통신과 방송의 융합 환경의 도래로 상용화 되고 있는 IPTV는 초고속 인터넷망을 통해 정보 서비스, 동영상 콘텐츠 및 방송 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 무선 LAN과 IP 네트워크 기술의 발전은 IPTV, VoIP와 같은 IP 네트워크를 통한 융합된 새로운 서비스 형태를 창출하게 되었고, 무선 LAN의 발전은 보안, QoS 및 대용량의 대역폭등 높은 수준의 서비스 품질을 요구하는 IPTV 네트워크에서는 그 중요성이 매우 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 무선 LAN에서 IPTV의 영상 서비스 품질 측정을 위해 RIP와 OSPF환경의 실험 네트워크를 구성하였고, 객관적인 화질평가방법인 PSNR을 이용하여 값을 측정하고 분석하였다. 이를 통해 경로 배정 프로토콜들이 무선 LAN 환경에서 IPTV 의 실시간 영상 서비스 품질에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대한 상관관계를 나타내었다.

A digital home is a ubiquitous environment that is expected to be realized in the near future. All information appliances in a house are connected to each other through wired and/or wireless home networks. Authenticated user can access the various services provided by the digital home, and the access is not restricted by equipment, time, or location. The technologies that form the digital home can be grouped into two categories: wired networking technologies and wireless networking technologies. For the purpose of ubiquitous environments, wireless-networks offer suitable and seamless high-quality services. A wireless LAN can be created simply by equipping a single access point. For that reason, the cost of establishing such a network is low and using it is easy. Of course, there is an exciting new wireless technology. It is the Ultra Wide Band (UWB). However, it is not enough to bring wireless convenience, although offering a broad range of high-speed data transfer capabilities, Because of unstable. Thus, of the wireless-networking systems, we focus on the wireless LAN. We quantitatively analyze its capabilities. The dynamic and adaptive wireless LAN provides a foundation for the evolution toward the next generation of wireless and adaptive networks. The difference between wired LAN and wireless LAN in upload and download rates is small. Although the wireless LAN experiences a greater loss rate than the wired LAN, the difference is minimal. We conclude that a wireless LAN is suitable for use in an apartment environment.

Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) cache poisoning is a MAC layer attack that can only be carried out when an attacker is connected to the same local network as the target machines. ARP is not a new problem, but wireless network introduces a new attack point and more vulnerable to the attack. The attack on wireless network cannot be detected by current detection tool installed on wired network. In order to detect the ARP poisoning attack, there must be a ARP poisoning detection tool for wireless LAN environment. This paper proposes linux-based ARP poisoning detection system equipped with wireless LAN card and Host AP device driver

Wireless LAN is getting more popularity and plays a main role in electronic and telecommunication field. Wireless LAN is more convenient than wired LAN when mobility is required, and are sometimes the only feasible choice. Wireless LAN can also pose a significant security risk when not properly installed and maintained. Thus, this paper studies real-time message transmission using existing mobile telecommunication network and describes considerations and procedures when introducing wireless LAN concept and wireless LAN systems. It also studies integrated wired and wireless networking including wireless LAN bridge and AP technology of International Organization for Standardization, and especially real-time dynamic image data transmission in a moving train.

In this paper, we propose the burst error reduction (BER) algorithm for VoIP service in the wireless LAN network. In end point device, this BER algorithm can be achieved packet loss bounded QoS provisioning using interleaving in buffering and FEC (Forward Error Correction) through transmitting voice packet. BER algorithm can reduced the voice packet loss rate 5.5%-60% in VoIP network using wireless LAN.

통신망의 발전으로 인한 케이블 문제의 해결과 이동성 있는 통신망 구성에 대한 요구의 증가로 등장한 무선 LAN은 유선 LAN의 MAC 프로코콜을 사용하여 정보를 전송하는데 여러 가지 문제를 가지고 있다. 무선 LAN에서 매체를 처리하는 프로토콜은 시스템의 성능에 커다란 영향을 미치고 있으며, 현재 매체 처리를 위한 많은 연구가 진행중에 있다. 예약 방식인 PRMA(Packet Reservation Multiple Access)방식은 예약 단계에서 충돌로 인한 지연시간으로 인하여 시스템의 성능을 저하시키는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 예약 단계에서의 충돌로인한 지연의 단점을 보안하기 위하여 기존의 PRMA 방식을 변형하여 단점을 극복하였고, TDD(Time Division Duplex)로 전송하는 방식을 이용 무선 LAN 모델을 구성하였다. 또한 구성한 시스템의 성능분석을 위하여 M/M/1/M 프로세스 모델을 이용하였고 SLAM을 이용하여 시뮬레이션 평가 하였다.

본 논문에서는 실내 위치 인식 및 네트워크 성능 향상을 고려한 무선 랜 토폴로지의 구성 방안을 제안하였다. 먼저 위치 인식 및 네트워크 성능 향상을 고려하여 최적화된 무선 랜 토폴로지를 생성하는데 사용되는 4개의 목적 함수들을 설계하였다. 그리고 주어진 목적 함수로부터 근사 최적해를 생성하는 시뮬레이티드 어닐링과 타부 탐색 및 유전자 알고리즘 기반 메타 휴리스틱 알고리즘을 구현하였다. 마지막으로, 목적 함수와 메타 휴리스틱 알고리즘을 사용하여 제안한 무선 랜 토폴로지의 구성 방안에 대한 성능 분석을 수행하였다.

무선 LAN은 무선통신 기술의 결정체로 각광을 받고 있으나 전파라는 무선매체를 사용함으로써 정보도용의 가능성이 높으며 감시도 어렵다는 특징을 가지므로 정보보호가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 무선 LAN을 위한 보호시스템을 제시하기 위하여 IEEE 802.11 표준안 및 IEEE 802.11eS 초안에서 제시하는 무선 LAN의 보호모델과 WEP 및 AES 암/복호화 방식에 관하여 정의하고 이러한 방식에 적합한 키분배 프로토콜을 제안한다.

In this paper, we studied a new concept of wireless LAN service. Current service for wireless LAN has some weak points such as occuring a frequency shadowed area, high cost for setting a number of APs, electromagnetic interference by means of a large output transmission and weak security issues. To reduce those problems, we proposed setting antennas which are from one AP for each rooms, and designed a suitable antenna. After that we measured a PMA(Propagation Measurement & Analysis). Experimental results showed that a new concept of wireless LAN service is excellent to resolve interference and weak security issues by minimizing external propagation of a building.
