Bone morphogenetic protein(BMP) and platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF) have been demonstrated tostimulate bone formation when applied locally in vivo. To explore whether or not the combined use of BMP and PDGF could have promotive effect and synergic interaction on bone formation in vivo, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were treated with BMP-2, PDGF-BB, or BMP-2 plus PDGF-BB, and then these cells were injected into the subcutaneous space on the dorsum of nude mice. The bone formation was evaluated after 12 weeks. Histomorphometric analysis demonstrated that the subcutaneous nodules formed in nude mice contained 25.3% newly formed bone in the BMP-2 treated cells, 14.4% newly formed bone in the PDGF-BB treated cells, and 8.9% newly formed bone in the RMP-2 plus PDGF-BB treated cells. The results showed that the combination of BMP-2 and PDGF-BB had neither a promotive effect nor synergic interact on bone formation in vivo.
Pudendal nerve entrapment (PNE) syndrome refers to the condition in which the pudendal nerve is entrapped or compressed. Reported cases of PNE associated with ganglion cysts are rare. Deep gluteal syndrome (DGS) is defined as compression of the sciatic or pudendal nerve due to a non-discogenic pelvic lesion. We report a case of PNE caused by compression from ganglion cysts and treated with steroid injection; we discuss this case in the context of DGS. A 77-year-old woman presented with a 3-month history of tingling and burning sensations in the left buttock and perineal area. Ultrasonography showed ganglion cystic lesions at the subgluteal space. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed cystic lesions along the pudendal nerve from below the piriformis to the Alcock's canal and a full-thickness tear of the proximal hamstring tendon. Aspiration of the cysts did not yield any material. We then injected steroid into the cysts, which resolved her symptoms. Steroid injection into a ganglion cyst should be considered as a treatment option for PNE caused by ganglion cysts.
This study intends to provide fundamental data to develop creative high-value designs, proving that the cut-out technique, a decorative element of fashion design, can be used to express various visual effects. The author performed a literature review of such publications as Gap Press, Fashion News, and Mode & Mode from 2001S/S to 2010S/S, referring to Internet data to empirically analyze the cut-out technique in contemporary fashion. The study found that the cut-out design is effective overall, but is best suited for one-piece designs and for partial rather than whole items of clothing. The basic motif of the cut-out is a geometrical pattern based on a line, a tear, or is shapeless. The cut-out design is mostly shown as an overall pattern or as a symmetrical shape. Analysis shows that the characteristics of the contemporary fashion utilizing the cut-out technique are as follow: First, the cut-out technique exposes the curves of a woman's body in a direct or indirect way, thereby emphasizing her sexuality and maximizing the value of female beauty. Second, through the cut-out technique, we can highlight the various types of space formed by the technique and repeated patterns; we may also elaborate on single-patterned laser-cut designs, which will show that the particular surface effect of the material can strongly impact the attractiveness of the design through emphasis and decoration. Third, damaging or destroying clothes on purpose, showing surprising concepts through optical illusions, and expressing humor by ignoring existing clothing styles show our willingness to escape from traditional or obvious design ideas, as well as demonstrating individuality and playfulness.
A Chinese female writer Linhaiyin(林海音) and Chengnanjiushi(城南舊事), her representative work, have never been studied in Korea before although she and her literary works stand high and are well known in the history of the modern Chinese literature. Thus, in this paper, I analyze her and her novels included in Chengnanjiushi and study their literary value and meaning. To analyze and study them, I mainly consider novels Anhuiguan, Womenkanhaiqu, Lanyiniang, $L{\acute{\ddot{u}}}dagunr$, and Babadehuarluole included in Chengnanjiushi. Firstly, I look into her attitude and mode to observe children and women's life as a writer. Such attitude and mode succeeded to the spirit of the '5.4 literature'. Secondly, I evaluate Linhaiyin's 'Both sides complex' and its value in the history of literature. From this evaluation, the meaning of Linhaiyin's literature is highlighted. She was free from 'Both sides complex' occurred due to the circumstance of the times and played a role of a bridge so as not to break off literature of China and Taiwan. When her and her works are evaluated, this is one of the most important values. The characteristic of her writing mode is that she did not seek a compelling climax, a surprising reversal, or an exclusive plot or character in her works. In her works, plain description or unwitting conversation and story often imply deep meanings. Thus, at unexpected moment after reading her novels, readers truly listen to deep resonance for her attitude and mode to observe people's life. This is exactly her potential energy that makes readers sink into her literary world regardless of time and space.
This study will examine the relationship between women and art education between the 1910s and the 1930s, and how women broke down the feudalistic views on women by changing the perceptions of women and stepped into society through gendered art education. Women tried to restore dignity and realize freedom and equality between men and women through modern education. Nevertheless, women had to receive handicraft education for the cultivation of virtues as part of the Japanese colonial policy and returned to their traditional feminine role. However, this study aims to reveal how a small number of "new women" who studied in Japan took the lead in teaching handicrafts for the independence of women, and how they were officially recognized as in the arts and crafts community and was able to enter the exhibition space through records, interviews, and newspaper articles. In conclusion, this study hopes to provide an opportunity to examine the relationship between handicraft education and femininity, and to consider the role of art education and exhibition in the development of women into social beings.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare variant analysis results regarding overcrowded spaces and suggest a space analysis model for women's hospitals at the outpatient clinic department, central treatment department, and inpatient ward considering evacuation capability of newborns unable to perform automotive evacuation, pregnant patients and maternal patients with limited mobility. Methods: Firstly, precedent studies on women's hospitals and evacuation in hospitals were reviewed. Secondly, the analysis conditions and necessary set values for simulation were designed after analyzing the design documents of the research target hospital. Thirdly, evacuation simulation was conducted by adjusting the variables related to the evacuation behavior of inpatients and newborns. Fourthly, based on the derived results, overcrowded spaces were compared and analyzed according to evacuation behavior. Result: The study results are as follows: (1) It is necessary to check the main escape routes for occupants and to expand and adjust the size of mainly used entrances. (2) It is necessary to widen the stairs' width to alleviate overcrowding caused by patients with non-autonomous walking. (3) Due to overcrowding of the main escape route, it is necessary to identify the bypass route and adjust the width of the corridor. (4) It is necessary to plan an evacuation route for newborns to escape from the main escape route for occupants. Implications: The study result is expected to be used as primary data for research that considers the evacuation behavior of newborns and pregnant women in women's hospitals.
This study was conducted to investigate actual conditions and needs of nutrition education in order to develop a nutrition education program for pregnant women in health centers. The questionnaires were mailed to 245 health centers and 146 questionnaires were returned. Most health centers(76%) had nutrition education program for pregnant women. About 63% of supervisors were the nurses and 43% of educators were dieticians. The teaching method which was used most frequently was lecturing(34%). Teaching material which was used most frequently was material brought by invited speakers(31%). The subjects of education were the relationship between nutrition for pregnant women and the baby's health(19%), dietary guide and directions for pregnancy(19%), nutrient supplement for pregnant woman(17%), weight gain during pregnancy(16%), abnormal symptoms of pregnancy and health(15%), pregnancy complications and health(13.0%), and others. These subjects were the same ones which educators thought were needed in education. Important success factors in education were giving accurate information and guide and practice, while failure factors were lack of proper space, lack of practice, and others. Lack of a standardized nutrition education program was the biggest barrier to running a program. The subjects which were taught and the needs in nutrition education were significantly different according to respondents' age, educational level, job position, and residence of health center. Therefore, a standardized program, proper space for practice, and professional educators are needed to promote the effectiveness of nutrition education.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the bodice prototype method suitable for the upper body shape of old-old aged women using the 3D anthropometric data. And it was to provide the basic data for the upper body garments of old-old aged women. In the overall appearance evaluation, the B pattern was rated as 4.00, and it was evaluated as the most suitable for the bodice prototype of the old-old aged woman. The E pattern was rated lower than normal, and the L pattern and the S pattern were found to be inadequate for older female bodice prototypes. As a result of the measurement of the waist and bust air gap of bodice prototype, the air gap of the bust was not significantly different between the patterns. But the waist air gap showed the largest difference between the L pattern and the S pattern. As a result of evaluating the appearance, the amount of space in the state of 3D simulation, and the air gap, the pattern B appeared to be the most appropriate prototype for the old-old aged women's body shape. However, there is a tendency that the shoulder end point is biased toward the back, so it is necessary to set the inclination of the back shoulder line to be more gentle. Conversely, the front shoulder should be more inclined. In the case of the 3D simulation, the B pattern showed that the other parts generally fit well. In the case of the 3D simulation program used in this study, it was evaluated that it is suitable only for the normal body shape because it is impossible to set the isometric angle which is one of the characteristics of the older female body shape. A study on the bodice prototype suitable for the bent body shape should be carried out through experiments on the actual body shape of various elderly women. In order to cope with the increase of elderly people who are familiar with digital, I think it is necessary to develop an avatar that reflects the old female body shape.

PDGF-BB has been recognized as a highly potential growth factor for guided tissue regeneration in periodontal defect. This study carried out histologic and histometric evaluation of $200ng/cm^2$ PDGF-BB loaded bioresorbable membrane made from polyglycolic and polylactic acid. It was tested for its biocompatibility, ability to prevent epithelial downgrowth and amount of periodontal regeneration. Without membrane and PDGF-BB unloaded bioresorbable membrane were used as control. Healthy six beagle dogs were used. Each dog was anesthetized and buccal flaps were reflected in the mandibular and maxillary premolar areas. Buccal alveolar bone between the mesiobuccal and distobuccal line angles was surgically removed on the lower 2nd and 4th premolar in mandible, 2nd premolar in maxilla, to a level 4mm apical to the cementoenamel junction with creating a Class II buccal furcation defect for available space. Care was taken not to remove the root cementum layer and rubber impression materials were placed over each surgically created defect. Flaps were repositioned and sutured. Reconstructive surgery was performed 1 month after defect preparation. PDGF-BB loaded membranes and controls were randomly placed on maxillary 2nd premolars and mandibular 2nd and 4th premolars. Plaque control regimen was instituted with daily brushing with a 0.1% chlorhexidine digluconate during experimental periods. The animals were sacrificed 2 and 5 weeks after surgery and undecalcified specimens were prepared for histologic evaluation. The degree of coronal regrowth of new bone, new cementum and the amonut of new bone areas formed on the defected area of the PDGF-BB loaded membrnae turned superior to without membrane and drug unloaded membrane. Experimental membrane could prevent the epithelial downgrowth irrespective of drug loaded or not and showed good biocompatiblity, These results implicated that PDGF-BB loaded bioresorbable membrane could be highly useful tool for guided tissue regeneration of periodontal defects.
The purpose of the study is to investigate the impact and analyze the effect of smart learning based class to on the students with low academic achievement level. The study performed in G University in 2018 among students taking calculus II class. It includes 16 students with low academic achievement level, whose grades were under C in the previous calculus I class. They belonged to special class consisted of very low academic achievement level and had to pass calculus II. 3D and AR were actively used in the class. The result shows that they got visual understanding of space, which revealed through analyzing SNS, mid-term and final examination, lecture evaluation. Also, smart learning based mathematics class utilizing smartphone's application elevated academic achievement level and influenced positively on the interest and attitude toward mathematics regardless of previous academic achievement level.
