Recently, the demand for the customized courseware which is required from the learners is increased. Therefore the needs of the efficient and automated education agents in the web-based instruction are recognized. In this paper we propose a multi-agent system for course scheduling of learner-oriented using weakness analysis algorithm. At first proposed system analyze learner's result of evaluation and calculates learning accomplishment. From this accomplishment the multi-agent schedules the suitable course for the learner. The learner achieves an active and complete learning from the repeated and suitable course.

학습자들의 효과적인 학습을 위하여 구성주의 학습이론을 바탕으로 웹 기반 코스웨어를 설계하였다. 기존의 학습과정인 교과서, 멀티미어 타이틀, 웹을 기반으로 한 코스웨어 등이 개발되어 교육현장에서 적용되면서 학습자에게 학습 흥미유발 및 교육성취도 등에서 효과가 있는 것으로 많은 연구자료에서 검증되었다. 하지만 기존의 코스웨어들은 하나의 과정으로 순차적이며 단계적인 학습이 이루어지는 단점이 있어 본 논문에서는 이러한 점을 보완하였다. 학습자들이 각자의 경험과 지식에 바탕을 두어 여러 유형의 학습안중에서 각자에 맞는 학습안을 선택하여 학습하도록 하였다. 즉, 기존의 웹 기반 코스웨어의 장점을 살리면서 좀더 학습자에 맞는 웹 기반 코스웨어를 개발하여 적용하였다. 이러한 결과 구성주의 학습이론을 적용한 코스웨어가 학습자 중심의 능동적인 학습을 통해 학습 성취도를 높여주는 것으로 나타났다.

Since some methodologies of using Internet on English reading have been appeared, most of them have just led students to find some articles on the Internet and translate them into their first language. However, these methodologies have been criticized in that they can not provide naturalistic environment for practical English reading. There are some problems in using Internet for practical English reading. First, the level of vocabularies and grammar of articles from the Internet has not been proved to be appropriate for students. Usually, their level is too high for most students. Second, it needs computer using ability as well as English proficiency if a student successfully finds an article which he or she wants to on the Internet in a limited time. Finally, a teacher should be trained to lead students to participate in a classroom discussion to get, appropriate gists of articles. With all these problems, it is difficult only to use articles from the Internet for successful English reading. Therefore, this study tries to find out some critical problems and solve them, and construct English reading courseware system on the Internet.

There are making epoch changes of a teaching method and educational contents as information communication technology (ICT) introduced to school education. The 7th curriculum induces that teaching hours should be assigned to education using ICT more than 10% of all classroom work hours. In this study, we established basic course of courseware design for applying ICT to physical education effectively in the 7th curriculum. We developed distance-learning program for motion of short-distance race and the entire his power race in middle school using Web. Flash and Database. And we evaluated efficiency by students that are 4 classrooms (140 persons) after teaching using the WBI. According to results of questions and a test, the students expressed that education using ICT make understanding of instruction substance effectively. concentrating their attention on teaching and concerning in teaching actively.

This paper proposes a web-based adaptive tutoring system based on fuzzy set that provides learning materials and questions dynamically according to students' knowledge state, and gives advices for the learning after an evaluation. For this, we design a courseware knowledge structure systematically and then construct a fuzzy level set on the basis of it considering importance of learning targets, difficulty of learning materials and relation degree between learning targets and learning materials. Using the fuzzy level set, our system offers learning materials and questions to adapt to individual students. Moreover, a result of the test is evaluated with fuzzy linguistic variable. Appling the fuzzy concept to the tutoring system could naturally consider and deal with various and uncertain items of learning environment thus could offer more flexible and effective instruction-learning methods.

As the usage of computer and internet is growing, ICT-based teaching is required in education. So far almost web-based coursewares are learner-based individual teaching. Current learning theories and learning model in WBI are too focusing on courseware or too general to apply in education directly. In this view, learning model with subject-specific search engine might be a solution. In this thesis, we developed systematic concept learning model, promoting traditional concept learning to suitable model in education field and also, we developed CEhunt(Computer Education Hunter), that is computer education search engine providing the teaching materials and supporting the design of teaching and effective concept learning environment to learners. Also, we verified that this model could have a positive effect in systematic concept forming process of learners for subject concerned.
