This study was conducted to develop the suitable plant mat for garden mum. The results about growth 2 months after cutting of garden mum (Dendranthema grandiflorum 'White Miri') under 6 different plant-mat treatments using coir tape were as follows. The majorities of cuttings were withered under treatments of non-soiled 15 mm thick mat (C treatment). On the other hand, the same thick mat having a hole filled with soil 3 mm in diameter (D treatment) and the 30 mm thick mat having a hole filled with soil (F treatment) showed the best growth results. The survival rates of treatments D and F showed the higher rates of 100 and 90%, respectively than those of respective 56.3 and 20% of two layers without medium (A treatments) and C treatment having respective 10 and 15 mm thick non-soiled mats. The plant height showing the similar tendency with the result of the survival rate was shown with the lower value of 7.97 and 7.15 cm, respectively under treatments A and C, compared with the higher value of 9.74 and 9.80 cm respectively under treatments D and F. For flower gardening, it is better to adopt treatment D based on the our investigational results that treatment D required less soil than treatment F and had no trouble with forming adventitious roots for manufacturing mats and effective transferring.

We have developed the five mask $PMOS^1$ and the six mask CMOS process architecture for poly-Si TFT. In order to have a competitive process with that for a-Si TFT, the simple co-planar electrode structure whose data line electrode and pixel electrode are on the same plane was adopted. In addition, RGB + White four color $technology^2$ were applied to achieve high aperture ratio and transmittance. Using the aforementioned process architecture and four color technology, 2.0 inch qCIF transmissive micro-reflectance (TMR) device was successfully fabricated.

Environmental mismatch has been one of important issues discussed in matched field processing for underwater source detection problem. To overcome this mismatch many algorithms professing robustness have been suggested. Feature extraction method (FEM) [Seong and Byun, IEEE Journal of Oceanic Engineering, 27(3), 642-652 (2002)] is one of robust matched field processing algorithms, which is based on the eigenvector estimation. Excluding eigenvectors of replica covariance matrix corresponding to large eigenvalues and forming an incoherent subspace of the replica field, the processor is formulated similarly to MUSIC algorithm. In this paper, by using the ocean experimental data, processing results of FEM and MVDR with white noise constraint (WNC) are presented for two levels of multi-tone source. Analysis of eigen-space of CSDM and FEM performance are also presented.

In this paper I examine Cesare Cattaneo and Mario Radice's Camerlata Fountain in northern Italy, focusing on the work's relation to the urban environment and its "mobility" over several decades. As I demonstrate, the design of Cattaneo and Radice's work relates to the circular layout of a traffic intersection and was intended to be viewed from the window of a moving automobile. In this way it continues a tradition, begun by the Futurists and continued by Le Corbusier, who saw the car as central to modern art and architecture. Moreover, the work relates to the concept of mobility in so far as it was in itially built in 1936 in Milan and subsequently destroyed and reconstructed during 1962 in its current location near Como. As the history of the work's conception, production and reception demonstrates, Cattaneo and Radice's work not only responds to the experience of vehicle-generated mobility in modern society but also reveals the tensions and anxieties associated with an increasingly dynamic urban environment.

This studies were conducted to investigate on the shade adaptation of native Sedum kamchaticum and Disporum smilacinum. All plants were grow under the controlled light intensity conditions, which controlled by two shading materials, white and/or black shading net. The results obtained were as follow. 1. Daily changes of the shading area around of the building were various by building height, width and direction. 2. Upper canopy was composed to Pinus densiflora as dominant species in native sites of Disporum species. 3. Many branches of Disporum smilacinum were sprouted after pinching. However their growth were less elongated shorter than those of Disporum viridescens. 4. Sedum sarmentosum was poor growth under the low relative light intensity as 50%, however, the growth of this species closely was similiar as under the full sun condition.

Fog to which environmental impacts are sensitive has a danger to the safety of citizens due to the difficulty in predicting the specific area/time zone. Therefore, we propose a white smoke fog reduction technique using a fog removal device that can remove fog particles directly through dry air and anionic condensation nucleus instead of conventional passive countermeasures. In this study, to verify the effect of reducing fog and the effect of temperature on the white smoke fog which is frequently occurred in the detention basin. As a result, the visible distance of 100m or more was secured within 30 seconds, and it was confirmed that the fog reduction effect is more effective. Also, the lower the temperature, the larger the amount of white smoke fog was. However, the effect of reducing the white smoke fog by temperature was insignificant. Through this experiment, it was possible to verify the reduction effect of the white smoke fog generated in the detention basin through fog removal device.

Water-Birds are the birds that occupy the highest proportion in Korea, inland wetlands and reservoirs provide them with a good environment as habitat, but their habitats have been losing because of thoughtless development. Therefore, artificial plant islands in reservoirs are important for improving habitat environment and providing food resources. However, there are no research and standards on the built and management of artificial plant islands. So this study is to find out the density of bird using artificial plant island as habitat through monitoring using UAV focus on the Cheonho-reservoirs located in Seobuk-gu, Cheonan-si(Middle Chungcheong Province). Further, the correlation analysis with environmental factors was conducted to determine the effect of artificial plant islands as habitats for water-birds. The supervised classification of the three-time images taken by the drone identified 244 white-billed ducks and 46 mandarin ducks. The utilization rate was different for each photographed date, and more individuals were identified in wet artificial plant islands than dry ones. As a result of analyzing the utilization follow environmental factors, the distance from the trail showed a significant correlation, and the other factors did not have a statistically significant effect. This study is the first case of the UAV monitoring method of the water-birds using artificial plant islands in the reservoir, and can be used as the basic data for the built and management.

After modernism, artistic movements such as Cubism, Futurism, De stijl and Bauhaus demonstrated a connection to architecture and other plastic arts and developed a tendency towards a synthetic art. Above all, the unification of painting and architecture is the most noticeable point; a blueprint and a multi-coloring space that are applied on 3-dimensions painting brought new dimensions into relief. Following this artistic trend, it is easy to point out that Le Corbusier's works; which were created under the name of Charles Edouard Jeanneret, show the pictorial peculiarity in the Space Design. Even if white space that he has designed under the slogan such as standardization and mechanization, the variety and metamorphism that he has tried to express on his work have widely been recognized. Especially, his late architectural works were produced as the figurative arts expressing the ambiguity of painting and hence led a step towards a synthetic art. The study analyses Le Corbusier's 2-dimensional Painting as well as his 3-dimensional Space Design. Furthermore, it aims at embarking on the unification of painting and architecture in terms of Le Corbusier's synthetic design philosophy.

Through the 20th century architectural theory of rational thinking and the principles according to the statement of the firm, Le Corbusier's early works by analyzing the language of architecture, including his architectural concepts and helps the understanding of modern architecture. Masters of modern architecture as a place among the works of Le Corbusier in the 1920s, 'Le Corbusier's White Period' homes to target by age, and that his initial concept of the formation process of clarifying, further the construction of his golden age will be the key to understand. I selected housings from Maison Citrohan to villa Savoye, the category of architectural elements by considering the development process, he examines developments of the concept of modern architectural space. In analysis process, First of all, I am focused on between each element in the development process to review and explicate the integration process. The advent of the machine which he lived, because of its incredible potential reorganization of human society, as well as to celebrate the start of a new lifestyle. His architectural language of the times in the machinism could achieve progress and modern art, which is a new interpretation of the natural world.
