remuneratiorin cash or in kind. However, presently no remuneration is paid to VHWs employed by the government village health projects. The training for VHWs is organized by County Health Center once a year for 1-2days regardless of pre-employment or refresher. 3. The needs of care for maternal and child health and family planning has been decline due to the decrease of the target population, but on the other hand, the needs of care by VHW for prevention of infectious diseases, health of the aging, management of geriatric diseases, prevention of poisoning of pesticides and environmental sanitation has beer increased. 4. It was felt strongly that the training for VHWs should be strengthened by means of developing a problem-solving oriented educational program in order to improve practical skills of VHWs.

본 연구는 장애인복지기관의 '조직문화'(합리문화, 개발문화, 집단문화, 위계문화)와 고객중심을 강조하는 '시장지향성', 그리고 조직성과지표로서의 '지역사회중심 사회통합지향성'(Community-Centered Social Inclusion Orientation [COSI])의 관계를 검증하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 COSI에 대한 4개 조직문화유형의 직접효과와 시장지향성을 매개로 한 간접효과를 설정한 연구 모형을 구성하여 이 모형 의 유용성을 경험적으로 규명하였다. 전국조사에서 얻어진 263개소 장애인복지기관의 응답내용이 구조방정식 모형을 통해 분석되었다. 분석결과, 시장지향성은 종속변수인 조직성과지표로서의 COSI에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 조직문화와 관련해서는 개발문화와 위계문화적 속성이 종속변수에 직접효과를, 합리문화와 집단문화적 속성은 시장지향성을 통하여 간접효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 획일적 조직문화 유형보다는 각 문화유형의 균형적 발달이 중요함을 시사하며, 조직성과를 위해 고객중심 그리고 부서 간 협력을 강조하는 시장지향성의 강화가 필요함을 확인할 수 있다.

우리나라는 성평등 실현을 목적으로 성주류화 제도를 도입했다. 성주류화 실행이 체계적이고 지속적으로 작동되기 위해 가장 중요한 것은 모든 사회구성원과 조직, 다양한 집단의 적극적인 참여라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 실효성 있는 성주류화 실행을 위해 여성, 소외계층, 교육기관, 직능단체, NGO, 전문가, 연구기관, 기업, 언론, 정부, 의회, 성별영향분석평가 센터 등이 참여하는 거버넌스 모형과 구축 방안을 제안한다.

이 논문에서 우리는 진로가치명료화 프로그램이 여대생의 진로의식성숙과 진로의사결정에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 제안하고자 한다. 연구대상은 K여자대학교 70명을 대상으로 프로그램 사전·사후 검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 진로가치명료화 프로그램은 여대생의 진로의식성숙의 하위 요인 가운데 진로결정성, 진로관여성, 진로독립성, 진로성향성에서 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 진로의사결정의 하위 요인 가운데 합리적 유형에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 이와 같은 결과는 진로가치명료화 프로그램이 여대생의 진로의식성숙과 진로의사결정에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여 준다. 여대생들의 진로의식성숙과 진로의사결정을 긍정적으로 향상시키기 위해서는 진로가치명료화 프로그램으로 지역사회에 여러 기관들을 방문하여 진로에 필요한 자격증과 활동들을 알고 실질적으로 진로준비를 할 수 있도록 도와야 할 것이다. 그리고 대학에서는 현장 전문가들을 적극적으로 초청하여 그 직업이 추구하는 가치가 무엇이고 어떤 일을 하는지를 알 수 있도록 기회를 제공해 주어야 할 것이다.

이 논문의 목적은 한국 여성들이 기독교가 마련한 교육공간을 통해 '말하는 주체'로 거듭난 경로를 추적하고 그 효과를 규명하는 데 있다. 초기 기독교는 문자 교육을 수반한 성경공부, 연설과 토론으로 대변되는 근대적 발화양식, 간증과 방언으로 대변되는 기독교 고유의 발화양식 등 세 경로를 통해 여성을 '말하는 주체'로 세울 수 있었다. 첫째 경로는 여자사경회인데, 농어촌 지역의 여성들은 이를 매개로 문자의 세계로 진입하면서 무지와 묵종의 세계에서 벗어날 수 있었다. 둘째 경로는 기독교계 여성교육 기관이 마련한 연설과 토론공간이다. 이화학당의 이문회(以文會), 감리교 여자청년회인 조이스회(Joyce Chapter), 여성단체인 YWCA 등에서 여성들은 근대적 언어구사의 테크닉을 배우면서 말하는 주체로 거듭날 수 있었다. 셋째 경로는 기독교 고유의 발화양식인 간증과 방언이다. 남성 엘리트에게만 허용되었던 설교나 공중기도와 달리, 간증과 방언은 성별이나 신분의 제약을 초월하는 발화양식이다. 여성들은 적극적인 간증 행위를 통해 자신의 존엄을 확인하였고, 일종의 해체적 언술 행위인 방언을 매개로 초월적 권위에 기대어 말할 권리를 행사할 수 있었다. 이렇듯 기독교가 마련한 교육공간을 통과하면서 여성들은 자신들이 겪는 고통이 운명 탓이 아니라 사회적 구조나 오랜 악습 때문임을 깨닫고 여성의 교육권과 재산권을 주장하는 '말하는 주체'가 되었다. 지난 30여 년 동안 활발했던 신여성 연구에서는 여성주체 형성의 장치였던 기독교의 영향력에 대해 간과하는 경향이 있었다. 초기 한국 기독교 교육공간에는 여성을 말하는 주체로 세우는 다양한 언술장치가 있었고, 이는 여성들의 공적 발화에 선도적 역할을 하였음을 밝힌 이 글은 그간의 근대여성 연구의 지평을 보완, 확장한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

본고는 인도네시아 신질서(Orde Baru; 1966-1998) 체제하에서 진행된 여성다움의 제도화된 이미지를 고찰해보고, 다르마 와니따(Dharma Wanita), 뻬까까(PKK), 교과서 및 인도네시아 국영방송에 표상화되어 있는 제도화된 여성다움을 검토한다. 본고는 인도네시아 신질서 기간 동안, 여성다움을 가내적 공간에 국한시키는 국가 이데올로기인 '이부이즘(ibuism)'의 테두리 안에서 특정한 여성다움의 이미지가 제도화되었음을 밝히고, 이 제도화된 여성다움이 다르마 와니따(Dharma Wanita), 뻬까까(PKK), 교과서 및 인도네시아 국영방송 등을 통해서 전파되었음을 피력한다. 결론을 맺으며 본고는 또한 특히 1990년대 중반이후, 여성다움의 불특정하고 다각적인 현대적 이미지가 대중매체를 매개로 전파되어 왔고, 이러한 현대적 현상으로 인해 신질서체제 이후인 2000년경 인도네시아 여성다움의 이미지는 다소 경합적이었음을 지적한다. 본고는 기존의 연구물들이 심도있게 다루지 않은 여성다움에 대한 국가 이데올로기의 '수단'과 '내용'에 대한 상세한 논의를 진행하며, 이를 통해서 인도네시아 신질서 체제하에서 진행된 여성다움의 제도화된 이미지를 이해하는데 소중한 자료가 되어줄 것으로 기대된다.

The influencing factors of large-scale IT investment decisions are rarely investigated in an empirical perspective. We find out different behaviors in IT investment decisions according to the size of organization. Large scale IT-investment decisions (e.g. system downsizing) can be the outcome of decision-makers' motivation to adopt and control new IT systems- However, this phenomenon is salient in the large-sized organization rather than small-sized ones. Based on our investigation, we predict general IT decision-making behaviors in organizations when making IT investment decisions.

The purposes of this research were to investigate the conditions of family life education and to develop an effective program for single-mother families. to study these objectives, two kinds of questionnaire were used and the data were obtained through 60 officials and 173 single mothers. the most frequently educated topic by organizations was counseling and mental hygiene. Family relationships and women's activity were following important topics, but family relationships was most needed topic by officials and single mothers. Concurrent education type for mother and children was more preferred and its appraisal was relatively high. for effectiveness in education, single mothers and officials both demanded more practical and easy understandable contents. According to above results, the concurrent-type program for strong mother-children relationships that emphasized communication skills, psychological strategies, and the importance of social support system was proposed.

This study is composed of two parts, The one is a description of the establishment, organization, activities and an evaluation of the four international organizations of Asian libraries and librarians: Asian Federation of Library Associations(AFLA), Congress of Southeast Asian Librarians (CONSAL), Conference of Directors of National Libraries of Asia and Oceania(CDNLAO) and Association of Parliamentary Librarians of Asia and the Pacific(APLAP). The other is an investigation of status quo of the mutual exchange in librarianship between Korea, China and Japan. It is suggested that some ways toward active participation in the international cooperative systems between Asian libraries and librarians be explored.

As an exploratory study, the purpose of this study was twofold. First, to show the process for developing a pathfinder with for assessing how the end users analyze a pathfinder ("a usability test"). Second, to provide a pathfinder for fashion marketing fields. Organised especially for students of the Fashion Graduate School in Dongduk Women's University, this pathfinder included books, periodicals, Internet web sites, online stores, brands, and apparel organizations. Participants in the test evaluated the pathfinder with medium to high grade in terms of contents, classification, and quantity of resources. In particular, they acknowledged the usefulness of a pathfinder. The results could provide helpful guidelines for the design of pathfinders. In addition, this publication provides additional information that focuses on fashion marketing fields.
