  • 국내 유선 전화망은 가입자 구간은 한회선씩을 사용하며 전송망 구간은 TDM을 사용하며 음성 한 채널에 64Kbps를 할당하고 있으며 특히 E1의 경우 회선 당 음성 30채널에 2.048Mbps로 구성되어있다 반면에 이동 전화망은 가입자 구간은 수용용량을 늘리고 효율화시키기 위해 CDMA방식을 이용하고 있지만 전송망 구간은 유선망과 마찬가지로 TDM방식을 이용하고 있다 본논문에서는 유선의 가입자 구간에 대해서도 CDM 기법을 이용하여 채널을 증가시켜 회선의 효율성을 증가시키고 비용을 저렴하게 할 수 있음을 보이고 있다.

BACnet/Zigbee 통합 시스템의 설계 (Design of BACnet/Zigbee Intrated System)

  • BACnet(Building Automation and Control Networks) is a standard data communication protocol specifically designed for building automation and control systems, BACnet provides six options for data link layer protocols and these six data link layer options can be applied with various wired transmission media. Recently wireless technology prevails in automation area. ZigBee is an IEEE 802.15.4 based standard communication protocol for low-rate wireless personal area networks. In this study, we propose a BACnet over ZigBee model that adopts ZigBee communication channel as a wireless data link layer protocol in a BACnet-based communication network system. The technology proposed in this paper can expand the BACnet application using the advantages of wired and wireless integrated network solution.

유무선망에서의 개인 주문형 음악서비스 시스템 구현 (Private Music on Demand Service in Wireless/Wired Networks)

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 유무선 망에서 사용가능한 새로운 모바일 네트워크 서비스인 PMOD(Private Music on Demand) 서비스를 소개하고 이를 구현한 모바일 디제이(Mobile DJ) 시스템에 대해서 소개한다. 새로운 개념의 PMOD 서비스는 유무선으로 통합되는 통신환경에서 개인의 취향 및 기호에 따라서 음악 서비스를 정비하여 사용할 수 있도록 하는 서비스로써, 사용자가 원하는 환경에서 원하는 음악서비스를 받을 수 있도록 하는 개념을 바탕으로 한다. 더불어서 이를 지원하는 모바일 디제이는 음악서비스를 개인의 취향에 맞도록 변경하는 서비스를 제공하여 기존의 단순히 듣기만 하는 음악에서 한차원 달라진 음악서비스를 제공하게 될 것이다.

무선 Content-Centric Network에서 Data 확산 제한 방법 (Method to Limit The Spread of Data in Wireless Content-Centric Network)

  • Since Devices such labtop, tablet, smartphone have been developed, a lots of huge data that can be classified as content is flooded in the network. According to changing Internet usage, Content-Centric Network(CCN) what is new concept of Internet Architecture is appeared. Initially, CCN is studied on wired network. but recently, CCN is also studied on wireless network. Since a characteristic of wireless environment is different from a characteristic of wired environment, There are issues in wireless CCN. In this paper, we discuss improvement method of Data spread issue on wireless CCN. The proposed scheme of this paper use MAC Address of nodes when Interest and Data Packet are forwarded. As using the proposed scheme, we reduce the spread of Data and offer priority of forwarding to nodes of shortest path, reduce delay by modifying retransmission waiting time.

유무선 네트워크 상에서 WPA 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of WPA(Wi-Fi Protected Access Technology) in Wired and Wireless Network)

  • WPA is a security service that greatly increases data protection and access control on WLANs. WPA uses TKIP that is secure algorithm of 802.11i and 802.1X/EAP authentication. It provides enhanced secure ability with the dynamic security key to correct WEP's weaknesses. In this paper, we obtain measured data transmission time that by how to create secure key of WPA in the wired and wireless network. The result shows that the delay of data transmission time was not long even if used WPA.

  • Wired and wireless communication technique is growing rapidly. As the number of communication users is larger problems such as network congestion and signal interference between users are getting most important, There have been researches that try to solve them by control theoretic approaches. They apply various control theories to the control issues of communication. this paper surveys these researches and classifies them into ATM TCP/IP and wireless communication according to the target. The feedback control model of each communication protocol is shown and related researches are summarized and analyzed.

  • We developed the system which could trace the hand and arm motion to test the product usability by integrating a wired-glove and a magnetic position sensing system. The magnetic position sensing system traces the position and orientation of the arm while the sired-glove measures 18 phal angeal joint angles. A case study was performed on two different camcorders in weight. The heavier camcorder was more stable than the lighter one. Also the recording task is more stable than the zoom-in and zoom-out tasks. This system could be used to monitor and quantify the hand and arm motion in real time and also could be used to test the product usability where the hand motion is important.

  • The Home network system means that information appliances, Home PCs, etc., using wired or wireless network method enable to control and share with peripheral devices such as internet, shared data, a scanner and a printer, and it is networking solution, which intelligent communication will be possible as the system which can do a remote control such as TV Set, refrigerators, air conditioners, DVD players, digital camcorders based on external network using an internet, a potable information terminal and a mobile phone whenever, wherever and freely. In this study, the home network interface solution is used one of the wired network standards, PLC (Power-Line Communication) technology, so we can construct of intelligent home network's home controller without re-build a network at home. On keeping with current waves of thought, we will focus on a home controller development with great interest which is enabled to do an effective managed control, applying intelligent home network technology which can be new paradigm like a cyber apartment.

  • In this paper, we would like to introduce a simple and low cost wired pointing device by using a electromagnetic induction. A number of patents of Wacom describe electronic drawing devices or styluses. The movement of the stylus over a tablet is traced electronically and used applied to a resonant circuit in the stylus. Electromagnetic radiation emitted by the resonant circuit is detected by a sensing mechanism and location processing is used to locate the stylus. In this research, difference coil principle is used to detect the emitted radiation of the resonant circuit in the pen. This detection device shows good performance to detect the location of the pen on the tablet.

  • Our present ability to work with video has not been confined to wired communication environment. This paper describes the new technological trend of wireless video communication. In wireless video communication, unlike wired network, several techniques are needed. At first, error robust video coding is essential. Due to characteristics of wireless channel, the system is exposed to more error prone environment. In addition, encoded video bit streams are vulnerable to the error because of the entropy coding. Recently many frameworks are developed to cope with this problem. We just explore the numerous robust video coding approaches with the viewing of error control. And more we discuss other on going research topics in this wireless video communication fields like low-power assumption design, trans-codec technique, and rate control schemes in brief.
