The Ministry of Environment supports environmental education mainly in two ways ; one is by supporting schools engaged in environment conservation model school and the other is by extending grants for experiential environmental education programs. This research aims to evaluate the current status of grant for experiential environmental education programs while proposing possible improvement for constructive and continuing development of the support measures. Grant for experiential environmental education programs is divided into two areas of grant for schools and grant for community-based civil organizations. The diagnosis and evaluation were conducted in terms of 7 areas, such as time, facilities, programs, manpower (professional expertise), operation, administrative and financial support mechanism and others. Research process involved the review of previous studies in 2001 and 2003, comparison of the grant program with other grants in and out of Korea for environment education, and the following areas considered when identifying improvement options: i) Overall review of objectives and operations, ii) expansion supports programs oriented problem solving as well as those focused ecological sensitivity, iii) change from expendable, one-time program to productive, continuous program, iv) link to social changes and issues, v) principles for operation and evaluation, vi) criteria and methods for program selection and evaluation, and vii) improving operation system. Based on review and the overall evaluation on the experiential environmental education program grant, the recommendation for improving operation system were provided, which included stages of passive improvement, active improvement and building infrastructure for environment education, and building capacity of the members related in the initiatives.

The early stage of Korean language education was to understand grammar. However, recent Korean language education aims to improve expressive ability for smooth communication. Hence, educational drama for education has gained attention as one of the effective ways of improving communication skills. Educational drama provides an actual conversational situation in which one can use appropriate words and grammar depending on the situation. Non-verbal expression such as body language and facial expression could be picked up so one also improves one's communicative abilities naturally. This means that educational drama shares Korean language education's goal of improving communicative ability. Moreover, the student becomes the core of the activity and finds solutions through cooperation with others, and this also helps improve social skills and self-esteem. This thesis covers methods of having interviews, re-writing texts to scripts, writing up post-script by imagining the following text, role-playing, and improving expressive ability by debating educational theatrical techniques. To make these activities successful, good quality VOD and learning materials shall be developed and used. Also, efficient training programs shall be created so that teachers make use of what they learn and improve their teaching skills.

Today, many companies will be isolated in competition if they do not have competitive power to overcome quick change and big crisis of market. Nowadays, globally high-grade companies have done their best for increasing their competitive power through a many kinds of methods in keen competition for making of pacesetting position. This study focuses on distribution with the domains like capacity, layout, amount of location, assignment of product, operation procedure and operation rule in order to improve these domains, we make a further application of eight analysis ways based on DMAIC method for improving operation of processes of distribution center as the third profit source. The purpose of this study is to seek an approach that can easily adopt of Lean Six Sigma in operational management of distribution center by a kind of data, analysis method and template.

The goal of this study is to develop treatment methods for improving the noise quality of Home Appliance Drain Pumps. Developed treatment methods covers the various methods including the control of the water level through the developed electronic circuity and the various modifications over the design of impeller and fan units. In the first part of the studies Dominant noise sources of the pumps are analyzed. Specific noise problems of the pumps are classified on the basis of mechanic and magnetic origins. Factors including the pressure variations at suction head, magnetic interactions with structure, specific fan noises are studied sequentially. The second part of the studies are considered for development and application of treatment methods. Results denoted the basic problems and ways to improve the noise quality by treating the dominant soureces of drain pumps.

Improvement of the speed of the gantry among equipment that mounts a chip using SMT can improve productivity. In order to improve the performance of the gantry, there are studies such as a method of increasing the speed of adsorption, the speed of the gantry by reducing the weight, and a method of facilitating the use of the gantry. But all of these are ways of improving equipment. In this paper, we propose a method to improve the speed of gantry mounting microchip. The method is to shorten the driving time of the gantry. To do this, calculate the driving time using the existing method. And we calculate the travel time using the method presented in this paper. As a result, the time calculated by the proposed method is reduced by 14%.

On this research, recognizing that ship inspection is closely related in improving ship safety', the importance of active quality managements of ship inspection has been notified. This paper aims to explore effective ways to improve inspection service and develop customer-centered inspection administration, by carrying out a case study on K Company. The methods applied for this research project are as follows, 1) sector-based examination of the existence of the ISO 9001 system; 2) evaluation of the operation of the system; 3) conduction of a survey questionnaire with the participation of all staff and inspection companies to analyze customer satisfaction of their inspection service, and 4) statistical analysis of the data collected from the survey questionnaire.

The purpose of this study is to suggest ways to design for the environmental Interface of Long Life Housing. Research, improving the performance of the interface, is underway at the research organization of Long Life Housing. Infill system should accommodate the various changes in the space. So dismantlement, replacement, and repair of the act are essential. In this process, A lot of substance, which can damage or spoil the environment, may be produced. However, the eco-friendly aspects of the interface design of infill system is not made in the approach or evaluation. Therefore, this paper is to analyze the problem of Interface of Long Life Housing in terms of eco-friendly, and it try to find a design method, complemented in the next research.

The research is to examine medical service quality factors affecting choice of hospital(revisiting intention, and recommendation) in large general hospitals based on the SERVQUAL model. The study have surveyed 400 respondents in Gangbuk-gu not having any tertiary hospital. The main results of the analyses indicate: 1) 'assurance' and 'empathy' of medical service are basically, positively affect revisiting intention and recommendation; 2) 'empathy' is the most important factor affecting revisiting intention; and 3) 'tangibility' significantly affects recommendation of general hospitals to other people. The study suggests that it is necessary to pay more attention on 'empathy' among SERVQUAL factors to increase satisfaction of patients and to find better ways of improving medical service quality.

As the competition of 21 cyber universities in Korea has been on a continual increase, they are focusing on improving the quality of the e-learning education in cyber universities. In this study, we intended to derive the failure factors of the previous chatting system in the 2010s and the success factors from previous studies. Next, we identified priorities among five factors(Reliability, UI Convenience, Usability, Network effect, Operational policy) using AHP and the practical ways to implement the chatting service. We applied the chatting system to all the curriculums of S cyber university. Our study finds that the chat service affects the satisfaction of education. Finally, we propose the utilization plan to improve the e-learning education of cyber university through the findings of this research.

Recently, researches into ways of improving large vocabulary continuous speech recognition and speech synthesis are being carried out intensively as the field of speech information technology is progressing rapidly. In the field of speech recognition, developments of stochastic methods such as HMM require large amount of speech data for training, and also in the field of speech synthesis, recent practices show that synthesis of better quality can be produced by selecting and connecting only the variable size of speech data from the large amount of speech data. In this paper we design and discuss linguistic contents for speech copora for speech recognition and synthesis to be shared in common.
