  • The current network environment provides a real-time interactive service from an initial one-way information prov ision service. Depending on the form of web-based information sharing, it is possible to provide various knowledge a nd services between users. However, in this web-based real-time information sharing environment, cases of damage by illegal attackers who exploit network vulnerabilities are increasing rapidly. In particular, for attackers who attempt a phishing attack, a link to the corresponding web page is induced after actively generating a forged web page to a user who needs a specific web page service. In this paper, we analyze whether users directly and actively forge a sp ecific site rather than a passive server-based detection method. For this purpose, it is possible to prevent leakage of important personal information of general users by detecting a disguised webpage of an attacker who induces illegal webpage access using traceback information

  • The Korean Archaeological Dictionary, which represents Korean archaeological knowledge information, contains refined and high-quality information written by expert collective intelligence. This is a characteristic that clearly distinguishes it from overseas archaeological data archives, and can be called differentiated infrastructure data. However, it has not played a role as an information service or knowledge information platform reflecting the latest digital technology. As a way to maximize these strengths and compensate for weaknesses, it was proposed to develop and operate a GIS-based knowledge and information platform for Korean archaeology. To realize this, it is necessary to develop a title management system centered on repositories and metadata that can collect and store various information, link open linked data design and related systems, develop a search function that can analyze and visualize data in response to the big data era, and establish a WebGIS-based information service system. This will be a platform to continuously manage, supplement, and update Korean archaeological knowledge information, build a ubiquitous environment where anyone can use information anytime, anywhere, and create various types of business models.

  • The goal of this research has been to develop an adaptive user agent for web surfing. To achieve this goal, the research has concentrated on three issues: collection of user data, construction and improvement of user profile, and adaptation by applying the user profile. The main outcome from the research is a prototype system that provides the functional definition and componential design scheme for an adaptive user agent for the web environment. Internally, the system achieves its operational goal from the cooperation of two independent agents. They are IIA (Interactive Interface Agent) and UPA (User Profiling Agent). As a tool for providing a user-friendly interface environment, the IIA employs the Keyword Index, which is a list of index terms of a webpage as well as a keyword menu for subsequent queries, and the Suggest Link, which is a hierarchical list of URLs showing the past browsing procedure of the user. The UPA reflects in the User Profile, both the static and the dynamic information obtained from the user's browsing behavior. In particular, a user's interests are represented in the form of Interest Vectors which, based on the similarity of the vectors, is subject to update and creation, thus dynamically profiling the user's ever-shifting interests.

  • A design was done, and all characteristic of photodetectr of the web pattern type which a standard process of the Bipolar which Si PIN structure was used in this paper, and was used for the current amplifier design was used, and high-speed, was used as receiving optcal area of high altitude, and the module which had a low dark current characteristic was implemented with one chip with a base. Important area decreases an area of Ie at the time of this in order to consider an electrical characteristic and economy than the existing receiving IC, and performance of a product and confidence are got done in incense. First of all, the receiving IC which a spec, pattern of a wafer to he satisfied with the following electrical optical characteristic that produced receiving IC of 5V and structure are determined, and did one-chip is made. On the other hand, the time when AR layer of double is $Si_{3}N_{4}/SiO_{2}=1500/1800$ has an optical reflectivity of less than $10{\%}$ on an incidence optical wavelength of 660 ,and, in case of photo detector which reverse voltage made with 1.8V runs in 1.65V, an error about a change of thickness is very the thickness that can be improved surely. And, as for the optical current characteristic, about 5 times increases had the optical current with 274nA in 55nA when Pc was -27dBm. A BJT process is used, and receiving IC running electricity suitable for low voltage and an optical characteristic in minimum 1.8V with a base with two phases is made with one chip. IC of low voltage operates in 1.8V and 3.0V at the same time, and optical link receiving IC is going to be implemented

  • This study aims to understand and compare the characteristics of two major approaches to solving global environmental problems - an academic approach including scholarly activities of environmental sciences and a practical approach of environmental movements led by NGOs - by employing informetric analysis methods. Knowledge structure of environmental sciences is depicted through co-citation networks of subject categories assigned to the cited journals in the discipline of environmental sciences for the 10-year period from 2000 to 2009. Furthermore, major interests of environmental NGOs are identified on the basis of external link data collected from web sites of the NGOs. Co-word analyses are also performed using the texts of journal papers in environmental sciences as well as news articles provided by NGO sites. Through the analyses, dominant subject areas of environmental sciences and environmental movements are identified demonstrating similarities and differences between the two approaches.

  • Purpose: This study was performed to develop the electronic textbook (CD-rom title) about preclinical practice of oral and maxillofacial radiology, using multimedia technology with interactive environment. Materials and Methods: After comparing the three authoring methods of multimedia, i.e. programming language, multimedia authoring tool and web authoring tool, we determined the web authoring tool as an authoring method of our electronic textbook. Intel Pentium II 350 MHz IBM-compatible personal computer with 128 Megabyte RAM, Umax Powerlook flatbed scanner with transparency unit, Olympus Camedia l400L digital camera, ESS 1686 sound card, Sony 8 mm Handycam, PC Vision 97 pro capture board, Namo web editor 3.0, Photoshop 3.0, ThumbNailer, RealPlayer 7 basic and RealProducer G2 were used for creating the text document, diagram, figure, X-ray image, video and sound files. We made use of javascripts for tree menu structure, moving text bar, link button and spread list menu and image map etc. After creating all files and hyperlinking them, we burned out the CD-rom title with all of the above multimedia data, Netscape communicator and plug in program as a prototype. Results and Conclusions : We developed the dental radiology electronic textbook which has 9 chapters and consists of 155 text documents, 26 figures, 150 X-ray image files, 20 video files, 20 sound files and 50 questions with answers. We expect that this CD-rom title can be used at the intranet and internet environments and continuous updates will be performed easily.

  • Personalized web search engine provides personalized results to users by query expansion, re-ranking or other methods representing user's intention. The personalized result page includes URL, page title and small text fragment of each web document. which is known as snippet. The snippet is the summary of the document which includes the keywords issued by either user or search engine itself. Users can verify the relevancy of the whole document using only the snippet, easily. The document summary (snippet) is an important information which makes users determine whether or not to click the link to the whole document. Hence, if a search engine generates personalized document summaries, it can provide a more satisfactory search results to users. In this paper, we propose a personalized document summary system for personalized web search engines. The proposed system provides increased degree of satisfaction to users with marginal overhead.

  • Although research has shown a significant amount of work identifying various dimensions of relevance along with exhaustive lists of relevance criteria, there seem to have been less effort to apply the findings to improve actual systems design. Based on this assumption, this paper investigates to what extent those relevance criteria have been incorporated into the interface features of major commercial Web search engines, suggesting what can/should be done more. Before stepping into the actual system features, this paper compares recent relevance research in Information Science with other human factor studies both in Information Science and its neighboring discipline (HCI), as an attempt to identify studies that are conceptually similar to the relevance research, but not named as such way. Similarities and differences between these studies are presented. Recommendations suggested to support applicable interface features include: 1) further personalization of interface designs; 2) author-supplied meta tags for the Web contents; and 3) extensions of beyond-topical representations based on link structure.

  • Public service provision through internet is one of major parts for e-government implementation. It is essential to link the internal administrative network with internet to provide the services through internet and to support kiosks through internet, which should result in critical issues for security. A relay server, as a front server for the public service processing system and a web server, a control server for kiosks, are placed between the public service processing system and kiosks to solve those security issues. It is the way to solve security issues through protecting direct communication between the public service processing system and a web server and authenticating a relay server and a web server through authentication process. In the implementation of the system this paper provide a design for an architecture model of the public service processing system through internet, which are aiming to develop high level of the quality system effectively, to reduce the risk of initial stage of development, and to reduce the incurring cost due to reworks.

  • Personalized reminder systems have to identify the user's current needs dynamically and proactively based on the user's current context. However, need identification methodologies and their feasible architectures for personalized reminder systems have been so far rare. Hence, this paper aims to propose a proactive need awaring mechanism by applying agent, semantic web technologies and RFID-based context subsystem for a personalized reminder system which is one of the supporting systems for a robust ubiquitous service support environment. RescorlaWagner model is adopted as an underlying need awaring theory. We have created a prototype system called NAMA(Need Aware Multi-Agent)-RFID, to demonstrate the feasibility of the methodology and of the mobile settings framework that we propose in this paper. NAMA considers the context, user profile with preferences, and information about currently available services, to discover the user's current needs and then link the user to a set of services, which are implemented as web services. Moreover, to test if the proposed system works in terms of scalability, a simulation was performed and the results are described.
