  • Clickstream is the information which demonstrate users' path through web sites. Analysis of clickstream shows how web sites are navigated and used by users. Clickstream of online web sites contains effective information of web marketing and to offers usefully personalized services to users, and helps us understand how users find web sites, what products they see, and what products they purchase. In this paper, we present an extended web log system that add to module of collection of clickstream to understand users' behavior patterns In web sites. This system offers the users clickstream information to database which can then analyze it with ease. Using ADO technology in store of database constructs extended web log server system. The process of making clickstreaming into database can facilitate analysis of various user patterns and generates aggregate profiles to offer personalized web service. In particular, our results indicate that by using the users' clickstream. We can achieve effective personalization of web sites.

  • A fundamental issue to consider when searching Web information is the quality of information itself and of service. If a Quality Information System (QIS) of Digital Library is sought, new measurement criteria and evaluation index for Web information service are required. Reliance on the existing evaluation criteria is not acceptable if data retrieved are not information and the service is only noise to end-user. Applying existing evaluation criteria of online database to Environmental & Energy Engineering Web DB revealed the limitations and provided a practical and case-based information for improvement. No attempt was made to survey comprehensively all of the evaluation methods that could possibly be relevant. Instead, this discussion concentrates on the information service evaluation index being developed in the KDPC Project. The research found that domestic Web-DB service are still woefully insufficient to conduct comprehensive investigations on environmental topics. More qualified and specialized R&D Web information service and the development of new evaluation criteria based on this investigation(research I.) will be discussed in follow-up research II.

  • With existing illumination rendering system being used in domestic, internationally developed common programs are taking over the market more than 90%. However, since the programs are established with DB designed to be most suitable for their own products, accuracy in analysis and visualized image are hardly reliable. This raises the necessities of establishing DB for domestic developed products. A method of establishing artificial luminair DB, which was studied on DB establishment in consideration of optical characteristics of domestic products with using RADIANCE program was presented in this study, and it is considered as the program of simulating light movement most accurately among all rendering programs developed so far.

  • The credibility and reliability of data is a very important issue in the protective relay setting which seriously influences the system security In this paper, DB management system which provides a convenient environment for various data handling such as data saving, retrieval, DB copy, DB update, DB editor and DB navigation using Web is explained.   • The geo-referencing of satellite imagery is a key task in remote sensing. GCPs are points the position of which is known both in the image and in the supporting maps. Mapping function makes the determination of map coordinates of all image pixels possible. Generally manual operations are done to identify image points corresponding to the points on a digital topographic map. In order to accurately measure ground coordinates of GCPs, differential global positioning system (DGPS) surveying are used. To acquire the sufficient number of well distributed GCPs is one of the most time-consuming and cost-consuming tasks. This paper describes the procedure of automatically extracting GCOs using GCP database. GCP image chips and image matching technique are used for automatic extraction of GCPs. We developed image processing tool for making image chip GCPs and Web Server for management of GCPs.

  • Our society becomes complex because technology is developing quickly. Especially, building services field deals with the important information that produces a drawing and manages the planning information and manpower. Therefore, the efficient management that connected with the construction information plays the important roles. The study develops a database by organizing systematically the various types of information using hypermedia. And, this study is to build the management system that can serve the various information that operated by DBMS on the web according to the DB structure. The information database was developed using internet web technology for building services field.

  • 정보기술의 급속한 발전에 따라 공학 및 과학 분야에 대해서도 정보공유를 통한 연구의 효율성 증대를 위해 Web기반의 DB검색 시스템의 개발이 필요하게 되었다. 이러한 공학 및 과학 분야의 데이터베이스는 실험정보를 많이 다룬다는 분야의 특수성 때문에 데이터 모델링과 사용자 인터페이스 측면에서 이를 고려한 설계가 필요하다. 분 논문에서는 이에 대한 간단한 분석을 통해 ODBMS, CORBA, Java를 이용한 설계가 적절함을 보이고, 이를 화공 및 화학 분야에 적용한 시스템인 DICE(Database on Internet for Chemical Engineering) 검색 시스템을 소개한다. DICE 검색 시스템은 다양한 공학 분야의 실험정보를 관리하는데 유용한 데이터 구조와 사용자 인터페이스를 바탕으로 하고 있으며, 이를 이용하여 화공 및 화학 분야와 관련된 화합물의 물성정보와 실험정보를 함께 제공한다.

  • Conventional command-based communication services are rapidly substituted by multimedia web-based communication services at most recent times. As the result, many valuable database and services developed by investing lots of human and material resources become to be useless. Therefore in this paper we researched the implementation methods and techniques for making the updates efficiently from the conventional command-based database services to a multimedia web-based database system that made users easily access to database and services.

  • 본 논문에서는 사이버공격의 주요 대상인 웹 애플리케이션의 보안을 위하여 취약점진단 및 제거, 이행점검의 웹 통합보안관리 플랫폼을 제안한다. 이 플랫폼은 동적진단엔진, 취약점제거보안모듈, UI를 제공하는 통합관리시스템, 진단 결과를 저장하는 결과 및 통계 DB, 와 진단을 위한 관련 정보를 저장하는 진단 및 보안정보 DB로 구성되며, 동적진단결과에 대한 상관관계분석 기능과 취약점 개선 활동 시 스마트 보안모듈을 통해 빠르고 손쉬운 취약점 제거수정, 완화할 수 있는 통합플랫폼 연구를 통하여 웹 애플리케이션보안을 효율적으로 할 수 있다.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop railroad geotechnical management system using Web GIS and the DB used in system included railroad informations and digital maps. Digital maps are primarily based on a topographical map(NGIS, 1:5000) and by adding digital maps(KRRI, 1:5000) and their spatial database system to NGI code layer, the management system was developed. The system was connected to geotechnical database already developed. The system was able to separate three parts which were layer choice, geotechnical information view and geotechnical analysis and it was possible to save geotechnical and spatial informations using ZEUS DB simultaneously. ZEUS/X was used for usefulness of GIS operation and by offering GUI, user interface for facility was achieved. Geotechnical and spatial informations in this system will provide basic data for plans, design and construction of railway lines in practical use.
