  • Attempt to protect personal computer from hacking, virus, worm, and the troy wooden horse is progressed variously. Nevertheless, it is very difficult fer public users to understand configurations to enhance security stability in windows based personal computer, and many security problem is due to there lack of recognize about information accessability, various kind of configuration, these necessity, and efficiency. Accordingly, it is demandded to develop an efficient system to protect networks and personal computer with automated method. In this paper, we derive problems of personal computer by analyzing various vulnerableness and policy on security, through which we design and implement the system to solve various windows system problem conveniently.

  • 본 논문에서는 Windows NT 기반아래 구현된 멀티미디어 원격강좌를 구현하였다. Windows NT와 SQL Server는 사용자 인증 및 자원관리를 담당하며, 원격강좌 내의 모든 자료는 널리 쓰이는 HWP 형식자료를 활용할 수 있으며, 문서자료에 음성 및 동영상, URL 링크 등을 지원하는 PDF 형식으로 제공된다. 구현된 원경강좌를 활용한 운영결과와 향후 과제 등이 논의되었다.

  • In this paper, the problems on Windows application for finite element structural analysis softwares are presented. These Windows application programs provide the better graphical representation of structural geometry through the GUI, and provide the integrated environment for managing various processors such as a preprocessor and a postprocessor. Two examples show the efficiency of this system which can represent various inputs and outputs concurrently on multi-windows by dialog-type.

  • This paper tries to define the characteristics of windows frame built in the end of Koryu dynasty to the early period of Chosun dynasty. The windows frame is found both in temples and in Maeng's house. It is thus proved that the frame was a general one prevailed in that time without regard to function and region. And it proves to be the original form of windows frame of temples and houses in the middle or the end of Chosun dynasty.

A comparison of five sets of overlapping and non-overlapping sliding windows for semen production traits in the Thai multibreed dairy population

  • Objective: This study compared five distinct sets of biological pathways and associated genes related to semen volume (VOL), number of sperm (NS), and sperm motility (MOT) in the Thai multibreed dairy population. Methods: The phenotypic data included 13,533 VOL records, 12,773 NS records, and 12,660 MOT records from 131 bulls. The genotypic data consisted of 76,519 imputed and actual single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) from 72 animals. The SNP additive genetic variances for VOL, NS, and MOT were estimated for SNP windows of one SNP (SW1), ten SNP (SW10), 30 SNP (SW30), 50 SNP (SW50), and 100 SNP (SW100) using a single-step genomic best linear unbiased prediction approach. The fixed effects in the model were contemporary group, ejaculate order, bull age, ambient temperature, and heterosis. The random effects accounted for animal additive genetic effects, permanent environment effects, and residual. The SNPs explaining at least 0.001% of the additive genetic variance in SW1, 0.01% in SW10, 0.03% in SW30, 0.05% in SW50, and 0.1% in SW100 were selected for gene identification through the NCBI database. The pathway analysis utilized genes associated with the identified SNP windows. Results: Comparison of overlapping and non-overlapping SNP windows revealed notable differences among the identified pathways and genes associated with the studied traits. Overlapping windows consistently yielded a larger number of shared biological pathways and genes than non-overlapping windows. In particular, overlapping SW30 and SW50 identified the largest number of shared pathways and genes in the Thai multibreed dairy population. Conclusion: This study yielded valuable insights into the genetic architecture of VOL, NS, and MOT. It also highlighted the importance of assessing overlapping and non-overlapping SNP windows of various sizes for their effectiveness to identify shared pathways and genes influencing multiple traits.

  • 최근 Windows 관련 취약점으로 인한 피해는 매우 커지고 있다. 그러나 그에 대한 조치는 사후처리식의 수동적 형태였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Windows 관련 취약점에 능동적으로 대처하기 위하여 Windows 관련 취약점 공격 유형을 분석하고, 그 정보를 바탕으로 주요 취약점의 동작 원리를 분석하여 사전에 예상되는 취약점의 취약성유무를 검증하는 기법을 제안한다.

  • 초고속 인터넷 망의 발전과 함께 네트워크를 통한 전체 시스템의 통합관리 및 감시가 가능해지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Windows CE 기반의 무선 인터넷 서비스를 이용한 감시 시스템을 구현하였다. 각각의 웨이블릿 인코더를 가진 원격지 카메라를 이용하여 압축한 데이터를 802.11b(Wi-Fi) 무선 랜 망을 사용하여 전송하고, 전송된 9 채널의 영상 데이터를 각 채널별로 웨이블릿 디코더를 이용하여 압축을 풀고, 고속 데이터 버스를 이용하여 동시에 화면에 디스플레이 하였다. 이러한 시스템을 구현하기 위하여 Geode GXl 프로세서 기반의 Windows CE 서버시스템을 구현하였고, FPGA를 이용하여 9 개의 웨이블릿 디코더를 통하여 입력된 영상 데이터를 제어하였고, 실시간 디스플레이가 가능하도록 하였다. 그리고, Windows CE 기반의 PCI 디바이스를 제어하기 위한 디바이스 드라이버 및 응용 소프트웨어를 작성하였다.

  • HCI(human computer interface) technologies have been often implemented using mouse, keyboard and joystick. Because mouse and keyboard are used only in limited situation, More natural HCI methods such as speech based method and gesture based method recently attract wide attention. In this paper, we present multi-modal input system to control Windows system for practical use of multi-media computer. Our multi-modal input system consists of three parts. First one is virtual-hand mouse part. This part is to replace mouse control with a set of gestures. Second one is Windows control system using speech recognition. Third one is Windows control system using gesture recognition. We introduce neural network and HMM methods to recognize speeches and gestures. The results of three parts interface directly to CPU and through Windows.
