Recently, web services concept is rapidly rising as new solution to solve the integration problem among heterogeneous application systems . This web servic es concept is adaptable in the field of 4S application systems integration that handles the spatial information of GIS, SIIS, GNSS and ITS. So, this paper suggests a new 4S web services model for the infrastructures of nationwide spatial clearinghouse, which is mainly based on the OGC and W3C web services specifications. Conclusively, this proposed model that could serve various spatial data and services has some advantages of being flexibly and powerfully capable of integrating the 4S application systems owing to adapting the international standard specifications of OGC and W3C.

The Web Services Choreogaphy Description Language (WS-CDL) is an XML-based language that describes peer-to-peer collaborations of parties by defining, from a global viewpoint, their common and complementary observable behavior; where ordered message exchanges result in accomplishing a common business goal. In this paper, we survey and analysis the functionality of the WS-CDL, and propose new language, which enhance the WS-CDL for the conversation the message between entities.

The objective of this research is to analyze which functions make up web-based as well as mobile social media services and messengers. Services are clustered by their functionality. A total of 640 individual functions were identified, while investigating altogether 44 selected services in their web and mobile versions. Applying content analysis, functions were assigned to the services. The services were ranked by the number of implemented functions, and the functions were ranked by their occurrence in the services. Cluster analysis was applied to classify the services according to their functionality. Facebook and VKontakte were found to be the ones with the most functions; the most frequently implemented functions are support, profile, and account-related. Cluster analysis revealed six classes for mobile and seven classes for web applications. There is a noteworthy difference regarding the functionality scope between web and mobile applications of the same services. An example for this is Mendeley with 38 functions in the mobile and 91 functions in the web version. This is the first empirical attempt at clustering social media services based on their functionality.

웹서비스는 e-비즈니스에서 반드시 필요한 핵심 기술로 인터넷을 이용한 오픈 네트워크를 통하여 단일 또는 다수의 비즈니스 간 기존 어플리케이션 시스템을 표준화된 기술로 결함 시킴으로써 언제, 어디서나, 동일 환경에서 원하는 정보나 서비스를 제공해 주는 총체적 서비스이다. 그러나 현재의 웹서비스 검색 시스템들은 단순한 텍스트 위주의 검색 서비스 방식으로 단어의 유사성 및 상관관계 등을 파악한 신뢰성 있는 결과를 제공하지 못하며 현재 이러한 시맨틱 웹 기능이 포함된 웹서비스 검색 모델은 거의 존재하지 않고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 기존 웹서비스 검색 모델을 보완하기 위해 일반 웹 문서 검색, UDDI 검색, 시맨틱 문서 검색이 모두 가능한 확장된 시맨틱 웹서비스 검색 모델을 설계 및 구현하였다. 마지막으로 제안 시스템의 실행 결과를 제시하여 그 효율성과 정확성을 검증해 보이고자 한다.

UDDI 서버는 웹 서비스를 등록하고 검색하는데 사용되는 레지스트리다. 그러나 일반적으로 UDDI 서버는 웹 서비스의 품질에 관한 정보를 제공해주지 않기 때문에 웹 서비스 사용자가 품질 좋은 웹 서비스를 선택하기 위해서는 웹 서비스의 품질에 대한 정보를 제공해주는 중개자와 웹 서비스의 품질을 모니터링하기 위한 측정 요소가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 웹 서비스의 품질을 모니터링하고 모니터링 결과를 웹기반으로 제공해주는 UDDI 중개자 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 이 UDDI 중개자 시스템은 웹 서비스의 품질 정보를 수치와 그래프로 보여줌으로써 사용자가 품질 좋은 웹 서비스를 선택할 수 있게 해준다. 우리 연구에서는 사용가능성, 성능, 그리고 안정성 측면의 품질을 모니터 링의 측정 요소로 삼았다.

Web services are deemed as the natural choice for deploy- ing e-government applications. Their use enables e-government to fully get advantage of the envisioned Semantic Web. In this paper, we pro- pose WebDG, a comprehensive Web Service Management System for e-government applications. It aims to improve government-citizen inter- actions through an infrastructure built around the "life experience" of citizens. WebDG provides a framework for automatically composing e- government services, optimized querying services, and preserving privacy.

Mashups are new type of interactive web applications, combining content from multiple services or sources at run time. The www is currently experiencing a revolutionary growth due to its increasing participative community software applications. One of the interesting aspects of the Web 2.0 evolution is the wide-availability of various Web applications as APIs or Web services. These APIs expose informational services on the Web and take many forms of remote invocation of functions using standard Web protocols and XML for data representations. The paper describes mashups from a number of angles, highlighting current developments while providing sufficient illustrations to indicate its potential implications.

최근 기업간 비즈니스 로직의 구현에 웹 서비스를 이용하고 응용 간 통신 및 상호 응용의 사례가 일반화 되고 있다. 이를 위한 기업 내의 기반 시스템 구축에도 웹 서비스의 이용이 활발해지고 있다. 이에 따라 효율적인 비즈니스 모델에 대한 요구가 많아지고 있다. 웹 서비스의 사용이 활발해지면서 적정 수준의 품질 및 보안을 보장해 주는 서비스의 선택이 중요하게 되었다. 또한 서비스 산업의 신장과 더불어 기업의 비즈니스에 서비스 과학을 적용하려는 노력이 많아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위하여 웹 서비스의 품질 측면을 고려한 비즈니스 모델을 제시하고, 이 모델에 서비스 과학을 적용하는 방안을 제안하였다.

웹서비스는 서로 다른 플랫폼간의 통합을 가능하게 하였으나, 네트워크 환경이나 임베디드 시스템과 같이 상대적으로 느린 통신 매체에 자주 접속하거나 모바일과 같이 자원이 한정적인 소형 기기에서 사용 할 경우 전체 응용프로그램의 성능을 저하시키는 문제가 발생하고 있다. 이에 ITU-T(International Telecommunication Union - Telecommunication)와 ISO(International Organization for Standardization)/ IEC(International Electrotechnical Commission) 에서 공동으로 바이너리 XML 인코딩 표준을 제안하게 되었으며, 현재 진행 중인 바이너리 XML 인코딩 표준으로는 Fast Infoset과 Fast Schema가 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹서비스의 성능 향상을 위해 현재 표준화가 진행 중인 Fast Infoset 알고리즘과 Fast Schema 알고리즘을 도입하여 Fast XML 인코딩 시스템을 구현하였다. 또한, 구현된 Fast XML 인코더를 통하여 개발자나 사용자들이 Fast 웹서비스 시스템을 구축하는데 있어 참고 할 수 있는 테스트 베드를 제공한다.
