Under the no-till direct-sown rice-vetch cropping systems, where whole chopped rice straw were returned to the paddy surface at combine harvest and whole-plant of Chinese Milk Vetch(Astragalus sinicus L.) was submerged after direct-sowing, three levels of nitrogen top-dressed(0, 2, 4 kg N/10a) without basal N and two levels of sowing rate were applied into the paddy field in expectation of the enhancement of nitrogen efficiency and protection of agricultural environment in reduced N-fertilizer level. A cultivar, Dongjin, was direct-sown on May 30, 1996. Characteristics of rice growth and physicochemical properties of rice plant were observed. Under the system, reduced total N(4 kg N/10a) resulted in high panicle numbers. N-top dressed toward at later growth stages enhanced the ratio of panicle-producing tillers and at spikelet numbers per panicle. As N-level increases, DM yields of leaf and stem at heading were increased. Maximum grain yield was obtained at 4kg N/10a and major attributed factors to grain yield in this case were the number of grains per unit area and the ratio of ripened grain.

With the continual development of genetically modified (GM) crops, it has become necessary to develop detailed and effective molecular characterization methods to select candidate events from a large pool of transformation events. Relative to traditional molecular analysis methods such as the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and Southern blot hybridization, next generation sequencing (NGS) technology for whole-genome sequencing of complex crop genomes had proven comparatively useful for in-depth molecular characterization. In this study, four transformation events, including one in Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt)-resistant rice, one in resveratrol-producing rice, and two in beta-carotene-enhanced soybeans, were selected for molecular characterization. To merge NGS analysis and Southern blot-hybridization results, we confirmed the transgene insertion sites, insertion construction, and insertion numbers of these four transformation events. In addition, the read-coverage depth assessed by NGS analysis for inserted genes might provide consistent results in terms of inserted T-DNA numbers in case of complex insertion structures and highly duplicated donor genomes; however, PCR-based methods can produce incorrect conclusions. Our combined method provides an effective and complete analytical approach for whole-genome visual inspection of transformation events that require biosafety assessment.

Purpose : This study was performed to develop the curriculum of Emergency Medical technology of College. Method : The authors analyzed curricular of EMT in 12 college in Korea. We conducted the distribution, credit, mean, frequency of liberal arts, majors, teaching profession subject by Kim and Lee(2007). We compared curriculum of knowledge and clinical training courses. Results : The numbers of whole subjects were 59.3 and the number of mean and the credits were 130.8 degree of mean. The numbers of liberal arts were 9.5 number of mean and the credits were 15.5 degree of mean. The numbers of major were 47.5 number of mean and the credits were 111.4 degree of mean. The numbers of teaching profession subject were 1.9 number of mean and the credits were 4 degree of mean. Finally, frequency of curriculum of knowledge and clinical training courses were 57.1% and 42%, respectively. Conclusion : This results will represent curriculum development and will standardize curriculum for EMT collage. in addition, it will make EMT curriculum standardized.

Disseminated cysticercosis is a rare form of cysticercosis in which the cysticerci spread out through the whole body. We report the first case of a 39-year-old Mongolian with disseminated cysticercosis. He visited our hospital with generalized tonic-clonic seizure. After extensive investigation from brain computed tomography (CT), spine magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), whole body MRI and pathologic biopsy, he was diagnosed as having cysticercosis involving the brain, subcutaneous tissue, and skeletal muscles through the whole body. We treated him with the albendazole in which case the followed MRI showed that numbers of cystic lesions were copiously decreased. We report an unsual case of disseminated cysticercosis treated with medical therapy.

The regional distribution and relative frequency of the endocrine cells in the pancreas of the bean goose were investigated by immunohistochemical methods using 6 types of the specific antisera. Spindle shaped serotonin-immunoreactive cells were detected in the exocrine portions. Spherical or spindle shaped glucagon-immunoreactive cells were observed in the exocrine and dark and mammalian type islets. In the dark type islets, numerous cells were dispersed throughout whole islets but they were located in the peripheral regions of the mammalian type islets. No glucagon-immunoreactive cells were detected in light type islets. Round or spherical shaped insulin-immunoreactive cells were observed in the exocrine and dark, light and mammalian type islets. They were observed in the exocrine regions with a few numbers. Extremely rare cells were detected in central portion of the dark type islets but moderate to numerous cells were found in the central regions of the mammalian and light type islets, respectively. Spherical or spindle shaped somatostatin-immunoreactive cells were observed in the exocrine and dark, light and mammalian type islets. A few single cells were detected in the exocrine portions. In the dark type islets, numerous cells were dispersed throughout whole islets but a few to moderate numbers of cells were located in the peripheral regions of the light and mammalian type islets. Moderate numbers of the bovine pancreatic polypeptide-immunoreactive cells were found in the exocrine portions with round, spherical or spindle shape. But no bovine Sp-1/chromogranin-immunoreactive cells were observed in this study.

본 연구는 초등학생들의 일반화된 산술로서의 대수적 추론 능력의 실태를 알아보고자, 연산의 성질 이해 과제로 구성된 검사 도구를 이용하여 2학년 648명, 4학년 688명, 6학년 751명의 반응을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 상당수의 학생들이 문제 상황에 포함된 연산의 성질을 제대로 파악하지 못하였고, 연산의 성질을 적용하여 문제를 해결하는 데 많은 어려움을 겪는 것으로 드러났다. 연산의 성질별로는 교환법칙 과제에서는 저학년에서부터 높은 성공률을 보인 반면, 결합법칙과 분배법칙에서는 고학년에서도 매우 낮은 성공률을 보였다. 문제 상황별로는 특히, 결합법칙 및 분배법칙 과제의 경우 구체적인 수 상황에서의 성공률이 임의의 수 상황에서의 성공률에 비해 상대적으로 더 낮게 나타났다. 이러한 결과들을 토대로 본 논문은 초등학교에서의 대수 지도 방안에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다.

Objective : By examining EEG status in Korean Traditional Medicine (KTM) from the viewpoint of 'form-qi theory(形氣論)', We wish to prepare for the fundamentals of applicability of KTM diagnoses to EEG. In addition, through reinterpretation of existing Western Medicine reports from the viewpoint of KTM, We tried to find out interrelationship between them. Method : In this paper, a methodology applicable to KTM diagnoses of EEG is presented from the EEG features in waveform characteristics, personalized diversity, and cognitive activity reflection. Results : Frequency bands are assigned to corresponding one of the eight trigrams in terms of yin/yang balance, which is analogous with EEG spectrum analysis mostly used in EEG quantification. The amplitude ratio of each EEG for each frequency band gives meaningful index numbers which can be used in EEG data interpretation, and every index number is named after the sixty four hexagrams. These approaches are adopted through both '4-band classification system and '6-band classification system', and applied to pre-existing reported EEG data obtained from normal adults. These analyses show that changes and distribution pattern in the index numbers are observed as a whole on both left-right line and front-back line connecting EEG measurement cephalic electrodes. And differences in distribution pattern of three index numbers deduced from '6-band classification system' are discussed according to constitution. Conclusion : The index numbers introduced here, which are the spectral power ratio for each EEG, are based on KTM yin/yang balance. These index numbers vary according to cephalic location, so its application in terms of traditional meridian theory is strongly expected. The index number distribution also shows different patterns according to constitution.

발도르프 교육은 최근 대안교육계를 통해 활발히 국내에 소개되고 있는 상황이다. 이 논문에서는 1-1학기에 지도되는 0~10까지의 지도를 중심으로 우리나라 공교육과 발도르프 교육의 지도를 비교하였다. 연구방법으로는 문헌과 자료 분석을 택하였으며, 이를 위해 우리나라 교과서와 발도르프 교육 관련 자료들을 비교하여 주된 특징들을 각각 추출하였다. 먼저 우리나라 수학교과서에 나타난 주된 특징으로, 0~9까지와 10의 분리 지도, 집합수와 순서수의 의미 지도, '1 큰(작은) 수'의 지도, '이야기'의 활용 등을 들 수 있다. 발도르프교육 자료에서 나타난 주된 특징으로는 질적인 측면에서의 수의 지도, 이야기 들려주기, 리듬으로 수 만나기, 전체성에서 부분성으로 나아가기 등을 추출하였다. 결론적으로, 위와 같은 차이를 일으키는 근본적인 기제는, 상대적으로 우리나라 공교육에서는 수학적 구조나 개념이 주요한 요소로 작동하고 있다면, 발도르프 교육에서는 특정 연령에 있는 아이들의 발달적 특성을 주된 요소로 고려하여 지도하는 데 있는 것으로 보인다.

To examine local response of adenosie(purine nucleoside) on the developing mammary gland, Elvax 40P implants containing adenosine were surgically implanted into mammary fat pad of the five week old female ICR mice. Inguinal(the 4th) mammary glands of anesthetized mice were exposed andplaced the implants for 12 days. One gland was treated with an adenosine implant, while the contralateral gland received a blank implant as control. For whole-mount preparations, glands were stained with alum carmine, and for histological observation, micro-selected mammary glands were stained with hematoxylin and eosin Y. Implantation with Elvax 40P did not affect on the damage of neighboring mammary tissue. Adenosie 25 or 250$\mu\textrm{g}$ per slow-release implant stimulated local mammary end bud formation of ovariectomized mice such as end bud size and numbers of end bud per gland in a dose dependent manner(P<0.05), and lower concentration of adenosie(2.5 or 25$\mu\textrm{g}$/implant) increased numbers of end bud(P<0.05) and end bud size(P<0.1) of intact mice. Adenosine treatment and intact ovarian function had moderate interation effects on the stimulation of end bud formation at 2.5$\mu\textrm{g}$ adenosine/implant(P<0.1). In histological observation, adenosine implants increased numbers of mammary epithelial type of cells at mammary duct in the presence or absece ofovary. These results indicate that adenosine should be one of regulators in mouse mammary ductal growth.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the utilization level of forecasting methods in contract foodservice management companies. Questionnaires were distributed and collected from 30 foodservice management companies contracted with universities and 49 university foodservices in Seoul and Kyungki area. Statistical data analysis was performed using SPSS/WIN 10.0 based on the production records of Yonsei University foodservices and the weather reports from a meteorological observatory. The results of this study were as follows: 1) The objectives of the fore-casting systems were identified as saving costs through eliminating the leftover, meeting the customer demands, and improving efficiency in food preparation.2) All of the university foodservices were already performing the forecasting methods but in foodservice management companies as a whole,89.7 percents were applying the method and only 55.2 percents had the separate forecasting department. 3) A large number of foodservice staffs in the head office (65.5％) answered that they often utilized intuitive estimates based on the past experiences and records for forecasting while 65.3% managing staffs in the university foodservices answered the same.4) Both in the head office and university foodservices, actual number of meals served were recorded. In the head office, mostly estimated numbers and actual numbers of meals were recorded while estimated, prepared, and actual numbers of meals served were recorded for most of the cases in university foodservices. 5) The primary factors considered for forecasting were the actual production records for the last month, the customer preference for the selected menu items, and the specific day of the week.
