현재 웹 어플리케이션을 구축하는데 있어 웹서비스는 중요한 역할을 담당하게 되었다. 웹서비스의 수와 종류가 많아짐에 따라, QoS는 웹서비스의 선택과 조합에서 중요한 기준이 되었다. 하지만 웹서비스의 QoS요소는 실행환경에 따라 동적으로 변하고, 이로 인해 선택된 웹서비스가 요청자의 QoS요구사항에 부합하지 않는 웹서비스가 되기도 한다. 본 논문에서는 요청자의 QoS요구사항에 적합한 웹서비스를 찾고 웹서비스의 QoS에 기반하여 웹서비스를 동적으로 변경하는 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 그리고 웹서비스 변경 시 발생하는 웹서비스의 인터페이스적응문제와 수행중인 작업의 보장문제에 대한 해결방법도 함께 제시한다.

To transform the enterprise system into the 'Real Time Enterprise' with respect to IT, I suggest the conceptual application model which is composed of pieces(components) extracted from different packaged applications working in a heterogeneous environment based on the 'business activity' in other words, business services provided by internal (inter-enterprise) and external (extended enterprise) application to support a business activity within in an enterprise and the design mechanism focusing service tier which acts as intermediate tier within application architecture.

In this article, we propose a regression and correlation analysis via dynamic graphs and implement them in Java Web Start. For the polynomial relations between dependent and independent variables, dynamic graphics are implemented for both polynomial regression and spline estimates for an instant model selection. The results include basic statistics. They are available both as a web-based service and an application.

This paper introduces a simulation design decision support system to support the development process of the pipeline network and provide decision support to the operations of the gas pipelines. The system has been implemented on Flash5, which has a multimedia capabilities environment for designing and delivering low- bandwidth animations, presentations, and web sites. It also offers scripting capabilities and server-side connectivity fur creating applications and web interfaces. Hence a user can interact with the system on the World Wide Web.

거래내역의 투명성 향상을 위한 기초 자료로 사용되는 전표데이터의 구조를 분석하여 전표 XML Schema를 설계하고, 기업회계의 공통적인 전표처리 기능을 전표데이터베이스와 연동되는 기업 회계와 관련된 다양한 분산 애플리케이션에서 이용할 수 있게 하는, 전표데이터의 표준화와 전표처리 서비스의 정형화 모델을 제시한다. 본 논문의 결과는 전자 상거래에 필요한 회계처리 시스템의 표준화, 웹 서비스에 의한 공통 전표처리기능의 간편한 재사용, 웹 서비스의 접근용이성을 이용한 기업 간 상호 연동성을 지원하는 표준화의 확산으로 분산 애플리케이션의 효율적인 개발에 기여할 것이다.

웹의 성장은 점차 복잡한 응용에 대한 요구를 가중시켰으며, 데이타베이스와 웹과의 효율적인 연동 역시 중요한 문제가 되었다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 환경을 효율적으로 지원하기 위한 웹 응용 서버 WATS를 설계하고 구현하였다. WATS에서 응용 프로그램은 컴포넌트 단위로 작성된 후 동적으로 링크되고 요청을 처리할 응용 서버가 대기 상태로 존재하는 확장 API 응용 서버 방식으로 구현되었으며, 이러한 웹 서버와 응용 서버의 분리 구조는 대량의 요청을 처리하기에 적합하다. 또한 컴포넌트를 특성에 따라 분류한 후 각 특성에 적합한 특성 기반 스케줄링 알고리즘을 적용하여 프로세스 부하 균형을 이루었으며, 이 기법이 일반적인 라운드 로빈 스케줄링 알고리즘보다 좋은 성능을 나타냄을 성능 측정을 통해서 보인다.Abstract The increasing popularity of the World-Wide-Web (WWW) has resulted in demand for more complex applications, and web gateways to database became core component in such applications. In this paper, we have designed and implemented WATS in order to support these environments. In WATS, application components are dynamically linked with application server processes. And it is implemented as extensible API application server architecture and is able to process a large amount of requests through separating web server from application server. Also we classify the components into various categories according to its own properties and devise process load balancing algorithm by using property-based scheduling. We show WATS using this algorithm performs better than those using general round-robin algorithm.

Due to the development of technology even in learning and education area, many studies have begun to make a new attempts to research by using SNS, breaking away from traditional learning methods. However, the limitations of these studies are restricted only to the use of wireless Internet and writing on Web sites. This study aims to conduct a research on English learning activities that utilize various technologies such as Bigdata, Facebook, Social Network Services (SNS) and English applications. In addition, this study looks into how these modern technologies can be integrated in the classrooms and which activities can be applied in the English classroom. This research is to suggest effective English learning methods through a thorough investigation on the effectivity of various technologies based on the Web 2.0 such as Flickr, blogs, MySpace, and online discussion board within the context of the English learning. To verify the effect of the study, the subjects are divided into experimental and control group. The experiment is proceeded with pre- and post-test. The experimental group is designed to verify the effects using SNS tools such as Facebook, Bigdata, and Online Massive Learning. A survey is conducted to determine the preference of utilizing social networking sites and to analyze the effects in class. The result is that the average scores for experimental group have improved more than the average of control group. The comparison of pre and post-test of the experimental group shows that the significance of the higher and median group was statistically significant at the p<0.01.

Internet protocol television (IPTV), one of the most emerging services, offers multimedia streaming services with security, reliability, and relevant quality of service (QoS)/quality of experience (QoE). It provides added values to all the involving players and also brings technical and business challenges to them. For IPTV services, we expect to adopt the next generation network (NGN) environment for high quality and the Web technologies for personalization to meet the customer's necessity. Web can provide an open, flexible, and agile platform. Therefore, in this paper, we propose personalized IPTV services based on Web-based open platform in NGN environment and present functional architecture for Web-based personalized IPTV services. Technical issues for deploying the proposed IPTV services using Web are also provided. The objective of this paper is to analyze the critical architectural issues for developing viable and feasible networking platform models for personalized IPTV services.

Modern software, especially web-based software, is broadly used in various fields. Most web applications employ design patterns, such as a model-view-controller (MVC) pattern and a factory pattern as development technology, so the application can have a good architecture to facilitate maintenance and productivity. A web application, however, may have defects and developers must fix the defects when a user submits bug reports. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to improving fault traceability in web application by using software revision information and software behavior model to reduce costs and effectively handle the software defect. We also provide a case study to show effectiveness of our approach.
