  • 태양광 발전 시스템과 풍력 발전 시스템의 운전 특성을 분석하기 위해서 적용되는 방법은 매우 다양하다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 측정 분석 방법 중 원격지에 있는 시스템의 출력 및 운전 특성을 Compact Field Point라는 하드웨어와 제어계측 전문 Tool인 LabVIEW를 이용한 프로그래밍을 통하여 출력을 원격 모니터링하고 지장, 분석 할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 구현된 시스템은 400W 규모의 소형 태양광/풍력 발전 시스템의 모니터링 시스템으로서 전압/전류/온습도/풍향/풍속 등의 다양한 환경을 측정 할 수 있도록 하였다.

The Clinical Observation on Cases of Chronic Paranasal sinusitis (鼻淵에 應用되는 補中益氣湯 加減方의 治驗例)

  • We know paranasal sinusitis is one of the most common disease in the field of otolaryngology. Especially in the case of chronic paranasal sinusitis, patient is sufferred from recurrence. So we prescribed Bojungikgitang(補中益氣湯) to the patients who were suffered from chronic paranasal sinusitis, and we witness some noticeable improvement. Here are the findings of my experience 1. The addition and subtraction temperament drugs of Bojungikgitang(補中益氣湯加減方) are effective to the patient of chronic and feeble paranasal sinusitis by the effect of removing wind(祛風), unnecessary metabolite(祛痰), and draining pus(排膿) and strengthening digestive organs(健碑) and enriching the lung yin(益肺陰) and alleviation of pain(止痛). 2. In the symptom of chronic paranasal siunutitis, nasal obstruction, postnasal drip, sputum, headache were quick to disappear, and dysosmia, internasal polyp, etc got better slower. 3. The most quick improvement appeared within two weeks and most symptoms improved within one month, and disappeared within two months.

  • 우리나라는 산림이 울창하고 가연성 낙엽 등의 가연성 물질들이 많이 쌓여 있으며, 경사가 급하고 기복이 많은 산지로서 초기진화 실패 시 연소진행 속도가 빨라 급속히 확산 시키는 산악 형 산림으로서 산불 발생 시 진화가 어려워 산불의 확산 속도와 강도를 추정하기 어려운 실정이다. 현재 산불이 발생과 동시에 초기 진화에만 초점을 마치고 있는 시점에서 초기 진화에 실패했을 경우 산불이 확산되는 경로와 시간 등을 예측하여 최소한의 인력과 장비를 이용하여 진화하는 시스템을 구축할 수 있는 경우는 아직 우리나라에서는 미흡하다. 본 연구에서는 특정지역의 국부지형 기상인자(풍향, 풍속)를 측정하여 산불이 발생 시 인자별 특성에 따라서 산불의 진행 경로와 산불의 진화 시나리오를 예측할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하는데 그 목적이 있다.

On Forest Fertilization (임지비배론(林地肥培論))

  • The nutrient elements which are used in forest fertilization vary from country to country. The development of forest fertilization is influenced by different national interests and/or economic situtations. The fertilized area/year of each country is shown. As one can see, Korea will have one of the largest fertilized forest area in the world. Nevertheless, attention needs to be paid from the technical viewpoint, since the development has been very rapid. The fertilization techniques, kinds of nutrient element, amounts of dosage, types of fertilizers, estimation of their efficiency, leaf analysis, ecological or physiological aspects of forest fertilization, tree species, wood qualities, forest vegetation, damages such as deseases, insects, frost, wind and snow, are discussed in relation to forest fertilization. Finally, the problem of eutrophication of water is discussed. The technical assessment will become necessary in introducing new techniques into the field.

  • In this research work, nonlinear thermal buckling behavior of functionally graded (FG) plates is explored based a new higher-order shear deformation theory (HSDT). The present model has just four unknowns, by using a new supposition of the displacement field which enforces undetermined integral variables. A shear correction factor is, thus, not necessary. A power law distribution is employed to express the disparity of volume fraction of material distributions. Three kinds of thermal loading, namely, uniform, linear, and nonlinear and temperature rises over z-axis direction are examined. The non-linear governing equations are resolved for plates subjected to simply supported boundary conditions at the edges. The results are approved with those existing in the literature. Impacts of various parameters such as aspect and thickness ratios, gradient index, type of thermal load rising, on the non-dimensional thermal buckling load are all examined.

  • 본 논문은 HVDC(High Voltage Direct Current)에 적용된 MMC(Modular Multilevel Converter)의 제어 알고리즘 개발을 위한 HILS(Hardware In the Loop Simulation)을 위한 모델링 및 HILS 시스템 구축 예를 보인다. 전력 계통, MMC, 풍력 발전 등의 HILS 적용 MATLAB/SIMULINK 모델 및 FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)를 이용한 제어기 개발 내용을 보인다. 시뮬레이션 모델과 FPGA 제어기를 이용하여 구축한 OPAL-RT 기반의 실험 결과를 보인다.

Seeking magnetic separatrices on the solar surface using EUV waves

  • The EUV wave is a disturbance that has been believed to be the fast-mode (shock) wave, which can propagate passing through magnetic field lines. After the passage of EUV waves, coronal streamers start to show kink-mode oscillations, and the footpoints, i.e., magnetic separatrices, of the oscillating streamers are observed as the so-called stationary front. We compare the stationary front observed by EUV imagers and coronal streamers observed in coronagraphic images. We analyze the successive events occurred in September 2011. We find that the stationary fronts are consistent with the coronal streamer boundaries, and they are located along the boundaries of coronal holes and active regions. Our results confirm that EUV waves are in fact fast-mode waves and demonstrate that the stationary front is a promising tool to probe into the source of slow solar wind that is the boundary of coronal streamers on the solar surface.

Conformable solution of fractional vibration problem of plate subjected to in-plane loads

  • This study provides an approximate analytical solution to the fractional vibration problem of thin plate governing anomalous motion of plate subjected to in-plane loads. The method of variable separable is employed to transform the fractional partial differential equations under consideration into a fractional ordinary differential equation in temporal variable and a bi-harmonic plate equation in spatial variable. The technique of conformable fractional derivative is utilized to solve the resulting fractional differential equation and the approach of finite sine integral transform method is used to solve the accompanying bi-harmonic plate equation. The deflection field which measures the transverse displacement of the plate is expressed in terms of product of Bessel and trigonometric functions via the temporal and spatial variables respectively. The obtained solution reduces to the solution of the free vibration problem of thin plate in literature. This work shows that conformable fractional derivative is an efficient mathematical tool for tracking analytical solution of fractional partial differential equation governing anomalous vibration of thin plates.

Development of a Laboratory-based Calibration System for 5-Hole Probes (5공 프로브 실험실용 교정 시스템 개발)

  • In the field of experimental fluid dynamics, the 5-hole probe is one of the most widely used tools to measure flow velocity and pressure. We hereby describe the development of an inexpensive laboratory-based flow calibration system for 5-hole probes. The system is applied to a custom L-shaped probe, and the probe performance is compared against a standard commercial probe in a custom wind tunnel. The setup allows rotation of the probe around the yaw and pitch axes. Static and total pressure values are calculated, and then calibration maps are constructed based on the yaw and pitch angles. Using these maps, errors of the custom probe are found to be ±5% for velocity magnitude and ±3° for direction, compared to the commercial probe, when both pitch and yaw angles are within 40°.

  • Numerical solutions of two-dimensional, steady, and natural are investigated in a confined rectangular cavity with porous media. The saturated fluid is bounded by two isothermal vertical walls at different temperatures and two adiabatic horizontal walls. Governing equations are numerically solved by finite difference method with the up wind scheme. Distributions of streamline and temperature we. predicted for aspect ratios ranging from 0.1 to 1.0, Rayleigh numbers 50 to $10^4$, and tilt angles $0^{\circ}\;to\;60^{\circ}$. Representative plots of temperature and velocity field according to tilt angle are presented. The effects of aspect ratio, Rayleigh number, and tilt angle on local and average Nusselt numbers are obtained. The optimum conditions for maximum Nusselt number are also presented with tilt angles.
