  • Recently, as the number of families raising dogs has increased, cases of lost dogs have frequently occurred. According to US statistics, 5% of the total dogs are reported to be alive, with only 18% reporting to their owners. Therefore, a device for preventing the loss of dogs is needed, and the demand for the market is rapidly growing. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a lost device for dogs. In this paper, we developed a loss prevention device that combines low-power broadband wireless communication technology, LoRa communication method, and GPS positioning technology. The result of this study is expected to prevent the loss of dogs. It is also expected that social problems will reduce the problem of lost dogs.

  • An example of such a new device is a mobile phone. The demand for wireless data communication is growing rapidly. However, agencies have not yet completed the standardization of the markup language. Due to the evolution of the Mobile Device, the agencies in this field have provided different data formats with each Mobile Device Platform. Traditionally, contents are hand-tailored to suit the target devices. A key problem is that the characteristics and capabilities of mobile devices are too diverse to service the most suitable mobile contents. Owing to this problem, the need for a reusable document description language increases. In this paper, we defined Template file that is common data to service mobile devices. We proposed method that could be effective wireless web service though design and the implementation of the Call Manager & the XSL Generator. In the methodology, when requesting wireless internet service, the mobile device finds out Markup language and hardware specification of the mobile device through the Call Manager component supports. The XSL Generator component creates XSL file dynamically that is the most suitable to device. Finally, contents is serviced to each device by XSLT.

  • The WiMedia Alliance has specified a Distributed Medium Access Control (D-MAC) protocol based on UWB for high speed wireless home networks and WPANs. In this paper, firstly, the fair SoQ-based Distributed Reservation Protocol (DRP) for D-MAC is analyzed. And a novel SoQ-based relay transmission protocol is proposed to overcome DRP conflicts fast. In the proposed protocol, each device executes the Satisfaction of QoS (SoQ) time slot allocation algorithm independently. And, in order to give the loser device due to DRP conflicts another chance to maintain QoS resources, the proposed relay transmission protocol helps the device reserve another indirect link maintaining the required QoS resources via a relay node.

  • With the appearance of wireless spectrum crisis in traditional cellular network, device-to-device (D2D) communication has been regarded as a promising solution to ease heavy traffic burden by enabling precise content delivery among mobile users. However, due to the channel sharing, the interference between D2D and cellular users can affect the transmission rate and narrow the throughput in the network. In this paper, we firstly present a weighted interference minimization cluster formation model involving both social attribute and physical closeness. The weighted-interference, which is evaluated under the susceptible-infected(SI) model, is utilized to gather user in social and physical proximity. Then, we address the cluster formation problem via spectrum clustering with iterative operation. Finally, we propose the stable matching theory algorithm in order to maximize rate oriented to accomplish the one-to-one resource allocation. Numerical results show that our proposed scheme acquires quite well clustering effect and increases the accumulative transmission rate compared with the other two advanced schemes.

  • In this paper, we studied a method of wirelessly checking up the POD for captive flight tests which is performed during the development of guided weapons systems. The wireless power transfer module, the power distribution device, and the battery pack were designed to wirelessly power the captive flight test POD, and the communication device was designed to enable wireless communication between the POD and the check-up device. The communication device was designed to enable WiFi, IR communication, and laser diode communication, so that various communication methods could be tested. Through the performance test, it was confirmed that power was stably supplied to the captive flight test POD, and the wireless communication performance was verified by measuring the delay time and error rate. As a result, by using our system the POD check-up for the captive flight test was performed wirelessly and the data of the captive equipment could be obtained effectively.

  • In existent industry spot, device administrators should be ever-ready for monitor and control of devices. Thus, it is inefficient because there are much human strength waste and time loss. To solve these problem, we develop a real time device management system based on wire and wireless internet. If any device brutes down, this system senses breakdown automatically and notify it to device administrators via mobile phones. Then the administrator does emergency measures for breakdown device though wire and wireless internet. For the purpose, we develop each local device control system. device management system, mobile system, and web system.

  • In this paper, a Wireless USB (WUSB) protocol is adopted for development of ASMD (Adaptive Source Multi Device) N-screen wireless services. WUSB is the USB technology merged with WiMedia PHY and Distributed-MAC (D-MAC). However, the current WUSB protocol can't provide seamless N-screen streaming services to moving WUSB devices in home network environment. Therefore, to provide the ASMD N-screen services through WUSB based on D-MAC protocol, a channel management scheme is proposed to support seamless mobility between adjacent ASMD groups for wireless IPTV N-screen services. In simulation results, proposed ASMD channel management (ACM) scheme is compared with conventional WUSB channel management scheme in view points of throughput, average path interference and energy consumption according to various numbers of nodes and elapsed simulation times. Through simulation results, it is explained that proposed ASMD channel management (ACM) scheme should be adopted in the WUSB protocol to realize ASMD N-screen wireless services.

  • In this work, a transmitter/receiver front-end module (T/R FEM) with an automatic Tx/Rx switching scheme for a 2.4 GHz microwave power transfer is developed for a retro-reflective beamforming scheme. Recently, research on wireless power transfer techniques has moved to wireless charging systems for mobile devices. Retro-reflective beamforming is a good candidate for tracking the spatial position of a mobile device to be charged. In Tx mode, the T/R FEM generates a minimum of 1 W. It also comprises an amplitude and phase monitoring port for transmitting RF power. In Rx mode, it passes an Rx pilot signal from a mobile device to a digital baseband subsystem to recognize the position of the mobile device. The insertion loss of the Rx signal path is 4.5 dB. The Tx and Rx modes are automatically switched by detecting the Tx input power. This T/R FEM is a design example of T/R FEMs for wireless charging systems based on a retro-reflective beamforming scheme.

  • The USB-IF has specified a Wireless USB (WUSB) protocol based on UWB for high speed wireless home networks and WPANs. In this paper, firstly, performance degradation due to the Private Distributed Reservation Protocol (DRP) conflict problem caused by devices' mobility is analyzed. And a novel relay transmission protocol combined with Private DRP conflict resolution is proposed to overcome the performance degradation at Private DRP conflicts. In order to give the loser device due to Private DRP conflicts another chance to maintain resources, the proposed relay transmission protocol executed at each device helps the loser device reserve another indirect link maintaining the required resources via a relay node.

  • This paper suggests a TCP/IP-based remote data monitoring system, which combines PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) technologies. Wireless PDA devices are used for remote monitoring of wireless communication by continuously collecting remote device data transmitted from servers such as temperature, humidity and device status, and displaying them on mobile devices. Therefore, remote data monitoring systems that integrate wireless and wired services provide data collection adaptive to administrators and efficient identification of device status.
