휴대폰용 리드 및 프레임의 접합력 향상을 위한 설계 변수 평가 (Estimation of Design Variables for Improving the Bonding Force of Lid & Frame for Cellular Phone)

  • A lid & frame used as the shield of electromagnetic waves in cellular phones are composed of frame, which is welded at their electric circuits, and lid, of which debonding and joining are available from the frame. Typical lid & frame were mechanically bonded by contact between the embossing of lid and the piercing of frame. Bonding force of this part has to allow us to detach the lid from frame for exchange or fix of the electric part and have to be high enough to protect the electric part from external impacts. This study is designed to estimate the effect of design variables of lid & frame on its debonding force. Estimations were performed by finite element method.

  • 철도교는 일반적으로 설계하중에 근접한 열차하중이 빈번하게 통과할 가능성이 있으므로, 초기설계단계부터 여러 구조상세에 대해 피로특성을 충분한 반영하는 것이 필요하다. 그럼에도 불구하고 철도교에 작용하는 축하중의 크기 및 배치 특성, 피로에 대한 부적절한 구조상세의 적용 등으로 인하여 강철도 플레이트거더교에서 부분적으로 피로균열이 보고되고 있다. 상부플랜지와 복부의 용접이음부에서의 피로균열의 주요 발생 원인의 하나는 침목을 지지하는 주거더와 열차하중이 작용되는 레일과의 중심간격 차이에 따른 열차하중의 편심작용에 의한 것이다. 이 연구에서는 공용중인 강철도 상로플레이트거더교를 대상으로 현장조사 및 현장계측, 일련의 구조해석을 실시하고, 대상교량의 구조거동 특성 및 피로균열의 발생 원인의 규명, 보수 보강(안)에 대하여 검토하였다.

울릉도 곰바위용결응회암 내 흑요암의 산출특징과 성인 (Occurrence and Genesis of Obsidian in Gombawi Welded Tuff, Ulleung Island, Korea)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 울릉도 남서부 지역에 분포하는 흑요암의 화산학적, 광물학적 특징을 통하여 흑요암의 성인과 산출의미를 고찰하는 데 있다. 흑요암은 곰바위용결응회암 하부에서 국부적으로 발달하며, 다양하고 복잡한 조직과 유동띠가 관찰된다. 흑요암은 알칼리장석 반정과 응회암 및 조면암의 암편과 혼재하여 산출된다. 흑요암은 파동형, 렌즈상의 덩어리로 산출되거나 파쇄된 흑요암 입자들로 인해 얇은 층리로 발달한다. 진주상 균열, 둥근 또는 구형균열과 같은 냉각균열이 특징적으로 발달하는데, 이는 빠르게 냉각하여 규산질이 풍부한 비정질 상태의 흑요암이 형성되었음을 지시한다. 수화작용은 흑요암의 가장자리에서 상대적으로 현저하여 변질띠를 이룬다. 흑요암의 유리질 기질에는 자형의 새니딘과 아노소클레이스 같은 알칼리장석 반정 외에도, 투휘석, 흑운모, 티탄철석, 철산화물 등이 수반된다. 특히 산점상의 미세결정들은 대부분 알칼리장석류와 티탄철석으로 구성된다. EPMA 정량분석 결과, 흑요암의 유리 기질부는 조면암질 조성을 보이며, 철 함량은 약 3 wt.%로 높은 편이다. 본 흑요암은 용암돔이나 칼데라의 붕괴에 의하여 고온상태에서 역-화산재 흐름 퇴적물이 계곡부로 운반된 후, 차가운 지표면과 접촉하였으며 유동성을 띠는 가운데서 급랭하여 형성된 것으로 보인다.

The hydroforming technology has applied to increase strength, and to decrease weight, cost and part count. The hydroforming has been recognized as general technique in automotive industry. This paper deals with the trends of automotive application of hydroforming, new hydroforming technologies, facilities.

  • For New In-Cheon Airport. South Approach Section of Young long Great Bridge is to be special concerned to CWR due to substructure was already constructed former railroad bridge design specification. So we applied maintenance free system and CWR (Continuous Welded Rail) by ZLR(Zero Longitudinal Restraint) at bridge expansion joint part. This thesis generally introduce for CWR by ZLR at South Approach Section of Young long Great Bridge.

국부 금형가열에 조건에 따른 사출성형품 웰드라인의 강도 고찰 (Investigation of Weldline Strength with Various Heating Conditions)

  • Weldlines are generated during the injection molding process when two or more melt flows are brought into contact. The weldlines are unavoidable in the cases of presence of holes or inserts, multi-gated delivery systems, significant thickness change, etc. At the welded contact region, a 'V'-shaped notch is formed on the surface of the molded part. This 'V'-notch deteriorates not only surface appearance but also mechanical strength of the molded part. To eliminate or reduce weldlines so as to improve the weldline strength, the mold temperature at the corresponding weld locations should be maintained higher than the glass transition temperature of the resin material. The present study implements high-frequency induction heating in order to rapidly raise mold surface temperature without a significant increase in cycle time. This induction heating enables to local mold heating so as to eliminate or reduce weldlines in an injection-molded plastic part. The effect of induction heating conditions on the weldline strength and surface appearance of an injection-molded part is investigated.

고압콘덴서용 단자핀의 냉간단조 공정설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Cold Forging Process Design of a Terminal Pin for High-Voltage Capacitors)

  • A terminal pin, which is a part of high-voltage capacitors, has a plate-shaped head section with thickness of 0.8mm. The current manufacturing process, in which the head section is welded on the body part, has given wide deviations of part qualities such as geometrical accuracy, mechanical strength and electrical stability. In this study, a cold forging process sequence was designed in order to produce the terminal pin as one piece. The plate-shaped head section requires an upsetting in the lateral direction of a cylindrical billet, which is followed by a blanking process. The deformed geometry of the lateral upsetting, however, could not be predicted precisely by intuition since metal flows of an axial and a lateral direction of the cylindrical billet would occur simultaneously. Therefore, in this study, three dimensional finite element analyses were applied to the lateral upsetting process in order to determine a proper diameter and height of the cylindrical billet. Once the geometry of the initial billet was determined, intermediate forging processes were designed by applying cold forging guidelines and the designed process sequence was verified by two dimensional finite element analysis. In addition, cold forging tryouts were conducted by using a die set, which was manufactured based on the designed process and finally we found that the part qualities were improved by the proposed cold forging process.

Al 5083O합금의 마찰교반용접부의 조직과 특성평가 (Mechanical Characteristics and Macro-and Micro-structures on Friction Stir Welded Joints with 5083O Al Alloys)

  • This paper shows the behaviors of macro- and micro-structures and mechanical properties for specimen's welding region welded by FSW. according to welding conditions with 5mm thickness aluminum 5083O alloy plate. It apparently results in defect-free weld zone in case traverse speed was changed to 32 mm/min under conditions of anti-clockwise direction and tool rotation speed such as 800 and 1250 rpm with tool's pin diameter of 5 ${\Phi}mm$ and shoulder diameter of 20 ${\Phi}mm$, pin length of 4.5 mm and tilting angle of $2^{\circ}$. The ultimate stress of ${\sigma}_T=331$ MPa and the yield point of 147 MPa are obtained at the condition of the travel speed of 32 mm/min with the tool rotation speed of 1250 rpm. There is neither voids nor cracks on bended surface of $180^{\circ}$ after bending test. The improvement of toughness after impact test was found. The lower rotating and traverse speed became, the higher were yield point, maximum stress and elongation(%) with the stresses and the elongation(%) versus the traverse speed diagram. Vickers hardness for cross section of welding zone were also presented. The typical macro-structures such as dynamically recrystallized zone, thermo-mechanically affected zone and heat affected zone and the micro-structures of the transverse cross-section were also showed. However, the author found out that the region of 6mm far away from shoulder circumference was affected by friction heat comprehensively, that is, hardness softened and that part of micro-structures were re-solid-solution or recrystallized, the author also knew that there is no mechanically deformation on heat affected zone but there are the flow of plastic deformation of $45^{\circ}$ direction on thermo-mechanically affected zone and the segregation of Al-Mg on nugget. The solid solution wt(%) of parent material as compared against of friction stir welded zone was comprehensively changed.

용접 재료 별 해수 배관 용접부위의 부식 특성에 관한 전기화학적 평가 (An Electrochemical Evaluation of the Corrosion Property on the Welded Zone of Sea Water Pipe according to Welding Materials)

  • The sea water pipe of a ship's engine room is a severely corrosive environment caused by fast flawing sea water containing chloride ions and high conductivity. Therefore, leaking of sea water may occur as a result of local corrosion of the welded zone. Leaking is usually controlled by various welding methods. In this study, when the sea water pipe is welded with certain welding methods and welding electrodes, the corrosion resistance of WM (Welding metal) and HAZ (Heat affected zone) was investigated using electrochemical methods. Although the corrosion potential of the HAZ is higher than that of WM, the corrosion resistance of WM is superior to HAZ. However, when WM and HAZ are both opened to the sea water, the WM part with the anode was more seriously corroded than was the HAZ of the cathode by performance of a galvanic cell due to difference of the corrosion potential between HAZ and WM. In particular TIG welding showed relatively good results in corrosion resistance of both HAZ and WM compared to other welding methods.

부산일원에 분포하는 백악기 화산암류의 암석학적 연구(I) (Petrology of the Cretaceous volcanic rocks in Pusan ares, Korea)

  • 부산시 남부일원에 분포하는 백악기 화산암류에 대한 화산층서 및 각 암층별 화학성분 변화 그리고 화산활동의 양상을 고찰한 결과, 본역에 분포하는 중성화산암류는 안산암질 화성쇄설암 (pyroclastic rocks)과 안산암으로 구분되며, 이들은 서로 호층을 이루며 두터운 층후의 화산암누층을 형성하는 다윤회 성층화산체의 구성물이다. 안산암류는 반정광물로 휘석(augite), 사장석 및 각섬석이 나타나며 석기는 휘석, 자철석, 각섬석, 인회석 그리고 유색광물의 변질광물인 녹니석, 녹염석, 견운모, 철광립 등으로 구성되어있다. 국부적으로 안산암질 화산암누층의 상부에는 데이사이트질 화산각력암과 유문암질 용결회류응회암(welded ash-flow tuff) 등이 분출 피복하고 있다. 선행연구(부산·가덕도폭)에서 안산암질 각력암 또는 안산암으로 기재한 화산암류들은 화학성분에 따라 구분해 보면 현무암에서 현무암질 안산암, 안산암, 데이사이트 및 유문암의 성분영역에 해당된다. 본역의 화산암류는 칼크-알칼리 계열의 성분변화를 나타내며, 본역에 가장 광범위하게 분포하는 안산암류는 조산대 안산암(Oroge-nic andesite)에 속한다.
