A New theoretical energy spectrum model for underwater explosive sound is introduced in order to calculate the precise spectral energy levels. This model is obtained by Fourier analysis of Gaussian formula which accurately represents the pressure wave generated from Underwater explosions. In case that explosive energy is very low. The spectrum levels which are obtained from the new theoretical model are in good agreement with the experimental spectrum levels, while the Weston model using impulse formula cannot interpret the experimental results.

This paper attempts to illuminate the significance of the myth or mythical method used in The Waste Land, which Eliot adapted from Jessie L. Weston's From Rituals to Romance and Sir James Frazer's Golden Bough. While he was composing a modern epic, James Joyce's Ulysses and Igor Stravinsky's Le Sacre du Printemps made him sure that the mythical method would be the best way to make the non-relational and chaotic modern world into a work of art. Although he accepted F. H. Bradley's epistemology that one's actual experience is non-relational, he strongly put an emphasis on 'the unified sensibility' in John Donne's poetry with which a poet changes all the dissociated material into art. He also found another effective method to give the chaotic experiences an order, and to make them modern art: the mythical method in his contemporary anthropology. With the mythical method he incorporated the various barren, horrible and ugly aspects of modern world into a new unity in The Waste Land. In addition, he embraced his contemporary anthropological theory that a primitive life described in myths is a culture just different from modern culture, and heartily employed some aspects of primitive culture to make modern poetry as well as modern culture rich and exuberant.

It is unfair that environmental pragmatism has been regarded as a mouthpiece for industrial expediency and business boosterism. John Dewey's radical pragmatism known as 'Instrumentalism' has provoked ecological fundamentalists' criticism more vehemently than any other pragmatic philosophies. However, most of the presumptive misunderstandings of such critics as Holmes Rolston, J. Baird Calliott, Erich Katz, C. A. Bowers and many others come from their limited or reduced reading of Deweyan pragmatism. The following three aspects of Deweyan pragmatism can work out in opening up a dialogical space with those eco-centrist thinkers mentioned above. First, the concept of Dewey's 'primary experience' can articulate the foundationalist view of nature, which is often found in aboriginal cultures. Second, as Andrew Light points out, ecological essentialism can share its metaphilosophical position with the pragmatist epistemology. While Anthony Weston pursues pluralism, admitting that the foundationalism might be one of the efficient approaches to nature, Eric Katz is also clearly attracted to the metaphilosophical element in Weston's argument that anyone who attempts to claim the 'inherent value' of non-human nature never possibly avoids a pitfall of anthropomorphism. Lastly, in a more comprehensive perspective, Dewey's pragmatism shows a philosophical complexity, what Larry A. Hickman calls 'post-postmodernism.' a dynamic interaction between modernism and postmodernism. Significantly enough, the environmental version of this complexity can procure a meeting ground between foundationalist ecology and the pragmatic view of nature.

Acid type saturated Weston cells that can be used as the standard of electromotive force unit were constructed and their characteristics in a specially designed enclosure were evaluated. Cadmium sulfate was purified by recrystallization under vaccum. Mercurous sulfate with dispersed mercury and the exact composition of cadmium amalgam were obtained by means of electrolysis. The enclosure was constructed using a commercial circulator. Temperature of the enclosure was only drifted in the range of ${\pm}$5 mK in the case of extreme change of room temperature. The electromotive force of standard cells was measured over the temperature range of 5∼${\sim} 30^{\circ}C$. The standard deviation of the electromotive forces was about 1 ppm.

In this study, by selecting specific aptamers that selectively detection on P. gingivalis, the main cause of periodontal disease, and purifying and identifying protein molecules that bind to the selected aptamers, the mechanism of action of P. gingivalis was investigated. A DNA library having 39 random sequences was prepared, and aptamers with specificity for P. gingivalis were selected using the SELEX method, and the nucleotide sequence was analyzed by cloning using PCR2.1 cloning vector. 8 of aptamers with different nucleotide sequences were selected, and modified weston blot was performed using APG-3 among the selected aptamers to identify 11 proteins that act directly, and proteins were analyzed. As a result, a protein that selectively binds to P. gingivalis was isolated and identified. Therefore, aptamer selectively binds and attaches to proteins related to inhibition of sugar metabolism and cell activity of P. gingivalis, suggesting the possibility of a sensor for diagnosis of periodontal disease.

In agreement with the results of previous MP2 calculations by Sauers, B3LYP, CASSCF, and CASPT2 calculations on the parent 2-carbena-1,3-dioxolane show that it fragments to ethylene plus $CO_2$ by a concerted pathway with only a small energy barrier. Not only is fragmentation via stepwise C-O bond cleavage computed to be a much higher energy pathway, but the singlet diradical that would be an intermediate along such a reaction path is not even computed to be a local minimum on the potential energy surface.

우리나라의 speaker제작의 역사는 얼마되지 않을 뿐더러 자급자족의 영역을 못 벗어나고 있다. Weston speaker, 자사내에서 자급자족하고 있는 금성사제 speaker등 완전히 질량의 단계에 못들어가고 있는 실정이다. 그나마 성능면에서도 뒤떨어짐을 면할 수 없는 실정이다 .부속품 예컨데 자철 coil접착제등 거이 매매회사에서 직수입하고 있는 형편인것 같다. 물론 종합공업이 발달해야만 되겠기에 단편적 발달은 기하기 어려울 줄 안다. 그러나 speak의 조립 공정에서 끝마치고 있는 형편이고 보면 한심할 지경이다. 물론 speaker제작이라고 하는 것은 극히 delicacy한 면을 가지고 있다. 즉 효율은 $B^{2}$에 비례하는것은 당연하지만 효율을 높이고저 공기부하의 저항을 크게 할려면 corn의 입경이 크게 되므로 자연적으로 진동계의 질량이 크게되며 또 voice coil의 저항을 적게하자니 coil가 필연적으로 굵게되어 길이가 짧게 될 뿐만아니라 air gap 이 크게되어 자속밀도 B가 적게 되는 상반관계가 있다. Cabinet, baffle, corn, corrugation, speaker system등을 가장 합리적으로 설계할 필요가 있다. 이 실험결과를 보고함으로서 speaker연구에 대한 욕구를 갖고 의욕적인 계기가 되었으면 한다. Voice coil 의 turn수를 바뀌었을때 impedance을 측정하였으며 turn수와 음압level 및 주파수 관계를 알아보았다. 그리하여 중형 speaker의 주파수특성을 알아 설계에 기여하고저 한다.

터치 디스플레이 기술이 발달함에 따라 이를 이용한 스마트 폰을 비롯한 스마트 테이블, 스마트 월 등 다양한 HW 플랫폼들이 대두되고 있다. 특히, 터치 디스플레이의 대형화가 가능해짐에 따라 이를 기반으로 다양한 서비스가 제공될 것으로 예상된다. 이를 이용하는 서비스들은 멀티 터치를 기반으로 한명 이상의 사용자 입력을 필요로 할 수 있다. 이에 따라 터치 디스플레이의 주요 입력 도구인 가상 키보드 역시 마찬가지의 요구사항이 있다. 본 논문에서는 리눅스 환경에서 차세대 윈도우즈 매니저(Wayland/Weston)을 기반으로 가상 키보드 등록, 생성 및 사용 과정에 대해 분석하고, 멀티 가상 키보드를 지원하는 윈도우 매니저를 설계 및 구현한다.
