  • Following the technology developments of traffic network and communication for the wide area, the importance of the cooperation system to vitalize the wide area economy is increasing. Therefore, in this study, DongNam Kwon industry information system is established for the industrial information sharing based on GIS in the DongNam Kwon wide area economy. The DongNam Kwon is an industrial integration area centered with the manufacturing so that the operation of effective industrial cluster and cooperation systems are required across the administrational boundaries. To establish the database of the information, the information system was established utilizing already established industrial databases in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam. But, various issues caused by the discordances among the data of each local government and the insufficiency of GIS based location information have been found. According to the analysis, the standardization considering the courses of collection, distributions and utilization are required immediately to solve the issues. This study establishes an 2-way industrial information system enabling the information creation and the phased approach between the administrator and the user in the bi-directions on the web by utilizing cadastral and numerical maps. The result of this study would have a meaning in providing a fundamental frame for cooperative responses and cooperation system for DongNam Kwon's industrial promotion using industrial information sharing.

  • In this paper, we introduce a novel method to predict next update of blogs. The number of RSS feeds registered on meta-blogs is on the order of several million. Checking for updates is very time consuming and imposes a heavy burden on network resources. Since blog search engine has limited resources, there is a fix number of blogs that it can visit on a day. Nevertheless we need to maximize chances of getting new data, and the proposed method which predicts update probability on blogs could bring better chances for it. Also this work is important to avoid distributed denial-of-service attack for the owners of blogs. Furthermore, for the internet as whole this work is important, too, because our approach could minimize traffic. In this study, we assumed that there is a specific pattern to when a blogger is actively posting, in terms of days of the week and, more specifically, hours of the day. We analyzed 15,119 blogs to determine a blogger's posting preference. This paper proposes a method to predict the update probability based on a blogger's posting history and preferred days of the week. We applied proposed method to 12,115 blogs to check the precision of our predictions. The evaluation shows that the model has a precision of 0.5 for over 93.06% of the blogs examined.

  • This paper proposes a system to detect driver's cognitive state by internal and external information of vehicle. The proposed system can measure driver's eye gaze. This is done by concept of information delivery and mutual information measure. For this study, we set up two web-cameras at vehicles to obtain visual information of the driver and front of the vehicle. We propose Gestalt principle based selective attention model to define information quantity of road scene. The saliency map based on gestalt principle is prominently represented by stimulus such as traffic signals. The proposed system assumes driver's cognitive resource allocation on the front scene by gaze analysis and head pose direction information. Then we use several feature algorithms for detecting driver's characteristics in real time. Modified census transform (MCT) based Adaboost is used to detect driver's face and its component whereas POSIT algorithms are used for eye detection and 3D head pose estimation. Experimental results show that the proposed system works well in real environment and confirm its usability.

  • A data stream which is a massive unbounded sequence of data elements continuously generated at a rapid rate. Many recent research activities for emerging applications often need to deal with the data stream. Such applications can be web click monitoring, sensor data processing, network traffic analysis. telephone records and multi-media data. For this. data processing over a data stream are not performed on the stored data but performed the newly updated data with pre-registered queries, and then return a result immediately or periodically. Recently, many studies are focused on dealing with a data stream more than a stored data set. Especially. there are many researches to optimize continuous queries in order to perform them efficiently. This paper proposes a query optimization algorithm to manage continuous query which has multiple join operators(Multi-way join) over data streams. It is called by an Extended Greedy query optimization based on a greedy algorithm. It defines a join cost by a required operation to compute a join and an operation to process a result and then stores all information for computing join cost and join cost in the statistics catalog. To overcome a weak point of greedy algorithm which has poor performance, the algorithm selects the set of operators with a small lay, instead of operator with the smallest cost. The set is influenced the accuracy and execution time of the algorithm and can be controlled adaptively by two user-defined values. Experiment results illustrate the performance of the EGA algorithm in various stream environments.

  • Sejong, Korea's special multifunctional administrative city, was created as a national project to relocated government ministries, the aim being to pursue more balanced regional economic development and boost national competitiveness. During the second phase development will focus on mitigating the challenges raised due to the increasing population and urbanization development. All of infrastructure, apartments, houses, private buildings, commercial structures, public buildings, citizens are producing more and more complex data. To face these challenges, Sejong city governments and policy maker recognizes the opportunity to ensure more enriched lives for citizen with data-driven city management, and effectively exploring how to use existing data to improve policy services and a more sustainable economic policy to enhance sustainable city management. As a city government is a complex decision making system, the analysis of astounding increase in city dada is valuable to gain insight in the affecting traffic flow. To support the requirement specification and management of government policy making, the graphic representation of information and data should be provide a different approach in the intuitive way. With in context, this paper outlines the design of interactive, web-based dashboard which provides data visualization regarding better policy making and risk management.

  • Objective: The aim of this systematic literature review is to analyze the psychosocial interventions for children and adolescents after disasters. Methods: We conducted a review of the extant research literature from 1991 to 2015 via a comprehensive search of the MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane CENTRAL, PubMed and PsyclNFO databases. The keywords employed in this research included: 'child', 'adolescent', 'youth', 'disaster', 'posttraumatic', 'psychosocial', 'therapy' and 'intervention'. The researchers followed the PRISMA guidelines. A total of 850 articles were screened for their eligibility and fifty-nine were found to meet the study criteria. The final data analysis was performed based on the disaster type, study design, type of intervention, sample size, age, school grade, number of sessions, setting of intervention delivery, providers, approach and parent involvement. Results: Countries worldwide have experienced various kinds of disasters, including earthquakes, hurricanes, vessel accidents, tornados, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, war, fire, terrorism, and traffic accidents. The types of psychosocial intervention that were conducted after these disasters included: psychological first aid, psychological debriefing, psychoeducation, trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy, eye movement desensitization reprocessing, prolonged exposure therapy, group play therapy and arts therapy, project interventions, school-based interventions and web-based interventions. Conclusion: The findings of the systematic literature review suggest that an appropriate psychosocial intervention could be utilized as evidence-based mental health treatment for children and adolescents after disasters.
