Grinding aid is a necessary unit operation when the raw materials are handled in solid form, and the purpose is to improve the bioavailability by reducing the particle size. For the particle design of pefloxacin, the dry planetary ball-mill was used. With the drying process, 330 g of zirconia ball with its size of 2 mm in diameter and 10 g of pefloxacin were transferred to the pot and mixed well. The mixture was ground at 112 rpm (60 Hz) for 15, 30, and 60 min, respectively. The most satisfactory grinding products were generated at 15 min of grinding time for their particle size. The volume mean diameter $\X_50$ of the grinding products was 2.97 $\mu$m. X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and infrared spectroscopy (IR) patterns were relatively unchanged before pulverizing pefloxacin and in the progress of grinding. Thus, these results suggest that this pulverizing method can be used for grinding products without evident effect on stability of the drug pefloxacin. Dissolution test was carried out to set up the optimal detective condition against residual antibacteria of fish by HPLC. The grinding pefloxacin for 15 min is most effective in dissolution test.
The purpose of this study is to develop a sample chapter of mathematics textbook at the first middle school according to the model of supporting learners' self-directed learning. The self-directed learning is a learning strategy to develop learner's ability to solve unstructured problems by himself or herself. Basically, the textbook should included learning objectives distinctively. Second textbook should consist of some appropriate method for learners to learn content. Third, it suggests some plans to utilize learning strategies of this model effectively when authors or developers develop textbooks in future. Based on those condition, it is also requested that the sample chapter of the textbook be develop in order to study interestingly as well as to implement self-directed study, and content materials using mixed diverse subjects would be included in the chapter. Furthermore, the sample chapter which is suitable to the semester of managing self-directed learning middle school would be developed. For this purpose, in this study the 'Plane shapes' was selected dealt with in the first middle school. The sample chapter is developed at first by the researchers and then revised and completed through the checking from the professionalists two times.
Objectives : In order to provide basic data necessary for developing oral health education plane for school continued oral health education by understanding knowledge and activities of oral health. Methods : This study was performed against 324 students at 5th grade of 2 elementary schools in Iksan-si, Jellabuk-do selected through convenience sampling, who were in mixed dentition period that might experience dental caries of permanent tooth. Results : As results, For the knowledge level on oral health by questions, it was found that the case that the elementary school students had correct knowledge on oral health was 'chocolates, snacks, and candies were foods that might often cause dental caries' and 95.8% of the students recognized it well. It was found that for 'must do toothbrushing before going to bed', 'during toothbrushing, I clean my tongue', and 'Proper time necessary for toothbrushing is about 3 minutes', 89.3%, 93.2%, and 89.3% of the students knew the, respectively. When oral health knowledge level by groups was divided into 3 groups and observed, they were classified into Low (0-4 points), Mid (5-7 points), and High (8-10 points). It was found that the knowledge level of each group was High 64.1%, Mid 33.9%, and Low 2.0% and it was identified that the high group took the largest ratio. It was suggested also for oral health knowledge level depending on their father's academic background that there was a statistically significant difference in the group higher than university graduate(p<.05). It was found for oral health knowledge level depending on parents' dental condition that an answer that both parents were good was high and there was a statistically significant difference. But post-analysis resulted that there was no apparent difference among groups. It was found that the ratio of respondents who answered for toothbrushing method 'toothbrush should be moved and rotated downward for the upper teeth and upward for the lower teeth to clean the teeth and gum' were 33.2% of male students and 29.4% of female students and showed statistically significant difference (p<0.05). It was found also that the ratio of respondents who answered to use a toothbrush for about 3 months' were 29.4% of male students and 25.5% of female students and showed statistically significant difference (p<0.05). Conclusions : Oral health program through the elementary school students and their parents for the development of proper oral health care education programs continue to be made should be considered.

A transient, three-dimensional, two-phase flow analysis code, CUPID, has been developed in KAERI. In this work, we performed a preliminary analysis using the CUPID code to investigate the thermal-hydraulic behavior of the moderator in the Calandria vessel of a CANDU reactor. At first, we validated the CUPID code using the three experiments that were performed at Stern Laboratories Inc. To avoid the complexity to generate computational mesh around the Calandria tube bundles, a porous media approach was applied for the region. The pressure drop in the porous media zone was modeled by an empirical correlation. The results of the calculations showed that the CUPID code can predict the mixed flow pattern of forced and natural convection inside the Calandria vessel very well. Thereafter, the analysis was extended to a two-phase flow condition. Also, the local maximum temperature in the Calandria vessel was plotted as a function of the injection flow rate, which may be utilized to predict the local subcooling margin.

The AC-common bus microgrid system can overcome several weaknesses of the DC microgrid system by interconnecting the DC/AC inverters used for renewable energy with an AC network. Nevertheless, the unbalanced loads inherent in the electric power systems of island and small communities can deteriorate the performance of the AC microgrid system. This is because of the limited voltage regulation capability and mixed power flow in the voltage source inverter. In order to overcome the unbalanced load condition, this paper proposes a voltage and current control algorithm for the 4-leg inverter based on the single phase d-q control method, as well as the modeling of the voltage controller using Matlab/Simulink S/W. From the S/W simulation and experiment of the 250KW proto-type inverter, it is confirmed that the proposed algorithm is a useful tool for the design and operation of the AC microgrid system.

Long term hydrogen production was investigated in an anaerobic sequencing batch reactor (ASBR) using mixed microflora. Glucose (about 8,250 mg/L) was used as a substrate for the ASBR operation under the condition of pH 5.5 and $37^{\circ}C$ with mixing at 150 rpm. The experiment was carried out over a period of 160 days. Hydrogen yield was 0.8mol $H_2/mol$ glucose with F/M ratio 2 at initial operation period. The hydrogen yield reached to maximum 2.6 mol $H_2/mol$ glucose at 80th day operation. However decreased hydrogen yield was observed after 80 days operation and eventually no hydrogen yield. Although well-known hydrogen producer Clostridium sp. was detected in the reactor by PCR-DGGE analysis, changed reactor operation was the major reason of the decreased hydrogen production, such as low F/M ratio of 0.5 and high propionic acid concentration 2,130 mg/L. Consequently the long period operation resulted in MLSS accumulation and then low F/M ration stimulating propionic acid formation which consumes hydrogen produced in the reactor.

The experiment was conducted to investigate the agricultural utility of macro-porous calcium-silicate rnineral(CellCaSi) as topsoil mixture, as well as to estimate as a soil conditioner. The bulk density of CellCaSi which is consisted of various particle sizes ranging from 1mm to 3.35mm was about $0.42g/cm^3$, and its maximum porosity was approximately 81.4%. We also investigate gerrnination rates for Cabbage and Lettuce to obtain the suitable mixing ratios of CellCaSi with topsoil. Among 4 different mixing ratios, the germination rates of ropsoil mixed with 10% of CellCaSi were 94.1% and 64.6% for Cabbage and Lettuce, respectively resulted in the mosr suitable for germination. The growth rates for Cabbage and Lettuce showed thar 10% and 20% of CellCaSi treatments signification influenced the fresh weight. To observe the adsorption capacity of CellCaSi, CellCaSi was treated with a chemical fertlizer(N:P:K=18:18:18). lncreasing the contents of N, P and K, the amounts of adsorption by CellCaSi for these element also increased. The most suitable types nutrient resources for growth condition of Cabbage, and Lettuce were Fer-1 and Fer-0.5.

The stochiometric mix of evaporating materials for the $CdGa_2Se_4$ single crystal thin films was prepared from horizontal furnace. To obtain the single crystal thin films, $CdGa_2Se_4$ mixed crystal was deposited on thoroughly etched semi-insulating GaAs(100) substrate by the Hot Wall Epitaxy (HWE) system. The source and substrate temperature were $630^{\circ}C$ and $420^{\circ}C$, respectively. The crystalline structure of single crystal thin films was investigated by the photoluminescence and double crystal X-ray diffraction (DCXD).The carrier density and mobility of $CdGa_2Se_4$ single crystal thin films measured from Hall effect by van der Pauw method are $8.27{\times}10^{17}\;cm^{-3},\;345\;cm^2/V{\cdot}s$ at 293 K. respectively. The temperature dependence of the energy band gap of the $CdGa_2Se_4$ obtained from the absorption spectra was well described by the Varshni's relation, $Eg(T)\;=\;2.6400\;eV\;-\;(7.721{\times}10^{-4}\;eV/K)T^2/(T+399\;K)$. After the as-grown single crystal $CdGa_2Se_4$ thin films were annealed in Cd-, Se-, and Ga -atmospheres, the origin of point defects of single crystal $CdGa_2Se_4$ thin films has been investigated by PL at 10 K. The native defects of $V_{Cd}$, $V_{Se}$, $Cd_{int}$, and $Se_{int}$ obtained by PL measurements were classified as donors or accepters. We concluded that the heat-treatment in the Cd-atmosphere converted single crystal $CdGa_2Se_4$ thin films to an optical p-type. Also, we confirmed that Ga in $CdGa_2Se_4/GaAs$ did not form the native defects because Ga in single crystal $CdGa_2Se_4$ thin films existed in the form of stable bonds.

The diamond films which can be applied to SOD (silicon-on-diamond) structure were deposited on Si(100) substrate using CO/H2 CH4/H2 source gases by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition(MPCVD), and SOD structure have been fabricated by poly-silicon film deposited on the diamond/Si(100) structure y low pressure chemical vapor deposition(LPCVD). The phase of the diamond film, surface morpholog, and diamond/Si(100) interface were confirmed by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), atomic force microscopy(AFM), and Raman spectroscopy. The dielectric constant, leakage current and resistivity as a function of temperature in films are investigated by C-V and I-V characteristics and four-point probe method. The high quality diamond films without amorphous carbon and non-diamond elements were formed on a Si(100), which could be obtained by CO/H2 and CH4/H2 concentration ratio of 15.3% and 1.5%, respectively. The (111) plane of diamond films was preferentially grown on the Si(100) substrate. The grain size of the films deposited by CO/H2 are gradually increased from 26nm to 36 nm as deposition times increased. The well developed cubo-octahedron 100 structure nd triangle shape 111 are mixed together and make smooth and even film surface. The surface roughness of the diamond films deposited by under the condition of CO/H2 and CH4/H2 concentration ratio of 15.3% and 1.5% were 1.86nm and 3.7 nm, respectively, and the diamond/Si(100) interface was uniform resistivity of the films deposited by CO/H2 concentration ratio of 15.3% are obtained 5.3, 1$\times$10-9 A/cm, 1 MV/cm2, and 7.2$\times$106 $\Omega$cm, respectively. In the case of the films deposited by CH4/H2 resistivity are 5.8, 1$\times$10-9 A/cm, 1 MV/cm, and 8.5$\times$106 $\Omega$cm, respectively. In this study, it is known that the diamond films deposited by using CO/H2 gas mixture as a carbon source are better thane these of CH4/H2 one.

In this study, biological treatment process of MWWT(Municipal wet-waste Treatment) has been developed through a moduling of the containerized closed ATAD(Auto thermal aerobic digestion) system & closed vertical dynamic acerator, which were used for food waste and cattle manure, respectively. Though biological process has several advantages such as low concentrations of heavy metals and salts, proper and stable C/N ratio and constant reaction rate against the process treating two wastes separately, it has a obstacles of salt concentration and much usage of bulking agent such as wood chip. After rapid oxidation in the boxed tower reactor for 5 days, the content of sewage sludge would be reduced 65% on around, might be mixed with the food waste that had been treated in the static closed reactor during 6 days and put in the secondary static reactor for curing. During composting process, the odor contained in the gas generated from the reactor was removed by passing it through a biofilter as well as the leachate was treated in the wastewater treatment facility. Consequently, it seemed to be possible to compost sewage sludge at mild and stable operating condition and at low cost through the biological ATAD process resulting in the production of organic compost satisfying the specifications regulated by itself.
