  • Industrial Control System(ICS) is a system that measures, monitors, and controls various distributed assets, and is used in industrial facilities such as energy, chemical, transportation, water treatment, and manufacturing plants or critial infrastructure. Because ICS system errors and interruptions can cause serious problem and asset damage, research on prevention and minimization of security threats in industrial control systems has been carried out. Previously wireless communication was applied in limited fields to minimize security risks, but the demand for industrial wireless communication devices is increasing due to ease of maintenance and cost advantages. In this paper, we analyzed the security threats of industrial wireless communication devices supporting WirelessHART and ISA100.11a. Based on the analysis results, we proposed the security requirements for adopting and operating industrial wireless communication devices. We expect that the proposed requirements can mitigate security threats of industrial wireless devices in ICS.

  • Recently, with rapid advances of mobile devices such as smart phone and wireless networking, a number of services using mobile device based wireless network have been explosively increasing. From the viewpoint of security, because wireless network is more vulnerable than wired network, strong security is required in wireless network. On the contrary, the security for mobile devices has to be efficient due to the restrictions of battery powered mobile device such as low computation, low memory space and high communication cost. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an efficient authentication scheme with mobile devices in wireless network environment. The proposed scheme satisfies security requirements for the service using mobile device and it is suitable in wireless network environment.

  • AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) is a core infrastructure of Smart Grid, and is promoting in various country. Wireless network is considered for cost savings and operational efficiencies in AMI. But various security problems are expected in wireless networks of AMI, so we should solve these problems. In this paper, we suggest a wireless network of AMI by using Binary CDMA and security countermeasures of AMI wireless network. Proposed security architecture is using BSIM (Binary Subscriber Identity Module) to perform user authentication and key agreement for the encryption and decryption over radio network to reduce security threats.

  • In the near future, the wireless home networks will connect several devices at home. Due to the broadcast nature of a wireless network, anyone can hear and capture communication. Thus, we need to protect our network from attacks outside the house. In this paper, we propose and implement a security system that provides different levels of the security services to heterogenous home devices. To reduce the communication cost and workload of the server, home devices send the encrypted messages directly instead of sending through the sever. We implement our security system on laptops using JAVA and our security system achieves the better performance with the large number of devices and messages in a network. In order to prove that our security system is secure against various attacks, we analyze the security of our security system using attack trees.

  • Everyday demand of wireless internet is increasing. Security problem is certainly resolved for wireless internet activation. Especially problem is only wiretap in mobile communication with voice, but problems, user authentication, data integrity guarantee etc., are resolved in data-services that have commercial transaction over simple data information service such bill, banking. Necessity of wireless PKI that can offer security service likely in wired environment is requested for offering security service in wireless environment. For offering security services, confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation etc, that of offered in wired environment in wireless environment, first it must construct wireless PKI infrastructure and do service activity. This paper analyze various wireless internet technology for offering safe wireless internet service and wireless PH standards. Performance Result of this paper expect activity of safe wireless PH service and activity of electronic commercial transaction used wireless internet such banking service, bill transaction, online shopping.

  • In reason of the high capacity and low latency, the 5G wireless networks used nowadays in many of life applications such as: remote surgery and guiding vehicle. The high requirements of 5G networks makes it more vulnerable for security threats and attacks. This paper presents some challenges faced by 5G networks and presets some of the security solutions.

  • Security has become a major concern for many real world applications for wireless sensor networks (WSN). In this domain, many security solutions have been proposed. Usually, all these approaches are based on wellknown cryptographic algorithms. At the same time, performance studies have shown that the applicability of sensor networks strongly depends on effective routing decisions or energy aware wireless communication. In this paper, we analyses vulnerability and security mechanisms in wireless sensor networks.

  • An increasing number of people who use a smart phone or tablet PC are accessing wireless networks in public facilities including cafes and shopping centers. For example, iPhones and Android Phones have been available since 2010. However, security incidents may occur through all sorts of malicious code infection of users' personal information during the use of an insecure wireless network. In this paper, we will describe the Wi-Fi protected access (WPA) and WPA2 encryption systems used to access a wireless network from a smart phone and tablet PC, and demonstrate the access point (AP) hacking process in a wireless network to which a password is applied on the basis of the analyzed WPA and WPA2 passwords. We will analyze the method of successful AP hacking and propose an approach to enhancing wireless LAN security. This study will contribute to enhancing the security and stability of wireless networks.

  • The $4^{th}$ generation mobile communications, through several radio access networks such as WLAN, Bluetooth, UMTS, GPRS, CDMA 1X, and IMT-2000 in the same area offering different type of coverage, will support interactive multimedia services in additions to wider bandwidths, higher bit rates, and service portability. Regardless of various radio access networks, they will also support robust security mechanisms, as well as seamless mobility and common authentication. In this paper, we give an overview of WLAN security and examine its security problems. We also explain the enhanced security schemes, such as port-based authentication, EAP, and IEEE 802.1X. For secure wireless communications, several possible security solutions are offered and evaluated in various respects to improve WLAN security. This paper will make a contribution to provide more secure wireless communications to cellular operators embracing WLAN technology as a means to generate new revenues based on data services.

  • The rapid progress of wireless LAN technology has prompted new security problems and countermeasures against them. Since the mobility of users and wireless access to the network exasperate potential security threat such as eavesdropping and illegal access, security services for wireless LAN should be provided. In this paper, we define the security model, WEP and AES encrypt/decrypt technologies which are proposed in the IEEE802.11 standard and the IEEE802.11eS draft and propose the Key distribution protocol for the wireless LAN.
