유능감 강화 체중 조절 프로그램의 효과 (The Effects of a Weight Control Program with Competence)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of a weight control program and compliancy in overweight women. Method: This program was composed of strategies to modify diet and exercise and to change compliance and self determination over an 8 week period. The subjects were 19 overweight women who participated in our project voluntarily. Data was collected from May 4 to Jun 30 of 2007. The program consisted of regular rapid walking exercise, diet, mobile phone messages and e-mail. The data was analyzed by Repeated Measures ANOVA using the SPSS WIN program. Result: According to 3 assessment periods, there were significant differences in body weight, body mass index, and compliance. There were no significant differences in self determination. Conclusion: These findings suggest that more intensive interventions may be needed to demonstrate a change in self determination.

Optimum Weight in Spline for Surface Model

  • The digital surface model (DSM) is used for several purposes in photogrammetry, remote sensing and laser scanned data such as orthoimage production, contours erivation, extraction of height information. Creation of a surface model from point-clouds (3-D sparse points) that can be derived from stereo imagery and range data (e.g. laser scanned data) can be done with several mathematical interpolation models. In this paper, thin-plate-spline (TPS) is used for digital surface modeling. Determination of suitable weight is an important problem in thin-plate function for a surface. The Voronoi algorithm has been proposed as a method for determination of the weight in thin-plate-spline. In this paper, methods has been tested for different surfaces. The results show that thin-plate-spline can be independent of weight.

Influences of Different Planting Times on Harvest Index and Yield Determination Factors in Soybean

  • This experiment was conducted to investigate the changes of harvest index and the relationship between harvest index and yield determination factors by different planting times in the determinate soybean cultivars, Shinpaldal and Danbaeg. Optimum planting were 23 May in 1995 and 1996. Late planting were 13 June in 1995 and 6 June in 1996. Growth period from planting to physiological maturity (R7) was shortened as planting time was delayed in two cultivars due to shortening of reproductive growth period in Shinpaldal, and of vegetative growth period in Danbaeg. Stem weight was distinctly decreased in late planting compared to optimum planting, but seed weight of both cultivars was not different between planting times. Also, seed number per pod and harvest index were significantly increased in late planting and the high correlation was found between two factors. It was suggested that increase of harvest index in late planting would be related with high assimilate use efficiency due to increase of sink capacity. The results of correlation and principal component analysis for yield determination factors showed that main factor on yield determination was pod number per plant at R5 stage associated with dry matter accumulation during early reproductive growth period, seed number per pod and harvest index were the second factor, and one hundred seed weight was the third factor. The result of this experiment indicated that yield determination in soy-bean was dependent mainly on pod number per plant related to dry matter accumulation by early reproductive growth period, and the increase of seed number per pod and harvest index could compensate for yield decrease by shortening of vegetative growth period in late planting. Such result suggests that optimum planting date can be delayed from mid May to early June in improved soybean cultivars in Korea.

On-Line Determination of dn/dc for Size Exclusion Chromatography Coupled with a Light Scattering Detector

  • The internal standard method, which is widely used in chromatographic techniques, is applied to the size exclusion chromatography for the on-line determination of dn/dc value of the sample. This method is found to provide the dn/dc value with suitable accuracy in determining the absolute molecular weight and the molecular weight distribution of the polymers when a light scattering detector is used.

When the value of the exponent, a, appearing in the relation between the intrinsic viscosity and the viscosity average molecular weight, is in the range from 0.6 to 0.8, as is the case for the most polymers, the viscosity average molecular weight is much more close to the weight average molecular weight than to the number average molecular weight.

인공신경 망을 이용한 산사태 발생요인의 가중치 결정 (Weight Determination of Landslide Factors Using Artificial Neural Networks)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 산사태 취약성 분석을 위하여 인공신경망을 이용하여 산사태 요인의 가중치를 결정하는 것이다. 산사태 발생 지역은 항공사진, 현장조사와 지형도 등으로부터 위치를 파악하였다. 용인 지역에 대해서 산사태에 영향을 주는 지형경사, 지형곡률, 토양배수, 토양 유효심도, 토양 종류, 식생 경급과 영급 등의 자료가 사용되었다. 이들 자료를 이용하여 인공신경망의 층간 가중치가 역전파 트레이닝 알고리즘에 의해 계산되었으며, 이는 산사태 요인의 가중치를 결정하는데 사용되었다. 죽, 트레이닝 후 층간 가중치를 해석하여 분류에 미치는 영향을 고려함으로서 각 산사태 요인의 가중치가 결정되게 된다. 가장 높은 값은 지형경사로서 5.33의 값을 나타냈으며 지형 곡률과 토질은 각각 1과 1.17로 낮은 값을 나타냈다. 역전파 알고리즘을 이용한 가중치 결정 방법은 분석에 중요하지 않은 요인을 제거함으로 계산시간을 단축시킬 수 있어 GIS를 이용한 중첩 분석 연구에 활용되 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 경사형 방파제 설계시 최소 중량으로 외부 조건에 충분히 견딜 수 있는 사석 크기를 결정하는 방법을 제시한다. 기존의 방파제 설계에 있어 사석 중량 산정에 이용된 Iribarren, Hudson, Van der Meer 식 등은 단지 차원 해석에 의하여 파력이 중력과 파고의 곱에 비례하는 관계를 이용하였는데, 이번 연구에서는 파력이 파입자의 수표면 최대 속도와 밀접한 관계가 있음을 이용하였다. 또한 파고가 사석 중량 산정에 중요 요소인 것은 여러 논문을 통해서도 알 수 있는데, 이번 연구에서는 선형파 이론을 이용하여 새로운 매개 변수를 추출하였다. 이렇게 구한 경험식을 van der Meer 관측자료에 적용하여 경험계수 산정식을 결정하였다.

  • Determination of dl${\alpha}$-tocopherol and its acetate in their preparation through Infrared absorption spectrum was examined, using the sharp bands at 1085cm$^{-1}$ and 1210cm$^{-1}$ res[ectovely as the key bands. The accuracy of the determination was 100${\pm}$2% to the weight taken.

  • In this paper weight function theory is extended to the determination of the stress intensity factors for the mode I in elliptic crack. For the calculation of the fundamental fields Poisson's theorem and Ferrers's method were employed. Fundamental fields are constructed by single layer potentials with surface density of crack harmonic fundamental polynimials. Crack harmonic fundamental polynimials up to order four were given explicitly. As an example of the application of the weight function theory the stress intensity factors along crack tips in nearly penny-shaped elliptic crack are calculated.
