웹 기능의 향상과 웹 관련 기술의 발전, 레거시 시스템과의 통합 필요성 증대, 자주 변하는 웹 콘텐츠와 구조 등으로 인하여 웹 애플리케이션을 개발하고 관리하는 일이 과거보다 훨씬 더 복잡하게 되었다. 그러나 이러한 다양한 요인들을 고려하는 포괄적인 웹 애플리케이션 설계 방법론은 아직 존재하지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 요인들을 고려한 컨텍스트 기반의 웹 애플리케이션 설계 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 방법론에서는 웹 정보를 전달하는 메커니즘에 따라 구분되는 9 종류의 웹 페이지 형태와 웹 페이지 간의 다양한 의미 관계를 정의하는 7 종류의 링크 형태 및 설계 과정 중에 사용되는 여러 종류의 컴포넌트 역할을 구별하는 소프트웨어 컴포넌트 형태 등 다양한 종류의 모델링 기법들을 소개하고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 이 방법론은 '콤펜디엄(compendium)' 이라 불리는 일단의 관련된 정보 클러스터들로 이루어진 독창적인 웹 애플리케이션 모델을 사용하고 있다. 하나의 콤펜디엄은 주제(theme), 컨텍스트 페이지, 링크 및 컴포넌트로 구성된다. 이러한 접근 방법은 모듈 방식의 설계에 유용할 뿐만 아니라 항상 변하는 웹 애플리케이션의 콘텐츠와 구조를 관리하는데도 도움이 된다. 본 연구에서 제시한 방법론은 의미적으로 응집력이 있고 구문적으로 느슨히 결합된 유연한 웹 디자인 산출물을 생성하는데 도움이 될 것이다.

Korea-China with the fastest speed Internet Broad Band, has achieved many progresses on Internet shopping. Especially, Korea has made a great effort on comparison website construction. A research prototype design and exploratory analysis are presented to assess success factors and impacts of Korea and China price comparison websites. For different user groups, the relationships between the characteristics of technology and tasks, usage, and organizational impacts were analysed. It shows us how to improve the applicability of fit-viability of the price comparison web sites in China after analysis. These results indicate a need for simple but highly functional price comparison applications. And we designed a sample model to include an interactive web service system for price comparison sites that complement existing information systems. This paper provides a basis for further research aiming to improve the design and management of business applications based on emerging technologies of web service and browser for information management.

To transform the enterprise system into the 'Real Time Enterprise' with respect to IT, I suggest the conceptual application model which is composed of pieces(components) extracted from different packaged applications working in a heterogeneous environment based on the 'business activity' in other words, business services provided by internal (inter-enterprise) and external (extended enterprise) application to support a business activity within in an enterprise and the design mechanism focusing service tier which acts as intermediate tier within application architecture.

최근 웹 기술이 급속하게 발달함에 따라 웹 기반의 많은 어플리케이션이 개발되고 있지만, 웹 어플리케이션의 개발 방법론 및 품질개선 속도는 이를 따르지 못하고 있다. 대부분의 웹 어플리케이션의 생성은 체계적인 개발 방법론 없이 개발자의 지식과 경험에 의존하여 개발되고 있다. 그러나 웹 기반의 응용시스템은 다양한 개발 기법이 필요하며 설계 및 개발 프로세스를 위해 풍부한 개발 방법론에 요구된다. 본 논문은 객체지향 개발 방법론을 지원하는 UML(Unified Modeling Language) 을 모바일 고객관리 시스템 설계 및 구현에 적용하였다. 즉, 웹 개발단계에서 필요한 스토리 보드와 요구사항 기술서를 바탕으로 모델링하는데 UML을 적용하였다. 그리고 본 논문에 적용된 개발 방법론을 통해서 산출된 컴포넌트들은 이와 유사한 웹 어플리케이션 개발 시에 필요한 컴포넌트로 재 사용될 수 있다. 이 시스템에 UML을 적용한 결과 효율적인 웹 어플리케이션의 분석 및 설계가 이루어진다.

안전한 웹 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 보안을 고려한 웹 애플리케이션의 설계와 구현이 요구되고 있다. 이에 따라 웹 애플리케이션의 취약성을 수치화할 수 있는 여러 가지 프레임워크들이 제시되고 있지만, 이러한 프레임워크에 의하여 도출된 수치는 누적 방식에 의하여 계산되기 때문에 취약점의 심각성을 제대로 분류할 수 없다는 문제점이 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 웹 애플리케이션에서 발생할 수 있는 취약점을 권한 획득 가능성에 따라 등급을 나누고 수치화함으로써 취약점에 대하여 우선순위를 둘 수 있다. 또한 개별 웹 애플리케이션뿐 아니라 한 조직에서 제공하는 여러 웹 애플리케이션에 대한 취약성을 수치화함으로써 어느 웹 애플리케이션이 가장 취약하며 우선적으로 처리해야 하는지 판단할 수 있다. 실제 크롤링 기반 웹 스캐너를 통하여 발견된 취약점들에 대하여 우리가 제안한 프레임워크를 적용하여 등급을 나누고 수치화함으로써 취약점의 권한 획득 가능성에 따른 분류의 중요성을 보이고 있다.

This paper describes recent developments in composite construction and their effect on codified design procedures in the UK. Areas of particular interest include: rules on shear connection, design of beams with web openings, serviceability limits, such as floor vibrations, and fire safe design. The design of cellular beams with regular circular openings now includes generalized rules for web-post buckling, and for the development of in-plane moment in the web-post for asymmetric sections. Closed solutions for the maximum shear force due to limits on web-post bending or buckling are presented. The fire resistance of cellular beams is also dependent on the temperature of the web-post, and for closely spaced openings. It is necessary to increase the thickness of fire protection to the web. For serviceability design of beams, deflection limits and natural frequency and response factor for vibration are presented. It may be necessary to use stricter limits for certain applications.

The growing number of web applications in the global economy has made it critically important to develop secure and reliable software to support the economy's increasing dependence on web-based systems. We propose an intercepting filter approach to mitigate the risk of injection flaw exploitation- one of the most dangerous methods of attacking web applications. The proposed approach can be implemented in Java or .NET environments following the intercepting filter design pattern. This paper provides examples to illustrate the proposed approach.

This paper describes a web-based system called DESIGNER for the analysis and design for automated material handling equipment(MHE) applications in manufacturing. DESIGNER models the processes for system integration, economic analysis, performance analysis, and automated storage/retrieval system(AS/RS) design. Based on the information specified by users, the various analysis modules are invoked to meet the needs of the material handling applications. The results of the analyses provide system users with useful data for material handling system design and decision on investment in automated MHE. Example problems are also presented to demonstrate the use of the system.

Web Services are a distributed component technology based on XML and Web. The Web Services are used to integrate heterogeneous systems under the distributed environment. In this study, the concept of Web Services for CAD (WSC) is introduced, which aims at interoperation with CAD systems using the Web Services. This paper introduces one part of the WSC which enables remote users or applications to retrieve the geometries and the design history of CAD models using the Web Services. This paper proposes an architecture of the WSC, the data model and the interfaces for retrieving CAD model information, and the way to apply the WSC to commercial CAD systems.

A product is designed through the collaboration among engineers in several fields such as design, analysis, and manufacturing. These series of functions are performed repeatedly during the design process. An easy access and exchange of the model data is one of the important elements that help to shorten production development time. Especially, the importance of data exchange between CAD and CAE applications is increasing in the field of verification and estimation of the products. However, information and knowledge of model which is generated by a CAD software cannot be transferred by a function of CAE software, as an exchange of product data between CAD and CAE applications. It causes a delay in design analysis and eventually discourages a designer's effort in improving his design. Therefore, we need to integrate a commercial CAD and CAE applications effectively and to use the same interface on a product model obtained in a distributed environment. This paper shows how to implement a model exchange between CAD and CAE by a web-service and how to provide a communication environment among engineers.
