  • 드론 기술이 발전하면서 물품 배달에 드론이 이용되는 등 드론은 우리 생활 전반에 자리 잡으려 하고 있다. 하지만 대부분의 드론이 기본적인 사용자 인증 과정도 없이 보안에 매우 취약한 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 드론의 취약점을 증명하기 위해 Parrot사의 AR. Drone을 대상으로 Wi-Fi 연결을 통한 인증해제, telnet을 통한 명령 수행, ftp 서버를 통한 파일 변조 공격을 적용해 보고, 이러한 취약점에 대해 무선 AP의 비밀번호를 복잡하게 설정하는 방법, 무선 침입 방지 시스템을 사용하는 방법, NAP 또는 NAC 솔루션을 구축하는 방법과 같은 적절한 대응 방안을 논의한다.

Indoor Localization Methodology Based on Smart Phone in Home Environment (스마트 폰 기반의 가정환경 내 사용자 공간 위치 예측 기법)

  • In ubiquitous environment, User's location information is very important to serve personalized service to user. Previous works consider only User's locations in the big buildings and assume APs are fixed. Normal home environment, However, is consists of small spaces. And the state of APs is highly fluid. Previous research has focused on indoor localization in the building where has stationary AP environment. However, in this paper, we propose as User's Location Predicting System that finds out a space where a user is located based on Wi-Fi Fingerprint approach in home environments. The results that conducted real home environments are using the system show more than 80% accuracy.

An Efficient Algorithm for Constructing a Maximal Request Bandwidth Tree on Public-shared Network (공유 네트워크에서 최대 요구대역폭 트리 구축을 위한 효율적인 알고리즘)

  • Recently, an idea has been suggested in which members construct the network by sharing their surplus bandwidth of their own access point. This kind of network is called public-shared network. As an application, SVC video streaming delivery system on public-shared network has been proposed. To send video stream from the stream server to clients, a tree structure is constructed where the root is a stream server, internal nodes are sharable access points, and leafs are clients. The previous researches have focused on constructing the minimal sharable-bandwidth tree which can serve all video streaming requests using the minimal sharable bandwidth. In this paper, we have shown that the problem of constructing a tree structure with given sharable access points to serve maximal video streaming requests is NP-hard. We also have developed an efficient heuristic algorithm for this problem and evaluated experimentally our algorithm.

Handoff Method Supporting LBS Information in Mobile Clouding Computing (이동 클라우딩 환경에서 LBS 지원 핸드오프 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose a handoff method supporting LBS (Location Based Services) Information in mobile clouding environment. In mobile clouding computing, handoff delay and re-authentication is occurred. A mobile node needs re-authentication procedure from cloud server whenever it arrives new AP. But Using of location information of node enables to reduce delay time due to re-authentication. To reduce re-authentication delay time, proposed method stores location information of APs on WiFi based location server to complement. GPS-based technology which can't receive satellite signal in indoor and then node collects location information of AP at handoff time. And also enables to process LBS without increasing handoff delay by splitting the process of handoff from process of requesting location information. For analysis of proposed method, We analyze handoff delay and location information process time and have compared previous handoff method in cloud environment. We confirmed that proposed method shows lower delay time without increasing LBS process time than previous method because node receives location information from location information server when handoff is occurred.

  • 가상 및 증강현실(VR/AR), 원격 제어, 산업 자동화를 위한 실시간 애플리케이션이 증가함에 따라 무선 통신 네트워크의 처리량과 지연시간 성능이 중요해졌다. 이에 따라 Wi-Fi 8 에서는 초고신뢰 (Ultra-High Reliable, UHR)을 목표로 표준화가 진행 중이며 다수의 AP가 협력하여 데이터를 전송하는 다중 AP 협력 기법이 핵심 기술로 논의되고 있다. 하지만 기존의 다중 AP 협력 환경에서 협력 전송을 위한 제어 정보로 인한 간섭 증가와 OBSS(Overlapped Basic Service Set) 간섭 문제를 고려하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 효율적인 다중 AP 협력 전송을 위한 단순화된 채널 관리 방법(Simplified Channel Management Mechanism, SCMM)을 제안한다. 실험 결과에 따르면, SCMM 이 종래모델 대비 처리량은 평균 21.23% 증가했고, 지연시간은 평균 51.02% 감소했다.

  • 최근 무선랜은 증가하는 트래픽 수요와 사용자의 다양한 애플리케이션 요구사항을 충족하기 위해 표준 기술이 진화하고 있다. 상용화가 본격적으로 시작된 WiFi 7 표준은 더 낮은 지연 시간과 더 높은 스루풋을 달성하기 위해서 멀티링크 동작(Multi-Link Operation, MLO) 기능을 도입하였다. 멀티 링크 동작은 다른 주파수 대역이나 채널을 활용하여 동시에 데이터를 송수신하는 기술로서 스루풋은 증가하지만, 전력 소모량이 커지는 문제가 있다. 또한, 종래의 무선랜 표준 기술들은 대부분 저전력의 경량 단말에서만 에너지 절감을 고려해 왔으며, AP(Access Point)의 에너지 효율성은 고려하지 않았다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 멀티링크 동작을 지원하는 AP에서 에너지 효율을 개선하는 파워 세이빙 메커니즘을 제안한다. 실험 결과에 따르면, 스루풋을 높이기 위해 링크를 산발적으로 사용하는 종래의 방식 대비 제안하는 방식의 에너지 효율성이 최대 19.18% 개선되었다.

A Design and Implementation of Ubiquitous Museum(U-Seum) Using Location Based Service and Augmented Reality (위치기반 서비스 및 증강현실을 이용한 유비쿼터스 박물관(U-Seum)의 설계 및 구현)

  • This paper presents a design and implementation of U-Seum(Ubiquitous Museum) system based on the LBS(Location Based Service) and mobile augmented reality technique. The mobile services under the smart space of the ubiquitous environments have been expanded in the various fields. In this study, we introduce U-Seum which supports tourists in the museum. U-Seum is developed by use of the position tracking technique based on Wi-Fi and mobile augmented reality. The GPS which is widely used in the position tracking has a difficulty to be utilized in the inside of the building because it requires the Line-of-Sight between a sender and a receiver. Therefore, in this paper, we develop a realtime tour-supported service through experience and evaluate the performance of the system in the world famous UNESCO's Hwa-Seong Museum by measuring the distance from the Wi-Fi signal which is suitable to track the position interior of the museum. U-Seum provides various push services such as mobile augmented reality service for explanation of the artifacts of the museum, game services and the statistics information of the tourist when the tourist approach a specific AP. U-Seum is developed in the Haw-Seong Museum by the support of the Swon Haw-Seong Cultural Foundation. With a field test, we prove that the excellence and expandability of the system.

  • Wireless network is one of the 2010's most important security issues. As smartphone is popularize, the number of Wireless Internet users is really growing and wireless AP spring up everywhere. But most wireless AP haven't being managed properly in terms of security, Wireless Internet users also don't recognize important of security. This situation causes grave security threats. This paper design and analyze a new cyber attack whose it circulates malware via QR code and activates Mobile AP to induce service charge. The new vulnerability we suggest forces to activate Mobile AP of smartphone based on Android and responds to all Probe Request are generated around, and brings induction of service charge and communication problems in its train.

Localization of WLAN Access Point Smart Phone's GPS Information (스마트 폰의 GPS 정보를 이용한 무선랜 접속점 위치 측정 방법)

  • In this article, we propose a new method for precise WLAN (Wireless Area Network) AP (Access Point) localization using GPS information measured in the smart phone. The idea is that the possible area of WLAN AP location, called AP_Area, is first determined by measuring GPS information and the received signal strength in the smart phones. As the number of measurements from the smart phones increases, the AP_Area are successively narrowed down to the actual AP location. We have performed the simulation to evaluate the proposed algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can detect the Wi-Fi AP localization within 5 m (probability over than 90%).

  • As the IoT industry expands, various application services based on location information of devices are released. In order to transmit the location information, various wireless communication technologies such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are used. However, these technologies have limited coverage, and cellular networks with relatively wide coverage have the disadvantage of paying for use. In this paper, we implemented our own location information system using LoRa, a low power long distance wireless communication technology. As a result, no cost is incurred and it has relatively wider coverage than other wireless communication technologies using LoRa technology. The implementation system enables LoRa communication based on IPv6 using CoAP and 6LoWPAN, and enables multiple devices to interwork with the existing Internet environment.
